knock, knock. At the sound of his bedroom door. Adrian opened the bathroom door ever so slightly and crept over to his bed, threw the covers over himself and closed his eyes.

Knock, knock.

Creek. A slender woman in a three-piece suit, glasses and hair slightly died short hair entered the room. She glanced over to the big bed, a small shivering lump hidden beneath the covers. She then removes the quilt from Adrian's face, his eyes clutched tight and cheek's red and puffy. 'Well, at least I don't need to wake him'.

Natalie glanced to the windows, knowing that she had closed them just before Adrian had spoken to his father about all of this, she let out a small gasp and looked to the child.

"you didn't run?" she questioned. Realizing she had said that out-loud she covered her mouth and looked to the child eyes gazing at her, eyebrows furrowed and his face in a slight frown with his face tilted to the side.

'HA! Of course, I did. I just have good friends who know that it would be smart for me to stay and spy on my father.' Adrian thought to himself, smirking inside 'Wait,'

"What do you mean, 'you didn't run?" he asked his fathers secretary, 'why would she have reason to suspect I would run, is she Mayura?' he thought to himself.

Silence. He sat there staring at her for a full minute until she said: "your father would like to speak to you!" in a manner which brooked no argument, so he followed her out of his room.
