Hello everyone, I'm back. I'll make some changes on the past chapters, so you might want to check back on them. I also changed slightly the name of the story to fit the years on it. Please review.

Chapter 5: The Digital World
I slowly opened my eyes after crashing into the ground. I looked around and had no doubt about where I was, but it still didn't seem true. I stood up and the first thing I wanted to do was find my partner.
"Tailmon!"
Taichi must have heard my voice, because he quickly found me. He came from behind a tree and almost scared me.
"Hikari!"
"Taichi, is this true? Are we actually in the Digital World again?"
"It seems that we are." He looked around to make sure he wasn't dreaming. "But I don't see Agumon and the others here. Could they have landed in other island?"
"What?" I asked alarmed with the fact we might struggle to find everyone.
"Don't worry, once we find Agumon and Tailmon it will be easy to find the others."
"How?"
"By evolving them to WarGreymon and Angewomon."
"Taichi…"
"What?"
"They lost its power, remember? We gave up the powers of our crests to save this world."
"That's right, I forgot that." He sighed. "Well, let's hope they didn't land too far, then."
"Should we start looking for them?"
"Yeah." Taichi covered his mouth with his hands. "Sora! Koushiro! Yamato!"
I followed him as I kept calling for Tailmon.

*****
"Mimi, wake up. Mimi."
"Come on, Sora. Wake up."
Both girls slowly opened their eyes and came across Koushiro and Yamato next to them.
"Where am I?" Sora asked as she sat down and looked around.
"Looks like we're in the Digital World again." The red haired boy replied.
"The Digital World? Does that mean I get to see Palmon again?"
"Most likely. But we need to find the others first." The blonde turned to Sora. "I owe you an apology."
"What?" The girl blinked, trying to understand it. "An apology for… oh."
"I shouldn't have treated you the way I did in the subway."
"It's okay, Yamato." She smiled. "I shouldn't have said those awful things to you at school. It was inappropriate and we hadn't talked in years. I'm sorry."
"Apology accepted." He said coolly. "As long as you accept mine as well."
"Absolutely."
He helped her stand up and they joined Koushiro and Mimi.
"Do you have any idea where we can find them?" Yamato asked Koushiro.
"The digivice is still the best shot we have." He said while he grabbed his device and looked at it. "Apparently, they're not far from here."
"So let's find them."
The four friends made their way to the direction the digivice was pointing.
"Sora!"
"Huh?" She heard someone call her name.
"What's wrong, Sora?" Mimi asked.
"Didn't you hear that? I think I heard someone calling me."
"Piyomon?"
"No, it sounded like Taichi."
Koushiro looked at his digivice and saw two blinking red points on the screen. "If he's with one of us, then it's possible. He's very near us."
"Taichi!" She yelled, hoping he would hear her.
"I think I heard Sora. Come on, Hikari!" He grabbed my hand as he looked at his digivice. "Sora, I'm here."
The red haired girl looked in our direction and a huge smile appeared on her face.
"Taichi! Hikari! Are you alright?"
"Yes, we're fine." I replied with also a smile on my face.
"Yamato, Koushiro, Mimi, you are also here."
"I landed near Sora and the guys woke us up not much longer than that."
"I'm glad you could find each other. Where are Takeru and Jyou?"
"We still need to find them." Koushiro looked at Taichi and then back at his digivice. "It won't be so hard, now that we're all together."
"What are we waiting for? Let's do it then."

*****
Jyou rubbed his eyes and he looked around when his vision cleared. He couldn't be wrong, he was in the Digital World.
"Oh great, you're finally awake."
"Huh? Am I dreaming?"
"No, you're as awake as I am."
"I see you didn't lose the ability to make sarcastic jokes, Gomamon." The blue haired boy turned to his partner. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." The Digimon jumped on Jyou's lap.
"How did you find me?"
"I saw you falling down. It wasn't too hard to get your location then."
"I see." He fixed his glass. "Did you see any of the others here?"
"Only Takeru. He didn't fall far from here."
"Alright." Jyou stood up. "Show me the way."
"Okay, but…"
"What?" He looked down to Gomamon.
"You're more confident than the last time I saw you."
The boy couldn't help but smile. "Of course. I'm three years older. Our adventure changed me a lot as well. I had to do justice to my Crest."
"Right."
"It was a joke, Gomamon." He said. "Now let's find Takeru."
The water Digimon guided his partner to where the bearer of the Crest of Hope had landed.

*****
"Takeru!" Yamato yelled as we continued walking. "It would be a lot easier to find him if Gabumon was with me. He could evolve to MetalGarurumon and help us."
"Except he's not here, so we'll have to do it how we can."
"I know that, you don't have to tell me."
"You two won't start throwing punches on each other like old times, will you?" Sora asked annoyed. "It's getting ridiculous."
Taichi and Yamato frowned and turned their backs on each other. Some habits just don't get old.
"It seems like my brother hasn't grown up at all." I said. "He's fourteen and still acts like a child."
"Don't start, Hikari."
"You started it. Grow up, and stop snapping at Yamato every single time."
"Humpf." The brunette pouted and folded his arms. "Whatever."
The blonde had a hard time holding a laugh. "Listen to your sister, Taichi. She's more mature than you."
"Yamato!" The red haired girl called him out. "Stop snapping at Taichi as well. Takeru surely is more mature than you as well."
It was Taichi turn to laugh and he didn't try to hold it. "That's what you get for making fun of me. Sora did a much better job than I would."
"Come on, Sora." Yamato walked to her. "You know I like you, right?"
"Right." She said without emotion.
"And you know I'm more mature than Taichi."
"Hmm." She said simply.
"See, she agrees with me!" The rock star bragged.
"The hell she did! All she said was 'Hmm'. It doesn't mean she agreed with you."
"You refuse to accept I won."
"I do not!" Taichi closed his fists, which got us all alarmed.
"Don't do this, Taichi." I tried to hold him down. "You aren't like this anymore."
"Is this really the time?" Koushiro asked. "Let's just focus on finding Jyou and Takeru."
"We were just having fun, Koushiro." Taichi complained to his friend.
"You think everything is fun, don't you?"
"Not you too, Koushiro!" Mimi said exasperated. "I'm already getting tired of you all and we have been together for a little more than two hours!"
Everyone looked away to different directions; we were off to a bad start.
"I hope I won't be as nervous as you all when I get your age." I said without thinking. "We were supposed to have fun and instead you prefer to bitch around. I agree with Mimi, I'm getting tired."
"You're right. We all lost our tempers. I'm sorry, Hikari." Sora said. "We used to get along perfect fine, I miss that."
"Me too."
"I'm sorry, sis." Taichi walked to me and placed a hand on my shoulder. "I ruined your meeting, didn't I?"
"No, you didn't." I said with a smile. "It's just… this was supposed to be a celebration day. More than just Wizarmon's death, I wanted this to be the day where we could reconnect again, you know? Mimi came all the way from the United States… I'm sure this wasn't the reception she was expecting."
"Exactly."
"I'm sorry, Mimi."
"It's okay, Taichi. We get to see our partners again, we should rejoice on that."
"You're right." Koushiro said. "We can search for them once we find Jyou and Takeru."

*****
Jyou kept following Gomamon. "You said he didn't fall far from me and we've been walking for quite a while now."
"I may have missed it."
"What?! You mean you can't remember where it was?"
"Something like that, yeah." The aquatic Digimon admitted embarrassedly. "Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"I heard voices."
"Taichi?"
"Could be."
Jyou started yelling his friends' name.
"Are you sure this is an accurate way to find him?"
"It won't hurt to try. I don't have any other way. Yelling usually happens."
"Jyou!"
"Huh?" The boy looked around. "Takeru!"
"See? I told you he wasn't far."
"Gomamon?"
"The one and only." The Digimon shook its tail.
"Where is everyone?"
"Probably looking for us. Gomamon said we were near, so we wanted to find you first."
Takeru smiled. "Have you seen Patamon, Gomamon?"
"No." He replied sadly. "I haven't seen any of the others. We all went on different directions."
"Just like us."
"What?" Gomamon looked at his partner in confusion.
"Nothing. I was talking loudly."
"I wonder where Patamon is."
"Takeru!"
"Yamato!" The blonde turned around to where his brother's voice was coming from. "Everyone!"
"Jyou!" Mimi exclaimed.
"I see you found Gomamon."
"Where are the other Digimon?" Taichi asked.
"Agumon and Tailmon said they split, remember?" I answered him.
"Since when are you talking to them?" Sora asked.
"Since I was able to contact Tentomon at Taichi's house."
"How come no one told me that? I wanted to see Piyomon."
"You were at tennis class, I'm sorry." Koushiro apologized.
"Relax, Sora. Now that we're all together, we can search for them."
"You're right. Should we split to find them faster?"
"In pairs maybe?" Jyou suggested. "Gomamon is here, so I'll pair up with whoever's left."
"Alright." The computer geek nodded. "We can meet here later. Now we need to set up the pairs."
"I'm going with Taichi, Tailmon must be with him."
"I'll go with Sora." Mimi said.
"Okay, Yamato and Takeru can go together and me and Jyou are the last pair."
"Got it."
"Don't forget, we are meeting here again."
"Sure."
The four pairs gathered together and left in different directions, hoping to find their partner soon.
