Weiss pulled up in Car 5 to a vehicle accident with a reported engine compartment fire at a busy intersection. As she did, two police cars also pulled up. She stepped out of the car and radioed, "Car 5 to Fire Alarm."
"Car 5."
"The fire is spreading to the cab of the car! Tell all units to expedite!"
"10-4."
Weiss then ran to the car with a halligan bar in her hand with two police officers as the other two began to redirect traffic and shut down the intersection. She yelled to the driver and passenger in the front, "Get out!" She then knocked on the window hard before she realized both of them were unconscious before she tried the door handle, only to find out the door was locked. She turned to one of the police officers and said, "I'm gonna smash the windows!"
"Got it!" The police officer was then given a fire extinguisher by his fellow officer.
Weiss then smashed open the front passenger window before clearing out the glass. She then reached over the windowsill and unlocked the car before opening the door. Once she did, she dropped the halligan bar and took out a seat belt cutter she had on a keychain. She quickly ripped through the seat belt and undid it before grabbing the passenger with both of her arms and dragging him out of the car as a police officer did the same with the driver, which was made more difficult by the fact that the steering column was in the way.
Once the passenger was out of the car, Weiss yelled over to a police officer trying to put the fire out with an extinguisher, "Grab my medical bag in the car!" As the sirens of Engine 201 grew closer to the scene, Weiss noticed the man was bleeding profusely from the head and his mouth. "Well, that's not good."
The police officer then ran the medical bag over to Weiss as crowds watched the chaotic scene. She said to her, "The driver is beginning to wake up. How about the passenger?"
"No luck here," Weiss replied as she grabbed gauze and EMS dressing before she quickly began to cover over the driver's head wounds. She then quickly took out a oropharyngeal airway. She then did a jaw thrust on the patient before sticking the airway in.
As Weiss continued to work on the passenger, the crew of Engine 201 stepped off the truck. It had rolled with 13 people, of which 8 were interior firefighters, 7 of whom rode in the cab. 3 of the 7 came off the engine with their masks on and ready to go, including Penny, who pulled the nozzle of a hand line from the engine before stretching it out with two more firefighters. Once the line was fully stretched out, Lieutenant Ray, who was the third person stretching it, waved his right hand in the air in a circular motion to signal the driver of the engine, who was now on the pump panel, to charge the hose line. Once it filled with water, Penny said to George, "Hit it now?!"
"Yeah!" George, who did not have a mask on, then backed her up on the line as Penny nodded and hit the fire in the car, which had now spread to the cab in full. As they moved in on the car, two more firefighters, including Whitley, moved in on the car from the other side, knocking the fire down.
Then, they began to hit the magnesium in the steering column, causing white hot flames and sparks to fly. Penny called out, "Stay focused!" As they began to knock down the white hot fire with copious amounts of water, Penny stuck the nozzle right into the window of the car. "We should be all set here soon!"
Later that day, Weiss decided to "place herself out of service" at her house by opening up a bottle of expensive Dragonican Vodka by herself in her father's study room, which was now her's. She turned her pager off and began drinking from the bottle. Jaune was away on family business at the time.
As she took a third swig of vodka, she saw a familiar disfigured face appear before her desk. "Hey, Pyrrha."
Pyrrha's ghost, still mutilated from the accident that had claimed her life two years earlier, said to her, "Long time, no see, Schnee. How's Jaune?"
"He's wonderful," Weiss replied. "He's out on family business."
Suddenly, she heard another voice in the room. "That boy seems a little odd." Weiss immediately whipped her head around and saw the ghost of her father, Hermann, standing behind Pyrrha, who also looked at him in surprise.
Weiss' eyes teared up as she said, "Dad... Vater... I... I can see you..."
"I guess so," he replied. He spoke as if nothing was off. "You know, you're doing a damn good job filling in for Kirkland. Don't let anyone tell you you suck as a captain. If his ghost ever comes around, don't tell him this, but you put him to God damn shame."
"I... I won't," she replied as she wiped the tears from her face. "Heh... I shouldn't be crying, damn it."
"Yeah," he replied.
Weiss then finished the bottle with a fourth swig, thoroughly intoxicating her. She then sighed. "I haven't done this in a while since I've been so God damn busy with the firehouse and then the SDC. I don't know how the fuck you did it, or grandpa, or anyone before that."
"Honestly, I don't either," he replied as he grabbed a bottle of cheaper whiskey and poured himself a glass. He then poured another glass and handed it to Pyrrha, who downed it in one fell swoop. "Damn, that was fast."
"It keeps the physical pain at bay," she replied as she showed him her disfigured arm, which had a bone sticking out of it. "It also washes the dried blood in my mouth off."
Hermann then turned to his daughter. "You know, you can't just drink away your problems."
"Oh, great," Weiss replied as she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "I'm gonna get this talk? Look, I'm not an alcoholic, okay?" Her words were slurred from drinking. "I just had to pull two people out of a burning car. I deserve a fucking drink."
Then, both of the ghosts disappeared as Whitley walked in, asking her, "Weiss, what's going on? Who are you talking to?"
"Huh?" Weiss was startled by her younger brother. "Oh... Uh... Nothing... It's fine." She then threw the keys to Car 5 to Whitley. "If we get a call, drive my captain's car to the firehouse and tell the highest-ranking officer there to take it to the scene. I'll be out of service for a couple hours, at least 3."

As Weiss and Jaune laid in bed after sex, he said to her, "Say, have you been spacing out more recently, Weiss?"
The question surprised her. She thought to herself and replied with, "Well, I guess. I mean, I have been really busy with the firehouse and with the SDC, and with all this crap happening after the attacks in August." She then yawned as she pulled the covers over herself and Jaune. "I'm sure you've heard me wake up in the middle of the night a few times after bad nightmares I've had. I try to make sure you aren't disturbed because I don't wanna bother you with them."
"I won't be bothered," Jaune replied as she hugged Weiss. "Listen, if you have a nightmare or flashback like that, wake me up. I don't want you to face them alone." He then kissed Weiss. After they split, Jaune noticed he was getting aroused again.
Weiss looked down and blushed. "Are you seriously doing that again, even after what we just did?" She sighed. "We'll have to do it again, I suppose."
Jaune laughed and replied to her, "I suppose so."
Later that night, Weiss began to toss and turn slightly in her bed. In her mind, she began to have a flashback to the attacks.
Weiss stood alone, in her turnout gear, on a downtown city street near the Union Square Center. As people rushed towards her to get away from the site, she looked up and saw that Building 1 was coming down. She tried to yell out something, but could make no sounds as the dust cloud barreled towards her and the fleeing crowd. She then tried to move, but found that she could not move her legs. All she could do was look as the dust cloud hit her and coated the buildings and people around her. Then, a wave of flying debris flew right at them. Several metal pieces of rebar missed her, but struck a man next to her, killing him instantly and splattering his blood all over the pavement. Then, she saw that another piece of rebar was flying at her. Just as it hit her, she woke up.
Weiss then shot up in her bed, sweating profusely and breathing heavily. As her heartbeat finally began to slow down, she took several deep breaths and said to herself, "Damn it... Not that one again..." She then ignored Jaune's advice and went back to sleep as if nothing had happened, or at least attempted to go back to sleep.

"Huh," said the copilot aboard a Valeanian International Airways flight flying from Vale City to Mistral City as they flew above the rural landscape to the east of the city. "That's funny. We're still going up, but it's not responding to the joystick at all, Jane."
The captain of the flight replied back to him, "I noticed that too. I'll radio ATC about it." Then, as she began to key up her mic, she said, "Valeanian International 56 Heavy to Ruefield Control, we ar-" She then stopped herself. "Wait a minute... I don't think the radio is working, either. What the fuck?"
Suddenly, the plane pitched downwards, causing both of the pilots to jump in their seats in shock. The copilot shouted, "Holy shit! What the hell is happening?!" They both tried to move their joysticks around, but regardless of how they moved it, the plane refused to respond. Then, as the plane stabilized in altitude, it began to turn itself around and head back towards Vale City. "What the fuck is happening?!"
The captain screamed, "Does this damn thing have a mind of its own?!" Then, a message popped up on the plane's controller-pilot data link screen. It simply read, 'THE WHITE FANG IS IN CONTROL. DO NOT PANIC.' The captain replied, "How the fuck are they in control?!" She then began to type in a message to Ruefield County Airport Traffic Control. When she tried to send it, she got an error message in response. "Fuck!"
"If the White Fang is in control," the copilot replied. "Where are they gonna take us?" Then, they both felt the plane pick up in speed. "Oh no..." He then sent out a message over the plane INTERCOM, which still worked. "Attention all passengers, this is your copilot speaking. Please stay in your seats and fasten your seat belts at this time and remain calm. We have a bit of a problem right now, as it appears our plane has been hacked from the ground, and we have absolutely no control over it at this time. No matter what happens, we will do our best to keep all of you safe." He then sighed. "Fucking hell, Jane... How many minutes out are we from Vale?"
"About 15 minutes out at the current rate of speed we're going," the captain replied. "Mark, where do you think these guys are taking us?"
"Probably back to the airport," Mark replied as he yawned. "Probably gonna be some kind of hostage situation when we get there. Just hang on and stay safe, okay?"
"I'll try," Jane replied as she took her phone out. "I know I'm not supposed to call people on flights, but fuck it." She then dialed her husband's phone number. After he answered, she told him, "Honey, you might wanna sit down for this. Look, uhh... My flight just got hacked. No, not hijacked, HACKED, as in someone used a computer on the ground to hack into our flight control systems and fly it themselves. We think it's the White Fang, since there's a message on our CPDLC screen saying that they're "in control" or something."
As she continued, the copilot looked out at the sky ahead of them as he said to himself, "This will be a long day."
About 13 minutes later, the plane was now flying low over the city. Jane said to Mark, "We should have been approaching the airport by now. What the hell is going on?"
"Yeah," Mark replied as he looked out over the city. Then, something hit him. "Wait... What if they're not taking us as hostages?"
"What do you mean?" Jane was confused. "Why else would they..." Then, it hit her too. "Oh, fuck!"
They then both turned towards the front as they realized they were heading for Downtown Vale. "No fucking way," Mark said. "They're gonna ram us into a building!" Jane cried out in horror as she fully realized what was going to happen.
"I think I know what building it is!" Jane pointed to Union Square Center Building 1, which was dead ahead. "Please, God, save us!"
Mark screamed as the plane flew closer and closer. "Fuuuuuuuuck!"
Then, silence.
