Chat glanced down to the people below him. Watching as they drove home from work to the people that they loved. Watched as the people said goodbye to their loved ones as they travelled to work on night shifts all so they could feed, care and nurture their loved ones. Watched college students going out to parties dancing with their friends unaware of any trouble they may get themselves into before the night is over.
Chat watched as families sat down together to eat their meals and laugh together. Something, he never had. Sure. He occasionally had a 'family' meal with his father. That was different no laughing no joking just two cardboard cutouts set out for dinner. He watched as other families sat and watched movies together curled in blankets with a fire roaring as they ate homemade popcorn. Something, else he didn't really have.
He glanced over to the Agreste mansion. A place which housed a sick man, a sick man who was never there for his son. A sick man who forced emotional people who were already in a low state to do his bidding. A bidding which could destroy the whole world with a simple wish. A wish to bring back the love he lost.
Chat glanced to the windows of his room. Showing a world that his to make, so many and yet no freedom to be found.
He watched as the surveillance cameras scanned the area with beady eyes. Watching. Waiting. Waiting for somebody to make the wrong move. Looking for new victims to be caught in their trap.
Keeping an eye out for where the cameras are looking, Chat extended his baton into pole form and sprung to the ledge of his window. He searched his room, watching the shadows, waiting for somebody to jump out at him, shout at him, scare him or even steal away his freedom and take Plagg away from him. He searched for any cameras that may have been placed in his room since he left, nothing he was safe, for now.
Ever so slowly, Chat slipped through the window and landed silently onto his bedroom floor. He glanced at the door to be sure he was definitely alone, free from any intrusion. Then proceeded to go into the bathroom and closed the door.
"Plagg claws in," he whispered, at this, a bright green light filled the room as his cat ears, eyes, suit, bell and pole vanished and, his messy hair neatened out and went back to its original shade of blonde. Adrian then proceeded to slink down with his back against the door as he closed his eyes.
