Before she even realises, Anna's crying. It starts out as a trickle, the first in a flood; soon the tears come harder until she's completely powerless. It's only the strength of Elsa that she's still standing. The pain of it rips at her insides. She grips Elsa harder.

The worst part isn't that pain. It's not the tears that won't ever seem to stop.

It's that she has no right to break, not like this.

It's that she needs to be strong.

It's that she's just a stupid kid.
