"Let's watch the stars from my porch!"
"Isn't it a little late now, Amane?"
Amane would grip at her sleeves, pulling them enough for her grip to slip and free the yelping Tsukasa who gripped at his neck with a gaped mouth of wordless shock; "You could've killed him!" The older twin joked, gently patting her shoulder despite his worried expression pointed to Meiko rather than his brother, gripping her sleeves much more tightly with a new sense of... Fear?
Was Amane afraid?
Meiko turned to Tsukasa who was just bursting into bundles and bundles of laughter, "Wow, that really hurt! For a girl!" He exclaimed through bursts of joy while clutching his sides, the younger twin barely managing to stand as his stance faltered to a point he clung to the wall. Amane seemed to visibly relax, letting his hands slip down Meiko's arms and smiled softly, "Let's just sit down and relax for a minute or two— ok?" He looked to the two who were just play-fighting whom had suddenly zoomed back to the table in an instant, seeing Meiko clamber into her seat just as he turned around, he quirked a brow but didn't say anything about it as he went to sit down and get into the sandwich as well.
He poked at it, he knew the food here tasted 'real' but it didn't feel right, even so Hanako had to put on a convincing act so she'd finally see this world as reality instead of the fictional one it was.
"C'mon, c'mon! We won't get there in time if you two slowpokes keep lagging around back there!" Tsukasa yelled, hand a'waving to them as he carelessly held the telescope Amane let him borrow, looking back to the two who were a good meter or three from him; he grinned to show off another difference between him and Hana- Amane.
Tsukasa had more normal pupils and fangs which made him look more eccentric- scary- in comparison to Amane. Her hands clammy from the cold air and lifting up the telescope she held for Amane after insisting to help him get to the stargazing spot without a hitch from him; Amane would take swift glances Meiko's way as if to watch out for any signs of her faltering from the weight of the telescope, "I can still-"
"Amane, I got it! For the last tIM-!"
She suddenly tipped over from swinging around so carelessly to face Hanako-
"Hanako-kun!"
Amane's blood pressure rose as he darted forward, grabbing the collar of her shirt to pull her in and wrap a arm around her shoulder, his amber eyes dilated with a flex of his chest that held breathes scared to form from his throat; his sudden panic didn't disperse as he looked to his friend with concern.
The telescope on the ground with a broken lens despite the bulky build, but Amane nor Tsukasa cared as they anxiously waited for the a-ok from the girl who was still in shock as to what was about to transpire.. Had Amane not caught her, she could've split her head open on the rocky ground.
"We can look through mine!" Tsukasa exclaimed, holding his telescope up to show it off to his friends, Amane relaxed with a smile before turning to Meiko; "I'm ok! I'm ok.." She frowned, "Sorry, for you know.. I should've said it was too heavy-" Meiko stopped as a soft hit made contact with her wine brown hair, looking down to Amane's arm that reached up to pat her head; he was smiling, "Just tell me before you fall head over heels for me again."
"Amane, no." She groaned, before being poked and prodded at by the younger boy, "Don't you mean Hanako?" He spoke.
The question posed.. Odd. It was something you'd want to answer but were afraid too, strange.
"Hanako, Amane, you're the same person."
Suddenly, arms went to go around her waist, being pulled back from the older twin; "But I'm always gonna be Tsukasa!" Yelled the fanged boy.
