Today's prompt goes:
Wings0fAnAngel - One of the Warblers accidently dye
their hair pink and call Wes for help. Wes does not know how to fix it so he calls Justine for help. At this point she either tells him how to fix it or comes to fix it herself. Not sure which Warbler accidently dyes their hair pink but I'm sure you can make it work :)
"I swear", Wes grumbled as he pulled a t-shirt over his head. "Otthan if it's your drunk asses again I will press charges!" At the last part he tore the door open. He froze before he was going to start an angry rant. It wasn't Nathan and Otto standing outside of his New York apartment. Instead it was a short boy with curly pink hair. His hazel eyes were rimmed with tears and he looked horrible.
Blaine and Kurt had been fighting a lot. They had hit another rough patch in their relationship because of Kurt's jealousy. Blaine had gotten the part they both had auditioned for. Honestly sometimes Wes could swear they were still in high school. Wes' face softened at once and he held his arms open and with a little whimper Blaine stepped into his embrace and clung to him. Wes closed the door with one hand and kept the other secure around his little brother. He guided Blaine to his couch and sat there holding him until both fell asleep.
The next morning they decided to try to get that dye out. But nothing they tried worked. Wes even Googled what to do… but found nothing save of shaving off Blaine's hair that would actually help. Blaine was not going to let him do that and Wes wasn't going to do anything that hurt his brother.
"Blaine I'm sorry but I have no idea how to undo… this", Wes said and gestured for Blaine's hair. "I don't even know how Kurt did it!"
"He put something in the shampoo… I tried to wash it out three times before I came to you", Blaine said with a miserable look on his face. "Wes I don't want to shave my head. There must be something you can do."
Wes was standing by his photo-wall. He had photos of all his brothers, sisters and other friends there. He got an idea.
"Blaine I don't know what else to do", he said.
"NO!" Blaine exclaimed in horror but Wes turned to him with a smile.
"But I do know someone that can help", he said. Blaine looked between him and the picture a few times and Wes smirked.
Half an hour later Wes' doorbell rang and he opened the door.
"Darling traffic was horrible", Justine said as she walked past him dressed in a black dress and stilettos. Mitch followed her and she turned to Wes.
"Yeah I can see why we have a disaster on our hands", she said and pointed at his hair.
"Hey my hair is fine", Wes tried to defend himself.
"And don't get me starting on your clothes ugh."
"What's wrong with jeans and a t-shirt?"
"Ugh darling that is why I am the fashion guru."
"Uh hum", Mitch said.
"I mean Mitch and I", Justine said with a sweet smile and Mitch smiled back. She took Wes' hand and led him towards the living room. "Now I want you to sit your nice little butt down and let us work our magic."
"But-" Wes began.
"Don't let it end like at sectionals", Mitch piped up.
"That still wasn't fair", Wes said.
"No but it was funny", Justine said happily and turned around… and screamed and dropped her purse. Blaine was sitting there on a chair with pink hair. He pouted when Justine screamed and Mitch stared at Blaine.
"I guess that's our real patient", he asked and Wes nodded. Justine held a hand over her heart.
"Oh darling you spooked me", she said and walked up to Blaine. "Who did this to you poor dear?"
Blaine told her about his and Kurt's breakup. Wes stared, that hadn't been up yesterday. Blaine told Wes he was sorry about not telling him but he was just too upset. Kurt and he had broke it off and Blaine had packed his things and left. But Kurt packed his bathroom things and after what happened to his hair he was going to throw the rest of it out.
"Good idea", Mitch said. "Now let's see what we can do."
Blaine looked at Wes who grinned happily, Mitch and Justine started to walk around him and he felt terrified. They touched his hair a bit and whispered. Wes heard something about Disney and had to bite his lip to keep from laughing. After a bit the two fashion gurus turned to Blaine.
"Now we know what to do", Justine said. "Mitch will cut-"
"No!" Blaine squeaked.
"Just a tiny bit", Mitch said. "You need a new haircut and we will dye your hair darker because this pink won't wash out."
"And then we are taking you shopping", Justine said.
"What", Blaine asked.
"Baby you are far too old to play dress up."
"What?" Blaine asked again and looked at the clothes he wore. It was the same clothes he'd worn at his first day at McKinley.
"Darling that get up is so Pinocchio and so not you."
"But I like getting dressed like this…"
"Then let's find clothes you love getting dressed in", Justine said and patted his cheek. "Mitch get to work!"
Mitch grinned and got his combs and scissors out.
"My pleasure", he said. But to the surprise of Wes and Blaine it was Wes who got forced onto a chair.
"Hey wait what?!" he objected.
"Baby when did you last cut your hair?" Mitch asked. Wes didn't reply. He knew resistance was futile.
After the torture, Wes' own words, he endured and after Blaine's treatment Justine clapped her hands happily. Wes smiled, he liked his old haircut but he loved the new on. Blaine was still covering his eyes by request.
"Can I open now?" he asked and Mitch held a mirror in front of Blaine.
"Yes", he said and Blaine opened his eyes and gasped. His hair wasn't gelled but it didn't look curly and it wasn't pink anymore. It was almost his normal color, a little darker but he looked amazing. He felt tears sting his eyes and flew up hugging Mitch.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" Blaine squealed.
"Up", Justine said. "We're not done yet." She took his hand. "Let's go shopping!"
"And I guess you want me to stay behind and clean?" Wes asked.
"Nonsense… we need someone to carry everything."
"What wait hey!" but he was already being dragged out the door by Mitch.
"Can you explain to me why my hair isn't black but dark green?" Wes asked while he, Mitch and Justine were waiting for Blaine to come out in an outfit that Justine had picked for him… well another one. There were bags all over the floor with clothes for Blaine. Wes had turned to the mirror and noticed that when he moved his hair shimmered in dark green. Justine giggled and Mitch looked innocent.
"It suits you", Justine said happily. "Makes you more unique."
"Justine… I can't have green hair."
"Dark green."
"So dark it's almost black", Mitch concluded.
"I hate you both", Wes said and rolled his eyes.
"I'm ready!" Blaine called.
"Then come out here before I come in there and get you", Justine said. Blaine came out and Wes had to smile. He looked amazing. Justine didn't look too happy though.
"What?" Blaine asked and she stormed up to him and tore the bowtie from around his neck. She then unbuttoned the top button.
"I said no bowties", she said.
"But I like bowties…"
"No your ex liked seeing you in bowties which is why you wore them", Mitch said. "We see this all the time. You are holding on to the past. You wanted to stick out, to be enough for your… fashion statement of an ex-boyfriend."
"That's putting it mildly", Wes grumbled and Justine slapped him.
"Shut up", she scolded lightly. "You're not a complete fashion catastrophe but close to it."
Wes just rolled his eyes. Blaine looked at Mitch.
"But", he said. "The bowties-"
"Is a way for you to stay connected to a person that ruined your hair", Mitch said gently. "You are single now and need a new look that says: I'm single and out there living my life. I'm free."
"So naked", Wes asked and Justine took a bag and pushed it into his face so that he wouldn't be heard. Blaine laughed at the antics and decided to let go of the image he had made up to please Kurt and let Mitch and Justine find him, the real him. The real Blaine. And… it felt good. Things would turn out great for him. He was certain.
(Here you go, feel free to send me request by review or pm ;) And I'll see what I can do about it :D)
wesandwarblers -I'm happy you don't hate me for keeping you waiting so long.
