Good Evening,
I hope you guys enjoy the chapter.
Oxford Not Brogues
Chapter Seven
Alucard and Sebastian sat so quietly on the couch with a seat left open between them. They hadn't been like that the entire time Seras was gone. The vampire had gone on reading a book, actually being able to finish one and move on to another. The demon went about the flat doing his own thing. After Seras had called, the two had got busy reorganizing her flat so it wasn't evident that supernatural beings lived there. Alucard transferred his coffin back to the dusty, old manor. Sebastian gathered all the blood bags from the fridge and stored them in the back of the sink's cupboard. The vampire even changed into normal attire. Now without his red coat and black suit, he wore a simple white button up shirt. He took it a step further, doing as Seras requested, and changed the color of his eyes. Once a red, his eyes were now a dark green. They then just sat there on the couch and waited for Seras to come home with her friends.
They weren't exactly comfortable sitting with a bunch of humans. They would have preferred if Seras came home alone to spend time with just them. They would have been very much happy with watching some sappy movie with their mate curled up between them. That, they would have loved. But, the little human wanted to spend time with her friends; and they understood that perfectly. After all, how much longer did she have as a human? It probably never crossed Seras' mind, but it has crossed theirs many times at night for the last few weeks. Though, that hope that…their mate will move past mortality to become something more for them, so she can live on with them, was slipping. Seras wasn't giving them any positive feedback. Yes, the last two months have gone very, very well. Better than Alucard and Sebastian thought it would go. But…as of today, Seras has been making them feel as if she was purposely distancing herself from them; like she didn't want to be with them. It stung.
What were they going to do if Seras continued pushing them away? Will…Alucard and Sebastian grant her that wish and leave her alone? Or…will they take a risk and…transform her into a vampire without her consent? Would she eventually forgive them if they did that? They were unsure themselves if they would ever take things that far with Seras if she was unwilling. They wanted her so badly that it drove them insane not having her. And it really didn't help any whenever she looked at them with those doe-like eyes of hers and that soft, warm smile on her face; as if all was alright in the world and that she was truly happy being with them. But…still…even with that look on her face, she was still out of their reach. And that was maddening. That little human was untouchable, even though she was theirs. It would drive any person mad not being able to touch something that was rightfully theirs; something that they deeply wanted…something that they needed so badly that it actually ached.
With their great hearing, Alucard and Sebastian heard laughter just outside that door and down the hall. Both men perked up and their eyes shifted to the door. The laughter and footsteps drew closer. Their noses wrinkled when they could smell the alcohol on the mortals from where they sat. But an instant sense of calm came over them when they picked up on their mate's scent among those other humans. An almost serene look seeped into their eyes from that familiar scent; a scent that told them that Seras was home and all was right again. Their muscles relaxed as they waited patiently for that door to open and for them to see the person they so adored…Perhaps, dare they say, even loved. Love was by far very unusual for either of them to feel. While it was true that neither of them had felt love for Seras those two months ago…since then, those feelings of love had started blossoming inside of them.
How could it not? Seras was not only beyond easy to get along with, but she was also so cute, charming, and a little daft. She could make them laugh from her thought process or the questions she asked. They were in no way making fun of her by laughing; they just found her irresistibly cute and couldn't help but laugh. The way she looked at them…it was so different, so refreshing from the way other people stare at them. She no longer looked at them in fear, but with trust and warmth in her eyes. And that tender smile of hers practically made them melt whenever she flashed it. Oh, and how cute she was while simultaneously being sexy. It was an enigma how that girl was able to pull it off, but she does and bravo to her for mastering it. She was able to seduce the oldest and strongest of monsters without even trying. How the mighty have fallen. Yes, Alucard and Sebastian were very much in love with Seras, and they hoped that feeling would never die for her.
The monsters heard it as the key slipped into the lock. The sound was so clear as the mechanisms in the lock clicked. The knob turned and the door was pushed open, instantly revealing the person they valued the most in this world. There she was with her hand on the door knob and her friends standing in the hall behind her. The first thing Seras did when stepping foot in that flat was flash Alucard and Sebastian a welcoming smile.
"Hi," She chirped before she stepped aside to let her friends in. The rowdy bunch piled into her flat, each one carrying a bag full of stuff. Elena had a grocery bag full of bags of crisps, popcorn, and pretzels. The rest of the group had their own little special bag with some type of liquor they favored the most. The group of humans was most definitely loud. They chattered and laughed, the drunken fools. However, that all stopped when the group stepped into the flat and saw who was sitting on the couch. Every human went silent while Elena stood there smirking at them. Seras was far too busy setting her things down on the dining room table to notice the stunned looks on her friends' faces from seeing males in her flat. Seras had indeed mentioned to them that she had guests; they just never imagined that those guests would be two males.
"Seras," Simon called for her.
"Yes?" The small blonde responded as she spun on her heel and smiled.
"Do you care to explain why there are two gorgeous men on your couch?" Her friend asked as he pointed towards the dark haired males.
"Oh!" Seras exclaimed and she took a step forward to grab the bag of groceries from Elena. "I'm sorry. The one sitting all the way to the left is Sebastian. And this is Alucard."
"Uh huh," Simon murmured. He was unsure of what he should think. It only made it more awkward that neither male moved from their spot or said anything. They kept their distance and just stared on. If anything, Alucard and Sebastian looked a little territorial to him; as if these men were daring them to step a foot further into the girl's flat. It definitely sent a shiver up his spine.
"How do you know them?" Brianna broke that uncomfortable silence. Seras still didn't seem to notice though. She was at the dining table pouring the crisps into a big blue bowl.
"Oh, they're friends of mine. They're from out of town and needed a place to crash." She lied. Alucard and Sebastian stared at her when she lied so easily, so naturally. As if she has done this hundreds of times. Why was it so easy for her to say that they were friends and that they were just 'crashing' at her place? It just made it abundantly clear for the monsters that Seras may never see them as her mates. Despite them having no real relationship with Seras, they felt…betrayed. Alucard and Sebastian had such a strong feeling that Seras was ashamed of them or the idea of telling people that she was with them. This dampened their moods drastically. Such a killer look appeared in Alucard's eyes as he thoughtlessly dug his fingers into the armrest of the couch.
By now, all the little humans were finished gawking at them. They were all piled around the dining table talking, grabbing food, and pouring drinks. All but one was in with the rest. Standing in front of them was a redheaded female, Vixen. She stood there with her hands held behind her back and a lustful smirk on her face. The dress she wore showed them plenty of leg, but they just weren't interested in her, and it had nothing to do with Seras. Even before Seras' time, Alucard and Sebastian wouldn't have even looked Vixen's way.
"You're friends of Seras?" Vixen asked carefully, wanting to clarify before things go any further. Sebastian subconsciously glanced at the rest of the humans who were all still gathered around the table talking. Seras had disappeared in the back of the flat.
"Yes," The demon answered. How else was he to answer? Seras had outright told everyone that Alucard and he were only her friends. And she wasn't here now to correct herself or prove anything to Vixen. The smirk only widened on the redhead's face. She felt more comfortable flirting with them now knowing that they were available.
"Oh, good." She whispered as she slowly moved in. Without an invitation, the redhead sat between Alucard and Sebastian, a spot that they had been reserving for Seras. "How long are you guys in town for?" She asked softly as she glanced between both men with want in her eyes. It was more than clear to Alucard and Sebastian what she was trying to do, but they didn't give her any attention. Seras emerged from the back of the flat carrying a board game.
"We agreed on Monopoly, right?" The small blonde asked as she set it down on the coffee table.
"Yeah," Vixen giggled with a bright smile. "It sounds like fun." Seras looked her way and, once seeing where her friend was sitting, that smile fell from her face. But the small blonde attempted to ignore it. Instead, she brought her attention back on the board game in front of her. For a short moment, all Seras could do was sit there and stare at that board game. After gathering herself, she lightly shook her head and got to work setting up the game. The small blonde swallowed, but a lump was caught in her throat. The males could hear that her heart had picked up the pace a little.
"Um…Yeah…Up to eight players can play so…Alucard and Sebastian can play with us…if they want." Seras whispered, feeling a little uncomfortable now. She didn't look at the males; she couldn't find the courage to do so. Did they encourage Vixen to sit with them? Did…they like her? The little human couldn't help but wonder. Quite suddenly, Seras was feeling insecure. It made sense to her why Alucard and Sebastian would be attracted to Vixen because compared to her, Seras was nothing but a child. The redhead actually looked like a woman; she was beautiful and men were always falling at her feet. Why wouldn't Alucard and Sebastian fall at Vixen's feet too? The frown deepened on Seras' face the more she thought about it. "Do you guys…want to play?" The small blonde asked the monsters in a whisper. She still refused to look at them, but that was fine because Alucard and Sebastian were equally upset with her. Neither of them looked at her.
"That's fine," The demon muttered. Seras attempted to ignore the three beings on the couch as she tried setting up the game. She pulled out the dark blue board and unfolded it.
"You guys can bring dining room chairs in if you want. I also have pillows and blankets to use if you want to sit on the floor." The small blonde announced to her other guests.
"Do you have coasters?" Simon asked as he came into the room with his drink and a bowl mixed with crisps and pretzels.
"No," Seras murmured with a light shake of her head. "It's fine if you set the drink on the coffee table. Just be careful of the board game." She pulled out the fake, colorful money and started organizing it. While she was doing this, Simon sat down beside her on the floor. He set his drink down on the coffee table, placed his bowl of food in his lap, and grabbed the instructions to start reading through it. "I thought you've played Monopoly before."
"I have, I just like going over the instructions before the game in case anyone plans on cheating." He commented before a smirk slipped onto his lips. "Brianna," He called out to the girl in the kitchen, teasing her as always.
"Piss off," Brianna laughed. "I don't bloody cheat."
"So, how long are you guys in town for?" Vixen asked for a second time before she casually placed her hand on Sebastian's leg. The demon could feel her thin fingers kneed lightly into his thigh as she felt him up. His dangerous brown eyes narrowed on her hand in displeasure. He intended pushing her hand off, but he was stopped.
Seras, Alucard breathed sensually through telepathy.
"What?" Sebastian whispered and he glanced at the vampire from the corner of his eye. A look of delight shone in Alucard's eyes as he stared ahead of them at something. The corner of the vampire's lips curled into a grin.
Feel that wrath and jealousy. It's practically coming off of her in strong waves. The vampire purred. The demon shifted his head with a baffled look on his face. His gaze lowered and he was stunned to find Seras staring intently at Vixen's hand on his thigh. For the first time since meeting the small blonde, such a strong look of hate showed on her pretty round face. Her eyes were like daggers. It was so fucking arousing to both monsters to see such a deadly look; the look of a little killer on their mate's face. She looked as if she was about to jump over that table and tackle Vixen.
Seras, The demon whispered as lust glistened in his warm brown eyes. It thrilled them that she was showing jealousy all because Vixen had laid a hand on him. Does this mean that she possessed feelings for them after all? The grins on their faces widened.
Seras' heart was racing in her chest when she saw Vixen's hand placed ever so casually on Sebastian's leg. She could actually feel her cheeks getting hot from how angry she was getting. Her hands, holding the many different property cards, trembled as she gripped them tightly. The small blonde was baffled why it angered her so much to see Vixen cozying up to Alucard and Sebastian, but it did. Seeing her touch Sebastian's thigh just got under Seras' skin. She hated it! She hated seeing it! And she hated it even more that Sebastian was allowing it! Her heart was really pounding now and her stomach felt awful; she felt sick to her stomach as it twisted and churned. She was thoughtlessly scowling, but she tried ignoring them. She tried so hard by focusing her gaze elsewhere.
Much to Alucard and Sebastian's discontentment, Seras was temporarily released from that jealous rage when there was a light knock on the door. The small blonde jolted from the sound and she swung her head to look at the door curiously. Simon also glanced over his shoulder to look.
"Is that Marta?" Simon asked.
"Oh, yeah probably." Seras murmured. "I forgot completely that she was coming." The little human pushed off the floor and got up from her spot on the floor. "Brianna, I think Marta is here." Seras called out to her as she approached the door.
"Sorry, I forgot to tell you that she texted me that she's on her way." Brianna answered from the kitchen. Seras pulled open the door to see a short, thin girl with frizzy brown hair and a very pale complexion. The somewhat shy girl smile awkwardly at Seras before giving a little hand wave.
"Hi," Marta greeted softly followed by a small laugh. The small blonde had only met Marta a couple of times, three times tops. While she didn't know her all that well, Seras did like her.
"Hi," Seras responded with a polite smile. She then stepped aside. "Come in. Brianna is in the kitchen. You can grab yourself a drink and some food. We'll be starting the game in several minutes. Get comfortable."
"Thanks for having me." Marta murmured as she stepped hesitantly into the flat. Her dark brown eyes flickered about, but that smile never left her face.
"I'm really glad that you decided to come." The small blonde replied as she closed the door. "You know Simon and Vixen, right?" Seras asked as she pointed towards them, but the second she laid eyes on Vixen, that jealous rage bubbled back up. The smile fell from her face while she stared at that hand that was still placed on Sebastian's leg. Why hadn't he moved her hand off of him yet? It really bothered Seras.
"Yeah," Marta answered with a nod. "I also know Rachel, but…I haven't met them." The brown haired girl pointed towards the dark haired males.
"Oh, yeah, of course." Seras murmured under her breath as she broke herself from that haze a second time. "That's Sebastian and that's Alucard." She pointed towards each male, identifying them to Marta. "They're…very good friends of mine." Her eyes were practically drilling into Vixen's hand on Sebastian's thigh.
"Hi, I'm Marta." The brunette introduced herself to them with another little wave of her hand. Alucard politely nodded his head to the young girl.
"It is a pleasure to meet you." Sebastian purred. Both males were in such a good mood. They were practically grinning ear to ear, and that irked Seras further. They really must have been enjoying Vixen's attention. Seras thought sourly.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both, too. Pardon me, though, I'm going to go see Brianna." Marta mumbled and then she wandered off towards the kitchen. Seras could only stand there and stare openly at Vixen's hand, wondering if she'll ever move it. Vixen seemed entirely unaware that she was being watched so closely by one of her close friends. The redhead was too busy gazing up at Sebastian with bedroom eyes. Her fingers stroked over his thigh sensually. And the demon continued to just sit there and smirk at Seras, waiting for her to do something about this. When Vixen slyly inched her hand up Sebastian's leg, closer towards his intimates, that's when Seras lost it. Instinctively, she clenched her hands into tight fists and glowered at the redhead.
"Vixen," The small blonde couldn't help but have bite behind that word. Vixen gasped and her head shot up to stare at Seras in astonishment from the tone of her voice. It only further pleased Alucard and Sebastian though. God, their cocks were starting to harden from the woman's fiery wrath and her display of dominance. They were hers and they hoped she would notify all that were present that Alucard and Sebastian were her property. Once she had the redhead's attention, she didn't really know what to do or what to say. She was just left standing there feeling so much anger and jealousy. Her heart was beating so fast that she actually felt like she was going to have a heart attack. Why was she so upset? Why couldn't she control her emotions? Why did it bother her so much to see Vixen coming on to them? Seras had only recently discovered her feelings for Alucard and Sebastian. But it wasn't like they were hers. She had no reason to be so possessive towards them. So why was she acting the way she was? Why was she so possessive of them?
"You still haven't grabbed a drink. Why don't you go and do that?" Seras kept from hissing as she glowered at the redhead. Vixen wasn't a fool. She could see the clear jealousy in the small blonde's eyes, and it wasn't hard to figure out why. So, Seras liked the males. It appeared she was hiding a relationship after all, and it made sense why. She was dating two men. Vixen was unable to stop herself from smirking with pride. Who knew Seras, the innocent one of their group, would be sexually involved and possessive of two men? Now knowing that Alucard and Sebastian were completely off limits Vixen raised from her seat.
"Sure," The redhead answered with a slight nod. "Sorry," She added and then walked off towards the kitchen. Seras watched after her carefully, giving her such a look that the monsters were actually expecting her eyes to be consumed by a demonic red color. Their little mate was fucking glorious. Ever so calmly, the little human walked around Simon, stepped over the vampire's long legs, and she took claim of the spot between Alucard and Sebastian. It was her rightful spot.
"Seras," Sebastian whispered her name with a crooked smirk on his face. But he was instantly silenced when his mate turned to give him a death glare. He could have sworn he had just felt his heart leap into his throat from that look she gave. For the very first time in life, Sebastian actually feared for his life. He felt as if this five foot five girl would be able to kill him, a powerful ancient demon. She would probably tear his heart out through his ass by that malevolent look that she was giving him.
"Was I interrupting your moment with Vixen?" Seras hissed under her breath, trying not to alert Simon or anyone else.
"What?" The demon questioned in disbelief.
"Do you honestly believe we want anything to do with that floozy?" Alucard snickered.
"Ouch," Simon chuckled. All three looked at the human male who was sitting on the floor. Simon was still reading from the instructions, but it was clear that he was also listening in on their conversation. Seras rolled her eyes at him in frustration before she brought her attention back on Alucard.
"Well it looked that way. Sebastian just let her rest her hand on his thigh." The small blonde stated softly. She then shifted her head to look back at the guilty demon. "You didn't push it off or say anything to her. I thought that we were…" The males' eyes widened even though she never finished that sentence. She sighed and looked down at her lap. "Will there be others?"
"Others?" Alucard asked with an arched brow.
"Women," Seras whispered.
"You fear that we will take interest in other women?" Sebastian asked to clarify. The small blonde simply nodded her head. "No," He was so quick to answer.
"Never," The vampire added. The girl frowned though, looking as if she didn't believe them in the slightest.
"We swear to you, Seras. Vixen doesn't mean anything to us." The demon whispered to her. He then leaned down closer towards Seras. Another wicked grin graced his lips as he whispered something into her ear. "Just so you know the only reason why I didn't remove that woman's hand from my leg is because I liked that look of jealousy you had displayed on your face. It was so lovely…and arousing." Sebastian breathed causing her cheeks to turn a bright scarlet. He snickered under his breath. "You are an adorable, little creature." He whispered absently as he brushed his finger down her blushed cheek. "Now," He sat up straighter in his seat. "Why don't we start this game you picked out?"
The night didn't calm down at all after that little talk. The humans piled around the coffee table, claiming avatar pieces left and right before 'fighting' over who got to go first. Simon and Brianna sat on the floor, both very competitive while Vixen, Rachel, and Marta sat laughing on dining room chairs. Elena was seated on the armchair across from the couch. She was pretty quiet the entire evening as they all watched Simon and Brianna fight each other over properties and money. Alucard and Sebastian were relatively good sports as they played along. They didn't much care for the game they were playing or care for the people they were playing with. But they had no complaints; after all, they were only there to spend time with Seras.
Within the hour, the game had been completely forgotten about. Simon, Brianna, Rachel, and Vixen started goofing off. They were beyond drunk and so very giggly. They kept swapping stories, making impressions of different people, and just acting like complete fools. Elena, Marta, and Seras found it all very humorous. Neither male wanted to keep Seras from her fun, so they sat there quietly and just listened to all of this nonsense. They enjoyed hearing her laugh and seeing her smile. It was almost relaxing to them to see her in that state. Seras tried involving them as much as she could. She attempted to drag them into every conversation or explain a certain story to them since they weren't present when something happened to one of her friends. But they didn't really participate in any of it.
Seras was so antsy sitting between Alucard and Sebastian. She was really happy to be hanging out with her friends, but she just couldn't stop thinking about what will happen after her friends leave. She was so anxious to talk with Alucard and Sebastian, admit her feelings, and see where it goes. So many scenarios went through her head. What will they say to her? How will they feel? Not knowing was eating her up on the inside. She wanted to act; she wanted to do something! Seras peeked at Alucard from the corner of her eye. The vampire was sitting there so coolly. His head rested against his fist with his arm propped up on the armrest. He stared on at her friends. And even though she could tell that he was bored out of his mind, he still had a smirk gracing his lips. The small blonde had noticed earlier that Alucard's eyes were now a dark green. The color was nice, but she couldn't help but think that red definitely suited him. She almost missed the red in his eyes, which was unusual for her because she used to fear them.
Seras then glanced to her right at the demon. Sebastian was attempting to act more involved than Alucard. The demon was actually sitting up straight, smiling politely at all of her friends, and he would every now and then say something to add onto the conversation. Though, a majority of the time he did keep quiet, which bothered Seras a little. She wanted Alucard and Sebastian to have fun. She knew that none of these people were their friends, but she still hoped that the monsters would get along just fine with the humans. Hopefully she can make it up to them later tonight for being good sports about all this. The small blonde's eyes then flickered down to stare at the demon's thigh. She couldn't help but recall earlier when Vixen had so casually placed her hand on Sebastian's thigh. Seras sighed through her nose and she frowned. It baffled her how Vixen had such confidence do these sorts of things with complete strangers. Seras knew Alucard and Sebastian and yet she couldn't imagine herself working up the confidence to act like Vixen acted.
Why couldn't she though? What was stopping her? She's held Alucard and Sebastian's hands before. Why couldn't she take it one step further with them? And…she was anxious to show them how she felt for them anyway. She didn't necessarily have to wait for this little gathering to end; she could start now. But Seras didn't act on her feelings. She just sat there and stared at her lap. Why was she the way she was? Why couldn't she find the confidence to do the things she wanted to do? Why was she always so bashful and afraid? It just wasn't fair. Acting on that small bit of frustration, Seras found her confidence. Her hand shot out to land directly on Alucard's leg. Instantly, her eyes flew open wide and she felt her heart drop to her stomach. She lost all courage and was unable to look at the vampire who now stared at her in astonishment. She just sat there under his gaze with her hand resting so 'casually' on his thigh, like she had every right.
Alucard stared at her for a long few seconds before he snickered under his breath. That grin on his lips widened and he tenderly placed a hand on top of hers. He then brought his attention back on her dopey friends. Seras felt a great sense of calm wash over her when Alucard accepted her hand placement. She actually released a sigh of relief and was able to relax her muscles. Her blue irises flickered back to where her hand rested beneath his. He was gingerly holding onto her hand, refusing to allow her to move it, and that was perfectly fine with her. A gentle smile found its way on her lips and she felt comforted. She then glanced back to her right to stare quizzically at Sebastian. Smoothly, the little human leaned back in her seat while she tried to think of a way to make contact with him. Naturally, her arm brushed over his and before she even knew it, she was acting. She wrapped her arm around his and interlaced her fingers with his.
The demon was bewildered when he suddenly felt a hand in his own. He quickly glanced down to see such a dainty hand clasping his much larger one. Sebastian's brown eyes flickered upwards to stare at Seras. She was staring ahead at her friends, but she had such a bashful smile on her face and a deep blush on her cheeks. She knew fully well that he was staring at her, but she was boasting with pride for actually finding the courage to do this. A smirk crept onto Sebastian's face. He clasped her hand a little tighter, but was careful not to break her hand, which would have been very easy for him to do. When he was assured that he wasn't using too much strength, he settled back in his seat and proceeded to smirk victoriously. While all they ever did was hold hands before, this felt extraordinarily different from all the other times. It felt more…intimate to him. Seras had been incredibly jealous over Vixen and now she was trying to display her dominance on them. Unfortunately, the tender moment didn't last.
"I'm sorry," Vixen interrupted Simon in the middle of what he was saying. The drunken redhead waved her hand. She was leaned forward in her chair with a half empty glass of vodka in her hand. She had quite a bit to drink tonight, even before she had arrived at Seras' flat. Vixen was practically on the verge of blacking out at this point if she has a drink or two more. When mostly everyone's attention was on her, Vixen pointed towards Seras. "But are you dating them?" The smile was so quick to fall from Seras' lips and her face paled. She had finally just worked up the courage to make some type of move on Alucard and Sebastian and this happens. The rest of her friends glanced over at her, and they all saw that she was now intimately holding onto Sebastian while her other hand rested on Alucard's leg. Embarrassed, Seras slipped her hands back into her lap, losing all physical contact with the males completely. This didn't sit well with Alucard or Sebastian. They didn't like in the slightest that Vixen had discouraged Seras when their mate had finally made a move. So fast that brief happiness they had felt was replaced with burning rage and unfathomable need to slaughter. Their looks became deadly as they glowered at the redhead. However, nobody took notice to this because the rest of Seras' friends were annoyed with Vixen as well.
"Vixen," Brianna spoke as she shifted her head to look up at the redhead. "That's none of our business." Vixen glanced down at her with that foolish smile still on her face.
"What? It was just a question. She doesn't need to be so bashful about it. And I don't even know why she's trying to hide it; it's pretty obvious to everyone here that she's dating them both." The redhead proceeded, causing Seras to slump lower into her chair out of pure embarrassment.
"Vixen, stop." Elena warned her.
"Come on. They're her 'very' good friends that are just crashing at her place? And now that conversation back at the club really makes sense." Vixen added. Seras' eyes widened and she straightened up so fast in her seat.
"Vixen!" Seras exclaimed. The small blonde wanted to fucking die. She was so damn embarrassed. Alucard and Sebastian both curiously glanced down at their mate with furrowed brows. What in the hell did she discuss with Vixen at the club? It was evident that Seras didn't want them to hear it, but it worried them of what she might've discussed with that other female. "That was a private conversation." She whispered.
"I think you've had enough to drink." Brianna muttered as she took the glass of vodka from Vixen.
"You guys are acting like I'm shaming her or something." The redhead groaned in annoyance as she leaned back in her chair. "I'm not! I'm trying to be supportive! I'm hella proud of her!" Seras was unable to sit there for a second longer and listen to this. She just couldn't believe what was happening; that Vixen was making it abundantly clear to all that Seras was involved with two men. The small blonde stepped into her kitchen, hoping to get something to drink just to distract her until this small nightmare was over.
"You're insufferable." Elena hissed.
"I didn't mean…" Vixen attempted to stand up for herself, but she was interrupted.
"She clearly wasn't ready to discuss it. So drop it, Vixen." Brianna warned her for the final time.
"You do need to learn to add your two cents in only when it's appropriate." Sebastian spoke up finally, earning everyone's attention. He was still glowering at her. "This subject was none of your concern, and even if Seras had decided to share it with you, you should have respected that it was still a subject meant to be kept private. And perhaps you meant well trying to be supportive of your friend. But that's not what you did. After she had finally found the courage to act on her feelings, you embarrassed her in front of the rest of her friends. Why you had to mention it to the rest of the room of what was happening is beyond me. We were do nothing more but holding her hand." At this point, Vixen was frowning deeply in shame.
"I'm sorry, Seras." The redhead announced, but there was no response from the kitchen. Brianna sighed and got up from her spot on the floor.
"Just…go back to playing the game. I'll go talk to her." Brianna muttered before she walked off. Seras stood in the kitchen leaning against the sink. She was drinking a small bit of red wine from a glass. "Seras, I'm sorry about Vixen. I know, I know she's a pain and I know how she gets when she's drunk, but…I don't think she meant to embarrass you like that. Her drunken heart meant well." She snickered, but Seras wasn't laughing. The small blonde licked over her lips before she set her glass down on the counter.
"It wasn't…I just…She shouldn't…" Seras attempted to get out a sentence, but she was just unable to. Her thoughts and feelings were completely scattered at the moment. She was purely upset and didn't know what to do or say. She couldn't even look at Brianna because…she felt shameful.
"You don't need to feel embarrassed, Seras." Brianna told her softly with a light shake of her head. "We would never judge you; you're our friend. Look at me and Simon," She proceeded in a whisper. "His family completely disowned him when he came out and all because he was attracted to men. How can a family forget years of loving someone like that? And my family…Well, my mom still allows me over to the house, but she has trouble looking in me the eye ever since I told her. And my dad…and my…sisters? They won't even talk to me. Hell, there's even Vixen and her open relationship thing she has going on with Gabriel. People see her and think she's pure trash. Why? What Vixen and Gabriel do makes them happy. It's an unusual relationship, but it's a relationship they're happy with." Seras finally looked at her. For the first time since Vixen had opened her big mouth, a look of realization and relief flitted back onto the small blonde's face. "Seras, you didn't judge us on our sexuality. You never looked down on us or treated us any different, like our families or other people did. We're your friends, and we love you. Whatever you have going on, whatever your sexuality is or whatever kind of love you want to possess, it's alright. We won't judge you. Just as long as you're happy and staying safe, we'll be supportive."
The two girls stared at each other for a long while. Brianna was smiling so warmly, waiting patiently for her friend to respond. Eventually, Seras came forward and wrapped her arms around her neck, hugging her tightly. Brianna didn't think twice about returning the hug.
"Thank you," Seras whispered. She felt somewhat better. A sudden weight had been lifted off of her and she found it easier to breathe. The small blonde had Elena to talk to about Alucard and Sebastian, but it felt good knowing that she had other friends, like Brianna, to talk to.
"I love you, girl." Brianna snickered in her ear and her arms tightened around her.
"Nothing…has happened between us yet; I mean…I haven't told them my feelings." The small blonde told her. "But…they've told me that…they would wait patiently until I was ready to move forward."
"They treat you well?" Her friend asked softly.
"Yeah, really well. They're always so…gentle and sweet." Seras answered.
"They haven't said much so I don't really know them that well, but…just by the way they look at you, I know that they're both crazy for you." She snickered. "I can tell that they make you really happy. You haven't stopped smiling or blushing the entire time you were next to them."
"Thank you for being so understanding." Seras whispered.
"I'm here whenever you need me." Brianna promised her before they were both interrupted.
"Pardon my intrusion," Sebastian spoke softly. Both girls broke apart to glance over at the demon. He didn't look angry anymore, only concerned. His brown melancholic eyes were narrowed on his little mate. "I just wanted to see if Seras was alright."
"I'm fine," Seras answered with a small smile. "I just needed to collect myself was all. Sorry I left like that."
"It's alright," The demon answered with a tender smile. He then glanced at Brianna. "Thank you for being such a good friend to Seras. But…I would appreciate it if I could have a moment alone to speak with her."
"Sure," Brianna whispered with a nod of her head. She then pointed towards the exit. "I'll just keep the group occupied and get their minds off of all this."
"Thanks, Brianna." Seras responded as she watched her friend leave. Sebastian slowly approached his mate.
"Are you truly alright then, Seras?" He asked her carefully. His eyes flickered up and down her body, as if he was looking for visible wounds. He stopped when he was about arm's length of her.
"I'm fine," Seras repeated with a slight nod.
"What you did was perfectly alright." Sebastian assured her as he stared at her thoughtfully. "Alucard and I…" He trailed off to gather his thoughts before proceeding. "We greatly admired your effort and we were both pleased that you did make that move. I am deeply sorry that Vixen ruined it though, Seras. I hope this doesn't discourage you in the future. I would hate to see…" Sebastian physically jumped when Seras pounced forward to press her warm lips against his. A sense of serenity washed over his with a mixture of elation. His heart pounded hard in his chest and he thoughtlessly just stood there. He didn't pull her closer or embrace her; he didn't even kiss her back. He just stood there staring down at her with wide eyes full of disbelief. But he was just so lost in the kiss. It was far more thrilling than he had ever imagined it to be like. Being kissed by her, by his mate, was like…like…Well, there were no words to describe it. He was purely just staggered by such a phenomenal feeling as he was kissed by those luscious, sultry lips.
Seras' perfect lips left his, giving off a small smack sound as they parted. Afterwards, she gave a small breathy laugh, delighted that she had finally found the courage to do something about her feelings. She then finally opened her eyes to look at him. He was mesmerized by that sparkle in her eyes and that tender smile on her lips. He was unable to stop himself from raising a hand to cup her cheek lovingly into it. His thumb brushed along that red blush while he stared deeply into those eyes.
"I'm sorry for interrupting you like that." Seras apologized in a whisper. "I just…wanted to know what it would feel like. And I just got such a strong urge right then to just…kiss you." Her eyes then drifted downwards to stare at the floor. "I've been dying to tell you and Alucard how I've been feeling."
"And what is it that you've been feeling?" A sensual voice interrupted. The small blonde glanced over Sebastian's shoulder to find Alucard strolling into the kitchen. He had been coming in to check on her but had overheard what she had been saying. An almost sinister grin was on his lips as he walked the rest of the way over to them. Sebastian's hand slipped from Seras' cheek before he hesitantly took a step back. His mind was still racing from that splendid kiss she had given him. But, overall, he was quite happy and content. The demon smiled down at her ever so lovingly with a warm glint in his eyes. The small blonde stared up at the vampire with a bashful look on her face. She smiled sheepishly at them.
"You want to talk about it right now?" Seras asked.
"Why not?" Alucard questioned in a purr. He raised a dark brow before bending a little to come more to her level. "As of right now we are alone. And, supposedly, it's been killing you not being able to reveal your feelings to us. What are your feelings, my dear?"
"I…really like you guys." The little human admitted to them with a dark blush. "But…more than friends. I…I'm ready to take things further." Honestly, hearing those words from her were absolutely shocking and enthralling for Alucard and Sebastian both. Earlier that night, they had discussed how Seras may never be ready to take things further with them. They feared that their mate would reject them and was possibly still scared of them. It was beyond relieving now knowing that Seras wanted them; perhaps not as much as they wanted her, but this was a start. Eventually, they'll get Seras to love them back. "Is…that okay?" The small blonde asked them shyly. Sebastian chuckled at her foolishness.
"You're asking if that's alright? As if you think that we would back out now after you admitted your feelings to us?" The demon teased her lightly. "Seras, dear, you can't scare us away." A crooked smirk formed on his lips while his eyes gleamed with amusement. "We were already yours, and now you are asking to become ours." Her entire face became such a deep red while that smile on her lips widened. "We are more than alright with that. We're ecstatic."
"However," Alucard spoke and his grin faltered slightly. "Just because you're unable to scare us away doesn't mean that we're unable to scare you away still." The smile slipped from Seras' faces and she furrowed her brows in worry.
"What do you mean, Alucard?" She whispered nervously.
"Seras," The vampire sighed with an almost defeated look in his eyes. "Don't forget what we are. We're not human." He reminded her.
"I-I know," Seras responded before she lowered her head to stare at the floor. "I haven't forgotten. But…that doesn't mean my feelings have changed." She added with a small smile. Alucard continued to frown though. He wanted to have a serious discussion with her about the transformation, but he was concerned that it might scare her away. Seras, on the other hand, thought Alucard was referring to sex. "I've thought about it…several times." She admitted to them. This stunned the monsters.
"You have?" Sebastian asked. The small blonde nodded her head, and there that blush was again appearing on her lovely cheeks. "You thought about it carefully?"
"I have. I thought about it carefully and even discussed it with Elena." Seras answered.
"And?" Alucard asked, unable to believe what she was telling him. By the look on her face he could only assume that Seras was willing to be turned. Dare he say that she even looked excited? Those gorgeous blue eyes of hers flickered back up to stare at them. And that smile of hers brightened all the more.
"Actually," The little human whispered. "I…would like…to…try it right now." Alucard and Sebastian's eyes widened at the same time as they stared at her in pure shock.
"Right now?" The vampire asked her. He really couldn't wrap his mind around this. Seras wanted to be turned right now?! Their little mate laughed and she lightly shook her head.
"Obviously not here in the kitchen." She giggled. "We should go somewhere a little more private. How about you guys just meet me in the restroom or something, alright? I would say my bedroom, but if my bedroom door is closed my friends will be too suspicious. So you and Sebastian should probably teleport, or whatever it is that you do, in the restroom." The males could only stand there and stare at her with their mouths actually hanging open.
"Are you sure, Seras?" Sebastian asked her for a second time.
"I am," Seras answered with such excitement and…even arousal glistening in her eyes, much to their bewilderment. "Don't…you guys…want…" Before she could even finish that sentence, Alucard was speaking.
"Of course this is what we want. We just…We didn't know that this is what you wanted." The vampire responded.
"We're astounded," Sebastian agreed. Seras giggled again.
"I'm glad that you're both excited. I was kind of nervous suggesting it." She admitted. "I was going to wait until after everyone left…but honestly, I don't think I can wait that long. I just…want to be with you both at the moment. I want to feel at home with you guys and…share my feelings in a more intimate way."
"Are you sure you wish to do this in the restroom though, Seras?" Sebastian asked her while giving her a strange look.
"I know it's a little weird, but…it's the only place I can think of that will give us some privacy. So I'll meet you guys there, alright?" Seras said before giving them a playful little wink. The little human then left the gaping monsters standing there in the kitchen. Alucard and Sebastian were both speechless.
"She...wants to be turned into a vampire." The demon spoke, still looking so very shocked.
