Hey you guys I know I know I've kept you waiting so long and I'm sorry. Other than life and a bad case of writers block I just could not figure out where to go with this chapter and I would rather wait until the muse strikes then to force a chapter and not like it in the end.

So hopefully for most of us we are coming out of quarantine or at least still staying at home to stay safe and I hope everyone is ok.

In the last chapter Klaus locked Bella and the twins in her hideout in the closet and remember it also leads to the secret tunnels in case they need a quick escape.

In this chapter we find out how everything turns out and I will basically be shifting from view to view so it won't say exactly who's POV like I've done in other chapters you will be able to tell who's POV it's in though.

Also you guys know how I love to throw a few surprises in there every now and then so don't hate me I promise it all happens for a reason Happy early Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms reading this.

I sat down on the couch with the twins laying in the play pen next to me and to say I was anxious is an understatement. I hated being in here away from my family and loved ones not knowing what was going on and if everyone was ok. I didn't doubt that everyone knew what they were doing I was just worried that someone would get hurt and I didn't think I would forgive myself if one of my loved ones got hurt trying to protect me and my babies.

As I glanced in the play pen to look at the twins sleeping peacefully, I knew that in the end it would all be worth it just for us to live in peace. I just thought that it was funny because Nik always thought that it would be one of his many enemies to threaten or put our lives in danger and leave it to me and my past or someone I thought of as a sister that would betray me so badly. I knew it wasn't my fault I just felt responsible for trusting the wrong people.

As my family and I made our way outside my main concern was ending this as quickly as possible because I knew Bella would worry herself unnecessarily and blame herself if anything was to happen to any one of us. I also know Bella felt extremely guilty and blamed herself for Alice betraying her and no amount of telling her that it wasn't her fault would help.

I hoped that this would be an easy battle but all of my years of living I knew that sometimes things could always go wrong and I had too much to lose mainly the three humans that depended on me for their safety and I refused to let them down. Most of the hybrids were already in place to try and head off any attack to close to our home but like I said I know there is always room for error and I kept a few around the house along with the two in the room with Bella and the twins and they were under orders to not let Bella or the twins out of their sight.

I had already had a talk with my family and they assured me that if anything were to happen to me, they would care for Bella and the twins. I knew I didn't need to ask because they would have gladly done it anyways and I didn't want Bella to overhear that conversation and for it to upset her.

"Heads up you guys I see movement up ahead and its coming in quick get ready you guys." Jasper shouted at us and I immediately went into hybrid defense mode.

"One way or another this ends tonight with Alice Cullen ripped to pieces and burnt am I clear we don't stop until we have her." I shouted at my family and we all quickly split up to kill the incoming newborns while keeping our eyes out for Alice.

We were quickly killing the newborns off and still could not find Alice anywhere I didn't want to get too far from the house in case something happened and I needed to get back quickly but I also didn't want Alice anywhere near the house.

I looked over into the play pen as Shannon let out a loud wail and quickly moved to pick him up. It concerned me because he hardly cries and he cried as if he was hurt. I looked at Sidney who was sleeping peacefully.

"What's wrong?" I asked him while gently rocking him and decided to try and see if he was hungry. I was thankful that Nik had left two hybrids with us and even more grateful that they were respectful enough to turn around and give me some privacy while I fed Shannon although I believe it was more out of fear then respect. Even though I didn't care who witnessed me breastfeeding my kids I needed this moment with just me and my son.

I eventually got Shannon to calm down but decided to hold him a little while longer because holding him was helping ease some of my anxiety. I looked up when one of hybrid's phones rang and he quickly answered. I only caught a few words but not enough to make much sense and he looked back at me but it was the way that he looked at me that immediately set my nerves on edge.

"What is it what's wrong?" I asked him standing up and walking over to him while hold Shannon close.

They looked at each other debating on whether or not to tell me and I knew I would be able to get them to tell me by saying it would please me if they told me but I just needed to know what was wrong but I guess the look on my face was enough for them to decide to tell me.

"They got Alice but she told them she had some people that would finish her work if she couldn't. She knew she would die so she had a few other plans in place and Klaus and the others are just checking to make sure all loose ends are tied up but they don't know what she had planned because once they closed in on her after revealing that she walked into a fire to avoid them getting more information.

Bella, I promise you don't need to worry will not leave you or your kids side we want to protect you even if it means with our life. You have no idea how much Klaus has helped us and we know that it is because of you."

I smiled at him "well let's hope you guys won't have to die and that this will be over shortly."

"Jasper what the bloody hell just happened?" I asked all of us were still shocked to witness Alice Cullen end her own life.

"I don't know my best guess is that she knew she was going to die either way so why not die on her own terms. However, we do need to figure this out and figure it out quickly because her killing herself is also showing how sure of her plans she was."

"So, did any of you guys ever find out if Edward was working with her. It just seems strange that he would call one day and just stop calling that's not how he operates. The few times that Charlotte and I would visit it always got on his nerves that he could never really read our minds like he could others and he constantly tried but never got far." Peter, Jasper's friend that he called said and as I thought about it, it did make a little sense.

I made a quick call to the hybrids that were waiting with Bella to keep them updated and let them know that no matter what they were not to leave Bella or the kids alone for a moment.

"Peter, while I do agree with you, I don't think this is something Edward can pull off alone even with Alice help now that she is dead, he will need the help you and I both know he doesn't make a move without someone else help. He's a coward by nature so he would need someone that he could place the blame on or someone that will die instead of him we both know this." Jasper and Peter was discussing the different options of who Edward would have work with him while the rest of us continue to search the area.

I thought to myself of all the people who had something against Bella or myself and while the list was extremely long on my side it was only a few names on Bella's and one of those just basically killed herself off. So, I then tried to narrow it down to ones that we may have had in common and other then Alice and Edward the only other names that came to mind was Elena and Katerina.

No one has seen Katerina nearby but that didn't mean she wasn't working behind the scenes and Elena was just a human so I quickly crossed her off the list. Edward, could be working with a witch it was just too hard to try to figure this out and we knew we had to work quickly time was not with us because we didn't know what Alice had planned but whatever it was she knew without a doubt that her plan would succeed why else would she kill herself right?"

I felt a pain in my chest that I immediately knew was not my own but Bella's but then again it wasn't really pain as more of fear. She was scared and it was bad enough that I felt it so bad that it almost knocked me over and I'm a thousand-year-old vampire hybrid.

Elijah came over to me "Niklaus what is it what's wrong?"

"Bella something is wrong with Bella we have to get back to the house now something is happening."

We all raced back to the house to see that the front door was wide open and I knew we closed it and locked it so how is it open unless Bella or one of the hybrids came out but it wasn't any of their scents that I caught it was one that I was not expecting.

Time seemed to drag on forever as I waited for Nik or anyone of our family to come and let me know that everything was ok. I mean if Alice was gone then what was taking so long that was the main concern. I was still holding Shannon trying to stay calm but then he started wailing again while I was holding him and as I looked down the door to the room opened.

Without looking up I let out a breath of relief, "finally now look here baby boy it looks like everything is finally over and you can lay back in your own bed."

I heard what sounded like two-gun shots and heard two bodies drop and looked to see both the hybrids on the floor and looked up into a pair of eyes I never expected to see. "What are you doing here?"

I rushed up the stairs to the panic room and on my way up the stairs I heard Sidney crying and that made me rush even faster because Bella would never just let her cry especially if she was in the same room with her and I knew something was very wrong. As I made my way into the room, I saw the two hybrids on the floor and it looked like they had been shot with vervain darts to knock them out I quickly picked Sidney up from the playpen looking around for Bella and Shannon.

"It's ok princess I'm here, where is your mom huh?" I frantically searched the room knowing it was no use because I knew Bella was gone it was now just a matter of time of finding her and going to get answers. I can promise this one thing anyone who had anything to do with her kidnapping was going to die I may have changed and become a better man but now someone has taken my mate and my son and they had to die.

I know so cruel to leave you guys here but I do have an idea of how the next chapter will go so hopefully it won't take too long to get it together and post it.

Plus my computer was really acting up this chapter would have been up maybe two hours ago but I could not get my computer to work right I hope I don't need a new one this one is older so it may just be it's time to die hopefully I will be able to get my stories off before that happens though.

So, any ideas of who kidnapped Bella and I know most of you will guess but let's just say this person has help and from some of the most unexpected people so tell me your guesses.

You guys know how much I love reviews so be nice please. Keep in mind no matter how long it takes I will finish this story so don't doubt that. I just hate getting writers block and then real life but like I said I know where I want to go with this in the next chapter so hopefully if won't be too long of a wait for you guys.

Like I said before I hope you guys are remaining safe with everything going on and in case I don't get to update again before Mother's Day then I want to wish all of you beautiful wonderful mom's a Happy Mother's Day.
