A/N: It has been foreveer since I've updated this story and it has honestly been too long but don't worry, I have still been typing this story. I have a few chapters and I had to go through and make sure that they're still up to par with my typing level. With that, there's obviously going to be mistakes, so, if you find any, I'm sorry. Anyway, here is the latest chapter. Enjoy! :D

"This day cannot get any worse." James mumbled and I shook my head at him.

"You know that's bad luck and its worse to say that on your last stop of the tour." He was a thousand percent correct but the fact that he said those words made me hyper aware of everything that could get worse. I decided to keep my paranoia to myself as we walked through the airport. Yes, an airport. In public. Fast. James had on shades and I have on the ones he insisted I wear. His phone was going off by the second and he made a disgruntled noise every time it vibrated. We were currently rushing to get to our second flight and praying no one saw us, well more-so, him.

"You know this is all your fault." James mumbled and he didn't think I would hear him but I did.

"How is this my fault?" I asked him as I went through the events of the morning.

We packed up our clothes and made sure we had everything before we headed to the car that was going to take us to the airport. Someone must've leaked the flight information because the second we stepped outside, there were a million girls screaming and clawing at us. I tried to push through them and hold on to James but there was no way that it was going to happen. Hotel security showed up and kept the fans at bay until we reached the car.

That's when all hell broke loose.

One of the girls punched the security guards and he went down with ease. The other girls gasped before they realized they had a clear shot for the car. James screamed and I jumped into the car, closing the door. Well, I tried to but that same girl yanked the door open. It was terrifying but then she got tackled by another security officer. I closed the door but that didn't stop the other girls from throwing themselves at the car. I locked my door and when I turned to James, his door was being pulled open.

"James!" I screamed and he screamed as well, pulling on the door. I pulled with him and managed to close the door before the driver locked it. I thought we were safe but then the girls were crowding around the car. The paparazzi weren't helping the situation either by taking a million pictures while standing in front of the car. We were barely moving when it happened. I couldn't believe my eyes when the girls started climbing on the hood off the car.

"Kendall, I'm going to die." James said in horror as we watched them claw their way on. Some of the fans looked genuinely concerned about the ones who were going mad. Some were screaming how much they loved James and how they want to have his babies. Others were just flat out screaming. It really looked like something out of a horror movie. They were everywhere.

"They're on the roof!" James screamed and I looked up to see a girl screaming into the sun roof. She was trying to pry it open and I was worried that she might be able to do it. James took out his phone and he started recording.

"Um, so, I'm here in London and I love my London fans but…guys." James said before he turned the camera around to show the girls surrounding us. James angled the camera up to the girl who was trying to get through the sunroof before she managed to lift it up. James screamed as the girl reached out for him and ended up knocking his phone out of his hand. The driver managed to move forward slightly and the girl pulled her arm back as she jerked with the motion of the car. James picked up his phone and posted the video on Instagram. I reached up to close the sun roof when the girl screamed again and tried to grab at me.

"Stop it! Get off the fucking roof!" I yelled at her and she was so shocked at my voice that she just looked at us.

"Please!" James added and she screamed before she disappeared. I gasped in shock as the car jerked forward and the girl was falling off of the back of the car. Luckily, she fell into some other girls, so, she was safe. The driver pulled forward more and more before we were driving normally. I turned around and it was like a scene out of a zombie movie as the thousands of girls screamed while running after us. James sighed and leaned against me.

"Oh, I thought we were going to di-"

"I LOVE YOU JAMES!" A girl screamed as she clung to the side of the moving car.

James screamed and the driver slammed on the breaks. The girl yelped as she flew forward, crashing onto the ground. She stood up and the driver slammed on the gas, speeding away before she could grab on again. James wrapped his arms around me and clung to me. I could feel his body trembling in my hands as his grip tightened on my shirt. He was quiet until I started laughing. I don't know what it was and I know I should've been comforting him but something just took over. I couldn't hold my laughter in and he moved away and looked at me with suspicion.

"What's so funny?"

"This…the girls…I'm sorry." I managed to get out as I laughed.

"Kendall that was terrifying, what are you talking about?"

"It was, it was, but the way she slid off and then the girl on the roof!" I said before I started laughing again. I could tell he was fighting his laughter as I tried to stop mine. He successfully fought off his laughter and settled into his seat, putting on his seatbelt. He gestured for me to do the same before he started typing on his phone.

"I cannot believe that just happened." He said after a while of silence.

"Are you tweeting about it now?"

"Yes."

"There were paparazzi out there too so I'm sure it will be all over the internet soon."

"That was terrifying and you're just laughing."

"Don't worry, you'll laugh about it later." I told him and he rolled his eyes, looking out the window as he put on his shades.

By the time we had reached the airport, several things happened entirely too fast. We managed to get through the fans at the airport, who were luckily behind some type of guard railing. We made it through security, and now, we're walking through the airport to catch a public flight because we were left by the private plane for James.

Apparently they're on a tight schedule that needs to be stuck to, however, since James and I aren't on that plane, we need to catch the very next flight which is a public flight that isn't too long of a wait. Who the hell misses a private plane? How does a private plane take off without the person who the plane is for? This takes me back to how this is apparently my fault.

"This is your fault because you were supposed to be the one to wake me up in the morning early enough to not miss my flight." I couldn't believe the words that were coming out of his mouth.

"I did and if it weren't for your rabid pack of fans, we would've made it here on time. How the hell does a private plane leave the person it's assigned for, anyway?"

"I don't even know!"

"Look, let's just get to this plane and we can argue about whose fault it is once we get back on schedule." I told him and he shook his head before going silent.

We made it to our flight but it wasn't time for us to board the plane just yet which made James a nervous wreck. He looked like he was hiding from the government as he tried to find a seat that was away from everyone. He eventually sat down on the opposite side of one of the columns. He thought it was a good place but he failed to realize that there was a charging station behind it. I wasn't going to tell him that this is the perfect spot to be noticed. I sat down next to him and pulled out my phone. The first thing I noticed was the amount of missed calls that I had and then the litany of text messages that I had. They all were from Katie. I simply closed out the notifications and went to twitter.

"Don't ignore your sister." James whispered to me and I rolled my eyes.

"I can and I will."

"What if it's important?"

"What if it's just to talk about you?"

"Is that not important?" I turned to give him a look but I noticed that an older woman was coming over. James looked over and noticed her too before he turned to look at me. I shook my head as the woman walked up to the charger port and pulled out her phone. I stopped him before he could reject her to tell him that there's a charging station behind him. He waited until the woman took her seat before he turned to me.

"Switch seats with me."

"I'm sure it doesn't make a difference."

"What if the next person that comes up is a fan?"

"Then they will see you a seat over from the charging station."

"You're right. We have to board the plane early."

"That's not what I-" It was too late. He was already getting up to speak with the woman at the desk in front of our gate. I didn't even bother to go up there with him because I knew they were going to deny him. I sat back and tried to relax before I felt a nudge against my knee.

"Come on, she said we can go." James told me and I couldn't help but look at him in shock.

"Come on." He repeated and I stood up. The woman opened the door and James thanked her as we walked in. She nodded and waited until we were through before she closed the door.

"How did you do that?"

"I told her that it wasn't safe for me to be out there and she completely understood and she talked to some people and they let us on."

"Really?"

"Yeah and I bribed her with a picture."

"Your fans are-"

"Awesome." He said, turning to get on the plane.

"Oh, hello, welcome aboard." The stewardess said with a smile.

"Hello." James said as he headed to our seats. I nodded to the woman before we took our seats in first class.

"I really hope we have enough time to relax a little before I get to stage." He whispered with a smirk. My eyes widened at what he was implying and I just shook my head at him before people began to board the plane.

James' hope of relaxation was quickly off of the table as we arrived in Spain. As soon as we tuned on our phones, there were missed calls for both of us. As we exited the plane, James was on the phone with his mother and I was currently reading all of the text messages Katie was sending me. It went from her wondering what was going on to her freaking out over the videos James posted and then she sent me a bunch of news outlets about the incident like I wasn't there. Her last text was that I needed to call her the second we landed. I continued to follow James through the somewhat crowded airport, trying to make sure no one noticed him. He wasn't causing any commotion until he got a little louder when talking on the phone. That's when people start to look and I had to tap him but he wasn't paying attention.

We managed to make it to the front of the airport but so did a bunch of fans and reporters. James was asking his mother for directions on where to go and what to do and I could hear how angry she was. As we headed to the doors a bunch of people were waving and greeting James and I was focused on making sure he made it to the car alive.

We stepped outside and airport security was trying their best to keep everyone at bay while the paparazzi took pictures in front of us. I spotted the grey van and kept my eyes on it the entire time. The flashes from the camera was a bit blinding but I maintained my grip on James while he waved to his fans and followed. I opened the door to the van just as the fans began to outweigh the security.

James kept his head down while the paparazzi continued to try and take pictures of him and for a split second, I saw that some fans pushed through security. I jumped in the van and closed the door before locking it. I cringed as the fans collided with the paparazzi. All of them held their cameras high as the girls knocked on the glass. The driver pulled off and James sighed, leaning his head against the window. He pulled out his phone and I had a feeling he was going to tweet something, so, I grabbed his hand.

"They're passionate." I told him and he gave me a sarcastic look. He started typing and I just hoped that it was something nice because I could tell he was getting frustrated. The plane ride here was barely enjoyable since he was so worried about how much time he would have. Now that we're here, his mother is driving him up the wall and I honestly just want to hug him and tell him that everything will be okay. I would do that if he didn't look like he was about to explode. I went to twitter and saw that he tweeted that he's happy to be in the beautiful city of Barcelona. I had to suppress my chuckle, knowing how fake that tweet seems compared to his actual mood.

When we pulled up to the arena, he was mesmerized by the size of the place. It was absolutely huge and our driver informed us that it is the largest arena in Spain. Once the car stopped, I opened the door and we got out to see more security. I recognized one of the guys as the guy who stood out front of our door in Paris. I gave him a nod and he returned it as we made our way inside. James' wardrobe stylist, Lucy, was the first one to spot us in the hallway while she was steaming some clothes.

"Hey, what happened? I saw your post but-"

"It was a complete mess." James told her and she shook her head.

"Your mother has been more vicious than how she normally is."

"I'm not surprised." James said as he stepped into his dressing room. I expected Mrs. Diamond to be in the room but was pleasantly surprised to see that it was empty besides his clothes. James b-lined straight to the couch that was in the room and flopped on it.

"I'm going to take another nap so I won't be tired before the show."

"Have you eaten anything?" Lucy asked him and he shrugged.

"No, he hasn't." I told her.

"I'll eat when I wake up." He said as he tried to make himself comfortable. I looked to Lucy and she shook her head before she left the room.

"Please don't let my mom wake me up."

"I doubt I can stop her but okay." I told him as I sat down on the couch. He kicked off his shoes and put his feet on my lap, sighing.

"Last tour nap." He mumbled before he turned to the side, facing the back of the couch. I adjusted myself on the couch as well, slouching slightly and ended up joining him in a nap. When I woke up, I didn't feel the pressure of his legs on my lap and I knew he had gotten up. I opened my eyes to see James sitting in a chair in front of his bright mirror as Kelly went through her things. I closed my eyes again and relaxed back into the couch. James started humming a song and I was about to join him when I recognized the song but then Kelly started to speak.

"James, now that I've gotten you relatively to myself, we need to talk."

"About what?" James asked. It sounded like he had something in his mouth and I was happy he got something to eat.

"You and Kendall. I mean before he showed up, you looked like you were running on auto-pilot some days but now you just seem so…happy."

"He makes me happy." James told her and I couldn't suppress my smile at that. "I don't know how to explain it but when I'm with him, the pressure and all of that stuff just fades away. He makes me feel normal."

"I don't?" Kelly asked and I could tell by the sound of her voice that she was just joking.

"You know I love you, Kelly. It's just with Kendall…I don't know how to explain it."

"I mean he did know your two secrets before me."

"Let it go, please." He said before they both laughed.

"I'm glad you found someone, honestly. I'm also glad that someone isn't Camille because I could only take so much of that girl, especially when we were back in the states."

"Yeah."

"So, what are you two going to do once we go back?"

"I plan on avoiding her as much as possible."

"Not her. Kendall. I'm sure he misses his family."

"Oh, I never really thought about that." James said before someone came in the room. I took that as my moment to make it known that I was awake. I sat up and the second I did, Mrs. Diamond was shaking her head at me.

"While you were in here sleeping, all of the other security guards were doing their job." She snapped at me and I was taken aback by how harsh she was to me.

"Mom!" James said, turning to look at her.

"What?!" She said, turning to him.

"Leave him alone, he didn't do anything wrong."

"He's been-"

"What do you want? Are you here to tell me I need to be getting dressed?" James asked her and it was evident that she was here for that specific reason. I was surprised that she turned back to the door before yelling at someone who came walking pass. I got up and closed the door behind her and James groaned.

"I'm sorry for that. I don't know what's going on with her."

"I'm used to it."

"You shouldn't be."

"I know but still." I said with a shrug as I walked up to him.

"You sleep well?" He asked me and I nodded before I kissed him on his cheek.

"What about you?"

"I literally slept for ten minutes before I had to get up for the meet and greet. I completely forgot about it but I didn't want to wake you because you looked so cute." He said, turning to me.

"But I'm supposed to protect you." I mumbled and he smiled.

"I'm going to throw up." Kelly said, rolling her eyes, making us both laugh. James got up and wrapped his arms around my waist. I put my arms on his shoulders and he smiled, laying his head on my chest.

"I have to be on stage soon." He mumbled.

"I heard."

"Good luck kiss?" He asked, looking up at me. I leaned down and just before our lips met, there was a banging on the door. He sighed and stepped out of my arms before going over to the door.

"It's time." Mrs. Diamond said and James just turned deadpan at me. I had to stop myself from laughing as he pushed open the door and walked out. This was definitely a much more calming backstage experience than when we were in London. I made my way out from backstage to the audience and I could see that his fans were all in their seats, waiting for him to come out. The second someone spotted me, they started waving. I waved back to them and I heard them squeal in delight.

Right after they did, the lights dimmed and the entire arena erupted in screams. I snuck my way around to the front barricade and found a chair nearby. A few fans noticed me but they were more focused on the fact that James was coming out soon. When James started to rise up from the middle of the stage, the crowd had to turn into the loudest thing I had ever heard.

"Barcelona!" James screamed and I realized that I am definitely be deaf by the end of the show.

Watching James sing to that one lucky fan was something that I loved to see him do. The whole moment is such a pure and sweet thing for him to do. For the girl, I knew that her whole life was made by this very moment and the atmosphere was completely different than the time James brought Camille on stage. Every fan in the building was singling along with James as he sung and once the song was over, James ran backstage. The lights dimmed and the girl was escorted off stage by the stagehands. The fans were screaming here and there as they spoke in Spanish. I didn't know what they were saying but I could hear the word Jackson and I knew they were wondering about the next song. When I felt the coolness of the smoke coming from on stage, I smiled, knowing that the fans were about to freak out.

As soon as Trust a Try started, I winced as the screams increased in volume. James came out and I had to scream a little myself because of how good he looked. When the chorus of the song hit, he was dancing so in sync with his background dancers that you wouldn't think this is the second time performing it. He hit the high notes in the song perfectly as he danced.

When they all came together for the group movement, I was out of my seat, cheering. The guitar player came up behind James and he was so into it, I couldn't help but be sucked into the moment. The final chorus had everyone in the building screaming and rocking out as James danced the hardest I've ever seen him dance. The song ended and James and his dancers stopped in their pose and, of course, the crowd went wild. I remembered the feeling of being backstage and I have to say, being in the crowd this time is much more entertaining. I knew James was probably out of breath as he put on his uncomfortable white pants for his last song. As his last song started, James came out in his all white outfit.

"Barcelona, can I be your boyfriend?" James asked before the band began to play his song Boyfriend. He was singing as he walked towards the crowd and as soon as he did his first choreographed move he fell to the ground. He clutched his calf and I immediately jumped up and pulled myself onto the stage. I ran over to him as his background dancers moved closer to him.

"My leg, it's-oh my god." He said, gripping it after he turned off his mic.

"Is it broken?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"I-Its throbbing." He said and I knew he was having a muscle spasm just by the way he was reacting. He looked at me in shock as I held his leg and began to massage it.

"I need to get offstage." He told me and I nodded before helping him off of the ground. His background dancers helped me lift him up and it was in that moment that I realized that the entire arena was silent. James hobbled over to the backstage curtain as I held him and the second we got through the curtain, the medical personnel were right there.

"It's just a muscle spasm." I told them and James groaned.

"It hurts like hell!"

"Everything is going to be okay James, we just need you to relax." The paramedic told him as he massaged James' leg.

"What happened?!" Mrs. Diamond said, pushing through some of the background dancers.

"I have to get back out there." James said as the crowd began to chant his name.

"What the hell happened?" Mrs. Diamond repeated before the emergency personnel spoke to her.

"Kendall, help me up. I need to go back out there." James said to me while everyone was listening to the man.

"Can you walk?" I asked him and he flexed his leg.

"Yeah, I think so." I helped him stand and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. We turned back to the stage and I hurried to get him back out there before anyone noticed.

"James, where are you going?!" Mrs. Diamond said and James increased his grip he had on my shoulder. I kept walking with him and he gestured to his mic in the middle of the stage. I felt another hand on my shoulder and it was one of James' background dancers. He smiled at me before going to get James' mic. The crowd burst into cheers as I walked to the middle of the stage. James was handed the mic and the band began to play again and James smiled at me as he started to sing. For a moment, I thought he was going to sing to me but he turned to the crowd.

When I turned and looked at the crowd, it was nothing but a bunch of lights in the crowd. I could see the faces of the people in the front row but that was about it. James was holding onto me but as the song went on, he started to move his leg little by little.

Once he was able to stand, I let him go and I could tell he was back to normal by the time he sung the bridge. I moved off stage but stayed in front of the curtains as I watched him sing the last bit of the song.

"Barcelona, thank you so much for all of the love! This has been an amazing tour and I am so happy that I concluded it in this beautiful city of yours. I appreciate you all coming out tonight. Te amo!" James said in the mic before he got into a group hug with his background dancers. The band continued to play as James made his way off stage, blowing kisses to the fans. I held the curtain open for him and when we stepped backstage, we were both faced with a glaring Mrs. Diamond.

I knew she was going to be mad but honestly, when is she not at this point?

A/N: I know its been so long and I shouldn't leave this chapter ending like this but if I didn't I wouldn't know how to end it and would've ended up with a way too long chapter. But don't worry, I will update again. Thank you so much for reading and continuing to stick with me! Reviews are much appreciated. :D
