The two girls stood staring down at the smaller boy "Girls, This is Haji. He will be your friend" He seemed to glare at the two "Sister isn't he adorable" The first girl grabbed the boy into her arms in a hug which caused him to blush and struggle to get out of her grasp. Joel placed his hand on her shoulder "Yuko maybe you shouldn't be so rash my dear" Saya grinned "Oh no let her show off that gigglemug of hers" Yuko gasped and released the boy and sharply turned "Are you telling me I smile to much, sister dear?!" The boy took a step back as the girls began arguing against eachother
After months of getting closer, Mai and Haji have grown closer. The three of them could be seen often playing games with eachother.
"Saya's been teaching you to play that instrument" She looked over at the boy quietly sitting on his bed "Yeah." She smilled and stood up, Grabbing the instrument sitting in the corner and offering it to the boy "Do you know any songs yet?" He blushed and looked up "No, I just started learning" "Well just play me any old tune. It doesnt have to be a song" He nodded and got into position, slowly brushing the bow against the cello as Yuko climbed onto his bed and leaned against the wall. "You'll be better then my silly sister in no time" She mumbled and glanced out the window, "You shouldnt talk like that about your sister Yuko" He stopped playing and looked over at her, Yuko
groaned as her hands ran through her hair "I cant help it Hagi! She's so stuck up and always wants to play princess with Joel, Meanwhile I never see Joel and he uses the servants to deal with me constantly and I don't have any friends. All of our maids are scared of me and run away. She's Joel's favorite because even when I win our duels Joel always comforts and cheers for her. I hate it" She watched as he sat the cello against the bed and crawled over to her, Surprising her with a hug, "Ill be your friend forever then, Yuko."
He quickly backed away when the door gently opened and a maid peered inside with a dreaded look.
"Its time to take your medicine"
He sat on his bed and watched as she rushed towards the door "Ill be back soon Hagi, Maybe we can play a game" She smiled and closed the door. Five minutes had passed when a loud bang came from the other room.
He gently opened his door and peered outside, "M-Mai?" once there was no response he walked down the stairs where there was a loud thud, He peered into the cracked door and let out a scream.
"H-Hagi?" Her purples eyes met the younger boys, A deep red poured from the end of her mouth and covered the front of her clothes. The lifeless maid's body fell to the ground as she teared up "You weren't suppose to see it, Hagi" She fell to her knees and looked at her blood covered hands in shame. He quickly ran back to his room and locked the door, Only to hear a quiet knock "Im sorry Hagi, It almost feels like I betrayed you for not telling wont have to see me anymore. Goodbye my new dearest friend" A few seconds passed before Hagi quickly opened the door, But nobody was there. A letter laid infront of his door.
