Okay that's mean of me ;) Paula wants a story with Wes and Nick or Wes and Thad. But since I recently posted one with Nick and Wes I will make a Thad and Wes one :)

Wes was watching all the boys of the Dragon leave one by one. He had even helped David down with all his bags. Wes couldn't understand why David needed so much stuff over the holidays, but David said he did. When asked why he wasn't packing himself Wes explained that his parents would pick him up the next day. Everyone at Dalton went home except from Wes… and one more. Thad Harewood was sitting in the common room of the Dragon. His parents had decided to go on a romantic holiday and leave Thad alone over the holidays. Which meant… Thad had to stay at Dalton over Christmas and the New Years. He sighed heavily but then jumped when someone suddenly wrapped an arm around him. He turned and noticed it was Wes. The older boy smiled and Thad leaned into him.

"Guess it's just you and me then buddy", Wes said. Thad shrugged before leaving the room so that Wes wouldn't see his tearstained cheeks. But Wes had already seen them and he knew how to make sure they didn't stay.

Around 6 pm there was a knock at Wes' door. He put down the book he was reading and walked over. He wasn't dressed in uniform anymore. He wore the clothes Justine and Mitch had sent. It was a black turtle neck, black pants and a navy blue knitted cardigan with white snowflakes and other winter and Christmassy motives on. He had black socks on and a blue scarf around his neck, he'd just been outside after all. His room had an almost fireplace glow to it and it was warm and cozy. He opened the door and smiled.

"Principal Carmichael", he said happily.

"Hello there Wesley Merry Christmas", Carmichael said and smiled.

"Merry Christmas sir. What can I do for you?"

"Well it is more what I can do for you Wesley."

"Please sir, say Wes."

"Alright then, Wes would you like to come with me and find Thad?"

"Sure sir", Wes said and closed his door, after turning off the lights and putting on a pair of shoes. Carmichael and he then walked down the hallway towards Thad's door. Wes ran up to the door, knocked and then headed inside.

"Thad Principal Carmichael is here to see us", he said happily. Thad looked up from his drawing and shrugged. Wes hurried over and pulled the shy and tiny boy into a tight hug. Thad clung to him and hid his face in Wes' shoulder and cried silently.

Carmichael watched them. The two boys talked for a bit before Wes took Thad's hand and lead him into the bathroom. Carmichael smiled. He knew what Wes was doing. He was helping Thad wash his face, wash away all traces of tears. He heard gentle banter and chatter from the bathroom. He didn't really listen to what they talked to because it was obviously private. Wes soon returned and fetched some clothes for Thad. Carmichael waited and the boys soon appeared. Thad was wearing a pair of black pants, a red sweatshirt and tennis shoes. Wes held an arm around his shoulders.

"Let's go boys", Carmichael said calmly. "The dinner will get cold."

"Where are we going sir", Thad asked shyly.

"To my personal quarters", Carmichael answered. "You two, the cook Nelly, two of the teachers, one of our janitors and I are having our dinner there tonight. It feels so stupid eating in the teachers' lounge or the cafeteria, don't you think?"

"I agree sir", Wes said and they walked on in silence and soon reached Carmichael's quarters. They were the first to arrive, other than the grownups and the cook smiled when she saw them.

"Oh the rumors I heard was right", she said and got up and hugged the boys. "You are staying."

"Uh… yeah Nelly", Wes answered hugging the short plump woman back before hanging up his jacket.

"Heh did ya get that outfit yourself Wes", the janitor asked.

"No Mr. Simmons I did not. This is the work of Justine Gideon and Mitch Magnuson."

"I guessed as much."

"Oh how I miss those two", Nelly said and sighed.

Thad looked at the grownups and shook hands with all of them, introducing himself formally, before standing beside Wes and staying close to him.

"My you are a sweetheart", the Spanish teacher, a young woman named Evita Gonzales said. "Abby wasn't wrong."

"Abby", Thad asked.

"Ms. Lincoln", Carmichael explained. "Come boys, sit, sit." He ushered the two boys to the two chairs on his left. The two boys from the Dragon sat down and they didn't have to wait long for the food to be served.

"Our little group is a little bit bigger this year", Carmichael said when they all sat around the table and when they had all gotten something to eat. "We welcome Thad and Wes to our little group."

"Welcome", the others said smiling and they started to eat. Wes was happy they had promised not to mention that this would be yet another time he joined them.

"I don't understand", Thad said to Carmichael and the man looked at him.

"What Thad", he asked smiling.

"Why are you all celebrating at Dalton sir", Thad asked shyly. "Don't you have a family?"

Carmichael laughed.

"I do", he said. "But they live in England and Australia. I will go to them over New Years. I know there are boys that don't go home around Christmas, long distances in some cases or they don't have anywhere to go like you and this year also Wesley. I can't just leave them here without having some sort of Christmas."

"That is very kind of you sir", Wes said looking at Carmichael past Thad.

"Indeed", the second teacher, the home economics teacher Gordon Hale said. "The same goes for all of us or in my case it's because I'm Jewish. I have no reason going home to the family since Hanukkah has already come and gone."

"It was the 11th December this year right", Thad asked shyly.

"That's right, how did you know?"

"I'm interested in religion sir… is that bad?"

"Not at all", Gordon said and smiled gently. "Maybe we can make a teacher out of you."

Thad smiled shyly and the dinner continued in the same friendly talk, afterwards they played some games before the boys retired to their dorms.

On the way there Wes put his arm around Thad's shoulders.

"Let's share room", he said. "It feels odd when the dorm is so quiet."

"Are you scared?" Thad teased.

"Nope but I figured you might be."

"I'm not scared… Besides you wanted to share a room so you must be the chicken." With that he darted away laughing. Wes smiled fondly and took chase. He chased the boy all the way back to the Dragon. Wes didn't catch the quick little boy until they reached the stairs. Wes was faster so when Thad reached their floor he squealed when he felt hands grip his waist.

"Oh ticklish are we", Wes asked smirking.

"N-n-no", Thad giggled.

"Oh really so you won't mind if I do this then?" he started to tickle the boy and Thad squealed and tried to escape. Wes only started to drag him with one arm and could tickle him with his free hand. Thad squealed, laughed and tried to break free. Wes only smiled and walked towards Thad's room, Wes' old room. He opened the door and the two boys wrestled each other and soon tripped onto the bed. Wes continued to tickle Thad who laughed so much he was crying.

"I thought you said you weren't ticklish", Wes said evilly and let his fingers dance over Thad's stomach and sides.

"S-s-stop it", Thad squeaked. "P-p-please!"

"Holler uncle."

"Uncle", Thad squealed. "Uncle, uncle, uncle!"

Wes smiled and gave Thad a hug before getting up. But when he was about to leave Thad gripped his wrist.

"Please stay", he whispered and Wes smiled.

"Of course, I'll just get my pajamas and brush my teeth", he said. He ruffled Thad's hair before going to his dorm to get said items. Thad walked into his bathroom to wash off and brush his teeth. He took his pajamas with him. But when he returned he saw Wes lying in his bed.

"Hey!" Thad objected. "That's my bed. Where will I sleep?"

Wes just held to covers up and Thad grinned before getting in beside him. He snuggled close to Wes and Wes put an arm around him and after he turned off the light, they were both fast asleep.

The next morning Thad woke up when a small sunbeam tickled his nose. He felt something warm around him and realized it was Wes' arm. He grinned and snuggled close to the older boy and then looked out of the window… and grinned.

The sun may have disappeared behind some clouds… but it was snowing! It was already about 6 inches outside of what he could tell. He grinned and hurried up to the window and pushed it open. It was completely quiet outside and some snow blew into the room gently. Wes didn't seem to notice it. Thad smirked evilly and took a handful of snow and crept over to the older boy. Wes was lying on his stomach now and Thad smirked… and dropped the snow onto the older boy's neck and a bit down his shirt. With a shriek Wes flew up and Thad laughed so much he dropped to the floor. Wes jumped around trying to get the snow out and then he glared at Thad.

"What was that for", he demanded to know.

"See it as payback for tickling me", Thadsaid happily and Wes' face softened a bit. He pulled the pajama jacket off and saw the snow fall to the ground. Thad only grinned innocently at him and Wes laughed and hugged him.

"Come on funny guy", he said and threw a shirt to Thad. "Let's go to the Bean and get some breakfast."

"Yes!" Thad cheered and hurried to get dressed.

"Oh my boys!" Trixie shouted when she saw the two of them. Both of them were wet because of the snowing… and the snowball fight on the way there.

"Hi Ma Trixie", both boys said. They had been in quite often and even though Thad had been very intimidated by the loving woman since he wasn't used to love being shown towards him, he was now very fond of her.

"How are my boys doing", she said when they sat at a table. She joined them with her own cup of coffee, Wes got his usual chocolate and Thad took the same as Wes.

"How does that taste sweetie", she asked Thad.

"I love it", he said. "Ma I think you just figured out my favorite chocolate!"

"Ha!" Trixie called and turned to the counter. "Nelson you owe me ten bucks!"

Wes and Thad laughed and they continued their breakfast with Ma Trixie. She told them funny Christmas stories from the Bean and what she would be doing later that day. She told them of an ice skating rink by Westerville High. They could rent you skates if you didn't have your own. Wes smiled gently, of course there was, there always was. Thad though was beaming and practically bounced in his seat. He loved ice skating.

"Let's go there", he said and looked at Wes.

"And have us get ourselves killed", Wes asked. "Thanks but no thanks."

"Why not? Please Wes? Please please please please please please!"

"Why?"

"Because it's fun! It's even fun to fall down! I can teach you how to fall without hurting yoruself if you are bad at it. Please Wes? I love ice skating. It's fun, even when you fall! Please please please my parents never took me when I ked them to. Please Wessy please?"

Wes looked at him.

"Okay", he said. "But just because it's you."

Thad all but squealed and hugged him tightly. Trixie laughed at them.

"You act so much as brothers today one could think you are really related", she said.

"Well we except for not looking alike at all", Wes said happily. "But we are brothers, right Thad?"

Thad nodded happily and snuggled closer into Wes' warm embrace. Ma Trixie smiled at them and then looked at her watch.

"I must return to work so that I can get home faster", she said. "Merry Christmas boys."

"Merry Christmas Ma", they called after her and then turned to each other.

"Come on", Wes said putting enough money down for both of them. "Let's go skating." Thad grinned happily and hurried after Wes. They had a really great time at the ice skating rink and even got involved in a big snowball fight in the park. Kim and Oliver were there too since they both lived in Westerville. They all had a lot of fun.

The evening they spent eating dinner together with the grownups again and playing games, telling stories and just having fun together. They exchanged Secret Santa gifts and drank hot chocolate. Carmichael and Mr. Hale told them stories of their own time as Dalton students and the boys shrieked with laughter. Cook Nelly spoiled everyone with cookies and other sweets and the janitor told them ghost stories and other mysterious stories about Dalton and Westerville and when it was time to go to bed Thad and Wes shared a bed again, this time Wes' and they could both agree that this had been their best Christmas ever!
