Today's oneshot comes from the prompt from xxMECxx and they wanted a "Follow up to "You'll hate me" where Jeff tells his parents". Now I am so low on inspiration so this is sadly another crappy oneshot... sorry.

"Oh for heaven's sake", Wes said and got up. They looked at him in confusion. Wes did a Severus Snape. He did like Snape does in the forth movie when Ron and Harry are discussing prom dates. Wes grabbed the edges of his sleeves and pulled them down slightly, held up his hands, grabbed the back of Jeff's head and of the back of Nick's head and promptly pushed their faces together so their lips touched.

Both boys jolted at first but then started kissing. Wes removed his hands with a satisfied smirk. The boys continued to kiss so he rolled his eyes and walked down to the kitchen to get a sandwich. When he got back both boys had fallen asleep on his bed. Wes chuckled because they were spooning with Nick as the little spoon.

That was two weeks ago and today Jeff was going to go home and tell his parents that he was gay. He was so nervous and scared. He was afraid that his family would shun him, hate him, kick him out, be disappointed, not love him anymore, maybe they would hurt him or Nick, maybe they would blame Nick and call both of them sick… what if they hated him? What if his parents and siblings were going to hate their own son? Jeff could stand a lot of things but he couldn't stand being hated, by anybody.

Jeff was pale and felt as if he would be sick as he stood outside of his parents house. He felt an arm around his shoulders and he looked to his right and saw Wes smile at him gently. Jeff whined in terror and Wes pulled him into a hug.

"Jeff listen to me", Wes said gently. "Your family loves you and they will love you even though you are gay. Everything you've told me about your family makes me know this."

"But… but what if I was wrong", Jeff asked. "What if the picture I have of my family doesn't match up to the truth?"

"Jeff", Wes said gently. "Don't worry, everything will be okay."

"You promise?"

"Of course", Wes said and then moved aside slightly so that Jeff could open the door. Jeff did, but not until taking a deep breath. He opened the door and entered.

"I'm home", he called and heard running feet come down the stairs and suddenly his little sister was in his arms.

"Jeffy!" she squealed. She was only five. Soon Jeff's younger brothers, twins, named Steven and Tyler came down the stairs too. They were twelve years old and joined into the tight hug. Jeff hugged all three to him closely as his parents came out of the kitchen. Mr. Henderson smiled at Wes and walked up to him, shaking his hand.

"Hi there you must be Wes", he said.

"I am", Wes answered. "Thanks for letting me stay over the weekend."

"No problem at all, a friend of Jeff's is a friend of the family's… say aren't you the kid that Jeff broke the arm on?"

"That was totally an accident!" Jeff objected wildly. "I was just-"

"He was just trying to help and lost his footing", Wes cut in calmly. "It was an accident but everything is fine now, right Jeffy?"

Jeff nodded and continued to talk to his little siblings. While Wes talked politely to his parents.

A bit later Wes had been shown to where he would be sleeping and Jeff soon joined him in his room. He didn't want to stay around his parents because they would notice that something was up. Jeff walked into Wes' room and was about to knock on the door when Wes spoke:

"What is it Jeff", he asked gently and Jeff jolted. He had forgotten Wes' creepy power to know who entered or left a room. Jeff sighed and walked in and hugged Wes from behind. He buried his face in Wes' shoulder and then he felt Wes chuckle.

"Jeffy your hair is tickling my neck", Wes said gently and Jeff whimpered. "Jeffy?"

"Wes I can't do it", Jeff whimpered. "I can't do it I just can't. There's no way I can tell my family that… that.. that I am…" He whimpered and held Wes tightly. Wes smiled and turned around and hugged Jeff tightly.

"Jeffy what's wrong?"

"Wes I need you. I wanna tell them but I can't."

"Yes you can baby", Wes said in a soothing voice rocking Jeff back and forth. "How many times do I have to tell you that I believe you can do anything?"

"But Wes I can't", Jeff sobbed. "I can't. I'm not brave like you."

"Baby you are so much braver than you think. You can do anything."

"Wes I need your help", Jeff sobbed. "I don't know what to do."

"Of course you do baby", Wes soothed. "I know you do. You are going to go down there and tell your family and you know what?"

"What", Jeff sniffled.

"They will love you just the same."

"But… I'm… gay."

"It doesn't matter to me and the guys at Dalton and I am pretty sure it won't matter to your folks."

"Wessie", Jeff sniffled hugging Wes close.

"Yes Jeffy."

"Can… can you sing the mouse song."

Wes chuckled.

"Of course baby", he said and started singing:

Come along
Will there be sunshine shinin'?
Will we find a silver linin'?
Come along
Sing a song
When today becomes tomorrow
Will we find joy or sorrow?
Sing a song

Is it wrong?
To put all our hopes together
And wish for something better?
Is it wrong
To belong?
To face the future with another
Who means more than any other
Is to belong

We'll paint the grey clouds
With pretty rainbow hues
And we'll brush the gloom away
And save it for a rainy day
Rainy day
Oh today!

If troubles cast a shadow
And shadows makes the sun afraid to stay
But it's okay
'Cause there will be sunshine shinin'
And we'll find a silver linin' another day

Tomorrow is another day

How I wish you'll always stay

Tomorrow is another day

"Wes", Jeff said in a small broken voice.

"Yes baby", Wes answered.

"I need you to be there."

"I'll be there okay? So should we get it over with?"

Jeff nodded and left the room with Wes.

Jeff, Wes, his parents and his siblings were all gathered in the family room. Jeff wanted to tell them all at once. His mom and dad sat on the couch and his mom had his sister on his lap. The twins were sitting at Wes' feet watching him curiously. Jeff looked at Wes as well and the older boy nodded.

"Mom", Jeff said. "Dad… I need to tell you something…"

"You don't have to baby", his mother said and smiled. "We know."

"You do?"

"Yes", his father said.

"Know what", Steven asked.

"Yeah", Tyler asked.

Jeff looked at his parents and his dad got up from his seat, walked up to Jeff and hugged him.

"You can love whoever you want Jeff", he said and Jeff's eyes widened. "And we will always love you, no matter what you do or who you decide to love."

"We'll always be there for you baby", his mother said and smiled at him.

"I don't understand", Jeff said hugging his dad. "How did you know?"

"The way you spoke of 'Nicky'", his father said and chuckled. "It gave it all away baby and… we've known since you were little."

"You have?"

"Some things parents just know", his mother said and winked. "Are you and Nicky together yet?"

"Um… yeah…"

"Oh how wonderful! I knew my baby would find his courage and tell Nicky!"

Wes laughed at that and Jeff glared at him but Wes just chuckled.

"One could call it that", Wes said and Jeff's parents looks at him curiously. "It began when-"

"Don't you dare!" Jeff said and pointed at Wes. Wes just smiled and turned to Mrs. Henderson.

"It began when Jeff and Nick first joined the Warblers", Wes began and then gave the Henderson family a child proof version of how Jeff and Nick got together. Jeff didn't really listen, he just stood there in his father's loving embrace and watched his mother smile happily at Wes. After a bit he felt his father hug him tighter and Mr. Henderson whispered:

"I love you son, always. Never be afraid of telling me anything."

Jeff just nodded and hugged his dad close.
