"I'm sorry your right that was stupid of me" Ladybug whispered to herself "I never should have said such a thing" she berated herself. 'why can I never speak properly in front of you?' she took a deep breath and looked at her feet and twiddled with her fingers.
"No, it wasn't stupid, it's a reflex when somebody is going through something the automatic response is that it's ok, it just doesn't work in certain situations, like this one, like in cases of abuse, as you don't know what's going to happen, what you may see something as ok they may see it as a broken bridge that they have to cross only they don't have any powers to help them across like we do. " he explained sadly.
Ladybug then looked back at her partner with a mission written in her eyes "ok then, instead of promising that it's going to be ok I promise you that no matter what happens I'll be here for you when you need me." she announced "I am your partner after all and I'm sure your civilian friends will too, even if they don't know the full story." she finished putting her hands on her partners to draw him back to the present.
she then lay back with him and looked at the stars in the night sky "you can always visit him if you want" she said just a minute later "when he's in prison I mean, I know he is still your father nobody can change that, it is up to you on whether or not you want to visit him and if you want I can come with you, you know for moral support and I guess so I can also make sure he doesn't try anything. " she rambled, this made him smile a little bit, how much he loved it when she was like this, it reminded him of another girl he knew of.
she then sat up and helped her partner up resting his head against her shoulder so that when he gets up the blood that is rushing to his head doesn't make him so dizzy he falls off of the tower. "How can anyone look at you differently? your Adrien Agreste your the best person in the world so what makes you think you are going to to be looked at differently?"
taking a deep breath he lifted his head and looked at his lady and said "I don't want them to think of me as another Chloe, I don't want them to look at me think that I knew about him being hawkmoth since day one and that the only reason why he allowed me to go to school was so that I could spy on my classmates and report back to him on who would be the easiest to akumatize." tears were starting to prick at his eyes again as he spoke about what he feared would come to pass.
As she dried her partners' eyes she reassured him saying "I'm sure you have good friends who will stand up for you, after all, you appear to be the happiest person in the world, most of the time, and if your friends aren't there for you then they aren't your true friends, but from what I've heard you have great friends." She finished with a smile on her face.
" Thanks, Ladybug, not just for the talk but for always being there for me as well as letting me tell you who I really am not just behind the mask but behind the model" he smiled " you really are a lucky bug" he joked slightly.
