Once Ushio calms down, Tomoya calls Sanae to watch over her as he goes to try to get his job back, when he left, his boss seemed to be willing to hire him again, hopefully that hasn't changed. After telling Ushio that he'll be back later, he heads out the door. Once Tomoya arrives at his old work, he meets with his boss, who welcomes him with a smile.

"Okazaki! It's great to see ya again!" Tomoya's boss greets, "How's your little girl doing?" he asks, he was aware that the reason Tomoya left was to help take care of Ushio.

Tomoya, returning the smile, answers his boss, "Ushio is feeling a lot better, should be back to being completely healthy again soon in fact." Tomoya tells his boss.

"That's great to hear!"

"Yeah, I'm so relieved she's feeling better." Tomoya agrees. "Um, so, the reason I came here today is because I was hoping to get my job back." he adds nervously

"Of course we'll take you back, you were one of our best! You can start tomorrow, you try to take it easy today, I can imagine just how rough the past few days have been for you."

"Thank you very much! I won't let you down!" Tomoya thanks, bowing as he talks. The talk with his boss went a lot better than he expected. Tomoya, grinning as he headed back home, was grateful for how kind everyone at his work was towards him. Once he reaches his door, he opens it, speaking as he walks inside, "I'm back home!" he announces. Upon walking inside, he hears a familiar song being sung by both Sanae, and Ushio, it was Dango Daikazoku.

"Dango dango dango dango daikazoku!" the two sang, as Tomoya silently watched them finish the song, smiling as the song brought back memories.

"Welcome home Daddy!" Ushio greets her father, giving him a hug.

"Welcome back Tomoya-san!" Sanae greets. "Did you get your job back?" she asks, with Tomoya answering with a nod. Tomoya then thanks Sanae for watching over Ushio, Sanae then decides to go back home shortly afterwards. Tomoya then goes into the kitchen to make dinner for both himself and Ushio.

"You looking forward to seeing Kyou and all your friends again?" Tomoya asks, to which his daughter nods before speaking.

"Yeah! I can't wait to finally see sensei and everyone in school again!" the young girl excitedly answers before continuing to eat her food.

"I'm sure they will all be happy to finally see you again." Tomoya assures his daughter, who responds with a bright smile as the two continue to eat their food. The next morning, Ushio's fever was finally gone, and was currently walking with her father to school, with her holding her father's hand. Once they reached the school, they were greeted by Ushio's teacher, Kyou Fujibayashi. Kyou, upon seeing her student, warmly smiles at the young Okazaki as they approach the teacher.

"Fujibayashi-sensei!" Ushio exclaims to her teacher.

"Ushio-chan! It's so good to see you again!" Kyou greets, "When your daddy called me back when you first got sick, we've all been really worried about you!" she exclaims. "Daddy told me it was really, really bad!" she adds.

"'Really, really bad' is a bit of an understatement to be honest with you Kyou." Tomoya says, as he recalls the near death experience Ushio had.

"Wait, what do you mean by that Tomoya?" Kyou asks.

"Don't worry, Shio-chan's fine now. I'll tell you about it some other time, I gotta get to work after all." Tomoya replies, after saying goodbye to his daughter, the man heads for his work.
