Chapter 18: Kyle
Dipper looked across the battlefield and saw a big fireball heading right towards him, with least than a second to react, he chose to jump out of the way. He barely dodged the ball of flames when suddenly a second one was shot directly at him. This time, he had more time to make a choice, Dipper got out of the fireball's way and felt adrenaline starting to rush through his body. He looked over at Tom who was running towards Dipper with a trail of fire following him, scorching the ground behind him.
"I guess I should give it a shot." Dipper said as he began to try and channel his powers, he took a deep breath and let the adrenaline pump throughout his veins. But Tom was faster than Dipper though and the prince threw a few punches at him, but Dipper was able to dodge them. He then jabbed Tom quickly in the gut and followed up by tripping him, sending Tom to the ground. Dipper was about to throw another punch, when Tom quickly stopped him in his tracks with a fireball, hitting Dipper and sending him flying up into the air. He then jumped up and flew up to Dipper, then roundhouse kicked him back down to the ground. The impact caused Dipper to severally hurt his back and limbs. He tried to get back up, but his body was too hurt to move. Tom came back down and crashed Dipper underneath his feet, he then was screaming out in pain. Tom picked Dipper and threw him into a wall of the colosseum. Dipper fall back down to the ground after the impact, Tom was slowly walking over to the beating up teen, looked at Dipper and leaned down to talk to him.
"You can't beat the demon prince Dipper! I'm way to powerful!" Tom said, he then seismic tossed Dipper into the ground. He took back up to the skies far above. The wounded boy looked at the demon above who was flying down to hit him, Dipper then thought back to what filled him with energy, to what gave him his rush of adrenaline, but not just that, also what gave him his power. 'Summoning this tremendous amount of energy that could possibly consumer my body, it was always the sense of urgency of losing someone I care about, THAT is was drove me back then and what still drives me now.' He could feel the adrenaline pumping into his system again, he then got up ignoring all the pain in his body.
"I won't lose, I can't lose. Not when I have something worth fighting for!" He yelled and at that moment, Dipper felt the same energy that flowed within him back when he fought the Mangon and when he was rushing into the burning Mystery Shack, it was in him once again, filling him with stupendous power. He looked back up at Tom, Dipper then took a deep breath and controlled the energy within him. He could feel the force within him getting stronger, it was a unique sensation, as if he had something jolting around in his body. Dipper concentrated on that jolting feeling and channeled it, then he jumped all the way up to Tom and threw a punch at him. Tom was caught off guard by Dipper's speed and was smacked down to the ground at a tremendous velocity. He was shocked by the amount of power Dipper had within him. Tom got back up quickly and shot another few fireballs at him. Dipper quickly decided to punch the fireballs and shattered them without breaking a sweat. Tom had gotten pissed and rushed Dipper with a series of aggressive fire punches, but sadly for him, Dipper had gotten too fast for him and overwhelmed Tom, landed a powerful punch and send him flying into the wall. Tom got himself out of the wall and spat out some blood, he looked over at Dipper. He saw the young man with some sort of purple energy around his body.
"I don't care what you throw at me, I don't care what you do to me, I'm going to win and I'm going to go back to see Pacifica!" Suddenly, Dipper rushed him at full speed and punched him back into the wall again. Tom quickly put up a firewall to put some distance between him and Dipper. Tom throw a small ember over to the other side of the battlefield and instantly appeared there, he then grinned and yelled:
"Hey Dipper, show me how much power you can handle, give me everything you got!" Dipper was a bit confusied by Tom's comment, but he wasn't going to stop now. Dipper didn't want to lose, he had too much on the line. He wanted to get out of this alive; he wanted to see his family again; he wanted to see Pacifica again. He replied with a nod and put his arm out with an open hand towards Tom. He then concentrated as hard as possible and felt the jolting sensation started to build up in his fingertips, Dipper then closed his eyes and tried to visualise the energy within him, he felt all of it coursing within his wounded body. He then concentrated his mind onto one thought: 'I need to do this, I need to win! Because Pacifica is waiting for me.' He replied this thought a few times before opening his eyes and he saw a ball of energy at his hand, Dipper then yelled as he released the energy, sending it all at Tom. The prince saw the ball of energy heading towards him.
"Ahaha, I can't take that head on. This guy has got potential, he go far with the right training." Tom dodged Dipper's attack and watched the damage it caused to the arena. The concentrated energy smashed into the wall and exploded, turning more than half of the battlefield into rubble. Tom nodded and smile, he landed in front of Dipper with his hands up, admitting defeat.
"I give, don't kill me. I give." Tom said to make sure Dipper got the message. Dipper nodded and fall flat on the floor. Tom chuckled a bit and sat next to Dipper.
"I guess that last blast took a lot out of you hun?" He asked, he then tapped Dipper's face briefly, he pulled out a tiny vile and poured it on Dipper.
"Don't worry, I'm just giving you some Phenix blood, it heals all wounds at extremely fast speeds." Dipper could feel the blood flowing in him, repairing his back and his limbs.
"Anyway, I understand why you're tired, you know what? you did very well, I hope you've calmed down too. Well you know what, I'm gonna take advantage of this moment of you being too fatigued to move to talk about me and my rage. Maybe you can learn from it. Oh also, something else, Marco was the one who asked me to help you with your rage on the behalf of Star, but someone else asked me to help you with your powers, a guy by the name of Kyle." Tom said, Dipper just rolled his eyes cause it was the only thing he could do. Tom began talking about his life story:
"Anyway, when I was younger, I was given everything I ever wanted if I got angry, cause I would throw fire and I had the power to remove their soul, so I got toys; food; weapons; literally anything, I just had to say the word. This wasn't good, it gave me the feeling that I could command anything from anyone if I got angry. But one day, I met a blonde adventurous girl, she was amazing and as you could guess, it was Star. She and I started dating cause I was the only one who could deal with her bombastic personality. Crazy right? Who would have thought the Princess of Mewni had dated the Prince of the Underworld, Well it's true. We were incredible together, we were both Risk takers; loud; bizarre and loved destruction of property. Yet, I had anger problems and I also had jealousy problems, that's why we first broke up. Believe it or not but we got back together a while ago, and it was all good...at least...that's what I thought. Apparently, she had feelings for Marco and didn't ever tell me, I found out threw Marco who told me they kissed each other while I was still with her. But not just that, I also saw the picture of the two kissing that Star had kept. So then she and I broke up again and from then...she's been very happy with Marco and he's treating her well, and meanwhile with me, I've been all over the place. I've started sleeping around with any girl pretty much and I've been actually very happy believe it or not. I guess I wasn't made for the relationship life, and I'm okay with that." Dipper finally got some movement back in his face, he looked at Tom.
"Listen Tom, I know have a lot on your plate, but what does this have to do with me?" He asked.
"I'm sorry Dipper for throwing all of this on you, I haven't had anyone to talk to really, I mean there's Marco, but I don't want him to talk about with Star, cause she will worry and I don't want that. Also, I'm telling all of this cause it sounds like you and Pacifica have something special, I mean you seem like a really nice guy, at least from what Marco's told me back in the day. I hope you still are like that, cause a guy like you is hard to fine." Tom replied as he put a hand on Dipper's shoulder.
"That's nice of you to say, but can I ask you something? How did you transport to the other side of the arena?"
"Oh yeah, that trick. Well wherever there's embers, I can appear there instantaneously." Tom replied.
"Oh that's pretty cool." The two sat there awkwardly, nothing to say to each other. Suddenly Dipper cut the few seconds of silence.
"So, Um, can you take me back Gravity Falls? I need to get back."
"Oh yeah of course, but that reminds me. Before we go, can I ask you something about you?"
"Um...Sure, ask away."
"Well, how much do you care for Pacifica? Is that her name?" Dipper didn't know what to say, he wanted to explain how he felt but he couldn't find the words. Of course he cares for her, but it's more than a friend normally cares about someone. He looked at Tom and said confidently:
"I care about her so much, it's hard to put it into words." Tom nodded.
"Don't worry, I understand how you feel. But you should show her that you feel this way, the next time you see her, tell her how much she means to you or even how much you missed her. It's all you need to say."
"I'll do that, I promise." Tom chuckled and put Dipper over his shoulder.
"Alright, let's get you back home, sorry for the way I'm carrying you, how often do you get to help out a handsome young guy like you? Pacifica a very lucky girl." Tom replied. Dipper didn't reply back, he was a bit on edge from his comment. Tom took him back into the chariot and went back up to Gravity Falls. As the two were going back up, Tom was curious and asked Dipper a question.
"Yeah, what was with that purple energy surrounding your body? Is that normal when you use your powers?"
"Um, I haven't really used my power to such an extent as today, but I'm guessing its normal. From the way you described it, it was most likely lightning you saw flowing through and escaping my body."
"How is that possible? Lightning isn't purple!" Tom exclaimed. Dipper rolled his eyes and explained:
"Well actually lightning is purple on world at least, you see, lightning is plasma which in a simple term means superheated gas and when you superheat nitrogen, the majority of the air we breathe, into a plasma, it turns purple."
"Well I guess that makes sense, but it kinda breaks the magic of your powers now that I know all this." Dipper nodded in response. Tom looked over at Dipper:
"Hey, could I asked, Is Dipper your real name?" Dipper shook his head.
"It's not, I only got my nickname from my birthmark." He replied.
"So what's your name then?"
"It's Mason, that's my name." Tom smiled and opened the chariot door.
"Well, it was nice to fight with you Mason." He said. Dipper stepped out of the chariot and nodded.
"I agree, it was great to fight you Tom" Tom shut the door and went back downing into the underworld. Ernest was sitting there waiting for Dipper. He gets up and asks:
"So, what do we do now?" Dipper looks at Ernest with determined eyes.
"We go get P, then we take on Gideon." He replied.
Meanwhile, In Echo creek, Marco; Star and Pacifica were calmly eating ice cream and chatting while Janna was going through Marco's stuff upstairs. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
"I wonder who that could be?" Marco stated as he got up to answer the door
"It could be Dipper! Do you think he's here to apologise?" Star said. Pacifica rolled her eyes and put her bowl of ice cream on the coffee table and replies:
"Maybe, but I doubt he'll apologise just like that, when he thinks he's right, he'll not back down until the very end." Marco opened the door and was greeted with an envelope on the doorstep. He picked it up and saw the person who was addressed on the envelope.
"Um...Pacifica, did you tell anyone that you were here in Echo Creek?" Pacifica got up and watched Marco slowly shout the door.
"No, why?" She asked. Marco didn't reply and handed her the envelope with her name on it. Pacifica facial expressions changed to a more worried look as she slowly opened the envelope and pulled out the letter inside. She began to think to herself the closer she got to reading the content of the letter 'Who the hell could of sent this? No ones I'm here...right?'. She had no clue, Pacifica opened up the letter and she began to feel strange, she tried to read what was on the paper, but she was blinded by the light eminently from it and as she regained sight, she was no longer in Echo Creek.
Pacifica had been transported to an unknown world, but for some reason, it felt familiar to her. She looked around, all she could see was blue sky walls with marks of black, it looked the walls were being taken over by the black marks. She continued to look around and saw a soft white carpet that took up the whole room floor and an oak wood desk. Pacifica walked over to the desk. On the desk were a pen that were suspended in midair, a big stack of papers with a pen onto of the pile, a clock and a photo of multiple people with a cracked frame. She took a closer look at the picture and saw that it was a family portrait. The two kids were standing next to each other and in front of their parents. Pacifica directly noticed that the girl in the picture was young Star Butterfly who was about 4, but she noticed the boy who looked a few years older than Star. She put the picture back on the desk and looked over at the stack of papers. She tried to read what was written, but she wasn't able to understand the language. 'Whoever wrote these papers has super sloppy handwriting, I'm sure A blind chicken could do better' she thought. She put the papers back and looked at the clock. It was a miniature grandfather clock, it had something ingrained inside of it. Pacifica went to take a closer look, but was interrupted by a man who had just teleported into the room. She watched as the floating man slowly drifting to the ground. He looked about 27 years old. He had blond hair, He was wearing a tuxedo, had his short hair that wasn't cut too long ago and he was quite tall. The man sat down at his desk.
"Please Pacifica, take a seat, we have much to talk about." The man requested.
"How do you know who I am?" She asked.
"Well I mean, it's my job to know who is who. I know you, your dad, your grandfather, Dipper and so on. How about you sit and you can ask me whatever you want?" Pacifica nodded and sat down.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Kyle, the Chief of all the Time Angels."
"Okay, and what does that mean? What do you do?"
"Well, I'll try to explain as best I can so that it's not too confusing. I take care of every timelines that exists, I send out Time Angles to keep things in order and to make sure some people stay in line, or to keep tabs on people." Kyle explained.
"I guess that's understandable, so you know everyone from every timeline and the differences between each timeline?"
"Well of course. There's Pacifica Northwest from G2, there's Ernest from K537, Rick C137, Oh I think you know Harrison Northwest from D44, your Grandfather. I know everyone. And for the difference, well there's M9 where Marco rolls a 2 instead of a 3 in snakes and ladders against Star; there's N61 where Dipper had darker hair; there's also A904, Mabel expresses her feelings to Victoria and the two start a beautiful romances; Or what about T38, where you never meet the Pines at all. There's a million and one possibilities, whether it's big or small changes, no two timelines are the same." He stated.
"And Ernest, the one I know, which timeline is he from?" Kyle went into his paperwork and pulled out a single sheet.
"Ernest Gaspard Morlaisse, the 17 year old boy who used Rick Sandchez's Portal gun, he is from P269. He has had a difficult childhood, I understand why he cares for Victoria so much."
"What do you mean you understand?" Pacifica asked.
"Well you see, the day of his birth, his mother passed away and his father left him with his grandmother after 3 days. He lived the first 15 years of his life within a house frozen in the 1930s, with only a frail grandmother to take care of him and her housemaid who wasn't much younger than her. But one day, at school, a new girl transferred in, it was none other than Victoire de Montadent. She completely changed his world, even though her way for showing that world wasn't always within Ernest's control, but he was happy this bulldozer introducing him to a universe of possibly just at his fingertips. And the two started the cutest little relationship that I've seen in a long time. Anyway, when he had found where his father was, he wanted to go after him. He asked his grandmother Precious and his girlfriend Victoria to go along with him. Both agreed to go, but after the plane crashed and he lost the two women he cared so much for, he couldn't accept it, he didn't want to. So when he was given the chance to go to a timeline were at least one of them were okay, he'd be happy. So you see now why Victoria means so much to him, it's literally because he has no one else, and she's the one who opened the fire within him." Kyle explained. Pacifica was stunned at how much Ernest had suffered through.
"I see... He has suffered way too much, I guess I understand why he doesn't want to lose Victoria." She replied.
"Wait a minute Kyle, you said you know everyone right?" She asked.
"Yeah why?"
"Does that mean you even the Star Butterfly in your picture? Do you know her? Oh sorry if I'm asking too many questions, I just find this whole multiple timelines interesting and I want to understand as much as possible." Kyle looked down at the photo on his desk, he held the picture up and looked at it was teary eyes.
"Don't worry. I don't mind answering your questions, I know how curious you are, but you got me there with that question. I never got to know my sister that well. Star Butterfly and Kyle Butterfly from U819 didn't get to grow up together that much, I had a job to do, which meant living outside the timelines forever. The Star you know, never had a brother nor a sister, but I see that she has a bombastic personality instead and she's learnt her magic faster than most Princesses." Kyle paused for a few seconds then snapped out of it.
"Anyway, I have something important to talk about with you Pacifica. You know who's taking Victoria right?"
"Yeah, I have an idea." She said as she looked down.
"You are more observant than Dipper, you need to help him. Although he is smart and powerful, he can't do this by himself. Pacifica, he needs you, whether he admits it or not."
"Wait, powerful? What the hell are you talking about? All he can do is sense where people are with an object of theres, just like a dog."
"Oh, he didn't say anything? You aren't a bit curious how a boy like him could beat a Mangon, run though a burning building and fight the prince of the underworld without combat powers. You're clearly a cleaver girl, you know the math adds up." He explained.
"Well, the first two, okay sure he has powers of some sort, but fighting the Prince of the underworld? What the hell are you talking about? You think Pines would have kept that a secret? He would have gloated about it the second he was finished."
"Oops, spoiler alert. Sorry, when he comes to get you he'll tell you about it."
"Um...Kyle, you are a smart guy right? You wouldn't be behind the desk if you weren't, so let me ask you something. You are very powerful, why don't you use your power to fix everything?" Pacifica asked.
"Well, like your dear friend Dipper asked and as I explained to him, I can't interfere directly, it will cause a dimensional gap."
"And what's a Dimensional gap?" Kyle looks over at his grandfather clock and grins.
"Let's say it's the end of all timelines."
"But can't you fix timelines?" Pacifica asked.
"Good question, I can't. I can fix anomaly, I can't reseparate the timelines from merging without recreating completely new timelines that are completely wrong. Example, I could reseparate the timelines and end up with a timeline with 308 different Mabels. It will be catastrophic, so to make sure no one creates a Dimensional gap, the multiverse created a being that can seal Dimensional gaps. The power that I given has now taken over your Dipper's destiny. But of course, he needs to seal it quickly enough after it opens, if left unchecked for too long, even Dipper can't reseal it up without keeping his body intact." Kyle looks over at his grandfather clock.
"I'm sorry, I've been rambling and we've ran out of time for today, I have other business to take care of. But before you go, I shall gift you with somethings that will help you." Kyle said as he handed Pacifica a purple quill and ink.
"This is no ordinary quill and ink, if you write a name down with this quill, you can swap brains with the person. But it can online be used once. I'm sure you'll know the perfect time to use it." Pacifica replied with a nod.
"Alrighty, time to go." Kyle said as he snapped his fingers sending Pacifica back to Echo Creek. Kyle sits back in his chair and looks up at the ceiling.
"I hope he can pull through, ever single prediction from the higher ups say his chance of survival of sealing the Gap is only 15%. I'm sure he'll be fine, he is getting used to his powers in record time." He looks down back at the photo on his desk and loses his smile.
"Did I make the right choice choosing him this time? I just hope he doesn't fail like the one before."
As Pacifica regained conscious, she found herself on Marco's living room couch. Star and Marco were standing over head, watching as she started to sit up.
"Pacifica! Are you alright?" Star asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, just have a little headache. Could you get me some water?" Marco nodded and went to get her a glass of water.
"Hey Star, can I ask you something?" Pacifica asked.
"Sure, What does my bestie want?"
"Do you have a spell or something to look for Dipper?" She requested. Star nodded and looked down.
"I'm not super comfy using this spell, I have only used it twice, but I don't like how my body reacts to using it. But I'm only gonna do it for you." Star held her open hand out without her wand and chanted the spell, making the all seeing eye appear. Star and Pacifica were able to see Dipper and Ernest, they were heading to the Mystery Shack with a determined look on Dipper's face. Pacifica started to get teary eyed as she watched Dipper through Star's spell, she got up and pulled out the dimensional scissors.
"I guess you're gonna go see him now?" Marco asked with a glass of water in his hand. Pacifica wiped her tears away and smiled a little.
"Well yeah, that little retarded prick needs my help, and I will gladly help him out anyway I can." She replied.
"Best of luck to you then, I wish the best for you and Dipper. Come back whenever you want, you are welcome here at the Diaz's anytime." Marco said with a warm smile.
"Yeah! And I'll come see you in Gravity Falls to chat and gossip with you, I'm sure there'll be a lot to talk about. I'll miss you till then Pacifica!" Star exclaimed with joy.
"Thank you both of you, till we meet again." Pacifica said as she grabbed the Damascus steel blade, she then jumped through the porta. After she left, Marco drank the glass of water and sat down on the couch.
"How long do you think it'll take for them to finally get together?" He asked.
"I say within the next 24 hours!" She proposed.
"Really? Dipper doesn't have the balls." Marco replied.
"True, but Pacifica will force him into admitting it."
"You really have a lot of faith in Pacifica."
"And you have none in your brother Dipper." Star replied wittily.
"It's not that I don't have faith, I just don't think he'll admit it in the next 24 hours. Let's just let them sort themselves out."
"Sounds good, wanna go hunt some monsters in Fogbound forest in the Fog Dimension?" Star asks. Marco was looking off in the distance, he suddenly felt a chill. Star called out to Marco to snap him out of it.
"Yo Marco!" Marco looked around then looked at Star.
"Yeah? What's up?"
"Are you alright?" Marco replied with a nod.
"Okay then, I asked if you wanna hunt monsters in Fogbound forest?"
"Sure, it'll be fun."
Meanwhile, With Dipper and Ernest. The two just got to the Mystery Shack and find Mabel sitting in Stan's favourite chair, watching TV and eating burrito bites.
"Oh Dipper, you're back!" Mabel exclaimed.
"Yeah I am."
"I have a letter for you, it's from some guy named Kyle." She replied as she handed out a letter. Dipper grabbed the letter and began to think to himself. 'Are you shitting me? What does he want now?' He opens up the letter and reads the following:
Dear Dipper,
You need to find the last two pieces of the Pentagon, you already have Victoria's; Lucy's and Jackie's, but two more to go, I can tell you one of the pieces represent Star but she doesn't have it with her. Sadly though, the last piece only you can find, even I can't even find it. I'm telling you this because Gideon is almost ready to open his Dimensional Gap and create chaos, you need the weapon to stop him.
I also want to add that you have a time limit, once the Dimensional Gap is opened you only have about an hour to stop it before it merges the timelines into one timeline of pure chaos.
Stay on your toes. Kyle Victor Butterfly.
Dipper put the letter down, smiled a little and said to himself quietly:
"I guess I know what I need to do" He looked over at Ernest .
"Can I reply on you to do something for me?" Dipper asked.
"What do you need?" Dipper went into his bag and pulled out a small dagger.
"I know it's not the best weapon, but it's something, go ahead to take Gideon. Remember what we talked about, you need to fight when some other guy takes your girl." Ernest nodded and smiled.
"I'll try my best and I'll call if I need help." He said. Dipper smiled and chuckled.
"I'm sure Victoria will be over the moon to see you rushing in after her." Ernest took the dagger and left to go get Victoria. Dipper went to sat beside Mabel and watch TV with her.
"You aren't gonna help him?" Mabel asked.
"Not yet, I'm waiting for Pacifica."
"And how do you know she's coming?" And just then, there was a knock at the front door. Dipper grinned and pointed at the door, he got up and went to open the door, but as his hand touched the doorknob, he began to stress. He felt a pain in his gut, his body was frozen in place not letting him move. He wasn't scared of Pacifica, quite the opposite he was thrilled that she was there. He was able to overcome his stress and opened the door to be greeted by the blonde girl he had been waiting for. He didn't know what to do or what to say, his body just naturally reacted. Dipper got teary eyed, grabbed her and hugged her tight.
"I missed you so much and I'm sorry for what I said, I really need you, I'm lost without you." He said quietly. Pacifica was stunned to hear Dipper admit defeat and see him in such a state. She didn't know what to do, she just put her arms around him and held him close.
"It's okay, I missed you too." She replied also getting teary eyes. Dipper pulled back and kissed her cheek, it took him a second to react before turning bright red.
"Oh I'm sorry! I didn't know what I was doing!" He said to avoid her hitting him or insult him. But she didn't react, she just remained the same, she looked up at Dipper and smiled.
"You are such a retard, how are you such a dork?" She said while giggling a little.
"Hey P, I want to know something. How would you react if I told you that I have feelings for you? Not just normal feelings, they are strong, I don't know how to explain it, it's like I have thoughts about you, not weird thoughts! Just thoughts like how I want to be around you a lot or that I just want to spend a bit of time with you. I don't know if it makes sense, but I just really have strong feelings for you and I don't think they are gonna go away." Dipper explained feeling a bit awkward. Pacifica just smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Don't worry Pines, your feelings aren't one sided."
"Well what do you want to do about us then?" Dipper asked. Pacifica smiled.
"Whatever you want, we can try a relationship if you want?"
"Well I think you know I want to give this a shot." Pacifica lightly punched Dipper's shoulder.
"Same, as much as we are different, I think we can work very well." Dipper smiled and stood there awkwardly 'what am I supposed to do now? I have never gotten into a relationship with anyone before, what do I do? What do I do?' Pacifica could she how worried he was and gently patted his head.
"You worry too much Pines, think of a relationship just the same as being best friends with someone, the only difference is its okay to be a bit more intimate like kisses, hugs and so on." She explained.
"Alright, I guess that works for me. I'll try to be a little less worried."
"Oh, why not change the subject? So when are you gonna become Diana again?" Pacifica asked.
"I don't know and I hope God that I don't have to ever again!" She giggled in response and said:
"I know you disliked it, but I do kinda miss it, it was funny to see you like that."
"Yeah yeah." Dipper replied while rolling his eyes but still keeping a smile.
"Hey Pacifica, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah?"
"You never told about what happened between you and Elizabeth recently."
"Oh yeah that, while I got into a fight with her."
"Holy shit really!?" Dipper said in surprise.
"Yeah, she pissed me off and I got fed up with what she was saying."
"May I ask if you won?"
"Dipper! What the hell do you think?" She said angrily.
"Um, well I'm guessing you won." He quickly said with a bit of hesitation. Pacifica smiled a little and tilted her head up a little.
"Well of course I did, you really think I'd lose against a bitch like her? Anyway, why don't you tell me what I missed when I was gone. I'm sure you have something to tell me."
"Well I was really bummed when you left, but shortly after you left, some guy named Tom appeared and took me to the underworld to work on my powers. It was interesting, I had to fight him, it wasn't easy but it was fun honestly. After beating him, he vented about his problems and how he dated Star and such, then he tried to link it back to say that I shouldn't have anger outbursts. Then I came back and Ernest went off to save Victoria." Dipper explained.
"Wait, everything else can be put aside, Ernest is by himself!?" She asked.
"Yeah why? He's a smart boy with a portal gun and a dagger. He'll be fine."
"No he fucking won't, you sent him to his death! Remember we never finished our discussion of who could behind the kidnapping, let's just say Gideon did it. Do you think he can orchestrate the kidnapping and the burning of the Mystery Shack by himself? You need a powerful business man who knows about manipulation and also about all the things that have been going on with Ford, not just anyone. My Father."
"Your Father! How?" Dipper asked.
"Well I'm guessing he found my Grandfather's research that he was doing with Ford, it would explain a lot, how he knew about Ford's lab; how he could orchestrate everything from the comfort of his mansion and no one would suspect him." Pacifica explained.
"So we just sent Ernest to take on your dad who we just agreed has knowledge of my grand uncle's research? Shit we need to go after him. Grab your sword! Let's go!"
End of Chapter 18: Kyle
Hey Everyone, I hope you all enjoy the MEGA Chapter, it's just over 6'300 words which is the longest chapter posted so far! I would also like to share a quick update: I've been slowly working away on the last few chapters quietly so I can upload a bit more regularly. Thanks for being patient and Thank you all for reading, I hope to see you in Chapter 19: Elizabeth 2.
Some of you may be curious to why some chapters are gone and why some names of chapters are different, it's because I've cleaned up the chapters and fleshed them out with more info and some old chapters are fused together.
