Good Evening,

I hope you guys enjoy the chapter.

Oxford Not Brogues

Chapter Four

Elena was relaxing in her living room with her boyfriend, Mark. The two vampires sat on the couch watching the telly. Normally, they would be asleep at this time, but the last few days had been hectic for both of them. Elena had been dealing with getting Seras together with Alucard and Sebastian. And Mark had been busy at his day job; he was a professional rugby player for the past five years. Elena and Mark, while they were not destined to be mates, had been living together and dating for nearly two decades now. They were quite happy, but knew that this relationship could die the second one of them ever found their mate. So, they enjoyed the time they had together as much as possible before it ended. The buzzing of Elena's phone interrupted their telly time. The brunette shifted on the couch to pull her phone out of her pocket. Barely looking to see who was calling, she flipped it open and brought it to her ear.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Elena," She heard Seras' voice on the other end of the call.

"Seras?" Elena responded, sounding and looking surprised to be hearing her voice. The last time the two girls talked it didn't really end well for them. Though, the brunette was completely over it now and was even glad to hear from her friend. She was dying to know how it was going with Seras and the monsters.

"I'm sorry about yesterday." Seras apologized. "I hate when we fight."

"It's alright; you were just scared and confused." Elena snickered. "Let's forget it happened. Alright? We can grab coffee tomorrow if you want and gossip like normal."

"Okay, I'm still new to all of this. But you're a vampire. Can you drink coffee? I mean, I know in the past I've seen you drink coffee before. But is that good for you to do?" Her friend asked, sounding concerned. This earned her another chuckle from Elena.

"It's completely fine. Vampires can drink fluids, we just can't digest food." The brunette explained. From the corner of her eye, she saw Mark shift his head to give her a strange look. Curiously, Elena glanced over at him to see his brows furrowed.

"Does Seras know about us?" Her boyfriend asked.

"Hold on a second, Seras." Elena muttered before she lowered the phone to talk with her boyfriend. "Yeah, she found out last night."

"Why in the hell did you tell her?" Mark asked, bewildered that Elena would blab to humans of what they were.

"You know Alucard and Sebastian?" The brunette asked.

"Those old guys that you occasionally speak to? Yeah, what about them?" Her boyfriend asked with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Well, Seras is their mate. They're the ones who actually told her about me, but…Now she knows, so we don't have to hide what we are when she's around anymore." Elena explained. A look of surprise shot across his face once more.

"And she's cool with it?" He asked with an arched brow.

"Well," Elena drawled with a shrug. "She's working on it. But so far she's doing well."

"Alright then," Mark muttered before he brought his attention back on to the telly. Elena raised the phone back to her ear.

"You still there, Seras?" The brunette asked.

"Yep," Seras responded. "I'm not bothering you, am I?"

"No, Mark just wanted to quickly discuss something with me. I'm all yours right now. What's up?" Elena asked. There was silence on the other end for a moment or two.

"I am so confused, Elena." Seras whispered. The girl sounded like she was on the verge of tears. The brunette's smile fell instantly. "I am so confused and scared."

"Why? What's wrong?" Elena asked carefully.

"Sebastian and Alucard touched me…" Before she could finish, the brunette was interrupting.

"What?!" Elena exclaimed and she shot up straight in her seat. "They fingered you?"

"WHAT?!" Seras shouted. "No! Not like that!"

"They grabbed your boobs?" The brunette asked with furrowed brows.

"No!" The small blonde sighed. "They literally just touched me."

"Touched you?" Elena repeated, wondering what she was supposed to understand.

"I held Sebastian's hand and…Alucard cupped my face…and…" Seras trailed off. The brunette was utterly confused at this point. "Elena?" The small blonde whispered when her friend was quiet for more than a minute.

"I'm sorry, but I'm just really confused at the minute, Seras." Elena admitted after shaking her head to get herself back to reality. "They touched you in the sense that they just affectionately held your hand and cupped your face?"

"Yes!" Seras agreed.

"I'm not seeing the problem." The brunette muttered.

"The problem is…how I felt when they did it. I was…lost. I was totally, completely lost, like I had just fallen into a black pit and couldn't find my way out. I…All I could…feel…was their…" Seras trailed off again. "I'm so confused, Elena. They terrify me…But the second they touched me…I was a different person. I became this puddle of goo." Elena smiled in victory the more her friend explained herself. It sounded like to her that Seras finally experienced the strange phenomenon mates share when touching each other's skin.

"You're scared because you liked it." The brunette said loud and proud, her smile widening into a smirk. Seras was silent for several seconds.

"A little," The small blonde admitted in a whisper.

"You're scared because you actually took comfort in them touching you. It was almost like a homey feeling, wasn't it?" Elena continued. There was another moment of silence before she got a response from her shy friend.

"Yes," Seras whispered. Before Elena could proceed, the small blonde was speaking. "What did they do to me that I felt that way? Did they…hypnotize me? Vampires can hypnotize people, right? Did Alucard have me in a trance?" The brunette chuckled in amusement.

"Seras, I promise you, Alucard and Sebastian had nothing to do with how you felt. If they had put you in a trance, you would be well aware that you had no control over your body. Tell me, Seras. Were you able to control all of your actions?" Elena asked.

"Yes," The small blonde sighed, sounding so defeated. "But I'm still so confused."

"Why?" The brunette snickered.

"Why did that happen? Why did I…like it? I've touched people before. But that was the first time…It just felt so much more different touching them. It wasn't…normal. Why did I like it?" Seras asked in a whisper.

"I think you know the reason why, Seras." Elena responded.

"No, why?" The curious blonde asked.

"Because they're your mates." The brunette laughed. "Only mates experience something like that. You know, vampires actually call that particular feeling 'home'."

"Home?" Seras repeated.

"Yeah, home. See, when mates touch each other they feel that all is right in the world, they feel safe and warm. They feel at home." She explained further while playing with her hair. "You experienced your first visit home." Elena purred. "Can you imagine the sex between mates? Just that constant feeling of warmth and comfort while being fucked? It sounds so overwhelming sensitive, doesn't it? The feel of your mate's skin on yours and the ripping pleasure…"

"Elena!" Seras exclaimed in embarrassment. "I'm not going to have sex with Alucard and Sebastian!"

"Huh?" Elena hummed. "I wasn't saying anything about that. I was just talking about mates in general." The small blonde sighed at her friend's inappropriateness.

"What am I going to do, Elena?" Seras asked.

"What do you mean?" The brunette asked with another shrug.

"What if they touch me again?" She asked. "I mean, Sebastian said that they promise to never touch me again without my permission. But…what if they do? What if they break that promise and touch me again? Or even accidentally touch me and I act like a fool again in front of them? What then?"

"So what?" Elena snickered.

"Excuse me?" Seras muttered confusedly.

"So what if they touch you again or if you touch them?" She asked. "The feeling is phenomenal, or so I'm told, so what's the problem if there is a little physical contact? It's not the end of the world. And it's not like you're taking off their pants or anything, Seras. You can hold their hands again, that's nice and friendly; there's nothing wrong with that, you virgin." The brunette laughed. "And if you're truly worried about physical contact with them, you can be rest assured knowing that they won't initiate it. Sebastian promised you that they won't touch you again without your permission. Those boys are going to keep that promise because they don't want to do anything to upset you." There was another small moment of silence between Seras and Elena.

"What should I do, Elena?" The small blonde asked in a whisper. Elena's eyes widened for a second. Why did it sound like to her that Seras was asking for dating advice? Was that just her imagination? Was she too hopeful that her friend was going to end up with Alucard and Sebastian?

"Are…you asking for advice?" Elena asked her carefully.

"Well…" Seras drawled, sounding unsure of herself.

"You're not looking for advice of how to get them out of your flat, are you?" She asked.

"I know that they're not going to leave my flat. I kind of already gave up on that." The small blonde admitted. "But…maybe you can help me so it's…easier to…be around them. So I don't have to live in my flat in total fear."

"Are you willing to listen to me this time?" Elena asked.

"Only if what you suggest doesn't sound too crazy then sure, I'll listen." Seras snickered.

"Okay, first, let your bloody guard down." The brunette suggested. "Stop acting meek around them."

"Meek?!" The small blonde exclaimed. "I'm not meek."

"No, you're not meek. So stop acting meek when you're around them." Elena lectured her. "Second, don't be afraid to go near them. You can actually sit on the same couch as them, you know? And third, just go about your flat like it's any other day. You don't have to do things differently just because they're there. If you want to shower, shower! If you want to sleep, go to bed! If you want to read or watch TV or anything you want to do, then do it! But don't be afraid to invite them to do something with you. Hey! Play a game with them or something; maybe a hand of poker or monopoly. Just…try and get to know them. Try and get along with them, Seras. It will make things so much easier for you." Just then, Elena's phone started beeping. Pulling the phone away from her ear she saw that she was getting a call from Seras' landline. "Hey," The brunette muttered as she brought the phone back to her ear. "Are you on your cellphone right now?"

"Yeah, why?" Seras responded.

"No, reason. Just follow my advice, alright? Now, I have to go. I'm getting another call." Elena sighed. She could only assume that this other call was from Alucard or Sebastian.

"Alright," The small blonde murmured. "We'll talk later and make plans for coffee."

"Sure, bye." The brunette replied. She then ended her call with Seras and answered her other call. "Hello?"

"I'm entirely aware of how rude it is of me to be using Seras' landline without her permission, but Alucard and I would very much like your help." Sebastian spoke.

"Oh?" Elena muttered, sounding surprised. Alucard and Sebastian had never come to her for advice when it came to a woman. What in the hell were they so worried about that they sought desperately for advice from her? "What's wrong?"

"Seras has been locked in her room for a full hour." The demon responded, sounding deeply disappointed, maybe even concerned. "She had a panic attack after Alucard and I touched her, and now she won't come out of her room."

"Okay," The brunette drawled as she waited patiently for him to get to the point of why he was calling her.

"We don't know what to do. We tried giving her space and we promised we wouldn't touch her again without permission." Sebastian proceeded. "But Alucard and I have talked a bit and we were wondering if Seras hasn't warmed up to us for a different reason."

"A…different reason?" Elena repeated with furrowed brows. "What are you talking about? What reason?"

"What if Miss. Victoria doesn't particularly like…men?" The demon asked softly.

"What? Like she's a hardcore feminist or something; she's against men?" The brunette asked.

"No, Miss. Beckley," Sebastian sighed in annoyance. "What if Miss. Victoria is a homosexual?" Instantly, Elena's eyes widened from Alucard and Sebastian's little theory.

"What?" She whispered, trying her best not to burst into laughter.

"Well, if Miss. Victoria prefers women over men, maybe that's why she's not eager to share her company with us. In which case, Alucard and I would be more than willing to change our genders for her. We have that power, and we wouldn't think twice about doing it if that would make her happy." The demon continued, but this only caused Elena to burst into laughter, rudely silencing Sebastian on the spot. There was a moment or two of the demon being silent before he finally decided to say something. "Did I say something funny, Miss. Beckley? Because I'm not seeing the pun here." Sebastian spoke, and he didn't sound happy in the slightest that she had broken out into laughter right in his ear. "You are Seras' closest friend. So, you would know if she was interested in women, right? And you said it yourself, Miss. Victoria doesn't particularly date because she has a hard time mingling with men. What if the reason to that is because she wasn't interested in men to begin with?" Before he could continue, the giggling brunette interrupted him.

"Seras isn't gay." She said through chuckles. "She's just extremely shy, especially around men."

"Are you sure?" Sebastian asked her carefully.

"Yes, Sebastian, you and Alucard don't need to change your gender." Elena chuckled. "I don't know if she's bisexual, but Seras is for sure interested in men."

"How do you know?" The demon asked, sounding unsure.

"It's like you said, I'm her best friend and she tells me everything." The brunette purred with a wide smirk. "I actually just got off the phone with her a minute ago and we were talking about you guys."

"Really?" Sebastian muttered.

"I would tell you all about it," Elena lied. "But don't you think you should be getting off Seras' phone before she catches you?"

"Right!" The demon exclaimed. "It was rather rude of me to use it without her permission." He repeated under his breath. "I'll contact you again if Alucard and I run into any more issues."

Seras sat on the foot of her bed with her cellphone being clutched in her hand. After her little chat with Elena, she was trying to work up the courage to go back out into her living room and…try socializing with Alucard and Sebastian. But she just didn't know where to begin. She had a full on panic attack in front of them, and now she's supposed to go back out there and pretend that she hadn't freaked out on them? What was she supposed to do? What was she supposed to say? The small blonde sighed in misery and let her head hang. How was she supposed to socialize with them? All of this was so awkward and she was still so confused. Did she really want to hang out with them as if they were longtime friends? What if they get the wrong impression? What if they think she was trying to seduce them? Seras had called Elena hoping their conversation would help her figure out the conundrum she was in with Alucard and Sebastian. If this whole mating thing was real…should…Seras go along with it? Or should she just be friendly to make this whole new living situation easier on her and them?

There was a tap sound on her window. Seras lifted her head to watch the water droplets land on her window pane. Light grey clouds hid the sun away as the rain hit the glass a little harder. That's when an idea came to the small blonde. She set down her phone on her dresser before standing up to walk across the room. The girl was so nervous but she didn't show any hesitation. She gripped the door knob and pulled the door open. Alucard was sitting casually on one of the stools at her counter while the demon stood in the living room. Both males glanced over at her when she surprisingly emerged from her room. The clearly tense human slowly stepped out of her room and greeted them with a small smile. But they only stared back at her with a stunned look on their faces.

"Are you alright, Miss. Victoria?" Sebastian asked.

"I'm fine," Seras answered politely.

"We are sorry about earlier," He had started, but she cut him off.

"It's fine," She muttered with a light wave of her hand. The demon frowned at the little human while his brows drew together in concern. The sudden change in her behavior was quite strange to the both of them. They couldn't help but wonder if Seras' chat with Elena actually helped her cope with what happened between them earlier. "I…don't know if you guys caught it, but it's raining." Seras muttered awkwardly as she lowered her gaze. A light blush formed on her cheeks. Alucard raised a brow but a gentle grin formed on his lips.

"It has caught our attention." The vampire agreed with a nod.

"Do you like the rain, Miss. Victoria?" Sebastian asked, wondering why she was talking about the weather. Was this just her way of making small talk?

"I have mixed feelings." She answered with a shrug. "It's not that great when you're get caught in the rain." She snickered. "But…usually on days like this…I like to curl up on the couch with a blanket, maybe some hot chocolate and popcorn, and watch movies or TV. Rainy days just seem the best for…movie day."

"Movie day?" The demon repeated. Neither male seemed to really understand what the girl was getting at.

"It's…what I normally do on days like this." She repeated and her smile slowly faltered. She felt so embarrassed, especially since she didn't really know how to go about asking them what she wanted to ask. Her gaze was still on the floor. "Do…you guys like movies?" She asked nervously. But she only received silence. This was only making her embarrassment claw deeper into her stomach. She felt like cowering in on herself when all she could feel were their gazes on her and was still not given a response. God this was painful.

"We've never actually viewed a film before." Sebastian answered a minute later.

"Is this an invitation?" Alucard asked in a deep purr. Naturally, a shudder travelled through the little human's body when hearing her mate purr in that deep voice. Alucard's grin widened. He was well aware what he did to her every time he spoke. Seras closed her eyes and lightly clenched her fists to get her feelings under control. She still hadn't the foggiest idea why his voice or his purrs did that to her.

"Would you…both like to…watch a movie with me?" She asked, showing hesitance now.

"Really?" The vampire purred and his eyes narrowed on her. The blush darkened on her cheeks before she gestured her head to the right side of her living room.

"You guys can even pick the movie…if you want." She muttered. "They're…over there on the shelf with the CDs." She glanced over at her shelf. "I have some on VHS and others on DVD. There are plenty of comedies and action films, and a few horror." The small blonde then glanced at the males with a nervous look in her eyes. They were both full on grinning at her now. Seras visibly jolted and she drove her teeth into her tongue. Her entire face was beat red and her eyes were wide in her head.

"We would love to watch a film with you." Sebastian answered in a purr and that grin of his manifested into something sinister and sexual. The shy blonde pointed towards the kitchen.

"I'm…going to make some popcorn then while…you guys find a movie." She murmured. But then her brows furrowed together. "Do…you guys…want…anything to eat…Besides me?" Seras jumped when Alucard started cackling hard. Sebastian merely snickered.

"We don't have a desire to eat you, Miss. Victoria." The demon assured her. "You don't have to worry about that."

"Okay, good. Thanks." The small blonde answered awkwardly. "I'm just…going to make the popcorn now before this becomes any more awkward." She added while frowning.

"I didn't find it awkward." Alucard responded after his fit of cackling. "I found it amusing. You are amusing." But this didn't seem to be any comfort to his mate. She only lowered her gaze and continued to frown. "You don't have to be so tense, Seras." His mate curiously glanced at him to see him giving her a soft look. "You can smile. The situation was funny." He attempted to encourage her.

"It was polite of you for asking." Sebastian added.

"It was funny." Alucard repeated. "But you do not have to worry about us getting hungry." Seras stared at him for a moment. She stared deeply in his eyes, considered what he said, and she lightly nodded her head in agreement. Afterwards, she cracked a smile.

"Perhaps…it was a little funny." She whispered. The vampire looked delighted when she agreed. His grin widened and he snickered. "I'm going to make the popcorn now." She said with that smile still on her face. She looked a little less tense. The little human walked right on by Alucard and Sebastian with not even so much as a wince or a shudder. The males were ecstatic with how well things were going so far. Perhaps Elena's talk with Seras did benefit them after all.

"We don't know much about films." Sebastian spoke as he walked across the living room to inspect the couple of dozens of movies she owned. "Is there one in particular in your collection you would like to watch? Perhaps you're looking for a certain genre?"

"I'm not really picky." Seras answered from her kitchen as she worked on getting a bowl of popcorn. "Just pick whatever you guys think looks good. There's a description of the movie on the back of the case."

"Ah," The demon exclaimed softly as he flipped a case over to find the description.

"Alucard," The small blonde spoke when seeing that the vampire was still seated on the stool at the counter. Alucard glanced over at her. "Don't you want to help Sebastian pick a movie?" The vampire only snickered at her though.

"Like you, I'm not that picky." The vampire responded coolly.

"Well, I hope Sebastian picks something you like then." Seras snickered.

"How about this?" The demon interrupted as he lifted a movie to show them. Alucard and Seras glanced over to see that he had chosen the Mummy starring Brendan Fraser.

"And that would be?" The vampire asked with an arched brow.

"A film about a mummy being resurrected and terrorizing humans," Sebastian answered.

"I like that film," Seras responded. "It's funny and a little grotesque."

"It doesn't sound terrible," The demon agreed.

"Alucard, are you alright with it then?" The small blonde asked.

"Again, I am not picky. Films are made to be entertaining and time consuming. While I may not get much entertainment from most films, I don't mind spending my time watching one." Alucard answered, earning a strange look from his mate.

"Do you not want to watch a movie?" Seras asked.

"What I want is to share my company with you. If you wish to spend the time watching a film, I will spend my time the same way." The vampire said. But it didn't seem too clear of what he was saying, Seras still looked confused. She was unsure if he wanted to watch a movie or not; he just kept saying that watching films was time consuming. The small blonde glanced at the demon curiously.

"Translate, please." She begged him lightly.

"He'll happily watch the film with you, Miss. Victoria; that's how he wishes to spend his time." Sebastian snickered.

"Oh," Seras drawled. "I thought that's what he was saying, but I wasn't sure."

"Pardon him. Sometimes it can be hard for him to admit something out loud." The demon chuckled while he popped out the DVD from its case. "I don't know how to work the player."

"Oh!" She exclaimed once more. "There should be a light grey remote on the coffee table. On the top left of the remote will be a red power button. Click that, and then click the top right button that's dark grey."

"What does the dark grey button do?" Sebastian asked as he clicked the buttons in the order she told him. A light went on on the DVD player and after clicking the dark grey button, a tray ejected from the player. "Oh, I see." The demon muttered before he gingerly placed the DVD on the tray. "Then do I press the dark grey button again?"

"Do you have the DVD in?" Seras asked.

"That part is done," The demon confirmed with a nod.

"Then click that button again and the DVD will go in." She instructed.

"Brilliant," Sebastian muttered as he watched the tray slide smoothly back into the player.

"Okay, there should be a second remote on the coffee table; it's black." Seras proceeded.

"Yes," Sebastian agreed while picking up said remote and inspecting it closely.

"Like the DVD remote, there should be a red power button on the top left." The small blonde responded as she poured her cooked popcorn into a bowl. She knew he accomplished that much when she heard people talking on her telly. "Okay, now down further in the center of the remote there should be a button labeled source. Click that twice and it will take you to a different channel." As he was switching over to the DVD player, Seras walked into the living room munching on her popcorn. Immediately, the previews started playing.

"Is this the right channel then?" Sebastian asked as he glanced over his shoulder at his mate. Seras had set her bowl of popcorn on the coffee table and was already sitting on the floor in front of the couch.

"Yeah," She answered. "These are the trailers before the movie. We don't have to watch them if you don't want to. If you hit the menu button on the remote it will take us straight to the menu so we can play the movie."

"I don't mind viewing the trailers." The demon responded as he made his way over to the couch. He was unsure why Seras was sitting on the floor. Was it because she didn't want to sit close to him and Alucard? Was she more comfortable on the floor? Was he and Alucard supposed to join her? Confused of what he should do, Sebastian lowered himself onto the couch to the left of Seras. She said nothing about where he was sitting as she watched the previews. He supposed he should be grateful though. Before she had been sitting across the room on a chair, refusing to come anywhere near them. While she may be sitting on the floor, at least she was sitting closer to them. She was at least on the same side of the room as them this time. He thought to himself with a soft smile. And who knows, perhaps halfway through the movie Seras just might join them on the couch.

"You and Alucard can take off your shoes if you want so you're more comfortable. I don't mind." Seras announced with a light shrug. The girl then curiously glanced back at Alucard who was still seated on that bloody stool. "Aren't you going to watch the movie with us, Alucard?" The vampire said nothing as he stood up and walked over to the couch to seat himself. He wasn't exactly upset that Seras had chosen to sit on the floor instead of on the couch with them. But he was somewhat disappointed that he wasn't able to display his affection for her. If he was allowed to, he would have combed his fingers through her hair or stroked her head out of comfort while watching the film with her. And no matter how tempting it was to break his promise, Alucard kept his hands to himself.

They watched through the few previews there were before the menu popped up finally. Seras took control of the remote and started their little film fest. It started out well…for a few minutes that is. Not even five minutes in the film, Sebastian was pausing it. Seras shifted her head to glance up at him over her shoulder.

"I apologize but I don't understand." The demon admitted.

"What?" The small blonde murmured in confusion. "Sebastian, nothing has happened yet. Why are you already confused?"

"Imhotep was punished for the murder of the Pharaoh and using dark magic to resurrect his lover, correct?" Sebastian asked, earning a nod from the little human. "His punishment was to be mummified. His organs were stolen from him and placed in several different canopic jars."

"Right," Seras agreed.

"Yet, the very next scene it shows him struggling as he's wrapped in cloth and placed in a sarcophagus. How is that possible? If his organs were pulled from his being, how is he still alive? He's not immortal as of yet, he's still human." The demon explained. The small blonde's eyes widened and she looked back at the movie in disbelief.

"Wait, you're right." She murmured.

"So you don't have an answer to that?" Sebastian asked with furrowed brows. "There's no explanation as to why he's still alive?"

"I've…never realized it before." Seras admitted with a light shake of her head. "What the hell?" A charming giggle then left her lips. "I guess every movie has their flaws." She added before smiling up at the demon. "I promise the rest of the movie isn't going to be as ridiculous or confusing as this scene."

"I trust you," The demon whispered before he handed off the remote to her.

"You're smart," The small blonde continued. "I've watched this movie a dozen times and I'd never noticed it before."

Seras, having thought spending the time with Alucard and Sebastian watching movies would have been highly uncomfortable, had actually greatly enjoyed it. For once, she hadn't felt anxious or scared. She sat there and watched the movie with them in total peace. She might even say that she had fun. Two hours flew by. Her bowl of popcorn was now empty and rested on the coffee table in front of her. She was still sitting on the floor in front of the couch, but she didn't seem too bothered by it. In fact, she looked cozy with her back resting against the couch and her legs criss-cross. When the movie ended, Seras was so quick to ask them how they liked it. While it was not in any way their cup of tea, they did greatly enjoy the time they had spent with their mate.

"It was humorous." Sebastian responded with a soft smile. His mate gazed up at him with those big, blue orbs that brought warmth to his stomach every time he looked at her. She still held that beautiful smile on her face. It was so refreshing not to see her distant or tense or angry with them for a change.

"It was definitely better than I expected it to be." Alucard spoke.

"I like the Mummy." Seras told them as she got up from her spot on the floor. As she walked over to the DVD player to retrieve the movie, she continued. "But, in all honesty, I feel bad for Imhotep. After three thousand years, he's still madly in love with a woman and tries so hard to resurrect her. I understand why he's viewed as the bad guy…But at the same time, I can't really see him as a bad guy. It's…endearing, in a sadistic way that is, the lengths he would go to get Anck-su-namun back." The girl said as she popped the DVD back into its case and placed it back on the bookshelf. "It also makes you wonder about the afterlife. Have they not been able to see each other, even after death? Even if they were fated to go to hell, they lost all contact with each other? They can't even suffer together?"

"This really bothers you, doesn't it?" Sebastian asked her. Seras glanced over at the two males who sat there on the couch listening to her nonsense willingly.

"I'm sorry," The small blonde muttered. "I was just rambling."

"But you are passionate about the story between these two characters." The demon noted.

"It's just a movie," Seras responded. "And I was just full of questions was all. I was just rambling." She repeated.

"It's still raining," Alucard purred. "Do we continue with another movie?" Seras smiled softly and she snickered under breath.

"Sure, if you guys want." She happily replied. Both men nodded their heads.

"That would be fine," Sebastian answered.

"Okay," Seras whispered as she glanced back at her movies. "What do you guys want to watch then?"

"Do you have any suggestions?" The demon asked.

"Um, well. We have 'What Dreams May Come', 'The Sixth Sense', 'Pulp Fiction', 'Jurassic Park'," She started listing off.

"Of those movies you listed, which is your favorite?" Alucard asked.

"They're all good," Seras answered. "But…I guess my answer would be…'Jurassic Park'."

"Which is?" The vampire asked with an arched brow. The small blonde glanced over at him with a look of bewilderment on her face.

"You really don't know anything about 'Jurassic Park'?" She asked. "I don't mean to offend, but…have you guys seen anything before?"

"No," Sebastian answered. "We're not really big on films or television."

"Oh," Seras murmured. "Well, we don't have to watch another movie if you don't want to."

"We want to," The demon assured her with a smirk. "We like watching films with you."

"So what is 'Jurassic Park'?" Alucard asked again.

"A man makes this giant theme park full of lab made dinosaurs. Let's just say, everything goes wrong and the dinosaurs break loose." Seras described with a smile.

"They're lab made?" Sebastian asked as he cocked his head to the side. "How?"

"From the blood mosquitos have stored in their bodies. It's all explained in the movie." The small blonde said with a wave of her hand.

"Well, whatever is being done, it doesn't sound scientifically possible." The demon sighed.

"But it's a good movie," Seras stated.

"Very well," Sebastian caved while a small smirk formed on his lips. How could he say 'no' to her? He can't. It just wasn't possible. "Let's watch it then." A giant smile cracked the small blonde's face and she practically bounced back to her shelf to grab the movie.

"When things start going wrong, do people end up dying?" Alucard asked, sounding a little too eager.

"Yes," The little human answered with a nod as she popped the film into the tray.

"Then perhaps this movie won't be so bad." The vampire purred.

"If you guys like it, there's two more movies, though the second movie just isn't as good as the first or third." Seras continued as she made her way back over to the couch. But once again she sat down on the floor in front of the couch. Smoothly, Sebastian lowered himself onto the floor beside her. The little human jolted and she shifted her head to give him a strange look. But he only smirked at her in return.

"Do you mind if I join you down here?" He asked. "I won't evade your space, but I would very much like to sit with you."

"Sure," Seras whispered and then her eyes flickered back to the telly. When the demon wasn't rejected, Alucard decided to make a move as well. He lowered onto the floor to sit next to her on her right. But Seras didn't acknowledge him. Her eyes were glued to the TV even though nothing of interest was happening. There were just old previews for movies. "About earlier," Seras spoke softly, earning their attention. There was a small frown on the girl's face. "I'm sorry,"

"Why are you apologizing?" Sebastian questioned her with a perplexed look on his face.

"For…freaking out on your guys." She explained. "I didn't know anything about being…home. I didn't know that I would feel such a way when…" She trailed off to bite her lower lip. Alucard and Sebastian gazed at her in astonishment. She had said the word 'home', describing the feeling when they had touched her. It was a word only monsters used when mates touched each other. So it completely threw them off when their mortal mate used it so casually. "I'm sorry for what happened. I'm sorry for…running and locking myself in my room." Seras then decided to be completely honest, like they were with her. "I called Elena and…she explained this whole touchy feely thing to me. She said that vampires called it 'home'. Is that right?"

"Yes," Alucard answered softly.

"She said that…it was normal for…that feeling to happen. Maybe I'm not making any sense." Seras sighed and she clicked her tongue in frustration. Saying it out loud, she could hear how ridiculous she sounded. "Maybe…you guys didn't feel…"

"We did," Sebastian quickly assured her.

"It's a feeling that only mates can experience. And we experienced it all with you. We know what you're talking about." Alucard told her.

"Don't be afraid to talk about it or to us." The demon begged of her gently. "Talk to us," He was worried that they were scaring her with talking about it, but he wanted nothing more but to encourage her to talk about it openly. He wanted to know that she understood and that she can trust them. Seras licked over her lips nervously before she proceeded.

"I don't understand it," She admitted with a light shake of her head. "But…I liked it. I liked…feeling at home. Does it…feel the same for…you guys?"

"Do we feel at home when touching you?" Sebastian asked her carefully. The little human shifted her head to look at him. The two stared at each other for a second or two before Seras finally nodded her head. "Yes, we do." The girl released a sigh of relief. They could hear her heart racing in her chest again and the males couldn't help but smile. Finally, their mate was showing signs of accepting them. It thrilled them, but they knew how fast all of this could go away if they did or said something that would screw it all up.

"Do…you guys like it?" She asked. They could see the worried look building up in her gorgeous eyes. Was honestly afraid that they didn't like the feeling that came when they touched her? If anything, it was addictive to them. They were dying to touch their little mate. Alucard was unable to help but ache to feel her naked flesh on his. He was anxious to share intimacy with her on more than one level.

"We did," The vampire whispered. The little human gently bit into her bottom lip as she tried working up the courage to ask them something else.

"Would it…feel that way…every time we touched?" Seras asked them below a whisper.

"Yes," Alucard breathed. His hand snaked closer to her body, daring to touch her thigh, despite her wearing long pants. Unfortunately, cloth did get away in feeling that phenomenal sensation when touching his mate. But even so, he just wanted some type of contact with her.

"Do…you guys…miss…feeling that way?" She whispered. Her cheeks were such a dark red and her wavering blue eyes were locked on her hands that rested in her lap.

"Yes," Sebastian answered softly.

"Do you?" Alucard asked her. The little human didn't say a word, but they did see a very small nod. Such exhilaration shot through both males when they saw that nod. Their stomachs were tight with desire and even their hearts were starting to beat rapidly in their chests.

"Do you wish to feel it again, Seras?" The demon asked her in a whisper. The girl blew air out of her mouth as she tried building up more courage. Her body was trembling but they were unable to tell if it was from fright or from her just being shy. Neither male dared to take their eyes off of her as they waited anxiously for her answer.

"Give me a second," Seras breathed. It was suddenly so hard for her to breathe. Her nerves were haywire, but this wasn't a panic attack. This was…excitement. Why was she so nervous by just wanting to share that feeling with them again? It wasn't like they had just asked her to have sex with them. And yet, it felt extremely intimate as if they were about to have sex. "Can we start off…small?" She asked them carefully. She was too afraid of being overwhelmed again by that feeling of phenomenon. All she had done before was hold Sebastian's hand and felt Alucard's hands on her face. It was better if they did something less than that so it wasn't so overwhelming but still nice. The males' hearts were probably beating just as fast as the human's was now. They hadn't been rejected by their mate. She was willing to try touching them again.

"Meaning?" Alucard asked.

"Um…" Their mate murmured under her breath as she tried thinking. And then she thought of it. Seras glanced down at Alucard's hand and linked her pinky finger with his. The vampire glanced down to where she held onto his pinky and he snickered in amusement. The feeling of home washed over both of them. It was like a gentle wave of comfort, safety, and warmth, and it was no way overwhelming like before. It was just nice. Seras shifted her head to look back at Sebastian. She raised her hand and held out her pinky to him. The demon chuckled at her cuteness before he curled his pinky around hers. Their hands then fell on top of her lap. And that's how they stayed for the remainder of the night. They stayed curled up on the floor watching film after film and holding on to each other's pinkies. Alucard and Sebastian finally felt at home with their mate.
