Third Person POV

"Of course not Miyuki. These two are our classmates. Aya stop teasing Miyuki." Tatsuya demanded seeing Miyuki completely red. Aya teasing Miyuki was nothing new to him. He would tell her to stop afterwards but usually wouldn't stop it from happening. Unknowingly Miyuki would often be in a happier mood after being teased by Aya, so Tatsuya lets it happen. Anything that makes Miyuki happy or even happier was good.

"But don't you see how cute she is when she is embarrassed and all red? How she would look down a bit before showing me her pouting face? She is just too cute." Aya gashed about her sister's behavior when she was teased. It truly was a treat to one's eyes.

Tatsuya sighed helplessly knowing that there was no use in arguing with her. He had given up long ago knowing how stubborn Aya could be.

"Anyways Miyuki it's rude to assume things like that you know." Tatsuya turned to Miyuki who straightened her back at his reprimand. She didn't feel embarrassed anymore. Maybe a little happy. However she didn't like disappointing her brother, so she turned to Mizuki and Erika and bowed in apology.

"I am so sorry. It's so nice to meet you. I'm Miyuki Shiba." She introduced herself with all the grace of a lady she was raised to be smiling politely at them. Mizuki and Erika were in awe of her grace and quickly did the same.

Mizuki was the first to step forward and introduced herself "I'm Mizuki Shibata. Nice to meet you too." Followed by Erika "I'm Erika Chiba. You can call me Erika" They introduced themselves thus starting their acquaintance from anew. They seemed to have forgotten about Miyuki's previous attitude towards them.

As Erika and Miyuki were introducing themselves, Aya noticed a group of people behind Miyuki. They looked familiar. It was the Student Council again. She had believed that they've already left but that didn0t seem to be the case here.

"Miyuki, it seems that the Student Council still have something to discuss with you." She noted with a somewhat arrogant voice. She didn't mind the President. On the contrary, she actually liked her but the boy behind her just had such an ugly look that she couldn't bear to be polite to him in any way. She could only compromise and ignore him. However her bitterness flowed into her tone and made her sound quite arrogant.

"It's alright. We are finished. All we did today was introduce ourselves to her. Miyuki-san we will go into more detail another day. Tatsuya-san you too. Let's have a nice long talk in near future." The Student Council President said. Hadn't she said so before? The guy behind Mayumi was somehow angry because the President was speaking so politely to a weed. Before they left he quickly glared at Tatsuya and Aya. Tatsuya noticed and Aya just didn't seem to care about him.

"I'm sorry onii sama and onee sama. It's all my fault." Miyuki apologized for the guy's behavior towards them. She felt disgusted that someone like him would dare to treat her siblings like that. If only he would…

"Don't worry Miyuki, it wasn't your fault. There are just people like that. Just ignore them, that's the best way to deal with them." Aya stated with a straight face and sincere tone. She didn't seem to think much of it and seemed occupied by another thought.

"There's no need for you to apologize, Miyuki" Tatsuya said and patted Miyuki's head gently. He was clearly more present than Aya and spoke to Miyuki in gentle tone continuing to comfort her and assure her that she was not at fault. Soon he and Miyuki were in their own world.

"Does that happen often?" Erika elbowed Aya whispered to her. "Yep. It's pretty much common." She fell out of her daze and processed Erika's question directing her sight to her siblings and whispered back. Mizuki meanwhile turned red at the public display of affection by the siblings. Forgetting the very fact that they were actually siblings. Aya couldn't help but chuckle at seeing Mizuki blushing.

After enough time had passed, Aya reminded Tatsuya and Miyuki of being in public and needing to return home soon thereby disturbing their lovely atmosphere they were sharing. They said good bye to their new acquaintances and returned home.

After school at the Shiba residence

After they had returned from school, Miyuki got a call from her family. They were congratulating her for entering high school. Praising her for being the representative of the incoming class and wishing her much success for the school year. Meanwhile Tatsuya and Aya were each on their laptops doing their own things in the living room.

"Neh, neh otouto chan do you need any help?" Aya said after yawning and closing her laptop, offering Tatsuya her help. Programming and engineering was one of the few things they still did together. Aya felt proud about how independent her little brother had grown up to be. However couldn't help but offer her help wherever she could, there were after all only a few things she still bested her little brother. However even those he would soon surpass her at.

"No need I can finish on my own." He answered refusing to her offer. He hadn't encountered any difficulties thus didn't need her help.

"Can't be helped. I'm going to my room if you guys need anything. Don't overwork yourself." Aya said a little disheartened by his refusal. The feeling however didn't last long and she left only telling not overwork himself but she was ultimately ignored. The lack of response didn't surprise Aya.

Soon after she left, Miyuki came in. They crossed ways in the hallway wishing each other a good night. Aya often went to her room earlier than Tatsuya and Miyuki. Whatever she did in her room, they didn't know and hadn't tried to find out.

"I'm going to make some coffee now, okay?" She said while Tatsuya was still working on his laptop. Drinking Miyuki's coffee was one of the things Tatsuya looked forward to when they get home.

"Sure that would be great." He answered accepting her offer immediately. He continued working on his laptop.

"Miyuki" he said breaking the silence in the room while Miyuki was in the kitchen grinding coffee beans.

"Yes" She answered courtly with a gentle voice.

"Is something wrong?" He asked. He had noticed a shift in her mood when she entered the room.

"Just now I got a call from those people to congratulate me for starting high school they said." She answered without changing her previous tone and kept grinding the coffee beans. However the room was steadily getting colder.

"Oh you mean the old man and Sayuri?" He asked indifferently as if they were strangers.

"So … What about you and Aya-neesama? Did they…" She inquired although she knew the answer. She stopped grinding the coffee as she asked.

"No change there and I think it's the same with Aya." He responded neutrally as if it had nothing to do with him.

"Is that right? So they didn't even send you a single e-mail?" She was angry and froze the kitchen. Turning the room temperature cold. Before she knew Tatsuya was behind her and held her hand and the ice started to melt. He always knew how to calm her down.

He said gently, "Calm down"

"I'm sorry. I lost my head for a moment." She apologized in a more quiet voice than before. However calm she was, the anger she felt was still there.

"Instead of helping out with the company like Dad wanted me to, I blew him off and went on to high school with Aya following me. It doesn't piss me off if I take that as him counting on me." Tatsuya said gently calming Miyuki down. He honestly didn't care but if it could calm Miyuki down it was good.

"If you say so brother …" Miyuki said finally calm inside out and continued grinding the coffee beans.

Meanwhile in Aya's room

Her lights were off but the one on her nightstand. She sat cross legged on her floor meditating. She had to reflect on today's events. It seemed like she still hadn't controlled it yet.

She analyzed her body and the flow of energy inside her body. She needed to practice more. It would be embarrassing for her to lose control in a crucial moment. She couldn't let that happen. So practice it was.

She circulated the energy inside her several times thereby refining said energy after each round. It was time consuming but quite rewarding and relaxing in her opinion. She felt her muscles turning more energized and generally feeling her body getting stronger. She also felt herself getting a better grip of the energy. It became more manageable and controllable. However it would still take a while before she reached her desired level.

"Old hag, don't you think it's time to teach me more of your techniques?" She said referring to the second soul in her body.
