Silas smiles, watching her from a distance. He's unsure if she could sense him or not but if she could she's acting as if she can't. He wants to approach her and inquire her about that date but he feels as if now's not the right time. She's been spending a lot of personal time with his doppelgänger, private time as compared to when he first started watching her. They would go out all the time either together or separately but now somethings changed and he can't quite figure out what that something was. Maybe he needs to follow Stefan to get the full picture. It could be his way of preventing them from ever getting some time alone, pretending that there's a crisis going on in his life to keep Bonnie's mind away from himself. If that were to be the case, Silas would be extremely happy. That means his efforts of trying to win his lover's heart are actually succeeding. He decides to make himself known to her.
"My love," he calls out, jogging across the street to her then hugs her. "How have you been?"
"Um, okay, I guess. How about you?"
"Unwell. I haven't gotten my date with you yet."
"Silas, I- I can't, okay, Stefan is— now isn't a good time."
"I understand. I just wanted to see you, is all." He turned around.
"Wait," Bonnie sighed. "Do you have any means of communication?"
"Like a cellular device?"
She smiled. "Yes,"
"I do not but I may purchase one. May you help me?"
Bonnie glanced at her watch. "Okay, but it can't be long."
"Of course, my love."
They started walking.
"You know since you refuse to tell me her name, my friend Caroline and I had no choice but to name her Matilda."
He chuckled. "She would've enjoyed that."
"Tell me about her,"
"She was my life, my entire world. I wanted many children with her, I wanted to marry her, die with her. She cared for everyone, could relate to your feelings in an instant even though she may not have felt that emotion before. She was the perfect woman, I knew not they existed until I met her."
"How did you two meet?" She glances over and smiled slightly seeing one on his face.
"Um, we met in this abandoned building. We knew not of each other's presence, so wrapped up in our minds. Then suddenly I hear a soft chanting. I follow it and before my eyes she was glowing in the candlelight, saying a spell. Her eyes opened immediately at me and she wasn't afraid. She didn't gasp or back away or try to escape, she just watched my eyes and that's when I fell in love with her. I ended up turning away on my own but the next day at dawn I went back and waited for her to arrive and when she did, I knew it was fate."
"Did she accept you right away?"
"Of course not," they laughed some. "It didn't help that for the first few times of meeting, I could barely speak because I was so powerless against her beauty. But as I finally started speaking, I could tell that I had a chance so I didn't stop and gladly so."
Bonnie smiled. "How did she die, if you don't mind me asking,"
"I wish I knew, my love. She had a child, at least one so you could be created so I just wish she was happy."
"How were you able to have a child?"
"As a witch, there are spells, some work others don't."
"You're wife, did she make you happy?" She watched the look on his face give her the answer to her question.
"It's not that I didn't love her, but I could never have been happy if I wasn't with— Matilda."
They smiled and walked the rest of the way in comfortable silence. Bonnie picked out an easy pre-paid phone with a touchscreen and handed it to the man behind the register. She paid for it then they walked out.
"Silas, where are you staying?"
"My residence?"
She nodded.
"I'm not sure of its name, it's abandoned."
"Can you spell us there? I can help you set it up before I truly have to leave."
He nodded then took her hand, leading her to the nearest ally and spelled them to his location. Bonnie looked around the white building, she could tell that he cleaned it up a lot for it to actually be abandoned.
"Would you like to see her?"
She turned, facing him. "I would,"
He nodded then walked over to the table that was in the middle of the room and picked up the picture, she presumed before walking back over to her. He smiled at it before handing it over.
"Wow," Bonnie let out a breath feeling as if she's looking in a mirror. "Is it bad if I were to comment on her beauty?"
Silas smiles. "Of course not for it is true."
Bonnie handed the photo back then went to go sit on the couch to get started on the phone. He joined her shortly, watching her work. He knew a lot was on her mind and as he was about to ask her what exactly her questions were, she spoke.
"Silas, I feel as though you're looking at me as Matilda and not as Bonnie. I don't blame you, we look exactly alike and by your stories, I can see how I am like her, but I don't want you to believe that you love me just because we share a face."
"And understand and apologize if my stories made you feel as such, but I know who you are, Bonnie Bennett. Not to frighten you, but I have been watching you for quite some time, wondering if you were her, but you're not and I know that. I cannot help but make comparisons for you remind me so much of her but you are also different. Your hair, the way you dress and speak, your confidence towards everyone. Your kiss," He watched her lips the eyes, "passion."
"What do you mean?"
"You embrace your sexuality unlike she did. It was a different time and as I mentioned our love was forbidden so I mustn't blame her. When we kissed, though it was acting on your part, I felt trapped in your love. You jumped in my arms and met our lips as if you didn't want me to escape you and your love."
"I was—"
"I understand, but I see the way you are with him and there's no difference. I love that about you." He grabbed her chin, forcing their eyes to meet then leaned in connecting their foreheads. "May I kiss your neck?"
No. "Yes," her eyes closed as his lips met her skin and her breathing became heavy.
He pulled her on his lap and moved his hands along her body, soaking in as much of her as he could and as she would allow. He was forcefully pulled back by her hand around his neck. He watched her eyes then sped her up to his bedroom, hovering above her. She grabbed his shirt pulling him down into her, meeting their lips. He kisses her back immediately, working on removing their clothing and they tossed and turned until they were fully undressed. He held her as she straddled him and closed his eyes at her warmth and tightness as she moved along him. He met their lips, kissing her softly then attended her breasts, squeezing and sucking before turning her to her back. His hips thrust into her causing his name to spill from her mouth and her legs to spread more for him, causing him to sink deeper inside her. She threw her head back and gripped his sheets as his pace increased.
…
Stefan opened the door to her and let out a small breath. "I thought we agreed-"
"I know, I just wanted to see you. You turned it off." She frowned.
"I don't have time for your judgment."
"I'm not judging you, I just- do you think that's the best idea considering?"
"Goodbye, Bonnie." He closed the door and locked it. He started up the stairs but her knocking repeatedly caused him to stop.
"I could just spell myself in there, you know," she shouted to make sure she was heard. "I'm trying to be nice here," she took a step back unexpectedly as the door flew open.
"What do you want?"
"I want to see you as I said. Ask how you're doing with control."
"I'm fine."
"Why did you break up with me?"
"Because this isn't what you signed up for. I'm not going to drag you down with me. Go be with Silas or whomever, I don't care. Just get off my porch." He closed the door to her again.
Bonnie stopped her tears from spilling. "Fine." She walked away.
Stefan sighed watching her get into her car from his window and drive off. He handed Silas to her on a silver platter and if she takes the bait it'll prove to him that she didn't care about him at all, to begin with. She claims she's not Elena but he'd be the judge of that.
Silas smiles watching her glowing eyes. Here in this moment with her was all he's ever wanted and it's finally happening. Genuine happiness of being in each other's presence. He didn't have to beg or plead for her to visit, she just knocked and he hasn't been this happy in a while. Their passion earlier made him feel full and satisfied but being here now with her filled his spirits with happiness.
"What are you thinking about?"
He smiled, moving his hand to the side of her face. "You, us."
"Si,"
"Shh," he kissed her gently. "I just want this moment with you."
"Okay,"
He strokes her cheek with his thumb then kisses her twice before holding her close in his arms. He exhaled feeling her snuggle against him. "What's wrong, my love?"
"I'm not sure you'll want to know,"
"I do,"
She let out a breath. "Stefan, he started ripping again, not as bad as before but I was helping him control then he gets distant and breaks up with me. He says dealing with him isn't what I signed up for."
"Is it?"
"Yes and no. When I first started dating Stefan, he had his emotions off, his switch flipped and I guess there was always a part of me that knew something like this could happen. But then he switched it ON and those thoughts went away. I mean it's obviously going to be something that'll be with him always so I guess I did sign up for it. He was my boyfriend, you're supposed to deal with all the aspects of him or her. In some way or the other, at least."
"Hm,"
"You don't agree?"
"No, I do, it's just that- you think out loud. I've never heard a person do such, it is as if you forget you're in public and you're just talking to yourself."
She smiled. "I do it quite often, I'm afraid."
"Don't be. I like it."
"Silas?"
"Yes?"
"Tell me about yourself. I feel as though you know so much about me and I barely know you other than your relationship with Matilda."
He smiled. "Over dinner, perhaps? In a lovely restaurant,"
She rolled her eyes having him chuckle. "Okay,"
…
Stefan stopping his jogging seeing a familiar car pull up to the boardinghouse. He watched and once his suspicions were confirmed, he started jogging up to her. Elena turned and smiled watching his arms before meeting his eyes.
"You're back?"
"I'm back." She shrugged.
"How was everything?"
She sighed, "Being there, everything was so clear but the moment I enter Mystic Falls, my clarity turns blurry."
He nodded. "That's the spell over this place. But if you could remember what your heart chose, stick with it. Don't let this town fool you." He offered a smile.
She smiled back. "Stefan, I was—"
"Elena?" They looked over, seeing Damon walking toward them. "Y-you're back,"
"You don't sound too happy about it,"
"No, I am. It's just I wasn't expecting- it doesn't matter, how are you?"
"Well. I think we have a lot to talk about."
He nodded. "Yeah,"
"I'll let you two have some privacy. See ya later," he started his jogging again.
Three miles down the road he's hit with her house. Her car is there so he guesses she's home or maybe Silas came to pick her up. He digs his fingernails into his skin to stop him from spiraling as Bonnie had suggested while also breathing deeply. He opens his eyes hearing her heart beating and jumps up in her tree before the roof that leads to her window. He watches her, getting hit with deja vu. She's searching through her closet this time and a minute later pulls out a golden dress which he's never seen before. He swallowed watching her undress completely before slipping it on. She's fucking perfect it makes him growl realizing that she will be going on a date with another guy looking like that. She's his girl. He watches as she gathers her hair to the top of her head, trying out hairstyles and he thinks she's settled on a half up half down look. He's personally always loved when she wore her down so it could give him the excuse to move it behind her ears which would always trigger a smile. He jumped down, then knocked on her door a few times before stepping back. He listened as she curses, probably looking for something to cover her but he hopes she doesn't take the dress off. When the door opens, he could see the shock on her face but he looks at her body then meets their eyes. "You look beautiful."
"Thank you,"
"You're going out with him? On that date,"
"Yes,"
He nods. "Lookin like that?"
"I don't- I don't know, maybe." She probably watched his eyes. "I thought you didn't care."
"What if I told you I want you back?"
She closed her eyes. "You can't keep doing this to me. Playing with my heart like it's easy for me to put it back together after you break it. This would be our third time getting back together in the span of almost two months. What does that say about us?"
"That I'm an idiot. I push you away when I need you the most."
"And how do you plan on fixing that?" She crossed her arms.
"I don't know,"
"Well come back when you figure it out then maybe I'll give you another chance." She closed her door but his hand stopped it from shutting completely. "What are you doing?" She inhaled sharply as he pulled her body close to his.
He watched her eyes, tightening his hold on her hips. "You fucked him." Their eyes watered, watching each other. "You said you wouldn't."
"That was before,"
"Before what?"
"Before you broke up with me. I said I wouldn't cheat and I didn't."
He closes his eyes and Bonnie is surprised as he hugs her. His hold very soft but his head weighed down on her shoulder. She feels herself sinking into him, absorbing his need for comfort by wrapping her arms around his but before she could, he was gone.
…
Bonnie tried to focus but her mind was on Stefan and that moment earlier. She doesn't know why a simple hug could take over her mind but it is and she feels bad for it because she's supposed to be focused on Silas right now. So she shakes herself out of her head and focuses on the man in front of her who looks exactly like the man she's trying to erase from her mind.
"I must be boring you, my apologies," Silas frowned, embarrassed.
"No, Silas," she moved her hand on top of his, "I'm sorry, it's not you, I just have something on my mind.
"What is it?" He moves his hand to cover hers.
"Nothing, it's just- Stefan?"
Silas looked over watching his shadow self sit beside him in the booth. "What are you doing here?"
"Stefan, this isn't a good idea,"
"I compelled everyone here."
"So again I ask what are you doing here?"
"I came to get my witch back." He watched her eyes, smiling seeing her stop from forming on of her own.
"So you admit that you have lost her?"
"By no one's doing but my own."
Silas chuckled. "If you wish to believe."
"You know what—"
"Please, Stop, please. I- I don't like this at all."
"Forgive me, my love," Silas grabbed her hand again then kissed the back of it.
"I just don't want to be argued over. Stefan, you've broken my heart more than anyone ever has and Silas, being with you, though you deny it, a part of me can't convince the other half of me from believing that you're thinking of me as Matilda and that's not a good feeling."
Silas waved his hand, temporarily stopping time, and teleported beside her. "Bonnie, I can assure you that I only see you as yourself. My biggest regret is when we first met, I talked as if you were her, and I shouldn't have."
"If you don't see me as her, then I need you to tell me her name. Her real name."
He briefly looked away, exhaling. "Her name was Desurijah."
"Desurijah,"
He nodded. "She danced with the wind, and you dance with the wind, but you are not her, just as she isn't you."
"Okay,"
He moved in to meet their lips, kissing her deeply until she pulled away for air. "And since I love you so, I won't harm him."
She chuckled and he smiled, moving his hand to the side of her face.
"You're so beautiful, my love,"
"Thank you," She smiled, watching his eyes. "Are you going to keep time frozen?"
"Just for a while longer. I want you to experience how my world is when you're right in front of me." He closed his eyes as her lips crashed into his and shortly opened his mouth to hers, kissing her deeply and passionately. He held her face feeling his pants tighten in the front then moved her onto his lap before holding her ass. He moved his hands to push the straps of her dress down her shoulders, having it pool at her hips.
Bonnie took her hands out and pulled on his belt, gasping as he pulled her panties apart in a snap. He watched her position herself on him then slowly closed his eyes as her warmth absorbed him. He moved his forehead to rest on her chest as she slowly bounced on him, holding her close. She lifted his head to meet their lips causing her pace to quicken until they came. His fangs lengthen and he bites into her neck, drinking her blood, pulling away shortly. She held his face, watching his eyes sparkle then his tongue lick the blood from his teeth before returning to his human form. "I love you, Bonnie Bennett."
She smiled and kissed him softly. "I love you too, Silas." She smiled as one appeared on his face. "Let's finish this dinner, shall we?"
"Only if you insist."
She chuckled then got up from his lap. Silas moves back beside Stefan but leaned in, kissing her deeply before starting time again.
Stefan's eyes opened feeling a little strange but shook it off. "Bonnie, you know I love you, you know I would do anything for you. And if you don't know that then I'll prove it to you. I'll do anything you want and ask me."
"Turn it on." She watched his eyes close before they opened again and she saw the emotion flow through him. She waved her wrist stopping time. "Tell me how you feel."
Stefan looked around noticing that everyone else was frozen. "Not good."
"Why?"
"Because I love you and I hurt you countless times. Because for some reason, for some fucking reason my brain refuses me to acknowledge you as the love of my life."
"You really think that about me?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because you're Bonnie Bennett. You're all that I think about, every second of every day, no matter how much I try to ignore it, there you are invading my thoughts. I've loved you for a long time, pictures my life with you from the day I made you wet." He smiled at her chuckle. "I'll do anything to get you back, I don't care." His eyes lifted as she stood and swallowed once she straddled his lap. He kept eye contact with her, answering her silent questions through his eyes.
"Stef,"
"Baby,"
"I love you."
"I love you more."
"I miss you,"
"Come here," he held her face, to meet their lips. Their lips smacked, placing short kisses onto each other's lips. "I'll never leave you again." He told her against her lips.
"You promise?"
"I promise." He watched her eyes before kissing her again, longer this time, exhaling through his nose as she kisses him back. His hands run up her dress, resting on her thighs for a moment before holding her ass.
She smiled hearing her panties snap and tussles with his jeans. She soon finds herself naked laying on the booth with him on top of her. She raised her legs around his waist as his hips move into her. She moans out his name as he grips her hair then meets their lips roughly. Bonnie tilts her head back to breathe but still finds it hard with the heat bouncing between them. His hips moved faster and his fangs pierced her triggering their release. He met their lips softly, kissing her like he hasn't in a while. He smiles as she frowns when their lips are no longer together.
"What do you say we get this dinner over with and go back to my place."
She chuckled. "Okay,"
"Yeah?"
She nodded then lifted her head to meet their lips and smiles finding herself dressed and seated across from him. She blinked, starting time again.
"I have to be honest with you both,"
"Of course,"
"You both mean a lot to me. Stefan more than you, Silas because we have so much of a history together it's impossible to shake."
"I understand."
"Therefore, I would like to be open with both of you."
Their eyebrows raised. "What?"
"I feel like the only true way I can know who I want to be with is if I am with you both and not sneak behind the other's back. You both treat me differently yet the same and I can see long futures with both of you. But I don't want long futures with the both of you, I only want it with one."
Silas and Stefan exchange looks, having a conversation mentally.
"I told you that I'll do anything for you, so if this is what you need then I'm ok with it. Just as long as it's not for forever."
Bonnie smiled and leaned in to kiss him once before turning to Silas.
"Whatever you desire, my love." He closed his eyes as their lips met.
"Silas, may you please take me home?"
"Of course,"
Stefan moves out of the booth and watches as the two shortly held hands. Silas gave Stefan a smug look before walking towards the door. Stefan looked down upon hearing his phone ding and smiled at the message from Bonnie telling him that she'll meet him in an hour.
