After hearing what Ino had done, the girls started discussing the different things that needed to be done before Sakura moved in to KPA.
"Okay first thing first, Sakura you need a new wardrobe, something that says 'I am cool but at the same time I not a stuck-up jerk'." Ino explained as she eyed her best friend critcally.
"Hmmm, Sak leave the wardrobe style to me" Tenten stated.
"Hey, I wanted to do the wardrobe." Ino whined at Tenten's statement.
"NO pig, tenie is perfect to choose my wardrobe" Sakura added while pointingly looking at tenie.
"Fine but I get to do your hair, it's so long we have to get it cut" Ino added in a matter of fact tone.
"Okay, tenie does the wardrobe while you Ino gets to cut my hair." Sakura agreed feeling excited as plans begin to form.
"That's seems like a good plan, if there is anything you want me to do Sakura chan, just ask me" Hinata chirped in.
"Well, hina chan if you won't mind, how about after all this is done we do a test run to make sure people think I am a guy and not a girl." Sakura said.
"What do you want me to do then Sakura chan?" Hinata questioned.
" I'll let you know later, okay." Sakura replied.
"Okay, as you say." Hinata agreed.
"SO first stop SHOPPING, let's go we have lots to do and less time to do it all." Ino exclaimed grabbing the girls and dragging them out of the mansion. The girls agreed and got into her car and drove off to Konoha mall.
At the Mall
"Okay now we should split up tenie, you and Hinata will get me some new boy clothes just make sure it's not over the top while Ino and I will go get me a new haircut, we will meet here in an hour. Got it." Sakura explained.
"Yes mam" they all chorused.
"Well see you guys later" Ino said while grabbing Sakura and dragging her away.
"Come on hina chan, we should start as well. Let's just hope this whole plan doesn't backfire on us" Tenten stated.
"Hai, let's go. We should just hope for the best Tenten chan." Hinata replied.
Ino POV
'As I dragged Sakura away, I couldn't help but notice this guy from my peripheral vision, he looked stunning dressed in pair of black pants and a white polo shirt with a brown jacket tied around his waist. His hair was very funny; it was brown and tied up and spiky on the ends making it look like he had a pineapple on the top of his head. But all in all, he looked pretty handsome. He was slouched against the wall and most surprisingly it looked like he was asleep.'
'Is that guy for real, who can sleep like that in the middle of a mall' Ino thought.
'By the way those girls are watching and crowding him, I feel bad for him, what if one of them does something to him' Ino thought almost worriedly.
'Why the hell am I worrying about him, I have better things to do like making sure that Sakura looks handsome as a boy' Ino added to herself.
It wasn't long before I reached my hairdresser, now all I need to do is make sure none of the workers find out about our little plan.
"Alright Sakura listen up, this is important" Ino turned and faced her friend with her hands on her hips and No-nonsense air around her.
"Yeah, what is it?" Sakura asked at attention.
"The hairdressers here are very nosy so make sure not to tell them why you want to get so much of your hair cut, alright" Ino replied.
"Got it Boss, my lips are sealed." Sakura added with a mock salute.
Soon they entered Konoha Beauty Parlor; the place was bustling with customers. Soon Ino was able to spot her hairdresser among the sea of people.
"Mercedes, you hooo" Ino sang
"Ino love, what brought you here today?" Mercedes chimed.
Mercedes was a small plump woman with blonde hair with red highlights; her eyes were a dark brown, round face and a button nose. She was dressed in a pink apron which was customary for the hairdresser.
"So what you want done today, love" Mercedes questioned.
"Not me today dear, it's my friend I want you to work on" Ino answered while pointing at Sakura.
"Hmmm, I see what do you want me do" Mercedes said.
"She is looking for a new look and to do that we need you to cut her hair, she's a lot tomboyish so she wants something like that" Ino stated.
" love, her hair is so beautiful. cut it all?" Mercedes stuttered.
"I know what you mean, but it's her choice. If I could I would make sure to stop her, but she won't listen." Ino declared dramatically.
"I see, I guess I will do what you want of me. I'll make her love her new look." Mercedes finally agreed.
Sakura POV
'I just stood there as Ino talked to this lady named Mercedes. All I could do was stare at all the ladies inside, I had never thought I would do something like that; I loved my hair because my dad used to say it was beautiful even though many people made fun of it. I have never gotten my hair cut so much. But I had to do this, my mind was churning with thoughts, I was hardly listening to the conversation occurring between Ino and Mercedes before I knew it, I was being dragged by Mercedes and being shoved into a seat.
It wasn't long before I could hear the snip snip of the scissors and soon, I started seeing long locks of hair falling on the ground. As I watched half of my hair was gone and there was a small pang in my heart. It had taken so long for me to grow this. But this had to be done.
Soon afterwards Mercedes said she was done and finally allowed me to look at myself. What I saw made me speechless. My whole profile had changed, my heart shaped face was more prominent, and my chopped hair was the perfect length giving the boyish touch I needed, now all I had to do was dress in some jeans and shirt and I'll fit in perfectly. All in all, I looked perfect for my role as Hikaru Haruno.
"There, perfect if I say so myself." Mercedes declared with a triumphant look.
"It's perfect, just the way we wanted it." Ino said happily.
"Well, what do you think Sakura?" Ino questioned Sakura.
"It's amazing, thank you Mercedes, it's just the way I wanted" Sakura exclaimed excitedly.
Soon we paid the hairdresser for the wonderful job done and moved to meet up with Hinata and Tenten.
Tenten POV
We had gotten the clothes Sakura wanted, they were perfect; a bunch of shirts, few jeans and a few hoodies and a jacket. We even got her a pair of combat boots, knowing her she will probably be hyped up about wearing them.
We had finished shopping for the clothes and were waiting for Sakura and Ino to get back.
I started feely a little thirsty, so I told Hinata to stay there while a I get a bottle of water. She agreed and I decided to go to the vending machine to see if there is any water.
I went towards the vending machine and was able to spot a bottle of water, getting out a bill to place in the vending machine.
Just as I was about to place the bill, this girl with silky looking brown hair came to stop right in front of me and just jammed in a bill in the vending machine. This pissed me off.
'Who the hell she think she is, I was here first' Tenten fumed.
"Hey I was here first, wait your turn" I said while grabbing the girl from the back of her shirt and pulling her away.
The girl seemed completely taken back my attitude. What did she thought that I would let her walk all over me?
Even my friends know that I am quick to fight when people get ahead unfairly.
'Yeah right' I thought.
I just pressed the button to get a bottle of water while she just kept staring at me.
"What never seen somebody to do that, who do you think you are passing ahead of me. Well this is reality you ugly Slut" I yelled.
After getting the water bottle, I passed her and ended up handing my bill to her and walked away. I had taken a few steps before she spoke
"I am not a girl; I am a guy." He stated who I thought was a she.
I turned around immediately and took a good look; it turned out that it was a he and not a she. He was dressed in black jeans and white button up shirt. I guess it was the hair that tricked me.
I kept staring at him while he just looked at me with a raised brow.
He took a step towards me and before he could blink I scrammed out of there only thinking one thing.
'OH SHIT! I just made a fool out of me'
'I was just waiting there for the girls to arrive when I saw Tenten running towards me; she looked like she had seen a ghost. I wonder if she is okay' Hinata thought.
"You okay Tenten chan." Hinata asked Tenten.
"I am fine, just forget it" Tenten answered out of breath.
"Hey, is that Sakura, she looks cool" Tenten suddenly exclaimed.
"You're right" Hinata added looking closely.
"So what you think" Ino asked as she got near them.
"You look different in a nice way." Hinata said.
"But put these on and the disguise is complete." Tenten added as she handed a bag of clothes to her.
"Okay, I'll change now" Sakura stated.
Sakura walked off to the changing room in a shop while the rest waited outside.
"So, what do you girls think? Am I manly?" Sakura added jokingly.
"WOoo" the girls chorused.
"Man forehead, I would totally date you" Ino added.
"You look amazing Sakura chan." Hinata stated.
"You totally changed, it's hard to tell if you're a girl at all" Tenten commented.
"Well it seems the first phase of this plan is complete." Sakura added with a wide grin.
