Here is the next chapter. I hope you like it. Please read and review thanks love Hermione xxx

Hermione was now starting to feel much better. That first few weeks had been hell for her but now things seemed to be on an even keel. She still couldn't believe he'd done this to her and was slowly but surely being forced to see that not all adults were good and meant well. She realised Dumbledore hated not knowing things more than she did. He was that not only did he not know where Harry had been while they'd been at headquarters this summer but was furious beyond all reason he'd been safe. It proved he could take care of himself something Dumbledore obviously didn't want to face or allow him to know about himself. Hermione had asked her mother what kind of person would become gay. Her mother had said she too thought they were often interior decorators or fashionistas with careers in fashion or jewellery but did also say she could be wrong. That was when her father said he knew a gay couple who were both college professors and took things very seriously. He said you'd never know they were gay unless they elected to tell you about it beforehand.

This certainly opened everyone's eyes. At work Cornelius had been acting frankly very off for some time. Amelia had decided to confront him about it stunned when she saw all the howlers he was constantly receiving. It was truly shocking. She burned all of the howlers and told him to leave everything with her and that she would deal with it. He may have been a total idiot but no one deserved this. She went on the wizarding wireless and made a speech which came on in their rooms where Draco and Harry were chilling out studying. They both listened wondering what it would be about.

It has come to the attention of myself the head of the DMLE at the ministry of magic that our current minister Cornelius Fudge has been on the receiving end of a constant stream of howlers proclaiming that if he does not put an end to the marriage of Harry Potter and Draco Warrens they will not ever vote for him again. I wish to give this statement now that the next person to send a ridiculous howler like that will get an immediate stay in Azkaban Prison for a short time. The minister of magic is not responsible for the personal choices of his citizens even ones as important and Mr Warrens and Mr Potter.

Mr Potter in particular was not at any point obliged to tell anyone his own personal business and it is not his fault you all didn't know about it. Stop blaming him for things which are not his own fault. This ministry is a tolerant ministry and we don't care if you are gay, lesbian, bisexual or otherwise. My own niece Susan is a lesbian and due to marry her own partner in the summer and I couldn't be prouder of her. If you don't have time for gay people then I don't have time for you. If you have nothing nice to say then shut your mouth and take the sensible route. Harry Potter and Draco Warrens were desirable men there is no doubt about that but they were definitely not the only ones out there. This world is full of desirable men if you only look hard enough.

If I were you I would focus my attention on a good man of whichever blood pedigree you prefer whether that be pureblood, half blood or new blood. I would suggest either a light or neutral man but that is because nothing good comes from dark men. If you lie down in bed with a dog than you do catch flees. Don't say I didn't warn you. We need to be making smarter choices. Furthermore anyone who sends howlers or things of evil intent to those two men will face the full force of the law as well the force of their families. Do not forget these men come from pureblood powerful families. As Mr Warrens no longer associates himself with the very dark and corrupt Malfoy family he is to be considered light by all. He is not responsible for the actions of his old father and we are not to blame him for those actions either. Lucius Malfoy has acted alone without thought for anyone in his family or indeed how they may look because of them. I don't imagine his wife asked for any of this.

It is high time we started thinking of what truly matters in society. Blood status doesn't matter and how you choose to align yourself does. We need smarter youth who are able to form their own opinions. Even if they're not yours think about it and see that children will be the future of our world so if they wish to be neutral then that is their choice and we must not shun them for it. We in the ministry wish everyone to know we fully support pride and wish for everyone to have equal gay rights. If you do not feel you can support this then keep your opinions to yourself as we don't care and we don't wish to hear it so shut up. Inevitably there will be gaps as we can't know everything but we kindly ask those in those types of relationships to educate us. Even I myself have much to learn and I have the sense to admit as much. Our ministry is strong and will remain strong so long as we move with the times. If you don't move with the times the times move you and we wouldn't want that now would we? Have a safe evening and goodnight.

The radio crackled as the announcer thanked her for coming on the air. Harry and Draco were stunned the minister had been threatened about their relationship so much she'd needed to come on the radio publicly to protect him. That was an outrage all its own. Albus threw his mug of by now cold tea on the floor in rage as the speech ended. Now everyone would think they could be weird like Harry and then there'd be no more magical children. Harry had singlehandedly ruined their world now. No one would ever want kids and everything would go south. They'd all die out in a generation or two. They were condemning his good and almost perfect world to death. I mean once Voldemort was gone everything really could go back to normal again. They didn't need to continue this nonsense. He had written to a colleague in the ministry who had been able to inform him that a few muggle homes had the floo network installed but he didn't think Harry would live there. No he was definitely lording it up in some manor somewhere. Oh how wrong he really was. The minister had been outraged at Amelia's speech. He was most certainly not gay rights and he never would be he just wished to have more power. Now there was a chance he'd definitely be voted out of office sooner rather than later. Damn Potter to hell for all the trouble he was causing. Maybe he'd need to invite him to the ministry for a personal chat and maybe he could vouch for him being a great minister. That would sure to rake in the votes he thought with extreme glee as he sipped on his whiskey. Oh things were about to get so much better for him.
