Day 12: Early manga canon reimagined with Yori (OC) present. True drabble.
Electrocution
"They've learned their lesson," Yori said.
Yami heard.
But he didn't want to listen.
The gangsters who'd tortured Joey huddled before him. Their leader was unconscious, but it wasn't enough. Nothing could make up for the image of his best friend spasming under a taser while the gang laughed.
Yami held that taser now, crackling in his hand, voice to the fury in his bones.
One of the gangsters stepped back, rippling the puddle of water beneath him.
"Yami—" Yori reached for his arm.
But he'd already moved. The lightning hit the water.
And the warehouse erupted in screams.
