She opened her eyes revealing vibrant glowing eyes by the time she stood up
The Phantom had already thrown Haji into a stack of barrels and located Saya once again
through the hole she had thrown him though but his focus was cut short,
To their surprise Yuko stood infront of saya.
They both had a cold shiver run through them as he quickly stood back
"No! You cant interrupt this! She's mine Yuko!"
It was like a child talking back to its mother.
She easily jumped over the rubble giving him a cold stare
"Come on, Raise your hand since you feel like you can attack me"
He charged at her recklessly swiping his claws towards her face,
Only for her to grab that hand.
He growled and tried to swipe with the other,
The bystanders watched in horror as a small crater formed at their feet as she caught his other hand She slowly pushed him to his knees as she started to hover over him
She was quickly stopped by a bullet entering her shoulder blade causing her to release his hands and collasping to her knees holding her wound.
She glared at the blonde man holding the gun now focusing his attention on the fleeing chevalier.
The all turned to the kneeled girl as her eyes glowing eyes were replaced with a gentle purple color
before collapsing to the shattered floor below her Haji stared at the familiar girl beneath him before reaching to touch her "Haji! Leave her we have to go" David yelled as they ran after the fleeing chevalier.
She gripped her Rapier as she ventured away from her luxurious life
"Goodbye, Dearest sister of mine"
She sadly glimpsed back to her home before entering the forest and stumbling through until she found herself at a small clearing,
Sighing as she sat on the rock
"What am I to do? The look in his eyes.. They could never see me the same"
"What do you think your doing!?"
I quickly got up and walked towards the sound looking behind a large oak tree to see three men had surrounded a young boy "Look lad, We just want that sword of yours maybe that necklace too"
He boy glared at them and grabbed the aqua blue gemstone hanging off of his neck "Why do men like you feel the need to take from those younger then you"
I motioned for the boy to join me
"What does a young lady think she's gonna do about it?"
The men watched the boy run behind me,
I held out my rapier towards the leader
"Are you armed?" He grinned and lifted his bare hands
"Bringing a sword to a fist fight hey?"
I turned to the boy and gently handed him my rapier
"Hold this, Please" He quickly nodded and stepped back before I turned back to them.
"Are you going to run, Or are you going to let this young lady beat you and your goons up"
He growled and popped his knuckled before charging at me.
He's definitely a lot slower then amshel that's for sure.
I grabbed his fist and slid behind him before sharply turning and slamming my foot into his back quickly pinning him to the ground.
"Whoa! how'd you do that so fast?!" The boy seemed to be fascinated "He's heavy"
I smiled, Unfortunately the boy had distracted me from the other two.
I felt a hard tug on my hair and the sound of my skull against the ground
I quickly sat up with a sharp breath What was that?
I laid back down and stared at the ceiling It was like I was in a movie with that giant mansion and
with the little boy I wonder what happened to him?
I shook my head and got up, I looked around and realized that this was where I woke up before.
I opened the door to a familiar scene "Good morning"
The man had been sitting at the table like before
"Must you always dress me?"
I climbed into the chair infront of him as the blonde gave a gentle smile
"I figured you would sleep better"
He slid a glass of an unknown red liquid to me
"Doesn't change the fact that its creepy still. Anyway what is this?" I picked the glass up and gave it a swirl
"It will make you feel better trust me. Im sorry but Ill be gone for awhile so please just stay here until I get back. Ill explain everything to you when the time comes"
He reached across the table and placed his hand on my cheek
I pulled away and took a sip of the drink.
That feeling from before washed over me but this time it felt like
I was in control it felt like Velvet in my mouth I grabbed the cup and drank all of the liquid it was like everything that were blurred became clear,
Some memories included.
But somethings seemed to be locked behind this barrier.
"What is this?"
He stood up and started fixing his outfit
"Blood from an old friend of yours"
He game me one last smile before he opened the door
"Ill come get you in accouple days" and then he was gone.
I sat at the table thinking about all the things that seemed to be unlocked for me.
I could remember most of my school days but it was still so weird Different people,
Accents, Uniforms and even the teachers were different,
Almost everyday my hair had changed it just didn't add up.
I could clearly make out their faces now and one name stood out clearly to me, Anna Krill.
Her hair was the color of the sun and skin was like smooth milk.
Her brown eyes told you a million words and her smile would make most men fall to her knees.
We would eat lunch everyday together outside and we both went to the girls school.
I gasped and stood up running towards the door I couldn't even believe I could remember this but I remembered her old address!
I ran down the street and passed the old school, After five minutes of running I stopped infront of the house almost out of breath.
I quickly ran up to the door and knocked,
After accouple seconds an older version of my dearest childhood friend stared back at me
"Hello?" I immediately hugged her "Its been so long Anna! It almost feels like im in a dream"
She gasped and pushed me away "Who are you?" A little boys head peaked out from behind her "I think she wants gramma"
The women stepped aside revealing a shriveled old woman sitting in a rocking chair
"She hasn't spoken a word in years" I walked up to the old lady and placed my hand against her cheek
"Here you are old and wrinkled, This has to be a mistake"
Her eyes fully opened revealing those same brown eyes as I remembered
"..Mai?" She gave a gentle grin "Im.. dreaming.. its just as I remembered you"
Her shaky hands gripped my cheeks before she leaned back into her chair "I was.. So hot back them" She mumbled and closed her eyes
"Im sorry but can you leave now? My mom is obviously delusional"
I hadn't noticed before but her eyes were sky blue and she had freckles that her mother didn't "Sorry.."
I returned to the mansion confused and defeated.
It was easily a week later that I heard a knock on the door.
My hair was a mess and there was an extreme burning sensation in my throat I felt so thirsty..
No matter how much water I drank it just got worse.
I ran down the stairs and opened the door
"Well, I see that your awake now"
A black haired man smiled, He looked like somebody I had gone to school with but it was such a long time ago.
"Who.. are you?"
He laughed before hovering his hand over his own forearm,
It slowly transformed into a large dragon claw as he used his finger to easily slit across his wrist.
His eyes widened when I panicked and rushed into the kitchen desperately seeking bandages, I was suddenly pulled away and without warning blood rushed into my mouth
"W-What?"
"So Solomon hasn't told you yet?"
He lightly gripped my chin but the memories were flooding back too fast.
It was all a blur.
"You've been alive all these years, You go in that stupid cocoon every couple of years for such a long time.
I was hunting after you all this time providing Solomon and his stupid company blood just so you could finally remember What you did to me"
"Anna!" I ran over to her as she sat on a bench
"Mai, Where did you go?" I smiled and held up my lunch "Sorry Anna I forgot it at home"
I sat beside her and opened it up
"Did you see the new boy? He moved in next to me"
She blushed and continued eating "What?"
She looked at me with her mouth full
"nuffin" I pinched her cheek,
"Don't lie to me Anna! Do you like him?"
"I may have already asked him to come to my house tomorrow"
She nervously scratched her head with a laugh I gasped and smacked her on the arm
"Anna! How can you be so scandalous and with a new boy on the block!"
We both laughed and returned to eating our lunch,
Later that night she invited me to sleep over at her house in preparation for her date tomorrow.
"What dress should I wear?"
She held out one electric blue frilled and the other was a long midnight blue.
"Does it matter? Be honest he probably wont see you in it that long before you drain him"
She gasped "Mai! Don't be so dirty my mother might hear you!"
Within seconds you could hear a quiet bang on the wall
"Already done! Mai don't make me walk you to your parents house!"
I covered my mouth and Anna giggled loudly.
"Come on now lets get to bed. I have a very busy day tomorrow"
She put the dress away and jumped into her bed. "Goodnight Mai"
I opened my eyes and checked to see if Anna was asleep before standing up and opening her window.
I picked up the sword I slid under her bed and swiftly climbed out of the window
The roar seemed to echo throughout the streets as I felt my strength double,
My eyes shimmering a vibrant purple as I quickly ran to the location of the monster in the night.
I stood 10 feet away and readied my blade as I waited for it to spot me.
Its eyes turned red as it roared at me and charged towards me, It took some strength but I managed to cut its arm off before it stepped back.
"Damnit.." I mumbled as I heard another monster run behind me.
I spun around and managed to slice the monsters legs off but I suddenly felt a searing pain,
I looked down to see the claw of the monster behind me peeking through my stomach.
It picked me up and threw me to the sidewalk before it charged at me once again.
I took a shaking breath before standing with blood pooling out of my stomach and gripped tightly onto my sword.
I managed to slice the monster in half before falling to my knees
"D-Damnit.. I cant let her see me like this.
I have to go home.."
I gathered my strength and started walking home. I was 2 blocks away before I saw a figure running towards me
"Hey! Are you okay?! Ill call somebody!"
But the closer he got to me the more I felt myself Fading..
By the time I had snapped out of it the boy was laying there,
His eyes were dull as the blood slowly dripped from his neck. "N-No! No you cant die!"
My eyes teared up as I pulled the boy closer to me and used my sword to cut the palm of my hand and pushed it against his mouth
"Quick! Please just take it back, I don't want your blood! I don't want anybodys blood anymore! I was doing so well its been years
I cant kill somebody innocent again. No more!"
I could barely see the blood start to pour from his mouth until his body suddenly started jerking around. I panicked and ran.
"But, You were dead!"
He laughed
"Really? I didn't die because you made me into a chevalier. You ruined my life"
He glared at me as he reached into his jacket
"What is a chevalier?"
He paused and looked at me
"You.. You don't know any of this do you?" I shook my head
"Tch. Of course you don't. I wanted to kill you but you don't even know what you did"
His arms fell to his side before opening the door and leaving.
