Kendall Returns:
Kendall awoke from a good night's rest to hear her alarm going off. She went to tap the snooze. 'Just five more minutes…' she thought. She turned over and lazily opened her eyes to see when she could wake up next. However, shock overcame her when she saw the time.
"I'm going to be late!" She jolted up, trying to get quickly out of bed, but managed to fall out of it instead. 'Ow…' she thought. She quickly got up, shaking it off, heading to her closet and dresser drawers to find an outfit for the day. She chose some dark blue jeggings, a fade from white to pink high-low, long sleeve, v- neck shirt, her bra, and some socks that she always managed to miss-matched. Not that she minded. She quickly went to her bathroom to change and get ready, when she looked at herself, she wondered if she should wear any concealer make-up. The dark circles under her eyes decreased a little and the marks on her body would be covered by her clothes, though the ones not covered were so small that really no one could see them. She thought for a moment. She grabbed her concealer only to apply a light layer, when she glanced at herself she was satisfied that there was no blemish or dark circles. She put her clothes on, brushed her hair, teethe, then she did some other make-up consisting of eye-liner, eye shadow and mascara. She took a step back and looked at herself.
"I look…" She spoke quietly. 'Like you again.' The voice finished happy. Kendall smiled. She quickly went downstairs. "Linnie!" She called.
"Oh Kendall, you're up. I'm sorry I didn't wake you earlier, but I woke up late myself…" Her sister apologized, still trying to get ready. "I heard a sound upstairs, you ok?"
"Yeah fine…Do you think I can still catch the bus?" Kendall replied.
"I'm sorry hun, it left a little over ten minutes ago." Kendall looked down. "However, I have another idea." Her sister smiled. Linnie grabbed her car keys, now that she was finally done getting ready. "If we hurry I should be able to get you there before the bell rings." Kendall had a bright smile.
"You're the best Linnie!" She hugged her older sister.
"I know, now get your shoes on, grab your books and bag which are on the table and let's go." Kendall nodded, putting on her black converse and pea coat, placing some of her books in her bag then was out the door with Linnie.

I arrived at school, but I think we were still a few minutes late. I glanced at my sister.
"Hey, everything will be okay." She reassured me. "You're an amazing student who hasn't missed a beat, your assignments are all turned in and you're all up to date, you just go be that amazing girl, student and person I know you to be." She smiled. I hugged her, smiling back. "And don't worry, I'll make sure the principal knows you're not late and stuff, everything will be taken care of. You will be fine." I nodded. "Have an amazing day, okay Kendall." She kissed my forehead and hugged me tightly then nodded. I got out of the car heading onto campus. It felt so weird, almost like the first day of school, except different. This place… I can't even remember the last time I was here. I let out a breath heading towards Ms. Fitzpatrick's classroom. As I got closer I saw the door was open. My heart was pounding. I stopped short of the frame. I placed a hand on my chest. 'What if they don't want to see me… what if I make them mad or something by just showing up…maybe this wasn't such a good idea…' My heart was pounding harder now. I let out a shaky breath to calm down. Then the thoughts of them defending me and everything they always would say came to my mind. 'They…They're my friends…. I have to try…even if they are mad…. I want to be in their lives.' I let out another breath to calm myself before stepping forward. I didn't go into the classroom just yet, but I saw our teacher. My heart was still beating so fast.

Ms. Fitzpatrick was reading her book when something by the door caught her attention. She was about to get up to go and investigate until the figure slowly walked into view. She was shocked to say the least but a smile came across her face.
"Cutting it a bit close aren't we?" She asked. Suddenly all the students perked up. They had been mingling about. Some of them were standing, leaning against the walls, or desks, while others chose to sit and talk with their groups of friends. A few wondered who their teacher could have been talking to, while others just went back to their casual conversations. Ms. Fitzpatrick motioned her head, inviting the student to come in. She noticed that Kick's group went back to their idle chatter. She smiled a knowing smile. Kendall let out another breath then walked in.
"Sorry, I'm not going to lie, my alarm clock didn't do it's job this morning." She lightly laughed. The group immediately stopped talking, as did Ronaldo's, looking at her. Jackie standing up and Kick getting off the wall he was leaning against. "Hope I didn't interrupt." Ms. Fitzpatrick noticed the reactions in her peripheral view.
"Oh you didn't, class hasn't started just yet…" She began before the bell rang. "Now it has… however, I was planning to give the students time to study today." She laughed. "Guess I should give it now." She directed her focus to the class. "You have twenty-five minutes to talk and study with each other…. Don't waste it." She directed her attention to Kick's group. She went back to Kendall. "You can take your seat…and it's great to have you back dear." She gave Kendall a warm hug.
"It's good to be back." Kendall smiled into it.
"You have some friends just dying to see you." The teacher winked before going back to her desk.
"Thank- you." Kendall had to take a breath. 'It's been so long…' She felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to find Jackie there. "Jackie... I…I hope you can forgive…." She tried to speak but the girl gave her the warmest, tightest and lovingness hug ever that Kendall had to return it.
"Already forgiven." She whispered.
"I have missed you guys" Kendall hugged her tighter.
"Hey! We want to hug her too!" Nicolette and Loraina were wiping tears from their eyes. The two separated, Kendall giggled as the two walked over. Gunther gave her a big bear hug. The others gave loving hugs. Kyle twirled her around as he was so happy to have her back.
"You have no idea how much I've missed you guys." Kendall wiped a tear when she let go of Mouth.
"Trust us we missed you so much Kendall." Kick also hugged her as her cheeks flushed a bit. "More than you'll ever know." Jackie and Gunther both glanced at him with that one.
