Chapter 7
Kagome pressed the end button just as a black sleek car pulled in front of her.
The window slowly slid down.
"Get in." A black haired male in a suit and shades said.
Kagome half smiled opening the door and climbing in.
The Maserati pulled off, slipping onto a main road. The silence rung in the air until Kagome cleared her throat.
The man brought a hand to his face removing the shades to reveal gold eyes.
"Kagome…" He started to say. Kagome raised a brow, not knowing what to say was not like him.
"It's been awhile." He smiled looking over to her, she smiled back.
"Yes, it has."
The pair sat in further silence as he turned off the main road, driving far out of the city.
"Ah, that's why I couldn't find you." She quietly said to herself letting her senses trace of the land, she smirked as some brushed back before she passed them.
"There's a lot of you."
"Well yes, there's Sango's and Miroku's descendants, my children and grandchildren, and Inuyasha's." He went slowly across the names and almost stopped at Inuyasha's name.
Kagome smiled weakly before looking back out the window.
The car slowed as it drove into a driveway stopping in front of mansion.
Before she could stop her marvelling and open her door, it was being opened for her, a hand grasped hers and led her out, pulling her toward the mansion.
The doors opened against a brush of her arua. She smiled at what stood before her.
Standing in front of the crowd of people was a tall man, a deadly smirk graced his features, gold eyes lit with something akin to happiness, a tailored suit fit him in all the right ways, and white hair that fell to his back.
"Sesshomaru." She smiled, tears trying to escape her eyes but she held them in and she almost rushed forward to hug him.
"Welcome home Kagome." He smiled genuinely hugging her close.
The man behind her cleared his throat, his hair no longer black, eyes no longer gold, red hair danced over his shoulders and green eyes peered forward.
"Don't hog my mother! I haven't seen her either." He all but teased at Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru lost his smile and almost rolled his eyes at the other youkai.
"You had her the whole car ride." He said in a tone like he couldn't be bothered.
Kagome laughed, her tears that had welled up in her eyes before were falling, she wiped at them.
"I missed you guys." She said, smiling, she turned and look at the crowd of people behind Sesshomaru.
Shippo noticed as well and smiled.
"This is your family Kagome. Here's my children and grandchildren, kids say hi to your grandmother." He smiled over to his.
Three women, who looked to be in their early-mid twenties, with red hair, one with green eyes, another with blue, and the other with a soft brown, step forward. Two men, also in the early twenties mid twenties range, stepped forward, both with brown hair, one with brown eyes the other green. Along with the adults four children stepped out.
Shippo walked over to the male with brown eyes and the woman with blue.
"This is my son, Daichi and his mate Hikari," He smiled as the youngest of the children came over to the pair. "This is their child Aito." He bent down and picked up the 2 year old boy.
"It's nice to meet you grandmother." Daichi smiled, Kagome smiled back and hugged him, he hugged back awkwardly before Kagome let go and hugged his mate.
Kagome stepped back again, this was the happiest she has ever been since returning.
"It's nice to meet you to Daichi and Hikari."
Shippo grabbed her elbow and directed her to another pair, the last male and green eyed woman, he smiled handing the toddler to Kagome.
"This is my first twin Eiji and his mate Andrea," He walked over to the children and grabbed the hands of a 5 year old boy and 6 year old girl. "Here are there kids Hitomu, the boy, and Kaiya."
Eiji face split into a fox like smile, his heritage clear as day.
"If I wasn't mated, I wouldn't mind getting lost in your pretty blues." It took a moment for Kagome to realise he was flirting with her, it would seem that Miroku had surely rubbed off on Shippou and he his son.
She laugh a bit when his mate gasped and smacked his arm, he winced and rubbed it but a smirk was still on his lips.
Kagome could tell that this happened often and couldn't help but be reminded of Sango and Miroku.
She waved at the kids as Shippou pulled her along as Andrea was scolding Eiji.
The last two of the group was the last woman and the last child, the woman was obviously Eiji's twin and Kagome was pondering as to what her personality would be like, her father's, her mother's, or a clash of the two, and if the child was hers, the boy looked like her but she wasn't mated.
"And this is the last twin, Mao," He smiled as he went to hold hands with the 3 year old boy behind his only daughter, but he backed away and hid behind her.
"Ah." He sighed standing back up. "Well Koji has always been a little shy since his mother passed away."
He turned toward Koji and kneeled before him.
"Mommy RIn would have like for you to meet you Grandma. Can you say hi?"
Kagome watched as the boy peeked out then shyly waved.
She smiled and waved back.
Shippou smiled this was more than he could have asked for, Kagome had been back a year, yet she didn't contact them, not that she could find them, they couldn't contact her, it was against the rules of the wish and who ever contacted her from the past would die. That wasn't what the broken girl needed. HIs eyes fogged over and a memory hit him.
Kagome stood in the swaying grass, her white miko robes red, her hair danced in the wind, and her eyes empty and broken.
He shuddered, he looked back at Kagome surrounded by his family, their family, and smiled, RIn would have been happy to see this.

I really like your book but I see you don't update frequently and that's a total let down. anyways the plot seems like it would take a long time to complete but I guess it was the only way to add Kagome. But how do you plan on getting to the Arancar Arc at the pace you update?
Well thank you for liking it, and sorry I don't update frequently but hey, we live and we learn and I learned that I suck at updating something on a set plot. This wasn't the only way to add Kagome I thought of many other scenarios but this one gave me more versatility, see most writers, well the ones I read, don't do a major plot change and thus stay really close to the main plotline of the anime or manga, well that's fine and dandy but that tends to portray wrongly to me. SO yeah, I don't update much and since it's going slow now doesn't mean it'll stay slow of that the events that happened in the manga and anime or still going to happen in the same order, if you noticed Rukia was told to stay in the land of the living so they won't have to fight to get her and blah blah blah.
So Alexis, I'm sure the question is what's going to happen next since nothing is ever going to be the same.
