Gabriel stands there not sure if he heard his son correctly so ask him to repeat what he had just said a little louder "What were you going to tell me that day that Felix came round with aunt Amalie?" his son responds at a normal level with a hint of sadness in his voice.
Gabriel looks to the portrait of his wife Emilie with a sad longing look as he walks Adrien into his office. they sit at his desk in silence as he thinks back to the day he was going to tell his son everything how he was hoping that he would be able to share the information about his secret life, sure he refused to tell him when he thought that he was dating Natalie how he thought that he could just forget the love of his life, but now he wants to know 'is he really ready for me to tell him' Gabriel thought to himself.
"father please tell me, I promise i won't cut you off this time" Adrian pleaded his eyes as if about to pop out staring Gabriel in the eyes. Gabriel then looks at his son with a stern look as if to stop him from making such a childish face "please, father, I'm ready to listen" he pleads.
Gabriel looks to his son who looks so much like Emelie with his green eyes and he remembers why he wanted to tell him so bad. to protect him from what was and is still to come, Ladybug may be the guardian now but hat does not change how much he wants his family to be safe.
Gabriel takes a deep breath and exhales " ok Adrian you want to know what I was going to say?" he questions. Adrian nods his head not wanting to speak in case his father changes his mind, then he says it, the one thing he wished to never hear his father say.
