"You'll be alright," Aurea Juniper said. She'd brought Kenya and the two boys into her lab. The first boy was named Bobby. The boy who got bit was named Ron. Kenya watched from nearby as Aurea dressed Ron's leg.

Bobby was a younger boy, around Kenya's age. Ron was a few years older.

"My stomach hurts," Bobby said. "That thing tackled me."

"What were the three of you doing out there?" Aurea asked. "Trying to catch pokemon?"

"I wasn't with them!" Kenya blurted out. "I was on my way home." Aurea glanced at her.

"She tried to help me," Ron said. Aurea helped him onto his feet.

"Can you stand?" She asked. Ron tested his leg, nodding.

"Thanks, lady."

"Call me Professor Juniper," Aurea said.

"But there's already a Professor Juniper," Ron said.

The three children left the lab. Bobby turned to Kenya.

"Bye," he said. The two boys ran home. Kenya noticed a woman approaching from Route 1. Lauren.

"What's going on?" Lauren asked as she got closer. Kenya explained that she stayed at Bianca's house for dinner and what happened with the Herdier. Lauren asked her to wait outside of the lab. She knocked on the door.

Aurea opened the door and peeked out.

"Can I help you?"

It'd been weeks since the incident. The Trainer School was running smoothly. Cedric came by for a few classes, watching over Aurea as she instructed the children. She led them out onto Route 1 and showed them how to catch pokemon. She led them into the forest and showed them pokemon in their natural habitats. They took a boat down the river onto Route 17 and Aurea taught them to fish.

The class was just being let out when Aurea was confronted by a parent. It was Cheren's father.

"I thought these children were going to be instructed by Professor Juniper," Cheren's father said. "Why hasn't he been instructing them?"

"I am Professor Juniper," Aurea said.

"Cedric Juniper," Cheren's father said. "The real professor!" Cheren and Andrew watched nearby as the two of them argued back and forth. Cheren's father eventually backed off and took the boys home.

Cedric was waiting in the lab when Aurea returned. He was sitting at her desk, reading papers.

"Is this the latest quiz?" He asked. Aurea nodded.

"The average has gone up, most of them got high Bs." Cedric scoffed. He lined the papers up and set them on her desk.

"How long have this school been running?" He asked. "Three months?"

"Four," Aurea corrected him. "I'm planning a six-month semester. Perhaps we can start up again next year, I was thinking of using the old lab on Route 18. We could expand it, develop a grading system for children who've been enrolled longer and bring younger—"

"How many children do you expect to teach?" Cedric interrupted.

"Not by myself, of course," Aurea said. "I think we could integrate other instructors. I was speaking to some people, some older kids. A girl named Fennel would love to be involved." Cedric shook his head.

"I don't think this is working." Cedric rose from the chair, shaking his head. "We're not getting anything out of this."

"What?" Aurea turned to him. "Of course we're not getting anything out of it, it's not for us. It's for the children!" Cedric walked over to her, frowning.

"I'm shutting you down."

"You can't do this!" Aurea raised a finger to him. "I won't let you." Cedric held up a Pokeball, Aurea recognized it.

"You're working with Harmonia." Aurea's eyes widened, she snatched the Pokeball away. She backed away from him. "Say something!" Aurea shook her head.

"There's nothing to say," Aurea said. Cedric scowled.

"What are you trying to accomplish?"

"This has nothing to do with the school," Aurea snapped. "Don't make excuses!"

"One of your experiments attacked those children," Cedric added.

"It was a mistake!" Aurea shouted.

"Mistakes cannot be tolerated!" Cedric grabbed Aurea's arm, she pulled free and backed away. "Tell me, what are you trying to accomplish with those people?"

"Kyurem…" Aurea spoke in a low voice. "Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom." Cedric stared at her, waiting for her to continue. "We need to control them before they destroy us."

"You saw what Kyurem was capable of," Cedric started.

"Exactly!"

"They cannot be controlled!"

Aurea threw up her hands and stormed across the room.

"Well?" Cedric demanded. "What are you going to do?" Aurea slowly turned to him. "You're going to keep experimenting on pokemon? Putting people in danger?" Aurea hesitated.

Cedric approached Aurea.

"Please. Just stop." Aurea shook her head.

"There's something I need to tell you." She set the Pokeball down on a table. "About that Andrew boy."

Cedric Juniper passed away a few months later. Around that time, Andrew and Nathan's mother also passed away.

.

"What do you think?" Aurea asked, looking down at her Xtransceiver. Drayden's face filled the screen.

"I don't know," he admitted.

Aurea was seated on a bench in Accumula town. She was born and raised here. She thought back to her childhood. It'd been nearly two years since Cedric's death. She met Drayden's concerned look.

She and Drayden were neighbors. He was a few years older than her. The two of them would often go out exploring in the forest. They'd wander around and mess with pokemon. She hadn't seen him much since he'd been appointed gym leader of Opelucid.

"You know I would never hurt someone, right?" Aurea asked. "Not intentionally…"

"I know," Drayden said. "I know you're a good person." Aurea smiled sadly.

"Thank you." She turned a piece of ice in her hand. "I appreciate that." Drayden smiled.

"I'll talk to you in a bit," he said. "I have a challenger."

.

.

"I know what you did."

Aurea froze. She and Ghetsis Harmonia had met up on Route 18. They were discussing Zekrom's recent stirring when someone interrupted. She'd recognized the voice. She'd recognized the blue hair and dark skin. For a moment, she'd thought it was Lenora.

It was Lauren.

Aurea and Ghetsis turned to confront the intruder as she approached.

"What do you know?" Ghetsis asked.

"I'm not talking to you." Lauren turned her eyes onto Aurea. "I know about Cedric and that woman." Ghetsis didn't understand, he gave Aurea a confused look. Aurea didn't show any response.

"What's she talking about?" Ghetsis asked.

"She knows too much," Aurea said. "Deal with her."

.

.

For a few days, Lauren was missing. Soon, it was discovered that she as well had passed away.
