Chapter 1
She was dead asleep her tired body buried in the covers. Her black hair contrasting greatly with the white sheets.
The door to the room she was in creaked open enough for an orange haired boy to squeeze through letting light in before closing the door again.
The room was once again pitch black as he numbly stumbled to her bed.
"Kagome...Kagome...Kagome," he called her name slowly.
She didn't wake so he laid beside her sleeping form and pulled her close he looked at her sleeping face leaning in his lips touched her soft full ones.
"Ichigo..." He snapped back and looked at her face again to find her still sleeping.
He kissed her again before getting under the covers with her.
"I love you," he whispered to her sleeping conscious before joining her.
Hours later light filtered into the room shining right into the raven haired girls closed blue orbs.
"nnnmmm..."she moaned rolling over and into her cousin. She stared at his relaxed face for a moment running her nimble fingers down his jawline.
"Ichigo wake up," she whispered lowly but it woke him up eyes fluttering then he looked at her in her eyes. "Why do you always find my bed when you have nightmares?"She asked pulling him close amd hugging him.
"Because momma isn't here and father is weird," he whispered to her.
She nodded understanding him she kissed his forehead lightly smiling at him.
"Ichigo!" he came back to, he looked at his friend Keigo.
"Dude! Are you alright? You totally spaced out for a moment there." His friend yelled, asked, then stated while Chad nodded in confirmation.
"Yea I'm alright, just thinking about my cousin coming over to stay for a while." He said smiling trying to convince them.
"Ohhh so who's this cousin and what're they like." He asked getting all giddy on getting information on a maybe new student who might be a cute girl.
"Her name's Kagome and I'm not quite sure anymore." Ichigo said to them.
"Huh?! Come on! YOU HAVE TO TELL ME SOMETHING!" Keigo just seemed to burst.
"Well when we were little she was like a mother hen and she was kind and gentle but she really had a sharp tongue for those who dared to cross her or the ones she cared for," Ichigo face split into a grin as memories ran in his mind theater.
"Ohhh sounds like she was your first love," Kago said jokingly laughing.
"Yea she is," Ichigo said as his friend stopped laughing and looked at him.
"WHAT?!" Keigo shouted making Chad chuckle.
"Yea we were always together I'm surprised you don't remember her you guys use to tease me about her all the time." Ichigo said.
"Hmmm," Keigo contemplated rubbing his chin.
"Do you have her picture?" Chad asked slowly.
"Yea," Ichigo answered digging through his back pocket pulling out his wallet.
He showed them a picture of when they were younger and a picture from a year ago.
"Wow Ichigo your cousin is hot!" proclaimed Keigo before he was whacked upside the head by an angry Ichigo.
"Who do you think you're calling hot?!" Ichigo shouted chasing after Keigo seeing how he chose to run away leaving Chad to chuckle at their behavior finishing his lunch just as the bell rung.
