Chapter 21: Fight For Your Right

"HEY, HEY, HEY WATCHERS! It's your favorite hero Present Mic on the mic! So to the viewers that are just now joining us, we just wrapped up our second event and it was-"

"Statistically speaking the U.A. Sports Festival is one of the most watched events in all of Japan. The fact that you assume that there are suddenly going to be people that haven't been watching from the very beginning is rather idiotic of you." Aizawa suddenly cut in, causing Present Mic to freeze in place. Mic then leaned over to Aizawa and proceeded to whisper to him.

"Dude, seriously? I'm trying my best to hype the crowd. Maybe if you tried being cheerier, people would maybe like you more." He then slid a tablet over to his co-announcer. "Here, read off just one of these social media posts. I'm sure that will get the crowd hyped up a bit." Aizawa raised a skeptical eyebrow towards his co-worker.

"I absolutely refuse to degrade myself in such a manner that causes me to speak in broken language and those annoying emoji things."

"…Do it or else I'll lie to Fukukado that you actually want to date her." Hearing that threat, Aizawa's eyes widened in fear and he quickly grabbed the tablet to try and find a post that he thought would be good to read while Yamada laughed to himself. And Yuri Banjo quietly snickered to herself as she overheard the conversation through her television set.

"I bet you're so proud right now." Her guest suddenly said, causing her to lose her concentration for a second.

"What was that?" Yuri asked. Her friend raised any eyebrow in curiosity.

"Ryuga? Your son?" She responded back. Yuri rolled her eyes in response.

"I know that." Yuri replied. "And yes, I am extremely proud of him for your information."

"I bet…How has he been lately?" Her guest asked. "I've been meaning to swing by to see him but with how busy things have been at Shoowaysha and…when Kasumi…I wanted to give him some space." Hearing all of that, Yuri had a bit of a regretful look in her eyes.

"He says that he's doing well, but…I can't help but wonder if I'm doing the best I can. I just…" As the sudden wave of regrets flooded over her, Yuri then a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw her friend trying her best to reassure her.

"Yuri. You raised him all on your own. If anything, that just shows the strength that you have as being a mother." Her guest assured her. "While I do think that there is some areas that you needed to call me for help, you are a great mother, and any kid would be proud enough to have you as their mom." Hearing those words made Yuri tear up a bit, but she was very quick to wipe away the tears.

"Thank you, Chitose." Yuri calmly said, which then caused Chitose Kizuki to give her friend a brief but passionate hug.

"Anytime." Chitose quickly responded. After the quick exchange of feelings, the two went back to rooting for Ryuga Banjo to win. "You going to hold out on his gift if he doesn't win?" Chitose jokingly asked, but she knew the answer already.

"After everything he's done to get to this moment, there is no way I would hold that out from him." Yuri explained.

Recovery Girl's Office

"Well, it seems that pulled some nerves in the lumbar region." Recovery Girl stated to Shoji as his teammates waited next to him. "Any more extensive movement and you would be out of commission for a bit."

"So…does that mean that I'm out of the festival?" Shoji proceeded to ask. "Can't you just use your Quirk to heal me faster?" Recovery Girl shook her head a bit.

"I could, but it would proceed drain your stamina and make you extremely tired. That could affect your performance in the festival." Recovery Girl explained to the boy. As Shoji processed this information, Tsuyu let out a small sneeze, which caught the attention of the Youthful Heroine. "And the same goes for you young lady. Can't get the rest of your classmates sick, can we?"

"No ma'am." Tsuyu responded, looking a bit dejected. Sento noticed this and patted her on the back.

"You did great Asui." He reassured her. She looked to him with hint of sadness and curiosity in her eyes.

"You really think so?" She asked her Class Representative. "Because it really doesn't feel like I did." Her sentiments were shared by Shoji as one of his tentacles transformed into a mouth.

"Same here. Honestly, it doesn't feel like we contributed that much in the grand scheme of things."

"You're kidding right?" Banjo suddenly spoke up as everyone's attention was drawn towards him. "You guys were able to get to the second round of this festival! Not only that, you also made helped our team get to second place! If you don't think that's something to be proud of, I don't know what is!" Everyone stared at him in silence for a couple of seconds. Sento then gave a thumbs up.

"What he said." That response caused Shoji and Tsuyu to chuckle a bit.

"Yeah, I guess that is something to be pretty proud of, isn't it?" Shoji asked.

"You're damn right it is!" Banjo energetically exclaimed…But that was before Recovery Girl whacked him in the back of the head. He winced in pain as Recovery Girl calmly strolled over to her patients.

"You are certainly causing a ruckus in my office young man." She explained in a deadpan toned. "Should you continue, I'll have to throw you out." Banjo giggled at the threat. But the giggling stopped as she began to raise her cane up again. "That's what I thought." She said as she went back to treating her patients. "Now then, shouldn't you two be off then? I do believe that it is lunch time for the rest of the participants." Sento was about to protest, but Tsuyu quickly waved them off.

"It's okay guys," She assured them, "We'll be fine here. Just know we're rooting for you two." Hearing that kind of praise, the two boys nodded with determination and began to leave…With Banjo leaving slightly faster than Sento as Recovery Girl stared at him. Walking through the hallways towards the mess hall, the two boys idly chatted with one another until Sento noticed something that piqued his interest. Shoto Todoroki returning to the mess hall, with Izuku Midoriya slowly following after him, with a look of confusion and determination.

"What do you think that's all about?" Banjo whispered to Sento.

"I'm not too sure." Sento responded. "But why don't you go on ahead, while I go find out?" Giving his best friend a look of confusion, Banjo quickly realized that it would probably be best to leave the two to their own devices and he went to go eat lunch. As Izuku was about to reach the door to the cafeteria, Sento motioned to him that they should talk. With what he just heard; the green-haired boy quickly followed after his friend to the side of the hallway. "You okay?" Sento questioned.

"I uh…" Izuku mumbled, not really sure how to answer. "Well…Todoroki and I talked."

"That much I was able to gather." Sento smartly remarked, causing Izuku to let a small chuckle before getting back on topic.

"Well…He told me his life story and how it explains why exactly he doesn't use his left side." Izuku explained.

"Oh…" Sento said. "Does it have to do with that scar of his?"

"…His mom had a mental breakdown due to the abuse that was brought on by his father and it resulted in her pouring a kettle on his face…" Izuku admitted.

"…Holy shit…" Sento muttered.

"And because of that incident, he has always hated his father ever since and refuses to use his left side at all." Izuku continued on. "And because of that, he wishes to beat me so that way he can reject his father and win this festival without the use of his left side."

"I…It certainly explains why he's so distant with everyone." Sento said aloud.

"It does." Izuku agreed. There was then a moment of silence between the two friends as they tried to contemplate what their next action should be. "What do I do?" Izuku asked, causing his friend to look at him in curiosity. Izuku then realized that Sento was staring at him and freaked out a small bit. "Y-You always give me advice, so I thought that you could give me advice about this." He quickly explained. Sento began to shake his head.

"I…I need to be honest; I don't know what to do in this kind of situation." Sento admitted. "I mean…My adopted dad turned out to be an evil criminal that has tried to kill me in the past before, but when we were home, he never…I don't know how to answer this kind of thing." Izuku then gulped in fear.

"Yeah…I was afraid you were going to say that." Izuku sadly admitted. "Guess this means I have to do this on my own."

"Certainly seems like it." The boy genius responded. "Is there anything else that he said to you?"

"Uh…Yeah, actually." Izuku stammered out, which then caused Sento to raise an eyebrow. "He asked me if…" Izuku took a deep breath, "He asked if I was the secret love child of All Might." After hearing that, there was a silence from the two boys…Until Sento started to snicker a bit.

"Seriously?" The boy genius asked in-between chuckles. The laughing caused Izuku to begin to laugh as well. "I mean, that's something I totally said." Sento continued to say as he giggled.

"Yeah, good thing I didn't bring that up with him." Izuku retorted. "Otherwise, he probably would have been convinced you were my illegitimate half-brother or something like that." As the two's laughter died down, Sento got up and extended his hand outwards to Izuku. Izuku used it to help him hoist himself up onto his feet. "We should probably grab some lunch before we get to the next event." Izuku pointed out. And with that, the two of them began to make their way into the mess hall.

With the break now over, all the students began to return to the arena to wait for the next event to be announced…That was until a good portion of the girls form 1-A appeared in cheerleader uniforms.

"Dude! It totally worked!" Kaminari whispered to Mineta.

"What can I say?" Mineta replied, as he winked. "I can be pretty charismatic."

"I can't believe that I got tricked." Momo said as she sat on the ground, not noticing that Sento quickly tried to wipe away the nose bleed that he currently had.

"Aw, cheer up YaoMomo!" Ochaco began to say. "It could have been a whole lot worse."

"This is stupid." Jiro muttered as she threw her pom poms to the ground.

"That's not fun, Jiro!" Hagakure began to say as she got more excited. "You just got to have the right spirit! GO U.A.!"

"Yeah, plus we look good in these outfits!" Mina excitedly said, causing the girls to look at her in a curious look. "What? It's true." She admitted.

"All right my pretties, listen up!" Midnight exclaimed to the eager crowd of students, ready for the next event to begin. "So, the next event for those who made it into the top 16, is a tournament style, one-on-one!"

"A tournament, huh?" Banjo asked excitedly. "This was made for me!" Kirishima couldn't help but notice the excitement radiating from Banjo.

"This aura…Is true manliness!" He exclaimed, shedding a single tear in the process. Banjo overheard the comment.

"Hell yeah it is!" He exclaimed. This then in turn caused the two bros to then a perform a handshake similar to the one seen in the 1987 classic, The Predator. While this was going on, many of the students just stared at them in pure confusion. A sudden crack of a whip caused everyone to break out of their staring.

"CAN I GET BACK ON TOPIC?" Midnight screeched out the students. On cue, the students refocused back onto the R-Rated Heroine. "Thank you." She said, as if nothing had happened. "Anyways, the rules of the tournament are really simple. The top 16 will be placed into brackets where they go up against one another. If your opponent is either knocked out of the ring, or is unable to continue on with the fight, then they will be declared defeated and you will then go onto the next bracket. The one who comes out on top is declared the winner of the Sports Festival and will the top 3 will earn a special prize where you and a plus one will earn a ticket to go to I-Island and be VIP's to the famous I-Expo!"

'The I-Expo?' Sento thought to himself. 'That means David Shield, the father of many different heroic inventions will also be there. This is my chance to meet one of my personal heroes in person. Perhaps he could give me some advice on further invention ideas. And perhaps I could even get him to sign some-' His thoughts were cut off as Banjo slapped him in the back of the head. "…I was muttering my thoughts again wasn't I?" He dejectedly asked his best friend.

"Honestly, you shouldn't have been surprised by that anymore." Banjo whispered back.

"Now then, for those that didn't qualify for the main event, have no fear!" Present Mic suddenly chimed in. "We have set up a whole set of recreational games for you to participate in, as a nice breather before the blood bath that is about to happen before our very eyes!"

"To clear things up, we can not guarantee any blood will happen. But if there is, then we will have our medical staff check them out to make sure there are no serious injuries that have occurred." Aizawa gave as a quick disclaimer. "And to keep things from going too far, our Modern Literature teacher Cementoss will step in if needed." Cementoss gave a thumbs up to signify his presence on the field.

"Before we get started," Midnight quickly interjected to make sure that the spotlight was once again on her, "two of our students are unable to participate in our main event due to reasons that mainly have to do with their health. So instead their places will be taken by two from the team that ranked Fifth in the Calvary Battle. And after a brief talk from the team, those places will be taken by Hitoshi Shinso and Yuga Aoyama! Now then, with that all out of the way, LET'S GET THIS SHOW STARTED!"

(X)

Match 1: Izuku Midoriya vs. Hitoshi Shinso

As Izuku stepped into the ring, he remembered the advice that Ojiro gave to him about his opponent. That something happens to the person when they respond to one of Shinso's questions. He knew that if he wanted to win this fight, he would have to try and keep his mouth shut for the entire fight.

"Begin!" Midnight shouted. Shinso began to smirk.

"So you're Ojiro's classmate, aren't you?" He began to question. However, Izuku kept his mouth shut. "I must admit, he's rather pathetic. He didn't even want to be a part of this fight. I mean, what kind of coward is he?"

"Don't you talk crap about my-" Izuku began to say, but in just a few words, he was already under Shinso's Quirk.

"You're really lucky, you know?" Shinso pondered. "You were blessed with such a heroic Quirk and have been accepted to this school. However, it won't help you now. Now then…Walk out of the arena." Shinso commanded, to which Izuku began to blindly obey. His friends began to cry from the stands to try and get him to snap out of it, but their cries fell on deaf ears as he continued to walk. That was until…

"Kid…" A couple of ethereally like voices began to say. "Wake up." All of a sudden, One For All suddenly activated in his fingers and debris went flying everywhere, shocking Shinso and the crowd watching.

"How?" Shinso questioned as Izuku turned to look at his purple haired adversary. "I had you under my-" He was cut off as Izuku activated Full Cowling and rushed Shinso and kicked him in the chest, causing him to go flying out of the ring.

"Izuku Midoriya wins!" Midnight shouted, causing the bystanders to go wild.

"Way to go Deku!" Ochaco cheered.

"That's my boy!" Banjo cried out. But the cheers didn't matter to Izuku as he stared as his hand and his mind began to drift to the voices that he heard in his head. Was there more to One For All than he, All Might, and Sento realized?

(X)

As Todoroki began to walk to the arena, he was stopped as a voice called out to him.

"Shoto." Endeavor said in a disappointed voice. After a brief silence, Todoroki finally spoke up.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"You are acting disgracefully to your father." Endeavor replied. "You still refuse to your left side in the first and second events. Stop acting like a rebellious child and grow up to what I raised you to be. To surpass All Might. You are my greatest masterpiece compared to your siblings. So act like it." Being disgusted by that statement, Todoroki continued to walk away.

"I'll never use that side of me while I still live." He declared. "Get used to it."

Match 2: Shoto Todoroki vs. Hanta Sero

As Sero stretched his limbs, he felt a bit confident in himself. "I got to admit, I always wondered if I could take you on." He said to his adversary. "And I think that today will prove that I can!" However, Todoroki was still silent as he gave a death glare to the fellow student. "Geez, talk about a cold reception."

"GO!" Midnight excitedly said as Sero was about ready to shoot out a piece of his tape…That was until a giant glacier proceeded to cover half of the arena. There was a piercing silence as everyone stared in wonderment and horror at how quickly the ice formed. The half-frozen Midnight called out to Sero. "C-C-C-C-Can you m-m-m-m-m-m-move?"

"…No." The nearly frozen Sero admitted.

"S-S-S-Shoto T-T-Todoroki w-wins." Midnight disclosed in-between teeth chatters. Todoroki then walked to his opponent and began to unfreeze him.

"Sorry." He began to say. "I did it because I was angry."

Match 3: Denki Kaminari vs. Sento Kiryu

"Alrighty! A chance at taking on the Class Representative!" Kaminari excitedly said as he began to charge up his electricity. "Hey, if I beat you does that mean I get to take your position as Class Rep?" As Sento shook his Rabbit and Tank fullbottles, he pondered at the question that was just said.

"I am 100% that isn't how political elections work. Like…At all." He responded as he put the fullbottles into his driver.

RABBIT! TANK!

BEST MATCH!

"Henshin!" Sento as he struck a pose.

FULLMETAL MOONSAULT!

RABBITTANK!

YEAHHH!

"Go Sento!" Sawa stood up and cheered from the stands.

"KICK HIS ASS LITTLE BRO!" Misora also cheered, causing Sawa to look at her in confusion. "What?" She questioned back. "You wanted me to some spirit, this is what you're going to get." Misora then turned back to do some more cheering. "MAKE HIM CRY FOR HIS MOTHER!"

"Guess I'll have to go all out to beat you!" Kaminari exclaimed as he began to use his electricity to try and shock his opponent. Sento tried his best to dodge each of the blasts that came remotely close to striking him. Every time that the electricity came close to striking him, Sento could feel the residual static that lingered in the air. Realizing that it probably would be best to end the fight quick, Sento began to turn the handle of his driver quickly.

READY? GO!

Sento quickly rushed towards Kaminari in a quick speed burst, which caused the Electrification user to barely even realize what was going on. The moment that he did, he could feel the fist connect with his cheek. The punch sent Kaminari flying out of the ring and do a tumble landing in the grass.

"SENTO KIRYU WINS!" Present Mic exclaimed, which caused the crowd to go wild with excitement. "I don't know about you, but those results were pretty…Shocking, if I do say so myself." Aizawa could help but roll his eyes in response. As Kaminari shocked his head to get his senses under control, he realized that Sento had stuck his hand out in order to help him up. Kaminari grabbed it and hoisted himself up.

"Be honest, did you go easy on me?" Sento jokingly asked his friend.

"I didn't want my brain to go all dumb like it usually does after I use my Quirk." Kaminari defeatedly responded. Sento had to hold back a chuckle. "Hey man, let me just keep my dignity, okay?" Kaminari asked.

"No problem." Sento said as he and his opponent walked back to the stands.

(X)

Match 4: Tenya Iida vs. Mei Hatsume

"Mr. Iida, I must warn you that Hero Course students are not allowed to use support gear in these events without filling out the proper paperwork first." Midnight quickly said as Tenya put on the last bit of his equipment.

"You must forgive me ma'am!" Tenya exclaimed as he bowed. "Ms. Hatsume had offered the equipment in order to try and keep the fight we are about to endure completely fair! If I hadn't taken up that offer, I felt that it would have been a disgrace to her, so I wish to honor that action! May I please use this equipment in combat?" Hearing the boy's passion, Midnight's cheeks became flush with heat.

"Ah, that young vigor!" She squealed in delight. "Alright, I permit it!"

"Thank you Ms. Midnight!" Tenya exclaimed, unaware of the true pleasure that Midnight received from seeing him defend his actions.

"FIGHT!" Present Mic shouted. Tenya rushed towards his opponent, but Hatsume remained calm…As a microphone ejected from her headset.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" Hatsume spoke into the microphone, which then projected from the speakers, causing everyone to become confused. "My name is Mei Hatsume! And it is my pleasure to demonstrate some of the wonder inventions that I have created specifically for today's festivities!" Mei turned around, which let Tenya to try and seize the chance for an attack from behind. "For example…" Hatsume suddenly said, as the device on her back shot out two poles extended from said machine and it shot her up into the air. "This is labeled as my Hydraulic Bracers! This device has sensors all over the device, which then attacks the foe that dare wishes to attack me! Even those who even try to attack me from behind." Tenya tripped over one of the poles, causing him to begin to trip. Until he was suddenly able to stand up straight. "And what my assistant here is currently wearing is my Auto Balancers!"

"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY USING ME FOR ADVERTISING?!" Tenya loudly questioned. After many minutes of Hatsume used her gadgets to show off her skills to the crowd and possible investors, a big smile spread on her face as it had seemed that her work was noticed relatively well.

"And with that, I must bid you all adieu, my captive audience!" Hatsume said as she walked out of the arena.

"TENYA IIDA WINS!" Present Mic shouted. But then he quickly grumbled under his breath at the audacity of the inventor girl.

"How did she even get the codes to the speakers?" Aizawa questioned to himself.

"HOLD IT YOU DELIQUENT!" Tenya began to shout. "YOU STILL NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO ME FOR THE DECEPTION THAT YOU PULLED ON ME!" But his cries fell onto deaf ears as Hatsume continued on her way back to the stands.

(X)

Match 5: Yuga Aoyama vs. Mina Ashido

"Stand still, Belle dame!" Aoyama shouted out to his opponent as he constantly fired out his naval laser to try and hit her. But effortlessly, she used her acid to skate around and avoid every blast fired her way. "You are really making my tummy upset!"

"Aw~, I am?" Mina teased her opponent. AS she continued to dodge the blasts, she readied some acid in her hands. Aoyama then fired off a huge blast, which Mina dodged with the grace of a dancer. After the blast failed to hit anything, Aoyama could tell that it really affected his stomach as he felt it doing constant flips. "I know the perfect cure for that!" Mina yelled as she fired some acid that hit Aoyama's belt, causing it to malfunction…As well as cause his pants to fall down. Mina quickly skated with her acid and clenched her hand into a fist. "Some ant-ACID!" She exclaimed as she gave an uppercut to the French student. As soon as her fist connected to his jaw, Aoyama hit the ground hard. "Get it?" She questioned. "Because I shoot acid!"

"MINA ASHIDO WINS!" Present Mic screamed out, causing the crowd to go wild.

"Way to go, Ashido!" Hagakure chanted from the stands, where a couple of her classmates were also cheering for the pink girl as well. Except for one.

"Aw man," Mineta sighed to himself. "I was hoping that Ashido's clothing got torn up…But instead, I saw Aoyama's underwear instead." Banjo glanced over at him, with a look of disgust.

"…You're really are pathetic, aren't you?" He asked the grape-headed pervert. Mineta then turned with a look of shock.

(X)

Match 6: Fumikage Tokoyami vs. Momo Yaoyorozu

"FIGHT!" Midnight excitedly shouted. Tokoyami was quick to get to work as he summoned Dark Shadow to quickly try and attack Momo. Momo, having been a bit distracted by the announcement, created a shield to block the attack. The creature struck her shield, causing her to skid back a bit. In retaliation, Momo had tried to quickly a pole weapon to try and strike back.

However, it appeared that she didn't have enough time as Dark Shadow once again struck her shield, causing her to break her concentration on creating her offensive weapon. The creature then dealt a powerful blow to her protection, as it ripped the shield from her arm, which garnered a shocked response from the girl.

Momo quickly created another shield just in time as Dark Shadow quickly rammed into her, causing her to be rammed backwards. As she got her bearings, Momo had realized that the onslaught had strangely stopped, she knew that she had to take the offensive as she created a pole weapon. She knew that she only had a small window to-

"Fumikage Tokoyami Wins!" Midnight suddenly said, bringing shock to Momo as she realized that she had been knocked out of the ring. Tokoyami had called back Dark Shadow and once the creature had been fully called back, the bird headed boy bowed before his opponent.

"You were a great adversary and our fight should hopefully help us show our weakness that we need to work on in the future." He stated, before he began to promptly leave the ring.

"And once again, another quick fight and a great victory for Tokoyami!" Present Mic began to say. "But there was also a decent effort by Ms. Yaoyorozu! With some more training, she probably could have beaten him!" The comment had put a heavy weight onto Momo as she felt as if she wasn't good enough to be a part of U.A.'s roster. She hung her head in shame as she began to walk toward the tunnel entrance.

"It's a shame." Banjo said to Sento. "I mean, that was over quicker than I thought it was going to be. Think maybe somebody should go talk to her?" As the question hung in the air, Banjo became confused when he didn't receive a response. He then turned to look at Sento, but was a bit shocked when he saw that his friend was already gone.

(X)

As Sento wandered through the empty halls of the arena, he had serious concerns about his friend. He knew the girl to have put on a brave face from his time spent with her, but the face he saw as she went into the tunnels…It was a face he was all too familiar with. A face that said that the confidence that you spent so much time building, just crumbling down around you. It was the face of pain.

After a couple moments of searching, his search was ended as he heard the faint sound of sniffling. Turning a corner, he saw Momo sitting against a wall, trying her best to stifle her cries. Seeing her in that way was a bit shocking for Sento. He had known the girl to be confident in her tasks. But seeing her like this…It was heartbreaking for him.

It took a second for him to make a move as he sat down next to her. Hearing the new addition of her friend next to her, Momo tried her best to compose herself. The two sat in silence for a bit, not really knowing how to address each other. But eventually, the right words came to Sento.

"I um…I've been where you are before." Sento admitted. The confession made Momo look at Sento with a form of curiosity in her eyes. The look went unnoticed by the boy as he continued to speak. "For…For the last two years of my life, there have been moments where I've questioned whether or not the world was pitted against me. Like it was if that I…really didn't matter at all. Yet, I always had people who have always told me how they believed in me. Just trying to push me on the right direction. And I think I need to take a page out of their book by saying this…I believe in you. I think…I know that you are one of the greatest students that we have in our class. Anyone would be proud to be able to know you." After a small amount of silence, the girl wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Why are you doing this?" She asked, causing Sento to do a subtle double-take. "We've only known each other for a couple of weeks, we only interacted outside of our school a handful of times, so why…" She then turned to look at him, why genuine inquisitiveness. "Why are you doing this?" As the question hung in the air for a bit, Sento didn't really know what to say. But eventually, the words managed to slip out.

"Because you're my friend. And I will always care for you, no matter what happens." He responded. An awkward silence filled the air, Sento looked away from what he felt was a judging stare. "I, um…I guess we get goi-" He was quickly cut off as Momo quickly pulled him into a tight hug. And as Sento realized what was happening, all feelings that he had where he was nervous around her evaporated as he hugged her back.

"Thank you." She quietly whispered as she continued to hug her friend. After all the two of them had been through, she felt as if this was right to just be in this kind of position. Momo slowly pulled away from the hug, with Sento giving her a nervous smile. She gave one as well. Then, the two started to lean towards one another as they closed their eyes, preparing to do something they have never done before as they were about to their relationship to a whole new level…

Then Momo opened her eyes. The two were still in a tight embrace, having barely moved at all. The thoughts that were racing through her mind were unlike anything she had ever experienced before. They were…intimate. Thoughts that made her cheeks become heated with a blush she didn't know was even humanly possible. Eventually, the two broke their embrace. Momo tried her best to hide the blush from her friend.

"Um…That was…" Sento struggled to get out. "Uh…Should we start to head back?" He asked his friend. She quickly nodded her head.

"Y-Yes, I think that would be good for us. I'll be right behind you." She responded. As the two got up and began to walk back to their seats, many things were going through Momo's head. Mainly about the thoughts that she had just mere moments ago. They were the kind of thoughts that she honestly never thought she would ever experience in her lifetime. And they all began to happen after her and Sento began to develop a deeper connection with one another. She felt as he was really the only one that she managed to truly connect with on an emotional level. With the evidence laid out on the table, she came to one logical conclusion…

She had developed feelings for Sento.
