Part 3 The First Job!

No One's POV...

After Team GKS got signed up as an expedition team, Wigglytuff gave them not only the usual equipment, but also a Blue Bow for Goku, a Zinc Band for Krillin, and a Green Bow for Sky, which they immediately put on. Chatot then led them to their room and they then went to sleep. And then the next morning, "UP AND AT EM! IT'S MORNING!" shouted a Pokémon whose name was Loudred.
"GAH!" said Goku, Krillin, and Sky all at once, having been woken up so suddenly.
"Why?!" asked Krillin.
"You scared me half to dead!" said Sky.
"What was that for?!" asked Goku.
"Well, you three are going to be late for the morning briefing. SO GET A MOVE ON AND GET OVER THERE RIGHT NOW!" shouted Loudred.
So they did just that.

Krillin's POV...

'So today's the day when we started helping Pokémon out. I'm so excited!' I thought to myself as me, Goku, and Sky took our place at the morning briefing.
"Attention! The Guildmaster would like to say something real quick. Guildmaster." said Chatot.
We then saw Guildmaster Wigglytuff, and he was sleeping with his eyes closed. I literally heard the other apprentices speak in awe for some reason. "Thank you Guildmaster, for your words of wisdom. Finally, let's not forget our morning cheer! All together now!" said Chatot.
"A ONE, A TWO, A ONE-TWO-THREE! ONE! DON'T SHIRK WORK! TWO! RUN AWAY AND PAY! THREE! SMILES GO FOR MILES!" said everyone except for Chatot, Goku, Krillin, Sky, and Guildmaster Wigglytuff.
"Okay Pokémon, get to work!" said Chatot.
"HOORAY!" said everyone.
And then they split up. But as Team GKS were about to leave, "Hey, you shouldn't just be wandering around there. You three come here." said Chatot as he went up the ladder and we followed suit.

Sky's POV...

Chatot decided to show us to a board. "You're just beginners. We'll have you start off with this assignment. This is the Job Bulletin Board. Pokémon from various regions post job requests here. You're aware that bad Pokémon are cropping up in greater numbers, right?" asked Chatot.
"Yup. Because the flow of time is getting messed up. It's wreaking havoc, right? Which is why lots of bad Pokémon are appearing!" said Krillin.
'The flow of time is getting messed up? Time? As in hours and minutes? Do they mean something has gone wrong with time here? And because of that, more and more bad Pokémon are popping up? What's going on here?!' I asked myself in my head.
"Precisely. Time getting out of whack has caused an outbreak of bad Pokémon. Perhaps because of all that... we have noticed an increase in the number of jobs. In addition... and it's unknown if this is because of time's influence... there has been a mass outbreak of... mystery dungeons." said Chatot.
"Mystery dungeons?!" asked Goku.
"So, Goku and Sky! You know how we got my Relic Fragment back yesterday? The place where we found it was a mystery dungeon. A mystery dungeon changes each time you go into it. There's a different layout and different items every time you enter! If you faint in the middle of a dungeon, you lose half of your money... you can even lose half your items or more... finally, you get kicked right out. They're very strange places. But every time you go inside one, there are always new things to discover! They really are fantastic places to go exploring!" said Krillin.
"Well! You're quite informed, aren't you! That makes things much easier for me to explain! Jobs all take place in mystery dungeons. So... let's look for a job that you should perform! Ah, yes. Maybe this one will do?" asked Chatot handing the paper to me.
"Oh, really? Let's read it!" said Goku.
"'Hello! My name is Spoink! An outlaw has run off with my most prized possession. My precious pearl! That pearl is life itself... to me! I just can't seem to settle down if that pearl isn't in its proper place atop my head! But I've heard my pearl has been sighted! It's said to be on a rocky bluff. But this bluff is reported to be extremely unsafe. I could never go somewhere so frightening! Please get my item back! Spoink.'" I finished reading.
"Why are we being item retrievers?!" asked Krillin.
"Don't worry Krillin. It's still an adventure!" said Goku.
"Your friend is right! Happy hunting!" said Chatot.
And so we left for Drenched Bluff.

Goku's POV...

'We're here!' I thought to myself.
"Alright, when we go in there we have to stick together." said Krillin.
"Of course no splitting up." said Sky.
"I'm with you guys all the way!" I told them.
And then I tripped on a rock. "Ow!" I said.
"Are you okay?" asked Krillin.
"Yeah I am. Huh?" I asked as I looked at the rock.
It was orange with four red stars on it. It looked familiar. "Hey this rock, it looks familiar." I said.
"Why don't you take it, then?" asked Sky.
"Okay." I said putting the rock in my Treasure Bag.

No One's POV...

They were successful. Spoink gave them a Zinc, Protein, Calcium, Iron, and 2000 Poké. But Chatot took 90%, leaving Team GKS with only 200 Poké. They then ate dinner, during which Goku surprised everyone with his huge appetite. And then they went to bed.

Goku's POV...

I saw something in my dream that night. "Huh? Where am I?" I asked to myself out loud.
Then I heard a voice. In fact the voice was mine! I then saw the rock that I picked up today was on a hat. Why a hat? I decided to listen to what I was saying. "It's a Dragon Ball, it's an heirloom from..." The me in the dream said but before I could say more the dream was ending.
"Wait no! Do not end dream! Ah, it's no use, I'm waking up." I told myself.
