Her mouth simply dropped as her friend filled her in on her arrangement with Silas and Stefan. Only Bonnie could manage this and she gives power to her. A part of her a little jealous that there aren't two Damon's so she could run off with Damon and leave Damon for Elena.
As she predicted, she chose to give Damon another chance meaning that their relationship was on a strict hold. She promised herself to not cross that line and hoped that it wouldn't be harder than what it seemed. She figured that her best course of action was to avoid him at all costs and hope that the world wouldn't need saving anytime soon because then they would have an excuse to be in the same room at the same time.
She has yet to talk to Elena and figure out where their relationship lies but a part of her doesn't want to figure it out because if they end up reconnecting then Damon definitely has to stay out of her life and as of right now she's not sure if she wants that yet. Inwardly sighing, Caroline decides to actually listen to the ranting Bonnie in front of her.
"Sex with Silas is like I'm his perfect little wife who always smiles and cooks but Stefan fucks me like I'm his mistress."
"Bonnie Bennett, I envy you in a way."
"I'm not sure if I would."
"What? You have two beautiful men at your feet,"
"Yeah but I feel like I made my choice harder. What if I get used to them both? I don't want it to go on forever, and neither does Stefan so if that happens he'd leave me then I'll be with Silas wondering if I should be with Stefan."
"I guess I see what you mean,"
"Anyway," she sighed. "Have you talked to Damon? Or Elena?"
"Damon texted me and told me about their reconciliation. I guess he chose her."
"Or maybe he feels like he owes it to her, maybe he feels guilty about cheating so he's using this to make up for it?"
"That could be true but even so, I wouldn't like it. After you chased after Stefan, Damon asked me to ask him my big question and that was if he would leave Elena for me."
"I'm sorry about ditching you by the way. What did he say?"
"He answers by asking me if I would leave Elena for him. Would I risk my entire world just to be with him? I told him my world wouldn't be destroyed but he goes on to basically say that everything he touches breaks."
"But what is your answer?"
"What do you mean?"
"Is your friendship with Elena worth less than Damon as your boyfriend?"
She thought. "I don't know. Honestly, I think I value them as the same. If you would've asked me a year ago, I would say no way, but let's face it, Elena's changed and we're barely friends now. Really the only reason I'm around is because of you."
Bonnie frowned. "Don't hold back because of me,"
"I didn't mean it like that," she placed her hand on her shoulder. "You're not holding me back. I just mean the only reason why I'm sticking around these people is because of you. And Stefan." They chuckled.
"Maybe I could talk to Damon?"
"You don't have to get in the middle of you don't want to."
"I'll see what I can do."
Caroline smiled.
…
Stefan kissed the top of her head and caressed her face as her head was rested on his chest. Bonnie looked up and met their lips twice before moving her right leg around his hip, straddling him. Stefan moves his hands up the back of her thighs before grabbing her ass, meeting their lips again. He sat up, holding her face then met their lips again. "I love you."
"I love you more."
He kissed along her neck.
"Stef?"
"Baby?"
"Can I wear this shirt all day?"
He smiled. "Of course you can. I love it when you wear my shirts." He met their lips twice.
"I love smelling like you."
He smiled, kissing her lips.
"I have to go,"
"Nooo," he hugged her tightly. "Why?"
"There's a lot of drama going on in our friend circle."
"You mean your friend circle."
Her mouth dropped. "Caroline is our friend,"
"One out of three."
"Damon is your brother,"
"And if he wasn't, we wouldn't be friends." He smiled hearing her laugh. "Besides, I thought Elena and Damon got back together."
"They did but that doesn't mean that feelings just disappear."
He sighed. "Want me to come with you?"
She smiled. "Would you?"
"Anything for you, babe." He got up. "Have you uh seen Silas today?"
"I haven't, actually. Ready?"
"Lead the way,"
Damon silently exhaled as her head rested on his chest. They were seated together in the living room- well actually he was enjoying some nice alone time in the living room before she decided to join. He was planning to use that alone time to think about how he should approach Caroline. How to tell her that he picked Elena not sure if that's what he truly wants. He's not even sure if he'd be able to even get the words out. Damon looked over, hearing the door opening, and sighed seeing his brother and girlfriend stroll on through.
"Hey, Elena," Bonnie smiled, walking over to them.
"Hello to you too," Damon rolled his eyes.
"Hi."
"See, that wasn't so hard."
"Can we talk?"
"Sure," Elena stood.
She turned to Stefan and kissed him once before heading up the stairs. Stefan looked over at his brother then sat across from him. Damon narrowed his eyes watching his brother watch him. "What?"
"I didn't say anything."
"You're looking at me like you have something to say."
"I'm the last person to be giving out relationship advice,"
"Here we go,"
"But do you really think-" he sighed, "You're really going to do Caroline like that?"
"She's the one who chose Elena."
"Have you ever thought that she's the one who wants you to say 'fuck it' and chose her?"
"I thought you were the one who was big on respecting women's decisions?"
"This is hardly a decision she wants you to fight for her."
"And you're saying I should?"
"I'm saying that there's more than one way to look at this."
He sighed. "Wait, why aren't you in the position to give love advice, didn't you win Bonnie back multiple times?"
Stefan rolled his eyes. "We're in an open relationship."
Damon raised his right eyebrow. "So Bonnie's fair game?"
"Fuck off. I can barely handle her seeing Silas,"
"Oh I see, so she's fucking Silas now and you but if either of you slides into a vagina that doesn't belong to Bonnie, you'd lose."
"I don't want anyone else but Bonnie anyway. Besides, soon enough this will be over and I will win her heart and Silas will be out of our lives for good." He exhaled.
"So you really have no worry at all?"
"Not at all. We've been consecutively sleeping together for the past week." He sat up and smiled seeing her come down the stairs and held her hips as she whispered in his ear.
"Caroline sent me an SOS, I'll catch up with you later." She moved back then met their lips in a quick makeout before heading out.
"What was that about?" Damon questioned.
"Caroline needs her for something."
"She couldn't say that out loud?"
"Maybe she just didn't want you to feel uncomfortable by mentioning her."
Damon stood to grab a drink.
…
Silas smiled as she jumped in his arms and met their lips, kissing her deeply. He sped them upstairs into his room and carefully placed her on her back. "I missed you."
"I can't believe you went out of town,"
"I'm sorry, my love. I had to take care of a few things."
"How did that go?"
"Pretty well. I just couldn't wait to return home to you." He watched her smile. "You're so beautiful."
She gently pushed his head down so their foreheads were connected and closed her eyes. "I missed you too."
He smiled then kissed her lips. "I love you."
"I love you too."
He moved his head to the side of her neck and closed his eyes. A smile came to his face as her fingers softly scratched his scalp.
…
Bonnie woke up not remembering falling asleep but smiled still feeling him in her arms. She reached for her phone in her back pocket and lowly cursed seeing a missed call and several texts from Stefan and two from Caroline.
I lied and told Stefan we were hanging out when he questioned me
We went to the mall then hung out at my place and you fell asleep
She let out a breath. Thank you! I'll explain later
Silas?
Silas.
Bonnie exhaled then called Stefan.
"Hey,"
"Hey, I'm sorry, I guess I was more tired than I thought."
"It's okay, I just missed you. When are you coming back?"
She looked to her side seeing Silas still asleep. "Tonight."
"Okay, babe. I love you."
"I love you too." She ended the call.
"Why are you lying to him? I thought we had an understanding?" Silas spoke.
She sighed. "I'm just scared that he'll go off if I told him I was with you."
He sat up and she did so as well. "My love,"
"I know." She frowned. "I'll tell him you invited me out on a date tomorrow afternoon."
He smiled. "Will you go out with me tomorrow afternoon?"
She leaned in meeting their foreheads. "I would love to,"
He shook his head then met their lips, kissing her twice. "And you're sleeping over tomorrow." He kisses her again, opening his mouth to her, and moved them to their sides.
…
Bonnie showered in her lavender wash, moisturized in her lavender lotion, and for good measure applied some lavender oil on the back of her neck knowing that any hint of Silas is overpowered. She made her way over to Stefan's place dressed in her lavender silk pajama shorts set.
She smiled as he opened the door and he watched her walk inside then closed the door behind her. "You smell—"
"I've noticed that you've been having a little trouble sleeping, so I thought that I would help you out."
"You- you noticed that?"
"I did. I feel like tonight we go into our room and close our eyes and go to sleep. No fucking."
He chuckled. "*Our room?"
"Our room."
He smiled. "Okay,"
She took his hand then lead them upstairs. Stefan removed his shirt and pants before climbing in bed, joining her. She held out her arms and he laid between them and exhaled hearing her heart beating against his ear. He closed his eyes as her hand stroked his hair calmly and felt himself sink into her, moving his arms around her.
Bonnie smiled hearing his soft snores then kissed the top of his head.
…
Stefan tightened his eyes then opened them, feeling as if he was just sleeping on clouds. He smiled feeling her in his arms and moved his head and saw her still asleep then kissed the side of her neck. He rested his head back down and exhaled through his nose, closing his eyes again but opened them hearing her phone ding. He debated with himself but ultimately smoothly reach for it and frowned seeing it was a text from Silas.
I cannot wait for our date this afternoon. I've planned out the perfect day. And night.
He growled but quickly put her phone back feeling her move before she woke up. Bonnie looked down, letting out a breath, and smiled seeing him still asleep. She moved her hand gently along his back then turned her head to the side hearing her phone ding and said a spell, floating it into her other hand. She smiled reading his texts.
I cannot wait for our date this afternoon. I've planned out the perfect day. And night.
I love you
I love you too, I'm excited about our date *heart emoji*
She placed her phone to the side. She smiled as his head shifted upward and they locked eyes. "Good morning," She caressed his face then frowned. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." He got up.
"Babe," she sat up, narrowing her eyes. "Did you sleep okay?"
"I slept perfectly."
"Then what's—"
"I can't do this, Bonnie. I love you and you're going to fuck Silas tonight."
"What are you—"
"I saw what he texted you. He can't wait for your date and night together."
She frowned. "Stef,"
"You have to choose, Bonnie. It's either him or me." He watched her think. "I can't believe this. We've known each other for how long and you are this conflicted?"
"I told you I was confused-"
"Well, you know what, I'm making your life easier now. We're done."
Tears filled her eyes. "I hate you, Stefan."
"I don't care anymore," he shook his head.
"Every time I forgive you, you make me feel like an idiot by dumping me and making me feel like a horrible person for wanting to help you."
"So fucking another guy is helping me?"
"Maybe if you would've just got your head out of your ass I wouldn't be fucking "another guy"."
"So this is my fault now?"
"Yes!" She got out of bed and walked up to him. "You leave me on the side of the road I move on to Thomas, you ask me out to talk, I dump Thomas and date you again, you dump me for no reason at all and tell me to date Silas so I do then, you show up and I take you back but you know what, I think that maybe I should guard my heart this time and do something for me for once. You say you'd do anything for me then you dump me again because apparently, you won't do anything for me. What a fucking surprise. Don't come crawling back to me a week from now because I will never take you back." She watched his eyes then walked out.
Stefan closed his eyes as the door slammed then punched a hole in his wall. "*Fuck!" He ran his fingers in his hair then tossed his dresser to the other side of the room. His breathing grew heavy and his fangs lengthened and he quickly got dressed before rushing out.
…
Silas held her in his arms and hushed her cries. He couldn't believe that Stefan would ever break up with her but if he's honest, he's happy about it because now she's finally all his. He'll ask her to run away with him, away from Mystic Falls and Stefan so they could live peacefully and make memories of their own. He hugged her tighter then moved to wipe away her tears before kissing her twice. "You don't deserve to be with such a fool as Stefan."
"I hate that I'm crying over him because he doesn't deserve my tears," she sniffed.
"I'll get your mind off of him. By tonight, all you'll be thinking about is how great of a boyfriend I am."
She smiled and closed her eyes as he kissed her again.
"My love, I bought you a dress for our day out, I hope that's okay."
"It's perfect." She watched his eyes then he took her hand leading them upstairs.
Bonnie smiled seeing it laid out on the bed. It was olive green with a sweetheart neckline and about finger width straps. Eleven buttons detailed its center and it had two pockets, one on each half of the dress.
"I saw it in a window display and thought about how beautiful you'd look in it. I hope you like it."
She turned to him. "No one has ever bought me anything before,"
He held her face. "I wish I had found you sooner. You deserve this entire world, it's a shame no one has offered it to you."
She watched his eyes then turned back to the dress and removed her clothes before putting on the dress. Silas walked up to her and held her from behind and kissed the side of her neck. "You're beautiful." He smiled seeing her lips curve into one. "Are you ready for the most perfect afternoon?"
"I'm more than ready."
He took her hand and led them downstairs and she noticed that as they were walking down, the scenery changed and they were no longer walking down the stairs of his home, but the stairs of what sounded to be an underground jazz club. She laughed as he twirled her on the dance floor and loved her arm around him as he held the other and started dancing them in a circle. She smiled widely looking into his eyes and he smiled back before kissing her then dipped her, twirled her, then dipped her again. She laughed to the ceiling and allowed her body to be led by Silas'.
Once the song ended, she found herself practically out of breath and she was glad when he ordered them drinks before they occupied a booth.
"Silas, this is amazing! How did you do that transition from us in your house to here?"
He smiled. "I practiced my ass off. It was a spell I've been working on for some time now, practically slowing down teleportation while also witnessing it. The trick is that you have to know of the place you want to travel to it at least have somewhat of an idea so you know what you're walking into."
"That's amazing,"
"I'll teach you someday," he chuckled as she laughed.
"You better."
"I promise." He looked over and smiled as their drinks were placed in front of them then thanked the gentleman.
"You have some pretty sweet moves,"
"Before I turned, I really wanted to dance. It was practically all around me but then I had bigger things to deal with and dancing never really qualified as a passable career."
"How old were you when you turned?"
"Twenty. I didn't tell anyone. I just kept to myself and finally one day I meet this witch who spells me with a spell of being an all-powerful being. She told me it was a blessing and I believed her not taking into consideration that not only was I a horrible vampire, but I also had to deal with being a witch on top of that which only frustrated me and caused my powers to spiral out of control, causing me to harm and kill those close to me. Then I realized that it was actually a curse. I isolated myself more and more and then I met— but I got better."
"You can talk about her, Silas. I know you know me and view me as myself. If anything you taking me here proves that."
He reached out his hands to hold her face. "I love you."
"I love you more."
He watched her eyes then moved in to kiss her lips. She smiled hearing the music fades and is replaced by the wind. As her eyes opened, they were outside in a grassy field with a picnic basket with them seated on a blanket. She opened her mouth to him but sighed realizing that she probably shouldn't because now all she wants to do is straddle his lap.
Silas pulled away then connected their foreheads. "I know you're hungry," he combed hair behind her ear and smiled as she did.
"What did you pack?"
"There's sandwiches, chips, and wine."
"The perfect lunch."
He watched her pull out the food and he started chewing on chips as she ate. Once she was halfway finished, he widened his eye as she straddled his lap but held her as she pushed his head against her neck. "I know you're hungry too."
He lengthened his fangs and pierced the side of her neck, drinking her sweet blood. It filled him almost instantly, but he kept feeding like it was his last. Silas pulled away from her neck and licked clean his fangs before biting his wrist and feeding her his blood. He grew hard at the feel of her lips on his skin as she drank from him more than she really needed to. Their eyes locked and she smiled at how he was still in his vampire form.
"Tell me what you want, Silas,"
"I want you."
He closed his eyes as her lips kissed his neck and he slowly fell backward as her lips traveled. She smiled being able to feel a breeze between her thighs and was surprised when he positioned her on his face. She threw her head back at the feel of his tongue and moaned his name loudly as he growled, sending tingles inside her. She started rocking her hips into him and his hands squeezed her ass. She came loudly with a moan then moved to his side.
"I hope I pleased you, I read of that position in a book."
She chuckled then turned to him and kissed him deeply. "You pleased me very much."
He smiled then met their lips again, moving his hand to the side of her face.
…
Bonnie looked up and saw the sun setting and frowned never wanting this day to end, but Silas had made plans for their night as well so a part of her isn't too sad. He took her to get ice cream and they ate it in the shop and now they're outside, standing by his car as they hugged.
"Bonnie?" He moved away. "I was going to wait until later to ask you this, but I simply cannot wait much longer. Will you please leave this town with me and we go to—"
"Yes."
He smiled and kissed her deeply. "You can think about it, my love,"
"I don't need to," She shook her head. "I want to be with you, wherever you are, I want to be."
"Wherever you are I want to be," He held her face and smiled before his expression turned into shock, then pain.
"Silas?" Bonnie questioned then gasped seeing a hand holding his heart through his chest before pulling it back out.
She stood there paralyzed as he dropped to the ground and her body shook watching his heart drop beside him. Bonnie fell to her knees and cried out his name, holding his body tightly. "No, please don't," she talked to the veins spreading over his body as a pale green replaced the pigment of his skin. She tried to think of a spell to save him but she couldn't. She built up the strength to teleport them off the street and into her house before someone saw her.
…
Stefan opened his door then his head was forced to the left as she slapped him. She pushed him back then started swinging on him. "I hate you! I hate you!" She repeated over and over. Stefan grabbed her wrists stopping her attack on him.
"What are you doing?"
"You killed him!"
He narrowed his eyes. "Who?"
"Silas! Don't play dumb with me, Stefan, at least have the balls to tell me to my face."
He frowned. "Bonnie, I swear I didn't kill him,"
"I know you did. Who else would want to ruin my life like that? You were the only person that had a grudge against him, he kept to himself, no one else here knows who he is except you!" She cried and he let her wrists go.
"Bonnie, I didn't do it, I swear to you, I wouldn't do that to you,"
"Fuck you. You're such a joke, Stefan."
"Babe, I swear I—"
"Leave town again but this time don't come back. I don't want to see your face ever again in my life, I hope you fucking die because it should've been you and not him. I would've chosen him over you but I wanted to spare your feelings because for some stupid reason I still cared about you. Not anymore."
"You don't- Bonnie I didn't do it, I- I was here all night, I went out after you left but I came back. I swear I would never do that to you, you have to believe me."
"I don't believe a word you say. Leave tonight, please."
"Babe, please just—" he stopped no longer seeing her in front of him. Tears started falling from his eyes and he walked upstairs to pack his stuff but paused midway and closed his eyes, turning it off. Again.
