Once Félix arrived in Hawk Moth's Lair, he went over to her and his smile faded. He froze once he saw how angry she was.

"Sit. Down." Hawk Moth bellowed.

"Um... Yes, mistress." Félix gulped nervously.

His mother turned around and tapped her foot.

" I sent out an akuma and the victim failed to get me the Ladybug Miraculous. I assume you at least got some information on it, no?" Hawk Moth asked as her face was dark as the room they stood in.

"Yes. I know how it works, how she can instantly create lucky charms, and I even found a Miraculous for you, mistress. It's the White Cat Ring." He opened the box and showed her the ring. Vague flew out of it, immediately asking for fish.

The woman's frown turned into a grin. She pat her son's head.

"Very superb job, my boy. I'm very impressed! But I think you should turn into Chat Blanc and use these powers to get the Ladybug miraculous. And as for you, little Kwami. I'll get you some food." Hawk Moth turned back to her normal attire and walked out of the room.

"Oh boy! She's gonna give me all the fish I want! What a bargain! You two are gonna keep me a secret, right? I hope so..." Vague said as he smiled.

"Yes, I will. I promise. Tell me, how do the powers you bestow upon me work, exactly?" Félix asked.

"Well you say "Vague! Claws out! That's how you transform into Chat Blanc."

"Chat Blanc? Pretty cool name."

"Yes, you'll have the ability to shout "Cataclysm!" And erase anything you touch! But no one must see your transformation except for your mother! Got that?!"

"Crystal clear." Félix put a thumbs up.

The next day... Marinette finished the hat she worked on all night with her mother.

"It's perfect, honey!" Her mom smiled warmly as she hugged her.

"I dunno... It just looks like a fox tail with some feathers popping out of it. What if my hard work doesn't pay off?" The raven haired teen said awkwardly as she held the hat.

"I'm sure the class will love it, Marinette." Her mother reassured her.

'Hopefully..." Marinette shrugged. They then hugged each other.

Marinette packed her lunch, macaroons for Tikki, and her hat. She went on her blue bicycle and said goodbye to her mom.

She rode across the street when suddenly she heard a familiar voice shout "HEY!"

Marinette looked in that direction, and saw Félix waving at her. His green eyes sparkled, causing her to lose her balance and fall into a trash can. Her bike and backpack fell over as well.

"WOAH! Marinette! Are you okay?!" He ran over to her and stuck his hand out.

"I'm okay. I just got distracted by your...eyes..." Marinette blushed.

"Oh my gosh! I'm sorry! I'll put on some shades next time!" Félix said innocently.

"No no— You shouldn't! It was my fault obviously, I wasn't acting normal! Eh heh! I shouldn't get lost in people's dreamy- I mean big eyes while on a bike!" Marinette said making weird awkward movements. She then grabbed his hand. It felt soft causing her to shake as she got up.

"Um... Okay? You seem a bit off. Need an ice cream?" Félix asked her, trying his hardest to lure her in.

"No thanks. I've got school and I'm gonna run late if I don't turn in this hat on time!" She said as she picked up her backpack, Tikki feeling dizzy inside of it.

"I wanted to kinda hang out with you in the first place. I was just too busy to last time. I never got to experience what school was like... Maybe you can show me, madame?" Félix smiled, grabbing her hand.

"Um...sure thing. Just don't do anything funny, okay?" Marinette let go of his hand and put on her bike helmet. She then went on the bike as he looked her up and down. She was gorgeous to him, but he had to focus on what he really wanted.

"The only thing funny I've got is jokes!" Félix chuckled. People took pictures of him with their phones, but he ignored this.

"Okay! Can you keep up with my bike?" Marinette taunted, smiling a bit.

"I'm as fast as a panther, of course I can!" Felix smirked as his eyes beamed.

Marinette rode her bike, and oddly enough, Félix kept up with it no problem.

"Woah, do you run track?!" Marinette's eyes widened.

"Only indoors. My mom usually doesn't want me to compete, despite being made of money!" Félix laughed.

Marinette laughed along with him as she rode on her bike.

Once they made it to school, Marinette put her bicycle on a rack. She then locked it and Félix observed the place writing down notes.

"Um... You alright, man?" She turned over towards him.

"Oh! Yeah! Mom always told me to take notes on everything I see in case anyone's suspicious."

"You have a strict mom."

"Please, my mom is so scary, I thought the monster under my bed was my friend!" Félix joked. Alya gasped in jealousy once she saw Félix.

"HEY LOOK! IT'S FÉLIX DE VANILY!" She yelled, catching people's attention.

"OH MAN! CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH?!"

"WHY IS HE HERE?!"

"IS SHE FRIENDS WITH HIM?!"

"ARE THEY DATING?!" A bunch of teens from the high school yelled as the flocked towards them. They crowded around him and pushed Marinette out of the way.

"Please, one at a time! Take all the pictures you want!" Félix gave them a fake smile.

"Hey! Stop it! We're just friends!" Marinette growled.

"Well he's not worth your time, Marinette! I'm much prettier than you, richer, and more famous! He'd date a girl as successful as him!" Alya flicked her brown ponytail.

"What part of friends did you not get?!" Marinette crossed her arms.

"Sorry, Mari. I just gotta give my fans what they want. I'll talk to you later, okay?" Félix said as he signed books and papers. Suddenly, Alya pulled him uncomfortably close to her.

"Hey... I'm Alya Bourgeois! Nice to meet you! I love your latest fashion design! White suits are so in!" She said obnoxiously.

"Eh heh heh. Hi there. Um... My mom made the design, not me. Don't get so close." Félix sweat nervously.

Marinette grinded her teeth in anger, walking into the building.

She then sat at her assigned seat and took out her hat. Tikki flew out of her backpack.

"I'm sure he'll have space to talk to you next time, Marinette!" Tikki said as she went on her shoulder.

"Knowing how famous he is, I'd doubt he will. Especially the way Alya talked to him." Marinette grunted.

"Well I'm sure he's— MARINETTE LOOK OUT! AN AKUMA!" Tikki whisper yelled, seeing an akuma near Marinette's earring. Marinette screamed and swatted at the purple bug with her hat.

"Come on! Calm down...I've got to think of something that makes me happy!" Marinette whispered.

"Maybe... Um... Nathaniel, Nino, and Lila? ?! How they helped you in your baking class!" Tikki suggested.

"Yeah, that was pretty fun! But I liked helping them more!" Marinette smiled. The Akuma flew off.

Marinette was about to transform, but the rest of her class ended up walking in. She hid away Tikki and Lila greeted her.

"Hey Lila! Woah! Nice bowler hat!" Marinette said.

"Thank you, Marinette! I could say the same to your little orange winter hat!" Lila smiled.

"Woah! That is an awesome hat, I know I ain't a girl, but I'd wear it if I could!" Nino said as he went in his seat.

"Thanks, buddies!" Marinette blushed red.

"Ugh, look at her. She's beautiful, talented, and she's got friends! And all I've got is a bunch of fanbrats who only hang out with me cause of my fame! Well, and my mom but she's terrifying!" Félix whispered to Vague from behind a locker.

"Why not just be her true friend? You don't just have to do this for the miraculous." Vague whispered back.

"Pfft! Don't be silly, pussy cat! I need her just for that miraculous. Then my mom could finally appreciate me! Let's transform in the men's room!" Félix whispered to Vague. He then ran into the bathroom, made sure no other boy was there, and shouted: "Vague, claws out!"

He posed dramatically showing off his hand and the kwami said "WOOOAHH!" once he entered the silver ring. The ring turned completely white with a bright blue paw print on its face.

His hair also turned silvery white and it covered his normal ears. His suit turned into a textured white skin-tight catsuit with whitish silver metal details. Matching gloves that have claws on the fingertips appeared and so did matching boots with a hidden wedge, silver toes, and paw-shaped treads. He got a silver bell on his neck, connected to a zipper on the front of his costume, and a long belt that wraps around his waist and hangs out from the back like a tail waved behind him. He then flicked above his head causing white cat ears to appear. He sassily waved his hand in front of his face and a white mask around his eyes. His sclerae turned light blue with dark blue irises and oval pupils and his canines turned into fangs, turning into Chat Blanc!

"Now it's time to put on a totally different purr-sonality! There's no way she'll expect Chat Blanc to be her ever-so-sweet friend, Félix!" Chat Blanc creepily rubbed his hands together.

He then snuck into the classroom and crawled onto the ceiling with his claws. He wasn't used to this form so he felt a bit anxious.

"I made this hat entirely out of orange and white faux fur and black velvet. I know... It's a very odd design, but my grandmother used this velvet to make most of her fashion designs." Marinette explained.

"Very good job, Marinette! I loved the way you made it cozy and comfortable enough to wear on a snowy day! And it looks like it can go with a fancy coat! Anyone want to critique Marinette's hat?" Miss Bustier politely asked.

"I WOULD BE HATTY TO!" Chat Blanc jumped from the ceiling and snatched Marinette's hat away. Everyone screamed in surprise and he jumped out the open window.

'Why does it always happen in the classroom?!' Marinette thought before running out the door.

"Wait! Everyone stay calm and evacuate the classroom slowly! We'll go to the art room to continue our presentations!" Bustier said as the students panicked trying to hide their hats.

"Sorry, Miss Bustier, but I gotta get my art project back!" Marinette said to her peaking back into the classroom.

She then ran outside towards the back of a building and transformed into Ladybug. She then saw Blanc playing with the hat.

The Akuma then went in his face, causing the Hawk Moth symbol to appear on him.

"What are you doing, son?! You're supposed to capture the miraculous!" Hawk Moth yelled at him.

"I'm distracting her. Don't worry, it's gonna be a great plan! No need to akumitize me!" Blanc smiled. The symbol dissappeared once Ladybug got up there.

"Nice to finally meet you, gorgeous. I've heard a lot about you. I'm the strong and confident, Chat Blanc!" Chat Blanc slowly walked up to her.

"Give back my friend Marinette's hat!" Ladybug demanded.

"I'll give back the damn hat, as soon as you give me your miraculous!" He darted at her and kicked her down. He then put a foot on her chest and tried to violently rip her earrings off. Ladybug held his arm back, swung it, and body slammed him.

He accidentally dropped the hat off the building as he fell.

"No!" Ladybug dived after the hat and swung by her yo-yo. Blanc struggled to get up as his nose bled. He saw the segment of the building that had the yo-yo's string tied to it.

"Cataclysm!" Blanc touched the part of the building Ladybug swung off of of. It dissappeared into a white void, as if that section was erased like a drawing on paper. She roughly fell into a car and the hat fell on a fire hydrant. People ran and screamed. Some even called the police.

Ladybug shook her head and rubbed the scar on her cheek.

"Oh no oh no! Ouuuch!" Ladybug groaned. She got off of the car and looked at the fire hydrant.

"I'm surprised I'm not dead by that impact... Maybe the lady bug armor is more powerful than I thought!" Ladybug whispered.

"Ohhh ladybuuuug! Give me your miraculoooouuus!" Blanc sung insanely. He looked down at her with a sharp fanged smile, then jumped from the roof, the blood from his nose flying upwards.

She ran up to the hydrant and grabbed the hat.

Blanc landed on his feet and hands, looking like a cat with an arched back.

Ladybug jumped on a bunch of cars and tried to escape the crazed boy. He followed her while jumping on cars as well, mimicking her every move with laughter.

The citizens of Paris took pictures and talked about the situation. Lila wrote about it in her blog and wondered where Chat Blanc came from. She ran after the two. Once Chat was close enough to Ladybug, he tackled her and tried to yank off her earrings. Ladybug struggled in his arms and tried to push him of. Chat Blanc was way stronger than he looked. He took off one earring, and was about to take off the other when suddenly...

BONK!

Lila knocked him out with her backpack.

He fell on the ground, causing half of the miraculous to drop out of his white claws.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much, miss—"

"Lila. Call me Lila Rossi. I believe this is yours, hero." She said, picking up the earring and giving it to her.

"Right! And you can call me Ladybug. I'll contact the police and let them know what happened." Ladybug took the earring from her.

She then said "Miraculous ladybug!" And reversed the damage done to the cars. She picked up the hat and went into the girl's bathroom, turning back into her civilian form.

"Woo... That was a lot to deal with... The biggest thing is covering up the injuries from my parents." Marinette rubbed her back.

"Do you need any help with that, Marinette? Are you okay?" Tikki politely said.

"Yes, I'm fine, Tikki. Thanks for your concern."

That night... Marinette was woken up by loud French party music. She opened up the window and said: "Excuse me! Hi! Do you think you could just maybe turn the music down... ...just a little bit?!"

"GET A LIFE!" A hairy man inside the other building said.

"Okay..." She sighed before closing the window.

"Maybe you should listen to some calming music, Marinette." Tikki suggested.

"Great idea! It'll help block out the party!" Marinette got out her music player and put on her headphones. She listened to the sounds of the ocean.

She slowly drifted off to sleep.

She dreamed about being a fashion designer working for her mother. She made a red dress with puffy sleeves and white frills on the bottom.

"I'm not pleased. This isn't even close to what I wanted. I can't imagine what on earth you were thinking!" Marinette's mom said pulling at the dress.

"I am so sorry..." Marinette said embarrassed.

"I mean, look at this red! It's all wrong! I wanted it darker!" Her mother stomped her foot as the pink room darkened.

"I specifically heard you say you wanted red with a teeny—"

"I know what I said!"

"I won't show the industry this just yet, I can fix it. If you give me a chance, I know I can fix it!"

"You have one more day, Marinette, and if this goes wrong, the company is screwed!" Her mother warned. She then walked out of the dark room and slammed the door.

Suddenly, the room got pitch black. Two large blue cat like eyes starred down at her like moons. Marinette backed away in horror as a row of pointy white teeth appeared under said eyes, almost looking like a chesire cat. She took the dress and ran and ran, but no matter what the figure was always behind her. She saw a hand reach out to her. She was grabbed by the hand and got yanked forward, only to see Chat Blanc with that same cursed smile! She screamed in fear as he tried to mawl her ears off. She woke up frightened!

End of Chapter 2.
