Aria: Phew that took a while to churn out. Thank you to eveyone who continued to read through that long stretch! I was having some serious writers block as I had planned this story out quite a while back and the person I am today is not the same as back then. I had to work through updating the mentality of the characters in the story and hopefull that comes through.
Either way, enough of my chitchat let's begin!
I don't own HP.
Chapter 27 – Trouble in Paradise

"Oh come on Rose, don't play dumb, it doesn't suit you."
Rose and Fie had a stare down for several seconds before Rose piped up, "You want to know what my problem is? Fine, but you and I have to take this outside."
The boys including Jack Dixson started to walk to the nearest exit out of the corridor.
"Not you boys, just Mya, fie and me," Rose rolled her eyes.
"Fine," Fie held her head high. "Wait for me in the usual spot," She said to Jack.
Once outside Rose was relieved to not be in the presence of that prick Jack Dixson.
"Now let's both stay calm," Mya tried to be the mediator, "Rose please tell us your reasons."
"Well he is a complete prick, who likes to be sexist towards women, he deliberately injured my teammate during Quidditch and so many other repulsive things about him. Last time I checked my best friend had higher standards than a walking Neanderthal!" Rose didn't hold back her anger or the raising of her voice.
"Well shit Rose, I didn't think my best friend was a judgemental, stuck up elitist bitch. You're my best friend your supposed to support me!" Fie raised her voice to match Rose's and it shocked both girls as she rarely yells, let alone aggressively.
"Yes, and I would if I didn't get bad vibes from him 24/7. Best friends are supposed to tell each other the truth and I have been doing that, but you don't listen!"
"I listen but that doesn't mean I have to believe you or change anything just because you don't like him. I love him, and I don't care if you think he's Voldemort I would still date him." By this time the boys were outside also but standing a distance away, fearing to go any closer.
Rose and Mya gasped, and Rose was wild with frustration. Why didn't she see it? I'm trying to help her! Why is she so stubborn? Why is it a boy that is coming between us?
"Fine! If that's the way you feel, then you can go become a Death-eater for all I care! Don't come crawling back to me when he breaks your heart!" Rose exclaimed turning her back to Fie.
Fie stormed off walking straight past the boys, who were standing quite perplexed, and Jack followed her without a word.
"Why couldn't you two just put aside your stupid pride and stubbornness and be friends and forgive each other. See what you two have done!" Mya shouted at Rose, she didn't mean to, but she felt so helpless, what else was there to do?
Rose was silent for a few moments before Rose couldn't keep up the act, she sunk to the ground and started crying. Mya immediately bent down beside Rose and rubbed her back. Scorpius and Al slowly approached the two girls with looks of concern. Mya whispered comforting things to Rose and only looked up when Al said, "Let's go back to the common room."
Mya nodded and convinced Rose to stand and follow them. Rose whipped away her tears and walked forward without a word, though she kept close to Mya.
When they arrived back at the common room Lily spotted the group of four and started to greet them before seeing Rose's puffy red face.
"What happened?"
"I'll explain, but first let's get Rose to sleep," Mya said as she led Rose upstairs. Rose was completely silent.
"Ok," Lily followed the two and left Al and Scorpius in the common room. There were a few people around doing homework that had stopped to see the drama unfold. It's a good thing that it's a Saturday, Al consider to himself.
"Ok everyone, as you were," Al announced, and people got back to what they had been previously doing.
"There's not much we can do is there?" Scorpius asked, he only meant to ask it in his head, but it had slipped out.
"No, not much at all, except, we can watch that stupid Dixon's movements and see if he really is the cause.
"I agree," came a new voice from behind them. They jumped and turned to see, Dom.
"Dom when did you get there?" Al's eyes were wide with surprise.
"A while ago, you two were blocking the entry way," Dom stated pointing at where they were standing.
The two boys jumped apart and she walked in sitting in one of the arm chairs. "Now all we need is a spy or two." Dom drummed her fingers on the arm of the chair.
"He's in Hufflepuff right?" Al asked taking a seat, followed by Scorpius.
"I believe so."
Who do we know that's in Hufflepuff? They collectively thought.
After several moments the door to the Gryffindor common room opened letting a certain blonde headed Hufflepuff twin.
"Hey, guys, has anyone seen Lily?" Lysander asked, ignorant of the events of the afternoon.
The group all looked at Lysander with wide eyes. "That's it!" Al exclaimed.
"I agree," Dom nodded approvingly.
"What?" Lysander took a step back confused and shocked at the outburst.
"Lysander?" Lily stood at the bottom of the stairs to the dorm rooms.
"Lil! Don't you think it would be a brilliant idea for Lysander here, to spy of the filth that Dixson is?" Al put his arm around Lysander who was about to object when Lily piped up.
"Actually…" Lily crossed her arms as her face wore a thoughtful expression, "that's not a bad plan."
Lysander stood silent for a minute considering how to refuse but he saw Lily's excitement and relief. He was weak when it came to refusing Lily anything she wanted. He had a crush on her since they were young and still did to this day. He had come up to the Gryffindor common room to ask her to be his girlfriend, again. But he decided that it would be good to impress her first and then ask after they finish this apparent revenge mission.
"I guess, I'll do it." He did his best to sound casual about it.
Lily lit up excitedly, "Thank you Ly!" Ly was the nickname they had come up with when they were kids and he hadn't heard it in a long time.
He blushed furiously, "No problem."
"So, it's settled." Dom announced finally adding to the conversation.

In the Girls Dorm room Rose had fallen asleep eventually after many tears. Mya had explained what had happened to Lily once Rose had fallen asleep.
Lily's response was, "Shit, what a mess."
Mya nodded. Lily was in disbelief that Fie had done and said such things. Fie had always been the one who was the mediator and preferred peace over fighting.
"I think that Dixson git changed her," Mya pursed her lips into a thin line, she looked grim.
"I see," Lily didn't know what else to say, "I'm going to leave her to sleep."
Mya nodded again and watched Lily leave. Mya was confused and angry that a boy had come between their friendship. It was clear that Fie wasn't alright and despite what most thought she could be strong willed when she wanted to be. She was pushing everyone away. Mya felt a sinking feeling in her stomach, she could help feeling completely useless to save Fie. What could she do? What should she do?
