After the ceremony Mizuki and Erika asked the Aya and Tatsuya if they wanted to go to the homeroom with them but they refused.
"Sorry but we have to meet up with our sister." Tatsuya said
"Sister… by chance would your sister be Miyuki Shiba, the representative of the incoming class?" Mizuki asked
"That's right. I am the oldest and followed by Tatsuya. Have you got siblings as well?" Aya asked curiously. She had become interested in the first people who had actually talked with her in school. Surely Mizuki's elemental sight could have caught her eye but as tempting as it was to see their full potential, it wouldn't be worth her sudden interest in them. Perhaps Erika's notorious background would be of interest to her if she didn't intensely dislike politics. Truth was she didn't have a reason to be interested in them and here she was willingly asking them about their family. Tatsuya was confused yet didn't want to spend any thoughts on her behavior. It wasn't worth his time.
Just before Tatsuya was about to politely leave, Miyuki came running towards her beloved brother and her sister. She had been excited to receive their praises ever since she held her speech and want to go to them immediately. However she was approached by many Course 1 students, be it other freshmen or her senior. They wanted to build a connection to her. After all she was quite beautiful and eloquent. More importantly she was the representative of the incoming class and therefore the top scorer of the entrance exam. Hence making her with high probability the next student council president.
They wanted to greet her and get to know her. Such a talented fellow student would surely become famous in the future and they didn't want to miss the chance of befriending her – be it because of their own ambition or their families'. However Miyuki would have none of it. She was quite polite to them but also quite dismissive. She truly didn't want to spend anymore time with them than she needed to. Not when she hadn't yet received the praises of her siblings. So the moment she caught a glance of her siblings, she decided to leave the crowd behind and join them.
"Onii-sama! Onee-sama! Sorry making you wait." She said when she was finally standing by their side as she had intended. She was slightly out of breath though that didn't stop her from bowing apologetically before giving them a refreshing smile. She was finally by their side. Home.
" No problem" Tatsuya said returning her smile and patting her head while Aya saw people following her sister. She noticed that they belonged to the Course 1 classes when she saw their uniforms. She further noticed their smiles turn into frowns when they noticed that Tatsuya and she didn't belong to the same Course as them. Their faces looked so displeased that Aya had to stop herself from making fun of them.
"What do you want from our dear sister?" Aya asked with her lips curled up slightly while trying hold her laughter. Like her younger brother Aya also cared very much for Miyuki. Though the reason and extend could never compare. She confronted the crowd with a smile. It was difficult to be rude towards a smile after all.
"How dare speak so rudely weed!" A guy said in response. Perhaps smiling wasn't the way to go after all. She didn't mind it much. However she didn't like the tone he was using when speaking to her. Did he not learn any manners at all? How rude. This school was in dire need of conversational classes.
Suddenly a black haired girl emerged from the crowd. It looked like the parting of the red sea really. When she walked through the crowd, they were making space for her. How nice it must be. She was quite beautiful Aya had to admit.
"Hello. I am the Student council president Mayumi Saegusa. We met before the ceremony remember?" The black haired girl introduced herself before she quickly went on to Miyuki with a good looking boy if he would just let that frown fall.
Just before they left her sight completely she said "All we did today was to introduce ourselves to her." While taking a look at Miyuki. She really came and went as she liked and looked quite elegant while doing so as well. Aya couldn't help but like that girl for that behavior.
When the Student Council left, Mizuki and Erika introduced themselves to Miyuki. Miyuki's mood fell when she saw the girls. Her brother had already made friends with girls. She knew that her brother was charming and so on but this was quicker than she expected. Now with him already having friends and not being in the same class as her, she won't be able to spend much time with him. Soon what was sadness became anger or rather annoyance.
"Brother are you already dating? I don't think Aya-neesama will like it." Miyuki said projecting her feelings on Aya when she quietly stood to her side. Aya knew that her two siblings were quite protective of each other. So she couldn't help but tease Miyuki a little.
"Miyuki just be honest and tell your onii-sama that he shouldn't leave you behind. That would do the trick you know." Aya whispered in her ear while Miyuki got red. Aya knew her buttons and could easily influence her mood in ways others couldn't not even Tatsuya. It made Miyuki feel uncomfortable and vulnerable before her sister. However all these feelings were nothing compared to the immense embarrassment she felt. Seeing her reaction Aya had a smug face before hugging Miyuki. Teasing Miyuki is just that enjoyable.
