I hope you wrote in capital letters out of excitement and not shouting angrily at me :S

Wes didn't know what to do. He had no idea. For once in a very long time Wes Cohen was clueless. He'd talked to his sister about this and his new parents and they were all cool with it. He knew they would all be cool with it but he didn't know how they'd react and that's what scared him. Would they be disappointed because he didn't tell them before? Would they be angry that he kept it from them so long? Would they hate him for lying to them and himself? Would they be disappointed that he hadn't been able to be true to himself? Would they be angry because they thought he didn't trust them enough? Would they feel as if he was just a lying bastard? Would they want to be his brothers and sister anymore? He already knew what Olivia would say.

He had already told her and she had been very understanding and calmly stated that she suspected it. She had also told him that she had always suspected it but had been in denial because she'd loved him so much once. Well she still loved him but not in the same way anymore.

Wes sighed and took out his most beloved photo. It was of him in the midst of boys that were all twice the size of him, well nearly. Some wore navy blue blazers with red piping while others wore all black clothes. He smiled gently. The Warbler council and he were the only ones standing. The other boys sat in diagonal rows beside them, except for a few short boys that sat on chairs in front of the council. Wes was standing on the back on one of those and Jerry was holding an arm around him to keep him from falling off. Wes sighed again and got up. Time to face the music.

The Warblers of the First Age, as they had named themselves, were all gathered at Justine and Mitch's workshop. They were planning Wes' First Day At Dalton Party, without telling him of course, I mean that would be pretty stupid. They had been at it all morning, trying to figure out where to have the party, how to get Wes there, what food they should have, what drinks should be offered, what music should be played… and how to get Wes there.

"There must be some way to lure Mc. Broody out", Bastian said from his wheelchair. (oops did I just do a spoiler?) They had all noticed Wes getting more and more brooding the last few weeks so the party would be a way to cheer him up… hopefully. They all nodded and started thinking.

"I'm already here", a voice said from the door and they turned to see Wes walking over to them.

"AH!" a few of them exclaimed and tried to hide their plans.

"no worries I already know about the party", Wes said calmly.

"But… how?" Justine asked.

Wes held his phone up. They could all read the message Nathan had sent out to them all a few days ago. All the older men turned to Nathan with angry glares.

"Uh oops?" Nathan said. "Ow!" his best friend, husband and Justine had just hit him. Wes gave a tiny smile before sitting down between Jerry and Mark.

"I appreciate it guys", he said and felt Mark wrap an arm around his shoulders. "But you don't need to do it… I um actually need to talk to you about something."

"Anything kiddo", Mark said and squeezed his shoulders a little.

"Yeah!" Otto said. "Even if you've knocked someone up!"

"Uh…" Wes said and blushed and everyone stared at him.

"You did!?" Justine screamed.

"No!" Wes objected when he realized what they were all thinking. "God what do you think of me?! If I knocked a girl up I'd married her a long time ago!"

"Then…. What's wrong?" Jerry asked gently.

"Um… I…" Wes hesitated again.

"Oh I know!" Nathan said and grinned. "He's gonna tell us he's gay!"

Wes' head snapped up.

"What?" he asked.

"He's not gay", Charles said. "He would've told us a long time ago."

"But", Wes began.

"Oh come on I was just joking", Nathan said with a grin but then turned to Wes. "But just so you know." He then started singing:

If you were gay
that'd be okay
I mean 'cause hey
I'd like you anyway

"Nate", Wes groaned and got up to make him shut up. But Otto just grinned and stood behind Wes singing:

Because you see
if it were me
I would feel free to say
That I was gay
...but I'm not gay.

Wes groaned and turned to Otto.

"Guys please", he said and Otto moved to stand beside Nathan. "I am trying to tell you something!"

The older guys just stood there playing with their fingers. Wes turned to face everyone but could hear the duo whispering between each other. He slowly turned to them.

"What?" he asked. Nathan smirked and sang:

If you were queer

"Nathan", Wes groaned.

I'd still be here

"Nathan I'm trying to tell you guys something."

Year after year

"Nate!"

Because you're dear to me

"Argh!" Wes groaned and walked over to the window but Otto followed.

And I know that you

Wes sighed heavily.

Would accept me, too

If I told you today,
"Hey, guess what, I'm gay".
...but I'm not gay.

"..." Wes grumbled while walking away from him, but Nathan blocked his path. He danced around Wes while singing:

I'm happy just being with you

"This is hopeless", Wes grumbled.

So what should it matter to me
What you do in bed with guys?

"Nathan shut up!" Wes shouted.

No, it's not!
If you were gay

"Argh…" Wes groaned again and sat down on a stool.

I'd shout hooray!

"Is anybody listening to me", Wes muttered.

And here I'd stay

"Nathan!" Wes shouted but Nathan didn't let that stop him.

But I wouldn't get in your way

Wes groaned in frustration and turned away from him, crossing his arms and closing his eyes. Anyone could see he was about to blow his top.

You can count on me
To always be
Beside you everyday
To tell you it's okay
You we're just born that way
And as they, it's in your DNA
You're gay.

Everyone except Wes laughed as Nathan kept poking him and wrapping an arm around him.

If you were gay.

"NATHAN I AM GAY!" Wes yelled at the top of his lungs. Everyone stopped laughing and stared at him. Wes felt tears sting in his eyes and fled the room. The older boys were left behind, speechless.

Wes was sitting on a bench in Central Park. His chest was heaving and tears were falling fast. His eyes were big and red from all the crying and the only reason he had decided to sit there was the fact that his legs wouldn't carry him anymore. Now he'd lost the people that meant the most to him. They would never want to speak to him ever again because he'd lied to them. He'd lost them… and soon he'd lose them all.

The Warblers of the First Age looked at each other with tears going down their cheeks. They stood watching their "little brother" break right in front of them. Mark looked at the shorter young men beside him and they looked back.

"What do we do now", he asked. "Wes thought we didn't know and most likely thought we'd be angry with him." Of course the older Warblers had known. They'd known since Wes broke up with that girl he met in sophomore year, some even before that. Of course they weren't angry. They knew that Wes probably didn't know it himself. He'd met all types of gay guys during his time in the Warblers and at Dalton. Some of them could've fooled everyone. Some didn't even know at first, just like Wes.

But the others knew. Not straight away but after a bit. They figured Wes had been a bisexual but it had shifted after puberty so that he only liked guys. Jerry smiled a little when he watched Wes. This reminded him a little of the first time they'd seen him. Back then he thought everyone hated him too. Jerry was going to prove once again that Wes was wrong.

Jerry walked towards Wes, he only had one plan in mind and hoped that it would work. He sat down by Wes and pulled the crying boy to him. Wes didn't care who it was that hugged him, he just clung to him crying his heart out. Mark gripped Bastian's wheelchair and rolled him over to their brothers. Wes had now realized it was Jerry but he kept crying. Jerry just rocked him gently and started to sing:

Come along
Will there be sunshine shinin'?
Will we find a silver linin'?
Come along
Sing a song
When today becomes tomorrow
Will we find joy or sorrow?
Sing a song
Mark sat on Wes' other side and pulled him close. He started singing too:

Is it wrong?
To put all our hopes together
And wish for something better?
Is it wrong
To belong?
To face the future with another
Who means more than any other
Is to belong –
Bastian took Wes' hands with one hand and pushed Wes' hair out of his eyes, smiling at him and then sang gently:

We'll paint the grey clouds
With pretty rainbow hues
And we'll brush the gloom away
And save it for a rainy day
Rainy day
Oh today! – The four guys looked up as the other oldest Warblers sang:

If troubles cast a shadow
And shadows makes the sun afraid to stay
But it's okay
'Cause there will be sunshine shinin'
And we'll find a silver linin' another day

The Warblers hummed along as Jerry took Wes' hands and started to talk.

"Kiddo we don't care about you being gay, straight, bi or crippled", he said sharply. "You'll always have us by your side. Is that so hard to understand?"

Wes didn't answer he just sobbed. Jerry knew what would help. Bastian read his minds and wrapped his arms around Wes' waist and hugged him. Mark joined in the hug as well and one by one the others did too. Wes stopped crying after a while and started smiling again. He was safe and sound with his brothers and they would always love him.

"Besides", Bastian said. "now I got a chance at y-OW!"

"Shut up Bastian", Justine said after swatting him on the head. Everyone laughed. Things would never change between them. Never.

I haven't updated since election day? Yikes so sorry for the wait!
