Authors Note: Hey everyone, here is the new chapter. This chapter well show the true origins of Paul so make sure to read an important Author's Note at the end of the chapter. Now without further ado here is chapter five for your reading pleasure.
Time Well Heal Your Heart
Chapter Five: The Truth
As I sit on the roof of the Clock Tower looking over the city, I also at times look at the note that was left in the box that I had found my Chrono Morpher in. In said note, my dad said that with this Morpher, I would find my destiny.
'Yeah but how am I suppose to find it if I don't even know where to look.' I thought to myself
"You know, Kimberly would kill you if she saw you up here." A voice called out
Slightly startled, I turned around towards the voice to see that it was Jen.
"Yeah and you're not going to tell her." I stated
"No, I won't." Jen assured me
She then came over and sat down next to me.
"So long as you tell me the reason why you're up here in the first place." Jen mentioned
"Just thinking on that note that was left with my Morpher in that box my dad left me." I explained
"What did it say?" Jen inquired
"Well, the main point to the note was my dad telling me that this Morpher would help me find my destiny." I revealed
I just sighed in frustration.
"But, I don't even know where to look or what to look for." I admitted to her
"You're looking too hard Paul." Jen stated
I just looked at her confused.
"What do you mean?" I questioned
"What I mean is that, you shouldn't look so hard as what you're looking for isn't that far." Jen explained to me
"No offense Jen, but that just confuses me even more then I all ready am." I told her
I then stand up and just stare out towards the city as Jen stands up as well.
"Paul, I know that you can't understand it now but you will one day." Jen told me
"I hope so Jen, I really need answers right now." I told her
Jen puts her hand on my shoulder giving it a gentle squeeze. I just sighed as I then suddenly hear something coming from the sky as I look up and then suddenly see something in the sky.
"Hey Jen, look." I stated pointing to the sky
Jen does so as we both see something fall from the sky as it crash lands somewhere in the woods just outside of town.
"What was that?" Jen wondered
"I don't know but we should check it out." I mentioned
"I agree." Jen agreed
I then looked over at her.
"Are the others back yet?" I inquired
"No, there still out doing their odd jobs." Jen informed me
"Well then, looks like it is just you and me." I told her
She nodded as I then raise my Morpher up towards me.
"TF Glider online." I called into the Morpher
Just then, the TF Glider showed up in front of us.
"TIME FOR, TIME FORCE!" We yelled out as we put both our arms out to the side, then cross them at the wrist in front of our chest, and flips the sides of our arms to their opposite facing positions, then we pull them back out, before bringing our left arm around to our right side, pushing the middle button
Suddenly, we then were morphed into the Pink and Gold Rangers. I then jump onto the Glider as does Jen.
"Okay Jen, hang on this is going to be bumpy and fast." I tell her
"Don't worry about me." Jen stated
'Sometimes I really do wonder if she is a direct descendant to Kimberly.' I thought to myself
I then lean forward making the glider move fast towards the woods where whatever that was earlier landed. A few moments later, we enter the woods as we begin looking around the area to try and spot it.
"Do you see it?" I inquired
"Not yet." Jen admitted
We both look around some more when I happen to see what appears to be a small bit of smoke coming from the ground as I look down and see a small crater down there.
"I see something, I'm taking us down to it." I pointed out
Jen look down towards where it was as I then take us down there. Once we were close to the ground, the two of us then jumped off of the Glider and land on the ground as the TF Glider then flies away. The two of us then slowly approaches it to get a good look at it. As we get closer, we discover that it is a spaceship within the crater.
"Looks like a spaceship." I stated
"Yeah but better question is, whoever or whatever is in there friendly or not." Jen mentioned
"Yeah I know." I agreed
Just then, we see the hatch of the spaceship open up and out walks a robot with a red chest plate with a yellow lightning bolt in the center. of its chest. It's head is also shaped like a saucer with a red bar in the center of it.
"Whoa, that was sure a rough landing." The robot stated
The robot then looks towards Jen and I.
"Ayi, yi, yi! Power Rangers." The robot cried out
Jen and I just look at each other for a few moments before turning back towards the robot as I for some strange reason begin to remember hearing that cry for some reason.
"Who are you?" Jen questioned
"My name is Alpha 5, and I have return to Earth to locate two of Zordon's original Power Rangers." Alpha stated
'I knew he look familiar.' I thought to myself
"Alpha, tell us are you looking for two in particular or any of the originals?" I inquired
"I am looking for the first Red and Pink Rangers." Alpha explained
'For some strange reason, I figured it was those two he was looking for, but why just them though?' I thought to myself
"Alpha, I can take you to them with no problem." I stated
"That be great." Alpha stated
Alpha then walked over towards us.
"But, how do you know them Gold Ranger if I may ask?" Alpha wondered
"The first Pink Ranger, Kimberly Hart is my older cousin and her and Jason are married to each other." I told him
"Small world." Alpha mentioned
"I know come on, I will take you to Jason's Dojo." I stated
"Right." Alpha agreed
I then turned back towards Jen.
"Jen get the others and meet us at Jason's Dojo." I told her
"You got it Paul." Jen told me
Jen then runs off to go do so as I then reach for my Morpher.
"TF Glider online." I called into the Morpher
Just then the TF Glider appeared in front of us. I then jump onto it as I then looked back at Alpha.
"Hop on Alpha." I told him as I offer my hand out to him.
Alpha took the offer as he grabs my hand with his as I then help Alpha onto the glider.
"Okay Alpha, hang on tight." I told him
"Okay." Alpha agreed
I then lean forward as we then fly up and away heading towards Jason's Dojo.
Meanwhile inside Jason's Dojo
Inside Jason's Dojo, Jason and his partner Steve were busy teaching a class of students from the youth beginners class as the two instructors were demonstrating the forms as the kids follow suit.
"And one, two, block three, punch four, and continue." Jason instructed
Jason then happens to look towards the back to see his wife's cousin Paul waving him over and lightly tapping his Morpher. He sighed before looking over towards Steve.
"Hey Steve." Jason called out
Steve stopped what he was doing and looked at Jason.
"Can you handle this for a bit I need to check on something in the back?" Jason inquired
"Yeah no problem Jason." Steve assured him
"Thanks man." Jason thanked
Steve nodded as he goes back to teaching the class as Jason then quickly walked over towards Paul.
Paul's POV
After motioning over towards Jason, I then see him walk over towards me.
"Paul what's up? And why did you come through the back way?" Jason wondered
"Jason I had no choice but to go through the back door and you need to come to your office there is someone who wants to see you." I told him
I then walk towards his office with Jason behind me.
"Who is it?" Jason questioned
"Let's just say an old friend of yours and Kimberly's came for a visit." I told him
Jason just looked at me confused as I then opened the door to his office to reveal Alpha 5 standing in there which caused Jason to become totally shocked as well as more confused then before.
"Alpha?" Jason questioned
"Jason. Ayi, yi, yi yi!." Alpha cried out
Alpha then walked over towards Jason.
"It is so good to see you again." Alpha mentioned
The two then hugged each other.
"It's great to see you again too Alpha." Jason greeted
A few moments later, both Jason and Alpha then broke off the hug.
"But, what are you doing back here on Earth?" Jason questioned
"It be best to wait for Kimberly and the other Time Force Rangers to get here before I explain everything Jason." Alpha stated
"Jason, how many classes do you have left for the day?" I inquired
"This is the last one so I need to get back to my students." Jason mentioned
"No problem man, I will call Kimberly and have her come here right away." I told him
"Sounds good." Jason agreed
Jason then turned around and left his office shutting the door behind him. Alpha then turned around and faced me.
"Is it just me, or did Jason put on a few pounds?" Alpha wondered
I just chuckle at that.
"You're not seeing things Alpha." I stated
I then get out my cell phone and search for Kimberly's number.
"One thing to learn is that when a guy gets married, they tend to put on a few extra pounds." I mentioned
Once I have found Kimberly's number, I select it as I begin calling her. After three rings it picks up from the other end.
"Hey Paul, what's up?" Kimberly asked through the phone
"Kimberly, how fast can you get to Jason's Dojo?" I asked into the phone
"Maybe in about twenty minutes, why is something wrong?" Kimberly asked through the phone with a worried voice I know all too well
"No, nothing is wrong. At least I don't think so anyway." I said into the phone
I then looked at Alpha for a minute.
"An old friend of yours and Jason's is here and is looking for you." I said into the phone
"Who?" Kimberly asked through the phone
"You will have to come and see for yourself." I said into the phone
"Paul Alexander Golupski, you tell me who it is this second young man." Kimberly said through the phone in that voice I know all too well
'Damn it, I really hate it when she uses my full name. Especially if I didn't do anything wrong and just want to try and surprise her.' I thought to myself
"It's Alpha 5." I said into the phone
Suddenly, all I hear was silence coming from the other end of the phone.
"Kimberly, you still there?" I asked into the phone
All I heard was a click from the other end which meant that Kimberly had ended the call without saying another word.
"That's so Kimberly for ya." I muttered
I then put my phone back in my pants pocket as Alpha comes over to me.
"So, is Kim coming?" Alpha inquired
"Yeah, knowing her she should be here in about ten minutes." I told him
"I can't wait to see her again." Alpha mentioned
I then raise up my Chrono Morpher towards me.
"Jen come in." I said into the Morpher
Just then, a holographic image of Jen appeared.
"What is it Paul?" Jen asked through the Morpher
"Have you found the others yet?" I asked into the Morpher
"Yeah, we should be at the Dojo in about ten minutes." Jen said through the Morpher
"Okay and be sure to go through the front door I will be waiting there." I said into the Morpher
"Roger that Paul. Jen out." Jen said through the Moprher
Just then, the holographic image of her then disappeared as I then looked back at Alpha.
"Alpha stay in this room, I will be back when Kimberly or the other Time Force Rangers get here." I told him
"Well do." Alpha assured
I nodded as I then walk out of Jason's office, closing the door behind me as I then walk out to the main training area to see Jason back to teaching his class with his partner Steve. I then walked over by the chairs that are over near the front door as I then sit down in one of them to wait for either Kimberly or the others to show up. About ten minutes later, I see Jason and Steve finish showing the routine they were doing as the class just stood at attention.
"Okay, great work today class." Steve mentioned
"Yes, all of you have improved very much. We'll begin working on the more slightly advance techniques next class." Jason added
Both him and Steve then put their arms by their side as does their students.
"Class dismissed." Jason called out as him and Steve bowed to their students
The students then bow back towards them as Jason then waved at them.
"Have a good weekend everyone." Jason told them
Steve and Jason then shook hands as Jason then walks up to me while Steve walked over to one of the students to talk with them.
"So, did you call Kimberly?" Jason inquired
"Yeah, I did." I confirmed
"How did she react when you told her that Alpha was here?" Jason wondered
Before I could reply, we both then see Kimberly come running into the Dojo with Kelly in her arms as she then looked over towards the two of us.
"Where is he?" Kimberly questioned out of breath
"In Jason's office." I told her
Without saying anything or a second thought, Kimberly then hands Kelly over to Jason and quickly takes off towards his office.
"Does that answer your question?" I inquired
"Yeah, it does." Jason confirmed
I then see Steve walk over towards us with a somewhat confused look on his face as he motioned towards the direction where Kimberly had ran off too.
"Hey Jason, what's up with Kimberly?" Steve wondered
"I'll explain some other time." Jason mentioned
Jason then looked over towards me as he notice I was tapping on my Morpher and realized that it be best if he got Steve out of here before the others shwoed up.
"Why don't you head on home, I can handle everything from here." Jason told him
"You sure?" Steve inquired
"Yeah go on get out of here." Jason assured
"All right have a good night Jase." Steve told him
The two then clasped hands.
"You too man." Jason stated
Steve then turned around and walked over to his bag as he then opens up the door and walks out of the Dojo.
"Hey Jason, why don't you head towards your office I will be along shortly once the others get here." I told him
"All right." Jason stated
Jason along with Kelly in his arms turns around and starts walking towards his office.
'I wonder what Kimberly's expression will be like when she sees Alpha?' I thought to myself
Kimberly's POV
Without hesitation, I quickly push the door to Jason's office wide open and standing right in there, was indeed Alpha 5. Alpha had quickly turned around and saw me.
"Kimberly." Alpha called out
"Alpha." I called out
I then quickly walk over to him as I then give my old robotic friend a hug.
"It's so good to see you again, Alpha." I told him
"It's good to see you again too Kimberly." Alpha agreed
The two of us then broke the hug.
"You look great. Mother time has treated you well over the years." Alpha commented
I just smile hear that compliment from him.
"Thanks Alpha." I thanked
Just then, I see Jason walk into his office with Kelly in his arms.
"Alpha." I mentioned
I then take Kelly from Jason and turned back to him with Kelly in my arms in a position for Alpha to see her.
"I would like you to meet our little girl, Kelly." I informed him
"She is sure beautiful." Alpha commented
"Thanks." Jason and I thanked together
Just then we then see Paul, Wes, Jen, Lucas, Trip, and Katie walk into Jason's office.
Paul's POV
After the others had arrived at the Dojo, I had led them into Jason's office as I then looked at Alpha and then motioned towards the others.
"Hey Alpha, these are the other Time Force Rangers Lucas, Trip, Katie, and Wes who is also Kimberly's cousin." I told him introducing the five to Alpha
"Nice to meet you all." Alpha stated
"Same here Alpha." Wes told him
Trip just smiled the geek like smile as he walked over and looked over Alpha a bit.
"Wow, I can't believe it. You're really the Alpha 5. You were the robotic assistant and friend of Zordon from Eltar." Trip commented
"But...but...how did you know of that Trip?" Alpha inquired
'I guess it be a good enough time as any to tell him.' I thought to myself
"You see Alpha, Trip, along with Katie, Lucas, and Jen are from the future." I revealed
"That explains that bit then. I guess it would only make sense for Rangers from the future would know of the Rangers of the past and their allies and mentors." Alpha mentioned
"Well, it's not just Rangers Alpha." Jen stated
Alpha along with the rest of us turned towards her.
"Everyone in the future would know of this as it is a requirement for everyone who graduates high school in the future to study up on the history of the Power Rangers or any other heroes from the past." Jen explained
"I don't know if I should be freaked out or flattered that I am being read up and learned about for a future high school history class." Kimberly admitted
I just chuckled at hearing that.
"I think we can try and discuss this later." Jason mentioned
Jason then walked over towards Alpha.
"So Alpha, what was it that you needed to see Kimberly and myself about anyway?" Jason inquired
"Oh right, yes. The main reason why I had returned to Earth." Alpha stated
Alpha then walked over towards Kimberly.
"I need your help in finding one of your younger cousins Kimberly as I have a message he must see." Alpha informed her
Kimberly just looked at him confused.
"Who are you looking for Alpha and what is this message about?" Kimberly wondered
"I am looking for Paul Golupski." Alpha stated
'Wait, he's looking for me?' I thought to myself
"And, it be best if he hears of it first before I were to reveal it to anyone else." Alpha added
I then walked over towards Alpha.
"That's me Alpha, I'm Paul Golupski." I told him
Alpha then walked a bit closer to me and looked at me for a few moments.
"I should have seen this earlier you really are him, Frank's son. I haven't seen you since you were just a baby." Alpha told me
I just stare at Alpha in complete shock and confusion.
"You know my dad?" I questioned
"Yes when your dad was a Power Ranger, an old wise sage and good friend of mine from Eltar by the name of Zordon and myself were his mentors." Alpha told me
This time around, both Jason and Kimberly got shock and confused looks on their faces from hearing that.
'I guess I should have mentioned that last little bit to them the other day.' I thought to myself
"Alpha, why didn't you or Zordon tell us about this?" Jason wondered
"Paul's dad had wished that his identity be kept a secret unless it was necessary to bring him back into the Ranger world." Alpha told us
"Jason, Kimberly. There may be something I had forgot to mention to you the other day about the battle the others and I were in." I admitted
Jason and Kimberly then turned towards me and just looked at me.
"You mean, you knew of your dad having once been a Power Ranger?" Kimberly inquired
"Yeah, I happen to find out about it due to a former enemy of his having appeared that day." I revealed
Before more questions could be asked on this, I then turned back towards Alpha.
"Alpha, about that message that you have for me what is it about?" I questioned
Alpha then brings out a letter and holds it out towards me.
"Here, I think it be best if you read it for yourself." Alpha informed me
I just look confused by this as I just take the letter from Alpha, opening it and began to read it. As I begin reading through it, a million questions and emotions begin to run through my mind.
'But I'm now beginning to wish that I hadn't read it after all.' I thought to myself
"What does it say Paul?" Wes inquired
"I need to be alone." I muttered
I then crumble it up and throw the paper down onto the floor as I then turned around quickly run out of the room.
Kimberly's POV
I just stare on in shock and confusion at Paul running for the door.
"Paul, wait." I called out
Paul doesn't listen to me as he runs out of the room shutting the door behind him slamming it shut. I look at Kelly to see that she is about to start crying as tears begin to form in her eyes as I quickly rock her in my arms to calm her.
"Shhh, it's okay sweetie, don't cry." I whispered in her ear
"What was that about?" Lucas wondered
"Whatever was in that letter, it really upset Paul greatly." Katie stated
I hand Kelly over to Jason who quickly took her and continued to keep her calm while I go over to where Paul had crumbled up and thrown the letter down at and picked up the letter as I then straighten it up as I then begin reading it out loud to everyone.
"Dear Paul,
if you are reading this, then something must have happen to me and you have opened that box I gave you years ago. I have something to tell you that I really should have told you in person but I feel this is the best way. Your mother and I are not your real parents. You were brought into our lives by my old mentor and friend Zordon as you were discovered in a hyper sleep chamber that had landed on Earth on April 10th, 1988, near the Command Center. Zordon called me, your mom, and your sister to the Command Center and told us that you were his son that you were born over 10,000 years ago. But was placed in the hyper sleep chamber and sent into space for your protection from Rita after War on Eltar had begun. Zordon then asked us if we would raise you as our own as he wanted you to live a normal carefree life but we both knew that one day you would end up in this life and find the truth sooner or later. I know you hate us and I just hope that one day you can find it in yourself to forgive us. Take care of yourself Paul.
Love Dad." I read out to them
I just stare at the letter in shock now fully realizing why Paul had gotten so upset earlier.
'I can't believe this.' I thought to myself
"Man, I really feel bad for Paul right now." Katie stated
"Yeah, having to find out this kind of thing through a letter is rough." Lucas added
"I'm going after him." I stated
I turn around and begin to walk out when Jason quickly placed a hand on my shoulder stopping me as I look at him.
"Kimberly it might be best if we give him some space right now." Jason told me
"Jason, Paul needs me." I mentioned
"Jason is right Kim." Trip stated
I then turned towards Trip.
"Paul is just confused right now I am sure he will come around once he had some time to think about this." Trip revealed
I just sighed realizing that Trip made a very valid point.
"I hope your right Trip." I muttered
Wes then came over to me and put a hand on my other shoulder.
"Kim, Paul feels like now that he knows who he really is, that none of us will care about him anymore. He just needs some time to think about this on his own before we go after him. I am sure he will find out that it doesn't matter if he is human or not." Wes explained
I just nodded as I then happen to see that Jen isn't in the room as I begin looking around for her.
'Where did she go?' I thought to myself
Normal POV
After having seen Paul storm out of Jason's office and that Jason and the others had decided to give Paul some space, Jen had walked out of Jason's office after hearing what was in that letter following after Paul as she is worried about him.
'Paul probably feels like he is a freak and that no one cares about him now.' Jen thought to herself
As she got into the main training area, she begins looking around but doesn't see Paul anywhere within the Dojo.
'Damn, he really didn't want to talk with anyone.' Jen thought to herself
Jen happened to look over at the front desk and spots a note on the desk. She then walks over there and picks it up and begins reading it.
'Oh no, Paul.' Jen thought to herself
Just then, the others had begun walking out of Jason's office and walk into the main training area. Jen looks up and sees them as she then goes over towards them.
Kimberly's POV
After having left Jason's office, we then see Jen walk over towards us with a piece of paper in her hand.
"Guys, we have a big problem." Jen told us
"What you talking about Jen?" Lucas questioned
"Paul ran away." Jen revealed
I just gasp in shock at hearing that.
'I knew I should have gone after him earlier.' I thought to myself
Jen then holds out the piece of paper towards me.
"But, he left this note." Jen mentioned
I then take it from her as I then begin to read it.
"As you guys are reading this, I will be all ready long gone from here. I don't know where I'm going but I know I can't be around any of you as I am sure you have read that letter by now and must think I am a freak and I can't handle having you guys say that or look at me like that, so I'm leaving. I just want to say thanks to you guys even if you don't care about me anymore but I will always care about all of you even more so to you Kimberly.
Paul." I read out loud
I just stare at the note in shock, confusion, and sadness.
'Paul, why are you doing this sweetie?' I thought to myself
"Man, Paul is taking this harder than we thought." Wes mentioned
We then looked at all of us.
"We better find him." Wes stated
"Yeah, but how?" Katie wondered
"Try reaching him on the Morpher." Jason suggested
Jen quickly reached for her Morpher.
"Paul, it's Jen come in." Jen said into her Morpher
Nothing comes through but dead air. Wes then reached for his Morpher.
"Paul do you read?" Wes asked into his Morpher
Like before, nothing but dead air comes through the Morpher.
"Paul must have found a way to turn off the Communicator within the Moprher." Trip explained
"We better then split up and look for him." Jason told us
"Yeah, Paul needs to know that we care about him no matter what." Katie mentioned
"Agreed." Lucas agreed
The rest of us nodded in agreement as we all then head for the exit to split up and begin looking for Paul.
Meanwhile a bit later somewhere in Silver Hills
Paul's POV
After having left the Dojo, I had begun walking as fast and as far as I can away from Silver Hills as I can no longer face them.
'They are probably glad that I had ran away. they don't want me around now anyway.' I thought to myself
After having through the town for who knows how long, I had found myself in the woods as I just keep on walking. After a while longer of walking through the woods, I happen to find the space ship that Alpha had came to Earth in earlier as I just look at it.
'If I can get the ship working, I will just leave Earth for good.' I thought to myself
I then begin making my way to the ship as I then walk up the hatch and walk inside. Once in there, I begin looking around the many controls in the ship as it appears to be a small one where there is just a cockpit.
'This is going to be harder then I thought to get this thing going.' I thought to myself
Meanwhile with Jen
After all having left for the Dojo to go search for Paul, Jen had decided to go look for Paul alone. She felt that it be faster that way, but in truth she has a crush on Paul but she has been unsure if she should confess it to Paul.
'I don't know if it would be a good idea anyway.' Jen thought to herself
She had decided to check in the woods for Paul, and not long after having been walking through the woods, she then came upon the ship that Alpha came in earlier and notice that the lights from inside the ship were on.
'I wonder.' Jen thought to herself
She decided to check it out as she then walked over to the ship and then walked into it as she did indeed see him in there trying to figure out the controls to the ship.
Paul's POV
I am not sure how long I have been in the ship, but I have been for a while now trying to figure out how to start up this thing.
'Man, this is harder then I first thought.' I thought to myself
"There you are I have been looking for you Paul." A voice called out from behind me
Startled, I quickly turned around to see that it was Jen.
"Jen, what are you doing here?" I questioned
"Looking for you Paul." Jen told me
"Why, so you can call me a freak to my face?" I questioned
She just stares at me with a look that seems like she wasn't too surprise that I said that.
"Well, I don't want to hear it." I told her
I then turned back around towards the controls to go back to what I was doing earlier.
"Paul, you're not a freak. None of us think you're a freak." Jen told me
I just sighed as I am not too sure if I can believe that or not.
"Yeah right." I muttered
I then suddenly feel her hand on my shoulder as I then turn my head around to face her.
"Paul, your wrong. None of us think you're a freak not me, Katie, or any of the others. And I know for a fact that your cousin doesn't think you're a freak." Jen explained to me
"Kimberly isn't my cousin anymore Jen." I told her
I then turned away from her as I just sighed heavily.
"I don't really have any family left now." I muttered
I then feel both of Jen's hands on my shoulders as she then turns me around to face her.
"Paul, she is still your cousin having the same blood doesn't mean anything. She still cares about you." Jen mentioned
I just stare at her, not sure what to say to all this. But, before I could go any further in thinking on this, Jen's Morpher beeped as she then reaches for it.
"Go ahead." Jen said into the Morpher
Just then, a holographic image of Trip appeared in her Morpher.
"Jen, there is Mutant attacking the city." Trip stated through the Morpher
"Thanks Trip." Jen said into her Morpher
She then looked at me for a moment before turning back towards her Morpher.
"I also found Paul too. we'll meet you guys there." Jen said into the Morpher
"Right." Trip said through the Morpher
Suddenly, the holographic image of Trip then disappears as Jen then turned back towards me.
"Paul, we really need you for this." Jen told me
I looked down for a moment, thinking about all of this.
'Regardless of how I am feeling about everything at the moment, I know that I can't abandon the people of this city, or my team for that matter.' I thought to myself
I then looking back at Jen with a determination look on my face.
"Let's go save the city." I told her
She just smiles at me as we both then run out of the spaceship and race of towards the city.
Meanwhile back in Silver Hills
After having been informed by Circuit that Ransik had sent a half wolf, half human looking Mutant called Wolf Man to attack the city, Trip, Katie, Wes, and Lucas had Morphed and confronted him and hold him off until Jen and Paul could join them. However, things weren't going so well as Wolf Man was proven to be very difficult to deal with. Trip and Lucas were both the first to try and take him down, but Wolf Man had stopped their punches before pushing them back and punch them in the chest causing them both to double over. Katie and Wes tried to attack him next, but Wolf Man was quick to dodge their kicks as he then did a spinning kick while their guard was down causing them to go to the ground. Having recovered, Trip and Lucas went over to them and help them back up, but Wolf Man quickly fired out a laser blast from his mouth striking the four of them sending them all back to the ground.
"You Rangers might as well give up." Wolf Man told them
The Rangers slowly stood back up.
"We will never give up." Katie told him
"That's right, we are taking you in Wolf Man." Wes added
"Hahahahahaha!" Wolf Man laughed evilly
He then crossed his arms over his chest.
"I like to see you four try." Wolf Man challenged
"How about the six of us?" A voice questioned
"Huh, who said that?" Wolf Man questioned
Wolf Man and the other Rangers then turned towards the voice to see both Paul and Jen Morphed with their respective blades in hand as the two quickly come flying down with their blades raised up as they then quickly bring them down slashing Wolf Man in the chest at the same time sending him crashing to the ground.
Paul's POV
After having Morphed and arriving at the location of the Mutant attack, Jen and I had brought out our swords and struck Wolf Man sending him to the ground. Jen then brought out her Time Force Badge and held it out in front of her.
"Time Force, you're under arrest Wolf Man." Jen informed him
"Why don't you make it easy on yourself and just come in quietly." I added leaning my Time Saber over my shoulder
Wolf Man slowly stood back up holding his chest.
"Never." Wolf Man stated
"I was kind of hoping you say that." I mentioned
"Why's that?" Wolf Man inquired
"Cause I need the stress reliever right now." I told him
The others quickly rushed over towards us as Katie puts her hand on my shoulder.
"Paul, you sure about this?" Katie wondered
"No worries Katie, I've got this." I assured her lightly slapping her shoulder
"You're a little too confident Gold Ranger." Wolf Man mentioned
"Why don't you find out for yourself dog boy." I challenged
Wolf Man then came running in towards me. I then slash my blade straight on in the air as I then jumped into the air as I hold it with both hands and hold it right above my head in the twelve O'clock position.
"Time Strike." I called out
My Time Saber then begins glowing gold as I then bring it back down switching the blades path to the eight O'clock position striking him dead center as it sends him crashing back to the ground. Wolf Man then stood back up and stared right at me.
"You're not bad Gold Ranger but try this." Wolf Man stated ripping his DNA patch
Wolf Man then quickly grew thirty stories tall.
"Oh man, not good." Trip stated
I quickly looked at the others.
"Guy's, if you don't mind I want to take care of this one." I told them
"Go for it man, we believe in you." Wes stated
"Got that right." Lucas agreed
"Yeah, go get him Paul." Katie told me
"We'll be here if you need us Paul." Trip mentioned
"Trip's right, we'll be here for you always." Jen added
I just smiled underneath my helmet at hearing all that.
"Thanks guys." I thanked
I then run forward a few feet and reached for my Morpher.
"Pyramid Zord, Activate." I called out into my Morpher pushing the right button
Just then, we see the Pyramid Zord come flying in through the sky.
"All right, let's do this thing." I stated
I then jump into the Pyramid Zord's cockpit.
"Okay time to do this thing, Pyramid Zord online." I called out pushing a button in front of me
"That flying Pyramid doesn't scare me." Wolf Man mentioned
"Pyramid Zord Warrior Mode." I called out pushing down on a lever in front of me
Just then, the Pyramid Zord side edges turn into hands while the back then transformed into the legs with the top of the Pyramid turning around, forming the head finishing off the transformation.
"Online." I confirmed
"You don't stand a chance Ranger." Wolf Man stated
"Energize Saber." I called out pushing a green button on the control panel
Just the, a saber appeared in the Pyramid Zord's hand.
"Freeze strike." I commanded pushing down the second lever
Just then, then Pyramid Zord's Saber started glowing blue as it then raises it up into the air as electricity strikes flows out from it as it then brings it back down and struck down on Wolf Man.
"No, I don't want to go back." Wolf Man cried out
"Your time is up." I stated giving a two finger salute
Just then Wolf Man shrunk down to the size of a action Figure.
"That's that." I stated
I then jump out of the Pyramid Zord as the others rushed over towards me as Jen went over towards the action figure size Wolf Man as she then hovered her badge over it.
"Wolf Man, you're under arrest." Jen stated
The badge then created a canister, placing Wolf Man inside as she then picks it up. Katie then placed a hand on my shoulder as I turned towards her.
"You were awesome Paul." Katie commented
"Thanks Kate." I thanked
Wes put a hand on my other shoulder as I looked at him.
"Glad your back man." Wes stated holding his hand out to me
I just smiled underneath my helmet as I accept his gesture and clasp his hand.
"It's good to be back." I mentioned
Meanwhile inside the Clock Tower
Kimberly's POV
Once it was confirmed that Jen had found Paul, Jason and I along with Kelly and Alpha had gone to the Clock Tower to wait for them to return after the battle. While waiting, I was just walking around in circles while Jason and Alpha stood nearby with Jason holding onto Kelly.
"Jason, I'm worried about Paul." I told him
"I know you are Kim, but you shouldn't worry too much. Paul will be okay." Jason assured me
Jason then walked over and put a hand on my shoulder.
"But one thing is for sure, he will need all the love and support from all of us now more than ever." Jason mentioned
"Yeah, I know." I muttered
Alpha then walked over towards us.
"Kimberly I am so sorry, I should have came at another time." Alpha apoligized
I just smiled at my old friend as I put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"No Alpha, I think you came at the right time." I told him
I just sighed.
"I just wish that he didn't have to find out the way he did." I mentioned
Just then, we then see the door open to see the others with Paul walking inside.
Paul's POV
After having demorphed, the six of us had gone back to the Clock Tower. As the six of us then walked inside, we look over towards where Jason, Kimberly, and Alpha were standing with Kelly in Jason's arms as I then see Kimberly with a look of relieve in her eyes.
"Paul, your okay." Kimberly stated
She then quickly rushed over and begins hugging me tightly as I hug her back.
"Yeah, I'm okay Kimberly." I assured her
I then happen to see Jason walk over towards us.
"Paul, why did you run away like that?" Jason wondered
I broke the hug and I looked at all of them before taking in a deep sigh.
"After reading the letter, the only thing I was thinking on was that you guys would see me as a freak and none of you would care about me again. So I left." I revealed to them
Kimberly turned my head towards her with her fingers gently.
"Paul, you should know that we would never stop caring about you sweetie." Kimberly told me
I just sighed again.
"Yeah I know that now." I revealed
I then motioned over towards where Jen was standing.
"Thanks to Jen. She helped me realize that." I added
"Paul, just know that even though your parents and sister are not your biological family, they still are your family and I am always going to be your cousin Paul never forget that." Kimberly stated
Jason then came over and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"She is right bud, blood doesn't make family those that care and support you are family." Jason added
"Yeah I know that now." I stated
Kimberly then slapped my shoulder somewhat lightly.
"Paul, please don't do something like this ever again." Kimberly told me
I just chuckle a bit.
"I won't little cuz." I promised
I then can tell she was slowly starting to get a bit mad from me saying that as the vain in her head was slowly beginning to throb.
"Little?" Kimberly questioned
"Yeah I mean, I am ten thousand years old not fifteen so that means I am older then you." I told her
Alpha then walked over towards us.
"Paul, that may be true, but you were asleep for that long so right now you're still just a teenager." Alpha stated
Wes along with Jen, Lucas, Katie, and Trip then walked over towards us.
"Alpha is right Paul, just enjoy the life of a teenager for the time being." Wes stated
"Yeah, so it doesn't matter what your real age is I am still your older cousin and I want you to enjoy the life of a teenager as much as possible." Kimberly told me
I just nodded my head, knowing that they are right.
"Right." I agreed
Jason then turned towards Alpha.
"Hey Alpha, what is your plan now?" Jason inquired
Jason then put a hand on his shoulder.
"I mean I could really use the help at the Dojo." Jason mentioned
"I would love to stay here on Earth Jason." Alpha stated
"And you can stay with us Alpha and that is all there is to it." Kimberly told him
"And she does mean that too Alpha." I told him
"Well then, I guess its settle then." Alpha stated
Just then, I see Kelly reaching out towards me. I just smile at her and go take her from Jason holding her in my arms.
"And Kelly would have really missed you if you had really left." Kimberly mentioned putting a hand on my shoulder
"Yeah, I guess you're right." I stated kissing the top of Kelly's head
Well one thing is for sure, this is something I am going to need to get use to but with all these people around me I will be just fine.
[Jen: NEXT TIME ON TIME WELL HEAL YOUR HEART:
The image of a Mutant aiming its blaster at some scientists, as Cyclobots pour some mysterious golden powder into a beaker, as Mr. Collins watches on appears.
"Although the powder is useless by itself..." Circuit begins
The image then switches to the Rangers looking right at Circuit from within the Clock Tower.
"..it can be made into a powerful crystal." Circuit finished
The image then changes to Frax overseeing a laser beam striking the golden powder, transforming it into a sphere crystal with spikes as Frax grabs it and holds it in his hand looking it over.
"Soon..." Frax began
The image then shows him He putting it into a golden robot while its the crystal was inside a container.
"..my robotic masterpiece will..." Frax continued
The image then switches to the robot now powered up and causing destruction.
"..come to life." Frax finished
Then image then switches Frax's robot attacks the city.
"...Circuit, we need the Time Flyers." Wes called out into his Morpher
As the Rangers move out of the way to avoid being stepped on by the robot, the image then switches to Caption Logan in the future approaching his desk, showing a hologram of Circuit.
"Megazord is too damaged." Caption Logan revealed
The image then switches to Circuit having joined the others in the city.
"The Caption can't send the Megazord." Circuit informed them
The image then switches to Paul piloting the Pyramid Zord Warrior Mode.
"Paul, you're the only one still with a Zord. It's up to you to handle this." Wes told Paul
The image then switches to Mr. Collins sitting behind a desk, with a business man on either side of him looking at one of his scientist.
"Bring the Raimei online." Mr. Collins instructed
The image then shows a man flicking some switches, as a weird tank with a drill sits in a hanger. He pushes a stick forward, as the tank moves forward. The image then switches to the Rangers inside the Pyramid Zord's cockpit with Paul as they all spot a portal of some kind having opened up through the sun.
"What is that?" Wes wondered
The image then shows a massive jet flying through the portal as it begins flying through the city, before it suddenly transforms into a Megazord.
"If Time Force didn't send it, then who did?" Katie inquired
The image then switches to the Megazord standing in front of the moon on a rooftop with two sabers in its hands.

AN: Well there's the fifth chapter for this story. Now some of you are probably surprise with the events of this chapter but I think it was a good idea.
