George here I'm recovered yay. Full at 100% :u

I do not own Halo or Azur Lane

The breeze was calm. He couldn't feel anything but the breeze. It was relaxing and enjoyable, almost as it was sleep inducing. He looked up to the sky and could see it was white, everything around him was white. After walking for what felt hours he saw something that sent a chill to his spine...It was a Sakura tree, with leaves falling slowly almost in slow motion.

He could see someone bellow the tree, giving her back to him. She had long brown hair and foxy ears, she had tails like a fox. He can't remember seeing her before but her appearance was familiar. She was talking to two small girls one that almost resemble her own and another with white hair and tails. All looked familiar but he couldn't remember, he kept moving towards them. After a few seconds seconds she stopped her talk...

She stood up and turned to greet him. But he couldn't understand why she was being nice to him. He cannot remember them but felt hostility from the two girls. The taller one kept insisting that he should join them. That he didn't need to be afraid. Six didn't know why but her words and demeanor showed no ulterior motives.

So he ended his approach and sat in front of the taller fox-woman. She had a big warm smile on her face while the girls showed a bit of curiosity. "Ara, it seems they are interested in you Zenith."Six couldn't remember where he heard that name. But gave no indication of his puzzled memory. He nodded and relaxed. After all this place gave him so much relaxation than being asleep. He could stay here for a while...

Then is when it hit him. He didn't know what was but that deep relaxation make his memories come back. He now remember why those girls looked familiar. They are similar to the pair of fox women he fought during the attack of the base. But now they are little girls? This is confusing. He didn't know why he was seeing them like this. A physic attack to his mind? Perhaps something else...'

Giggles' the older fox girl was giggling. He didn't know why, but this changed from relaxing to uncertainty. "Ara. It seems you remember now. My sisters have encountered you before. That's why they are curious and warry about you." Her sisters. That's why she looked familiar to him. But why a sister of his enemies was in his mind. He couldn't tell..."It something beyond my comprehension too. But it seems what the Sirens did to you make us more alike than you even imagine." She ended up giggling again. he didn't know why but her giggles was enjoyable but creepy altogether. He wanted to retaliate her but he couldn't find the words.

She stopped giggling and stood again to get close to him. Her light violet eyes looking intensively to his own. To a person to get close to a Spartan meant he or she was a technician a high rank officer or a fellow Spartan. But they all were expected to the said Spartan but this Fox woman closed the distance between them without him noticing. She was fast, he didn't like it. Despite her rapid approach he didn't felt necessary to stop her. In fact her closeness felt good almost alluring.

Her face was so close to his that he could feel her warm breath on his face. She kept staring at him without saying a word. Her expressionless face could make others back off in fear but not Six. He stood his ground if this Fox woman thought she could intimidate a Spartan she was dead wrong. A few more seconds passed like this. Until he could see a warm smile starting to form on her face. He kept his poker face unfazed by the woman.

("This can go on as much as you want.") Six thought this was pointless. But again, her alluring presence was captivating.

"Ara. I guess I can't get through your stoicism. But don't worry. We'll see about that next time." She backed off and sat again between her sisters. She kept smiling and put her arms in a position that allowed her sisters to wrap their own arms on her. Embracing her in a warm hug.

Six continued to analyze this. It didn't make sense why he was seeing this. It was relaxing but awkward at the same time. He didn't know why but he wanted to join them in their cute an warm hug. He wanted to be near them, to feel them. He didn't remember his family doing this in fact he didn't remember his family at all. Still that emptiness in his heart was there. He felt it before when he saw families embrace each other before the Covenant ended their lives.

Yet these horrible memories didn't cut his need to join the Fox family. They were happy and they have each other. And Six... he didn't have anyone left. All his team died, most of his fellow Spartan brothers and sisters died. He barely remember his family. It was so long ago when the Covenant discovered his home that he doesn't remember the event...Perhaps he suppressed it. The answer could be more harmful than beneficial.

He was about to leave. But a few mutterings stopped his movement he turned to look at the girls and saw they were expecting him with open arms. ("They want me to join?") But, how? He was a Spartan. Spartans do not need nor seek attention or affection. Then why he felt that void in his heart itching he was getting anxious. His heart skipped a beat. He could do this and see what it happens? Perhaps will cam his anxiety. He was making his way forward but stopped when he felt something cold. The air became cold in a blink of an eye. He processed this but didn't give much attention and continued his advance but then he felt that cold air again. This time just on his face. It was cold and wet. Wet? Perhaps something splashed on the water? He looked down and saw they were in a small island with the tree the fox girls and him as the only things on it. How he didn't noticed this before? The relaxation distracted him perhaps? Did he walked on the water in the first place? The miniature island was surrounded with water. But not normal water it was whitish and he could touch with the palm of his hand and it couldn't pass trough it. Weird but expected."Ara. It seems our time already came to an end. Perhaps we'll see each other in person this time. Goodbye Zenith~." She smiled warmly at him. But the coldness was bearable. But, he couldn't see the source of the cold breeze. He was looking around to find the source to no avail. Until his saw the Fox woman again. Her eyes were glowing and suddenly he felt heavier, he kept staring at her but her eyes continued to glow. Subsequently everything became black...

Six shot his eyes open and draw his Magnum searching for targets. It was dark and the only illuminating light was the lunar one that passed trough the window. Said window was open letting the cold sea breeze enter his room. He remember now, he was in his new room. He fell asleep after the last meeting with the Admirals. He dismissed the maid, Belfast was it? She insisted in giving him a proper dinner before he should retire to his quarters. He didn't have much appetite and denied her request.

He slept in the bed with his armor on. It wasn't comfortable but he could bear it. He only took off his helmet and fell asleep, he didn't remember the time but his guess was at afternoon. He remembered the sunset sky and the posterior walk to his room. After that he doesn't remember exactly at what moment he give in to his tiredness.

What was the dream he had. It was so real. The sensation of being extremely relaxed was new to him. Now he felt angry with himself by allowing that sensation get into him. It felt great but relaxing and fratern with the "enemy" was something no soldier should do. Less a Spartan, a Spartan never lowers it's guard. Despite doing something a teenager would do, Six let that situation happen. He didn't regret it, besides when in a million years a Spartan would experience something like that?

He got off topic here. He needed to ponder and analyze this. He had a dream with friendly enemies in it, he felt relaxing beyond his imagination. Even after a victory against the Covenant to save a planet didn't felt that good compared to this. A physic attack? A mind device capable of connect minds to gain information? All of this sounded far fetched enough to make him dismiss everything and remember how he felt. And that Fox woman, he could stare into her eyes and never get tired of it...

He give in again and let the sound of the sea calm his agitated thoughts. He didn't felt tired now, but rest in his bed doing nothing was something it could get him grow anxious. Six pondered about his dream, and everything that happened in the last 3 days. If he were told that after his death on Reach he would end up in a world with anthropomorphic warships of old times. With Aliens that looked like weird girls with sea creatures features. He can even think that would make him laugh. But now living that same situation on his own. He bet if a god existed he would be laughing his ass off...

"What a way to start my second life." Six never believed in life before death. In fact he believed once you die it means the end. But now he can feel his indomitable resistance falter, even if it is a tiny bit.

His second chance? Since when he did have a chance? He never thought of his life as a chance. It was survival, to even think of his presence in this world as his second chance was something he didn't like it, but he didn't necessary disagree with it. He has a second chance to stop the Covenant and kill as many covies as he can. But now he's trapped in this world with no chance to get back in the near future.

Seeing there's no high rank officer of the UNSC or ONI to give him targets or objectives he has to set his own directives. Step one, set a strong foothold on this world, done. Step two would be to locate and rejoin the fight with the UNSC. But given his current state that's not possible at the moment. Step three find any settlement civilian or military and get info from the locals, also done. Step four gain access to enough resources to function properly, done as well. Step five determine if the Covenant has found the planet in that case Winter Contingency will be declared, luckily there's no sign of the Covenant. For now. Step Six Determine if the locals can be trusted and used them to get back to the UNSC, for Six civilians are annoying at best. The military on the other hand can be tolerated under certain circumstances, in process. Step Seven determine if the locals has any ties with the insurrectionists, in that case formulate a plan to make them dissappear altogether. Step Eight? He never needed to make a step eight in the few times he ended stranded behind enemy lines or in innie colonies. That step will be reserved for another day.

With his new objectives settled. Six started checking his equipment. His assault rifle was taken by the scientists the Admirals presented to him before the last meeting. He didn't like to give his guns to another person even soldier. But to a scientist from another organization, he would be martial courted if the UNSC ever get to know about this. But the situation was precarious, with no UNSC presence on the planet and an alliance formed with the locals. Giving his rifle for examination wasn't bad at all. At least he wasn't giving a MAC schematic.

When he was questioned about his Magnum he let them know that wasn't going to happen. Being allies was one thing, but being unarmed was another. He refuse any attempts of the scientists to gave them his Magnum for study.

That leave him with his last weapon, it was found after one of his walks with the Admirals around the base. The scientists already had it in study. With a quick question he learned that the CAWS also called M90 shotgun, was found in an island close to the Sakura Empire close to the location Six was found. After that he seemed reflexive, he didn't think twice after requesting the gun. To which the scientists were reluctant. He insisted with cohesive tactics. The scientists were muttering things about him after that but he didn't care. He have two guns left and his knife...

He placed his hand in his left shoulder. But he didn't find his knife. Where could it be? He tried to remember the last time he use it. It was after beating Bismarck... the tall woman with strange outfit and Dragon guns? He remember when he attacked her with his knife it should've been a clean attack but her Dragon rigging stopped the knife before it reached her throat. He didn't know how deep his knife went but it was deep enough to get stuck into the Dragon head-like.

So he has 2 guns. Terrific, he placed his shotgun close to the bed. Close enough if any intruder tried anything against him. His pistol close to his left hand so he could reach it before the shotgun. He thought of possible scenarios where he could use both weapons at the same time. Using the shotgun with one hand was a bad idea. But the sheer power of the M90 should be enough to make anything back off immediately after the shot if is not torn to shreds first.

He was about to return to sleep when the he sat on the bed he heard a crack and the bed collapsed for his weight. To another person this could be amusing but not to him. ("How it held together when I went to sleep. And now it just collapses?") Before getting up he turned to the side and saw a clock. It was 5:00 AM he has a meeting with the Admirals at 10:00 AM. It was about making a research of his physical condition. Of course they have some ulterior motive to do that. But he didn't care. It would take them years if not centuries to discover the full process to make a Spartan.

Besides it will be easier to do said research without his armor. It's been a long time since he took off his armor after a battle. Spartans do not take off their armor willingly because the MJOLNIR was a part of them and vice-versa. Taking off the armor meant that said armor was rendered useless after receiving critical or catastrophic damage. In both cases the Spartan was either dead or to the brink of death.

Taking off the MJOLNIR was possible with the right equipment and qualified technicians. But those are scarce if not impossible to find in the battlefield. Thus making the Spartans learn how to take off their armors without equipment or technicians. It was slow but possible, if a MJOLNIR needed dire repairs a Spartan could do it in 30 minutes if he or she already mastered the process. If he had the aid of a fellow Spartan it was even faster.

After taking off his armor Six breathed deeply. Taking off the armor always felt as being naked for a Spartan. And this time it wasn't the exception. He kept his bodysuit on because taking it off would not be necessary. He wanted to fully know the base. And what better than running around the base. It was better than trying to sleep in a collapsed bed of course.

George here. Wow chapter 13. Next chapter is being written by the time this chapter is posted. But I only have the first part made. I'm trying to figure what I want to show next. Yes I know this chapter is delayed but be aware that I just recovered from my sickness. I know is a cheap excuse but meh. If ye think I'm taking things slow that's right. I'm setting the precedent to the next part of the story. And I know some of you will notice that in the next chapters. George out, peace

PSDT. If ye get the reference of the shotgun, let me know. Cheeky George hehe. Hasta la próxima my fellow viewers :u
