The first prompt since my computer crashed. (sorry again) It goes:
x-Meiko-Rose-x - Oh! Could you please do one where Wes catches one of the younger Warblers being hurt by an older boyfriend? It can be any of the boys that you want I just wanna see some angry a** kicking Wes and brotherly comfort :)
Wes whistled happily as he walked down the hallways of Dalton. It was a good day and for once nothing had gone wrong and no one needed their big brother. Wes hadn't had some time to himself for nearly a week and today he was going to head out to the motor cross track and have some fun. But he had just enough time to think the thought when he heard a slap and then someone crying. He heard a lot of yelling and hurried towards the sound. He had time to see a short boy crying and hugging his stomach while a bigger boy was yelling at him and then slapped him so hard he fell to the floor. Wes was so shocked he didn't know what to do. He watched as the older of the two boys walked away and when the door slammed shut after him it shook him from his stupor. He ran into the room and up to the boy.
"Hey", he said. "Hey kiddo are you okay?"
The boy looked up at him and to his horror Wes realized that it was Blaine. Blaine had a big bruise on his neck and a big red mark on his face. He was crying and looked so small and scared that it put a knife through Wes' heart. Blaine had been hurt and he'd done nothing to stop it? What kind of big brother was he? Blaine watched him and the fear seemed to melt from his face and he threw himself into Wes' arms. He clung to Wes so tightly the older boy could barley breathe. But Wes ignored that and just held Blaine close while the younger boy cried his heart out.
"It's okay", Wes said. "It's okay baby I got you. Tell me everything."
The gym was buzzing with easy banter while everyone awaited the show the martial arts team was putting up. They'd showcase all the martial arts practiced at the school and would have a small competition where students that weren't on the team could challenge a member on the team or vice versa. Wes Montgomery was getting ready in the locker room when Nick Sullivan hurried up to him
"Wes this is a terrible idea", he said. He was worried for his friend and big brother. Everyone in the Warblers knew what had happened to Blaine but had been asked to, scratch that… they'd been ordered to not interfere. Wes said he was going to handle it. But when nothing happened they tried to demand he'd do something about it. Wes told them that he would… on the day of the showcase. No one understood what he meant. No one but Luke who was on the team. Luke had tried to talk Wes out of it but when it didn't work he turned to the Warbler Wes had been the mentor for last year. Nick. Nick was also very good at talking people out of bad ideas… unless it was him and his boyfriend doing the "bad idea". But this was the first time he had to talk Wes out of a bad idea and he hoped it would be the last.
"It's not a terrible idea since I know I'll win", Wes replied.
"Wes we know about your plan", Nick said.
"What plan?"
Nick blinked in confusion. The tone in Wes' voice and the look on his face told Nick Wes had no idea of what he was talking about. Nick opened his mouth to respond but then shook his head and walked off. If Wes wasn't planning on doing what the Warblers thought he was doing Nick wasn't going to give him any ideas. Especially not ideas that could get him expelled.
The showcase had been going on for a while and the boys of Dalton were cheering for the various boys on the team. Wes being the only black belt, aside from the coach, was getting the most praise. Then it was time for the moment where the student body could challenge the team or other way around. The coach held a mike out to his team. Wes walked forward and took it.
"I challenge senior student Percy Weston", he said and the Warblers felt the color drain from their faces. Oh no. Thad hugged Blaine close when his boyfriend walked past them when heading for Wes. Percy winked at Blaine.
"Cheer me on babe", he said and Blaine shrunk back. Percy smirked and headed for the mat. He took his shoes, tie, blazer and shirt off so he could move easier. When he got there he noticed the cold glow in Montgomery's eyes. He held his hand out so that they could shake and pulled Wes close.
"You don't like me very much, do you Montgomery?" he asked.
"There isn't a word for what I feel about you", Wes spat. "But listen and listen closely Weston. I know what you did to Blaine Warbler and Warblers stick together through thick and thin."
"So?"
"So why do you think I called you down here? I don't respect you. No. I'm doing this as a warning. If anyone hurts my Warblers… I'll hurt them."
That's when the coach blew in the whistle. Wes kicked Percy as hard as he could and he went down. The gym cheered. Percy got up and charged at Wes. The match was on.
After the showcase Wes and the Warblers were outside by the fountain, talking and having fun. Wes was relaxing after a hard day's work and was getting a massage from Nick.
"Wes you've pulled a muscle here", Nick said while massaging Wes' neck.
"Must be from that last throw I did on Percy", Wes said calmly. Blaine curled close to him. Safe to say Percy broke up with him after today's events. Peaking of the devil. Percy came limping by with a suitcase in hand. He was being escorted off campus by the security staff. Wes waved at him. Percy glared. The Warblers looked from him to Wes.
"What", he said. "Someone presented Carmichael of a video with Percy hurting another boy. It's strictly against the rules of the school. Unless you are doing it under controlled forms."
The Warblers stared at him. Wes was not human. He was… he was… Well whatever he was they were happy to have him on their side. None of them wanted to end up like Percy Weston after all.
Okay not one of my better once. Sorry.
