After Nocturne went back to Nightfall City to see her mom, Zee, Karen and Reine followed her to her home.
The reason why they're going is that Reine was starting to have an incredible headache and needs Nocturne to help her.
So, our heroines are on their way to Nightfall City to help find Reine a cure for her headache and figure out what's happening.
[Nightfall City] (Afternoon)
[Nightfall City - Nocturne's House]
Nocturne arrived at her house by via world gate and went inside her house to have a discussion with her mother.
While Nocturne was in the house already, Zee, Karen and Reine arrived at Nocturne's house as well.
Reine: Here we are, Nocturne's house in Nightfall City. Where I live is a few blocks down, but that doesn't matter.
Karen: Whoa, this place is amazing, it's like Nocturne's living in a city where dreams and wishes come true.
Zee: Huh, looks like I'm not the only one who lives in a luxurious place than this.
Reine: Girls, as much as I like to give out the grand tour of this city, we have a mission to do.
Karen: Reine's right, we need to help her, Zee. Her life is on the line.
Zee: I agree, let's head on over to Nocturne's residence home.
Zee, Karen and Reine went on over to Nocturne's house, while Nocturne was in her house, talking to her mom.
(Inside Nocturne's House)
Nocturne: Mom? Are you in here? Mom?
Nocturne's Mom: I'm in the living room, sweetheart.
Nocturne went to the living room and saw her mom with a special chest that contained Nocturne's necklace.
Nocturne: Mom! (Gives her mom a hug)
Nocturne's Mom: Nocturne! (Hugs her daughter back) How's Metropolis, so far?
Nocturne: So far, it was a good start for once, I enjoyed the School Festival and I got some good prizes I brought with me! (Gives her mom the prizes she and Reine won)
Nocturne's Mom: These prizes look very amazing, don't worry, I'll put them in your room for you for safe keeping.
Nocturne: Thanks, Mom. (Notices the box) Mom, why is the box here in the living room?
Nocturne's Mom: Oh yeah, I forgot. (Picks up the box from the table) That's why I called you here, there's something other than you're necklace.
Nocturne's mom opened a secret compartment that revealed five accessories hidden within the box.
The box contained a bracelet, a ring, a headband, earrings and another necklace.
Nocturne: These were in the box while my necklace was the only one that's shown?!
Nocturne's Mom: Yes, these accessories contain the wielders of your other selves.
Nocturne: Other selves? You mean the voice that I've been hearing?
Nocturne's Mom: Of course, I know you heard them while you obtained your keyblade at the park.
Nocturne: Whoa, I thought it was just me, but who have thought that my own mother knew about my secret.
Nocturne's Mom: I've heard them, after I gave you the necklace and now they must be reunited.
Nocturne: I see, but these accessories and the other necklace, they belong to my other selves, right? So, which one belongs to who?
Nocturne's Mom: The owner of your other selves will reveal themselves, when the right accessory glows bright like yours.
Nocturne: The brighter the accessory glows, the person will reveal herself.
Nocturne's Mom: Exactly, so if you can find the person with the exact same power as yours, you'll find your other self.
Nocturne: Got it, I'll head back to Metropolis to find the other selves and reunite with them and give them their powers.
Nocturne's Mom: Excellent, choose an accessory to take with you on your way back to Metropolis.
Nocturne: Got it! Now, which one shall I pick?
But when Nocturne was deciding on what accessory to take with her, Nocturne and her mom heard a knock on the door.
Nocturne's Mom: I'll get it. (Heads on over to the door)
Nocturne: You do that! Now, which one shall I choose? (Notice something was glowing, along with her necklace) Huh?
The accessory that was glowing was the other necklace and it was glowing like a star in the sky.
Nocturne: The other necklace, it's glowing. I think one of my other selves are here. But the question is where?
Nocturne's Mom: Nocturne, your friends are here to see you.
Nocturne: Friends? I don't remember having any friends coming here at my house.
The necklace was glowing brighter and brighter, Nocturne decided to take the necklace with her, just in case.
Nocturne realized that her "Friends" were actually the ones who came here with her.
Nocturne: Zee?! Karen?! What are you doing here?! Why did you follow me, all the way from Metropolis?!
Zee: Nocturne, sorry that we have to follow you. It's just that you're friend has an issue with her head.
Karen: Your friend is in pain right now, she's having quite the headache and it's not the ice cream that she ate.
Nocturne: Wait, Reine's here?! Where is she?!
Zee: She's with your mom. By the way, she's nice and gorgeous at the same time.
Nocturne: Thanks, but there's no time for chit-chat! Reine! (Went to see her mom with Reine)
Zee: Sometimes, she needs to chill out for a few minutes before taking action.
Nocturne went to the kitchen and saw her mom with Reine as she told her what happened.
Nocturne's Mom: Oh, I see. I think I know what's wrong with you, Reine.
Nocturne: Will Reine be alright, Mom?
Nocturne's Mom: She'll be fine, but there's something that I have to ask. What did you say to the Heartless before you engaged combat?
Nocturne: Showtime?
Reine: (Headache began when she heard "Showtime") Nocti! Why did you have to say that?
Nocturne's Mom: (A thought came to her mind) You're not in pain, Reine. Somehow, you're starting to remember.
Nocturne: Remember? What do you mean by that? (The other necklace's glow was growing like mad) Mom, the other necklace!
Nocturne's Mom: I knew it, the other necklace glows brighter when Reine is near it.
Reine: Necklace? You mean the one that's glowing very bright like Nocturne's necklace?
Nocturne: Yes. That other necklace contains the exact power as my necklace.
Reine: Looks like you're necklace is more than a good luck charm, it's a magic charm!
Zee: I knew these accessories are magic, they belong to the members of Cirque Du Lune!
Karen: Cirque Du Lune? What's that? Some sort of group I believe?
Zee: They're not just some group, Cirque Du Lune is a group of starlets that have special powers beyond imagination!
Nocturne's Mom: Powers beyond imagination? You mean like this? (Snaps her fingers and the entire house was glowing very bright)
Everyone shielded their eyes from the bright light surrounding them and the bright light shined throughout Nightfall City.
Just like that, Nocturne's entire house became very different and right before their very eyes, Nocturne's house was actually a hotel!
[Nightfall City - Hotel Lune - Penthouse]
Nocturne: (Shocked) What the heck just happened?
Nocturne's Mom: (Giggling) My sweet little princess, welcome to Hotel Lune!
Nocturne: Hotel Lune?!
Reine: Hotel Lune?
Karen: Hotel Lune?!
Zee: (With excitement) Hotel Lune!
Nocturne: Can someone tell me what it is before I completely lose it?!
Fantasia: Of course, my dear princess. (Her appearance changed into a ringleader's outfit) Hello, girls! It is I, Fantasia! Mistress of Cirque Du Lune!
Zee: (Gasp) I know you! You're the one who founded Cirque Du Lune and gathered your special sisters to entertain the crowd throughout Nightfall City!
Nocturne: Mom? What's going on here and why do you have that outfit on?
Fantasia: Dear Nocturne, it seems that you're memory is all fuzzy lately, but don't worry, I can help you with that.
Nocturne: Help me? Okay, I deserve an explanation of all this!
Karen: Zee, do you think there's something wrong with Nocturne?
Zee: There is, but we're going to help her with her memories and I think Fantasia knows how.
Fantasia: Everyone, to the Station Of Awakening!
Everyone was heading to the Station Of Awakening, where they can restore Nocturne's memories and awaken their powers.
[Station Of Awakening]
Nocturne: Whoa, this place is so amazing!
The Station Of Awakening is a pillar that's similar to the Dive to the Heart and it has the three wayfinders of the three guardians of light.
Karen: This place is a bit...dark.
Zee: I think I know why, Cirque Du Lune are known for their performances in the nighttime.
Fantasia: How impressive, Zee. Looks like you know everything about my troupe and how we perform.
Nocturne: Zee, I'm very impressed and shocked at the same time. How do you know about Cirque Du Lune and our performance?
Zee: Why isn't it obvious? (Changed into her magician's outfit with her magician's wand) I'm actually a magician myself! Plus, my daddy and I already met you before.
Nocturne: (Blushing) Zee, you're a magician and me meeting you and your dad. I don't remember that happened.
Zee: Well then, allow me to refresh your memory. (Casting a spell on Nocturne) Ekam Enrutcon rebmemer reh tsap!
Nocturne: (Felt the spell kicking in and starts having a headache) My head! What's happening?!
Zee: Just a little trick I like to call, "The Remembrance Spell". Now she'll remember everything from her past about her, me and basically everyone else.
Nocturne's eyes were glowing in magenta and black ripples and a magic sphere came deep within her heart, the sphere became her deck of playing cards.
Nocturne: Huh? My playing cards? How are my deck of cards related to Zee?
Zee: Hold on, Nocturne, may I look at those cards for a minute?
Nocturne: Um, sure. If you like. (Gives the deck of cards to Zee)
Zee: (Gives the cards a look, until she remembers something) These are the special cards that my daddy gave to your mom, Nocturne!
Nocturne: My mom got this kind of playing cards from Zee's dad?
Fantasia: Of course! Nocturne, these cards were given to me by my dear friend from my school days, Giovanni Zatara or John, which I call him.
Zee: Wait, you know my daddy, Miss Fantasia?
Fantasia: That's right, Zee. Before you were born, me and John were very good friends, performing in magic shows, watching stage play, everything.
Nocturne: Whoa, so you're saying that you've met John before me and Zee were born.
Fantasia: That's right and he even helped me propose to a special lady that I fell in love in my days.
Karen: Hold on, Miss Fantasia has a girlfriend?!
Fantasia: Correction, Miss Karen. She's my special wife now. (Blushing) But, she's nowhere to be found.
Reine: What?! Fantasia, you're gay?!
Fantasia: Mm-hmm. (She showed the girls her wedding ring as proof) This wedding ring resembles Mirage Split and my wife has Nightmare's End.
Zee: Now that you've mentioned it, I did met Nocturne at the wedding, when we were young.
Nocturne: We did? When?
Reine: Alright, alright! Can we save that for another time?! We get that the playing cards are from Zee's dad, but why did Nocturne's Mom, Fantasia, gave the cards to her.
Nocturne: I think I know why, so that I can be able to do some card tricks of my own and learn about what they mean.
Fantasia: That''s right, I got these as a wedding gift from John and now, they're yours to keep.
Nocturne: Mom, thank you. (The playing cards glow as Nocturne's necklace was glowing as well)
Nocturne's necklace began to fade away and became something different that took it's place around her neck.
Nocturne: Huh? (She felt something around her neck that made her choke a little) Is that...a choker?
Zee: So it's true. What Nocturne has on her neck wasn't a necklace after all, it was an illusion and what accessory does illusions than the Illusion Choker.
The Illusion Choker had Sora's Crown charm and around the charm has red and black colors for the fabric.
Zee: That choker...it says that this choker can make any illusion to confuse your enemies, hide from your enemies and make illusions to fight alongside you.
Fantasia: I see that you've acknowledge yourself on what it can do, Karen.
Zee: Well I did see the box description saying that it was "The Illusion Choker", instead of "The Regalia Necklace".
Karen: There was a description on the box? Looks like you can't judge a book by it's cover, huh?
Reine: (Starts to have a huge headache) My head's starting to have the biggest brain freeze ever!
Nocturne: (Takes out something from her school uniform pocket) The necklace! It's glowing brighter and brighter!
Fantasia: Nocturne, that's it! Give the necklace to Reine!
Nocturne: I got it! (Went to Reine) Reine! (Gives her the necklace) Take the necklace!
Reine: Why? Will it cure my headache if I put it on or will it make my headache even worse?!
Nocturne: No time for these kinds of explanations! Put on the necklace! (Puts her hand on her shoulder) You can do this.
Reine: Alright, I'll trust you on this. (Puts on the necklace and Reine's headache was gone) It is gone.
Nocturne: Are you okay, Reine?
Reine: Yeah, that headache was the worst headache since I ate that sundae back in Sweet Justice.
The necklace glowed in perfect sync when Reine was wearing it, as the necklace was shining very bright around her.
While the light was shining around her, she started spinning around and around.
Reine: (While being shrouded by the light and spinning) What is happening?!
Nocturne: I don't believe it, one of my selves was revealed right before my eyes.
Reine was being shrouded by the light very much that she was being sealed in a chrysalis.
Fantasia: This chrysalis, I know what that means! It's trying to revive one of Nocturne's other selves!
Zee: You're saying that Reine's in there? Changing into someone different?!
Karen: Wait. I know that chrysalis. It's a butterfly chrysalis and I think I know who likes butterflies.
Nocturne: Karen, how do you know about this? What's happening to Reine?
Karen: I've read about when caterpillars grow when they stop eating enough leaves, they hag upside down and spin around itself to form a chrysalis.
Zee: Oh my goodness. You mean that Reine was the butterfly all along?
Nocturne: And when I gave her the necklace, I helped her make the chrysalis for her?!
Karen: You're half right. When Nocturne gave Reine the necklace, the light shrouded her to her true self. Nocturne's other selves.
Nocturne: I don't think it's selves, I think what the voices mean is that I have...siblings.
Nocturne's Other Selves: Nocturne, Wielder Of Starlight, you've finally revealed one of the siblings and the sixth of us are actually five.
Nocturne: Five? What do you mean by five?
Nocturne's Other Selves: You'll find out soon enough, for now, awaken the sibling within the chrysalis! (Mirrors appeared)
The mirrors appeared again, but this time, they formed a hexagon around the pillar.
Nocturne: Oh. (Looked at one of the mirrors) So, the sixth mirror was me all along. I...was so blind. Even without the light.
Zee: Which means, there are six mirrors of the siblings and Nocturne was one of them? Which means. (Gasp) The one in the chrysalis would be.
Karen: Reine's Nocturne's sibling. But she does have a true name.
Fantasia: Nocturne, do you remember your sibling's name? If you're ready, bring her out to us.
Nocturne: You're right. I know what I have to do. (Faces the chrysalis) You can come back to us now. It's time to awaken, Aubade.
When Nocturne said Aubade, the chrysalis was starting to hatch and lights were coming out little by little.
Karen: It's starting to hatch! (Gasp) I remember! (Ran to the chrysalis) Aubade! You need to break through the chrysalis!
The chrysalis was wiggling very fast and the cracks were getting bigger and the lights were showing a lot, until it breaks!
Karen: Aubade! Can you hear me? Follow my voice, if you can hear me!
Aubade: Karen? Nocturne? Zee? Mommy? Is anyone here?
Fantasia: (Gasp) Aubade? Are you here, my little butterfly?
Aubade: Mommy, I'm right here!
Fantasia: Honey, I hear you. But I don't see you. Where are you?
Aubade: I told you, mommy. I'm right here.
Nocturne: Aubade, we know you're here. But we don't see you! Did you disappear or something?
Karen: Wait! I see her! It's just that, she's very smaller than you think.
Zee: She is? (Poofs up a magnifying glass with her wand and went down to the ground) Whoa. Um, girls? You might want to watch your step.
Karen: Did you find her? Let me see. (Borrows the magnifying glass from Zee and sees Aubade) Aubade!
Aubade was very small and she was wearing some sort of butterfly costume. She saw Karen as a giant, while being small.
Aubade: Karen! (Flew to Karen's hand) I've missed you, my queen.
Karen: Me too, my shining knight.
Nocturne/Zee: What?! You two know each other?!
Karen: Yes, I first met Aubade at Cirque Du Lune and she was known for using her butterfly suit to give out a spectacular light show.
Aubade: (While in a small form) That's because when I was known as "The Butterfly Knight" for lighting up everyone's hearts with my light.
Nocturne: Aubade, even though you're small, you could be a very good with helping out Karen.
Aubade: Why, thank you, Noctus.
Zee: Noctus? Don't you mean "Nocti"?
Aubade: That was when I was Reine, in my true self, I call Nocturne, "Noctus".
Karen: She even called me her queen when I met her, because bumblebees serve their queen bee. But since Aubade's a butterfly, I think she'll do just fine.
Fantasia: Well I'm proud of Aubade's return to us and now that we found one, there's four more siblings to go.
Nocturne's Other Selves: Well done, you found one of us and now you're making progress, but there's more adventures on the way, so don't digress.
The mirrors disappeared and something's going on with Nocturne's memories.
Nocturne: Huh? Is that my title? "The Joker's Wild"?
Zee: That may be the case. However, I think your title may also be an illusion as well. You mind use your Illusion Choker for this one?
Aubade: Of course, you can use your power to uncover these illusions and find out what the illusions really are.
Nocturne: If you say so. (Activates her Illusion Choker) Show me your true form!
The Illusion Choker illuminates at the title and reveals that it's not "The Joker's Wild", but it's actually "The Phantom Queen".
Nocturne: The Phantom Queen? What does this mean?
Zee: The Phantom Queen, of course! You can perform magic tricks and illusions while on stage!
Nocturne: Wait, what? I can perform magic tricks and illusions?
Zee: Nocturne, do you even know what my stage title is?!
Nocturne: I know you're stage title, Princess Of Prestidigitation.
Zee: (Blushing) It's an honor to meet you, my queen. (Takes a bow)
Nocturne: Same here, my princess. (Takes a bow as well)
Zee turned back to her everyday clothes from her magician's outfit and Nocturne has made a spectacular friend today.
Aubade used her suit to grow back to her original size as she hugged Karen in the process.
Karen: Aubade, you're back to normal size!
Aubade: It's thanks to you, Zee and Nocturne that help me get back to the world.
Everyone felt proud of Aubade's return back to Cirque Du Lune. But when things were calming down, this happened.
Fantasia: Now that that's done, shall we head back?
Everyone agreed and head on back to their world in Hotel Lune.
[Nightfall City - Hotel Lune - Penthouse] (Timeskip - Evening)
The girls arrived from a door that leads to the Station Of Awakening and Nocturne asked Zee a specific question.
Nocturne: Zee, did you see Cirque Du Lune as well?
Zee: Why, I did. When I was young, you did a spectacular magic trick hiding behind your special cards. The crowd was cheering for you, even your mom.
Nocturne: Really? Wow. Thanks for being there for me.
Zee: Even when you called me out as a volunteer for a magic trick of your own.
Nocturne: Aw, why thank you. Who would've thought I used to have a life of my own.
Karen: So Aubade, you chose me to be your volunteer to join the show with you?
Aubade: You in the show with me? (Thinking and remembered) I remember, I chose you to be in my special light show parade express!
Karen: The light show parade express?! It takes place on a train, but everything is parade related.
Aubade: Yeah, those were the good times. (Thinking about the train ride with Karen) I still remember you, because you gave me this.
Aubade took something out of her pocket in her everyday outfit and it was a special light-up yo-yo.
Karen: Hey, you still have that yo-yo I created for you.
Aubade: I never let it go, ever since you gave it to me.
Fantasia: All right ladies, as much as I like to have you all around, but I think you four better get ready for the Masquerade Ball tomorrow.
Nocturne: (Snaps her fingers as she remembered something important) The Masquerade Ball, I barely forgot when I came here! Thanks, Mom!
Everyone went outside of the penthouse and yes, there's a roof on top of the hotel. Nocturne used her keyblade to open a world gate back to Metropolis.
Fantasia: You girls stay safe! Nocturne and Aubade, watch out for the Heartless.
Nocturne/Aubade: Got it, Mom!
Fantasia: Zee and Karen, you help the girls out, no matter what.
Zee/Karen: Thanks, Fantasia.
Everyone went through the world gate as it disappears in front of Fantasia. She hopes that Nocturne finds the other siblings soon enough.
Fantasia: Good luck, girls.
[Metropolis - City - Sweet Justice] (Evening)
Everyone was safely back in Metropolis as they were back at Sweet Justice.
Nocturne: Oh, it looks like we're back at Sweet Justice.
Aubade: Ah. This is where I had the most delicious ice cream sundae ever tasted.
Zee: I can't believe I finally get to see Nightfall City with my own eyes and seeing Hotel Lune rise from the ashes.
Karen: Today was an interesting day, but there's just one problem. We need to get home quick! We don't want to be late for the ball tomorrow night!
Aubade: Don't worry, I'll help out. (Activates her necklace) My necklace will transport you to your homes in a blink of an eye.
Zee/Karen: Really?!
Aubade: Really, it's called "The Necklace Of Light". It allows me to use an attraction that's not just for show, but can be used for battle.
Nocturne: But she's using her necklace to send you girls home in a flash. Well Aubade, hit it!
Aubade summons a really long train and the girls hopped on and went throughout Metropolis in a flash.
First, they went to drop off Karen at her house and Zee conjured up a portal, so that Karen will go undetected.
Karen: Goodnight, girls. You too, Aubade.
Aubade: Rest well, my queen. See ya.
Then, they went to Zee's house, which was a large building, it's not larger than Hotel Lune. But hey, it's not that bad.
Zee: Well, it's been fun. I'll see you girls tomorrow night. Even you, my queen. (Winks at Nocturne)
Nocturne: I'll see you later at the ball as well, my princess.
Zee conjured up another portal and was transported to her bedroom undetected as well.
Finally, as they were about to head back to Sweet Justice. They realized something.
Aubade: Where are we going to sleep?!
Nocturne: I don't know, but we need to find our school group fast!
The girls searched everywhere in Metropolis, until they found their buses by a nearby hotel.
Nocturne/Aubade: Over there!
[Metropolis - City - Hotel]
They went as quickly as possible to hide behind the buses and went inside of the hotel, before the other students arrive.
Student #1: Hey, it's Nocturne and Reine! You're here early.
Student #2: When we last saw you, you were enjoying the festival.
Student #3: After the festival, we decided to hang out in the city and when it's nighttime, we meet up at the hotel.
Nocturne: Really? Well, me and Aubade had a wonderful, magical day here in Metropolis as well.
Aubade: You bet! We were pretty amazing practicing our dance moves for the ball tomorrow night.
Nocturne: I agree, now we're going to our hotel room. We're so exhausted and we must get ready for the ball.
Aubade: See ya at the party! (Gives them the peace sign)
The two sisters went to their hotel room to freshen up, get ready for bed and ready for the ball tomorrow night.
Nocturne: Aubade, tomorrow will be perfect.
Aubade: The Masquerade Ball will make our journey come true.
The two sister fell asleep in their beds, resting up for tomorrow's Masquerade Ball.
Looks like Nocturne found one of her siblings, Aubade, The Butterfly Knight!
Now, they're getting ready for the Masquerade Ball tomorrow night and the excitement's just around the corner.
But even things are cool and calm, there may be danger lurking in every corner.
Will the Heartless crash the Masquerade Ball? Can Nocturne and Aubade stop them before the darkness arrives?
Both these questions will be answered, as the journey continues!
