A/N: Hello. Short update coming your way. Just playing through random thoughts. But good news comes, so I have to share.

OOOOOOOOOOOO

Samantha wrapped herself more tightly in her coat as she walked down the street, sipping her pop from the gas station down the street. She let out a little cry as she was pulled into the shadows of a tree and lips descended on hers. But they were familiar and sent heat coursing through her veins. She slid a hand up and touched the scruff that covered his cheek as she kissed him back.

"Hello David," she whispered when the man pulled back to let her breathe. "Is this how you greet me now?"

David's ice blue eyes were blazing in the dark. "I want you."

"To what?" Samantha asked, feeling slightly confused.

"I want you," David repeated, pulling her flush against his body. "It's been too long."

Samantha's mouth dropped open in a small "o" and she tried to step back, but David's grip was firm. "You had me, what, three weeks ago?"

"Too damn long," David growled, grazing his nose against the girl's neck. "I remember when we didn't go a night without being together."

Samantha remembered too. "So you're saying you miss me?"

David growled, but said nothing.

"David, you know I haven't been in the right place for a while now," Samantha reminded him, stroking his feather soft hair at the base of his neck. "It's not like I don't miss you too. Because I do. I miss mucking around with you and the Boys. I miss the moments we share, just me and you. I miss all of it. I just need to get to a point where I am taking care of myself properly and find that peace again."

David remained silent and yet, Samantha could feel his fingers tightening at her waist.

"David, I planned on telling you something good," Samantha said, staring into the darkness. "Because finally, something good happened to me since I lost my job with that giant retail store hellhole."

"And?"

"I got a call back from one of my applications. I'm supposed to start at a smaller, quieter store soon." She smiled. "I won't be touched by anything from that evil corporation. And hell yeah, no more sister getting me in trouble. It's slow, small, and perfect for me for now. I can stay there for as long as they need me."

David's head popped up and he looked her dead in the eye. "You have a job?"

"Yep."

David's swung her around and pushed her down the street. Samantha was confused. She tried to drag her heels. David had none of it and pushed her with more force, but not enough to knock her over. Just enough to keep her moving.

"David, what's happening?" Scarlet asked, almost spilling her soda.

"Getting you back to your apartment," David told her. "Celebration time. Party all night long, sleep the day away."

"Except I need to get up early in the morning and somehow come up with the money to buy new jeans," Samantha commented, frowning. "New job requires decent fitting jeans and I've gained weight since I've been off. Plus there's chores and…If I celebrate with you, I'll be sleeping all day from exhaustion."

David chuckled. "You act like you don't have a man with money."

"Does it look like I like taking money from you?"

"No, but I'm making you do it anyway." David pushed her up the front walk of her townhouse apartment. "Because I fucking can and I fucking will." He reached into her pocket and pulled out her key, fitting it into the lock. "And you can deal with it just like you're dealing with the fancy phone I bought you."

"Meh," Samantha muttered, stepping inside and clicking on a light. "You spoil me too much. All four of you do."

David closed and locked the door behind him. He pushed her against the door and looked down into her eyes. "Such a bad thing, right? So terrible." His nose brushed against hers. "Whatever are you going to do?"

Samantha tossed her drink in the trash and looked at him. "David…"

"It's not like you don't deserve to be happy…" David's lips grazed hers. "Because that's all we want…that's all I want…" His eyes were blazing, almost hypnotic when he looked at hers. "I want you."

The girl melted under his stare and raised herself onto her tiptoes. She kissed him heatedly and he pressed her between his body and the door as he took the kiss deeper and deeper. Samantha felt him tug off her coat and then he spun her away from the door to go to the cheap couch.

OOOOOOOOOOO

Samantha cuddled with David on the couch after God knows how long of him pounding into her and her body ached. He seemed satisfied but like he wanted more, even though Samantha swore she couldn't take it. She would most likely need a soak in the tub after this, just like she found out helped after every other time they were together. David had a cigarette between his lips, but thanks to her complex's rules, he didn't light it. She almost missed the scent of the cigarette smoke around both of them.

"So, you got me in bed," Samantha commented, shivering under a blanket. "Well, couch. Something. You got me in something. And made me waste my pop to get here." She smacked him lightly on his chest. "Bad David."

"No, Bad David would have taken you upstairs and used all those fun little toys in your closet on you," David told her. "I'm Good David with spiciness."

Samantha rolled her eyes. "Be glad you're cute."

David cleared his throat.

"Excuse me," Samantha said, patting him gently on the chest. "Be glad you're a fucking sex god."

"That's more like it," David said, pulling his cigarette from between his lips. "You seem cold. Why don't you put some clothes on and I'll play with your heater." He pointed at her unused fireplace. "Though I don't understand why you don't buy shit for that fucking thing."

"Because I'm poor and I don't want to burn down my home with my fire baby tendencies," Samantha reminded him as she sat up. "I'm going to go upstairs to get pajamas. Get dressed and stay here."

"Bossy."

"Asshole."

Samantha quickly ran upstairs and put on a new set of clothes, ready to crash. But she had to see if David was still around. She ran back downstairs and looked towards the couch. David sat there, dressed and looking up towards her. There was something in his eyes that she knew she reflected in hers.

"I'm going to have to go hunt soon," David announced, tucking his cigarette behind his ear. "You've woken the appetite in me." When Samantha sat next to him, he stroked her cheek. "You don't know how tempting it is to make you one of us every time we meet. How easy it would be." His fingers trailed to her neck. "It would be so easy and quick. And you wouldn't be such a fragile little thing anymore."

"You love me as a fragile little thing though," Samantha reminded him, shivering.

David nodded slowly and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Right." He moved to his feet and looked down at her. "The money that you need for your little shopping spree is on the end of the couch. Spend it at will. Treat yourself." He moved towards the door. "I don't want the change."

"Except mine," Samantha commented, watching him.

David smirked and disappeared into the night.

OOOOOOOOOO

A/N: I am happy with this and how it's progressing. It's so different from Theirs, but similar. You know? Anyway, have a good morning and I'll be around later. Thanks. -Scarlet
