Chapter 10: The rise of the Human sized Geed!
It has been a few days sense the battle with the supposit 'four great demons', during that time both Jack and Sierra have gone out on a few dates and have gotten pretty close, much to June's relief and joy seeing her son find someone in his life. But during his off time both Jack and Raf have been working on the suit that was on the computer and have made great strides in its construction, thanks to the tech available there on Griffin Rock.
"Just think with this we can find a way for you to be able to use your powers in human form." Raf said.
"Pretty sure I can already, I just need time to find out how." Jack said and just then both June and Sierra walked in.
"I see you've been busy with a little project." June said with some mirth.
"Yep, this suit is designed to tap into my Ultra abilities and make it so I can use them while still in human form." Jack explained briefly.
"Although signs of the possibility of doing that are showing." RE.M said.
"Yeah apparently by the time I'm in my near 30's I can do it without the suit, according to RE.M that is." Jack said.
"It'll be so cool, just give yourself a hero name and go stop crime and you could get noticed by the League!" Pega said.
"Pega! That is not why I'm building this suit, the reason is I like to be prepared for when a situation calls for it." Jack said as he worked, this made June smile.
"I see you aren't looking for popularity, which is a good thing." June said.
"League?" Bumblebee asked.
"The Justice league, Earth has its own superheroes, besides Ultra's of course." Jack said.
"Though, I surmise that they'll probably seek you out soon." RE.M said.
"Wait, why do you say that?" Sierra questioned.
"It's likely that they have heard of me at this point, and not to mention there's been rumors that they have rebuilt the Watchtower up in space and that they seem to be recruiting more heroes. Though again, it's just a rumor." Jack said before finishing up on his work with what appears to be the last piece of the armor.
"But there's plenty of other heroes, albeit some are a bit wacky, remember Redman?" Raf said.
"Yeah, the guy that fought any Kaiju he saw even if they weren't doing anything, I hate that guy." Jack said before he stood up and walked over to the armor in questioned and attached the last component. "And that should do it, Raf?" Jack said as there's some wires hooked up to Raf's laptop, who did a quick diagnostic and found that everything is in working order.
"Everything's okay, all systems green." Raf said.
"Good, that's what I wanted to hear." Jack said.
"It looks like an iron man version of you." Miko said.
"Really? Your basing the suit from that old comic?" Jack deadpanned.
"What it looks like a mechanical iron man style Geed." Miko said.
"Yeah right, especially when there's other hero's that have their own advance suits of armor." Jack retorted.
"I'm just saying why make it look like your ultra self?" Miko asked.
"Mostly because of the fact that it helps me tap into my Ultra powers, while the other is to help keep my identity a secret from everyone ells." Jack said.
"Whatever, where's our suits?" Miko asked.
"What makes you think there's anymore? Especially given your track record of getting into trouble?" Jack retorted.
"How are we supposed to defend ourselves from the cons?" Miko asked.
"Well when Pega and Raf get a little older they'll be able to do more than open dark zone portals." RE.M said.
"I mean more about me, I don't have any powers and neither does Sierra nor does Laiha." Miko said.
"Whoa! Don't drag me into this Miko! I for one do not want to get any more involved than I already am!" Sierra said.
"And Laiha can defined herself. Besides the suit is designed for Ultra Hybrids only, not humans so your point is moot." Jack said.
"Well that sucks. So if we run into a con we're pretty much dead." Miko said.
"Hey, I didn't say I wasn't making something for you guys." Jack said getting her attention.
"Really?!" Miko said.
"Yes, but not now. It's going to take some time before they're ready to be used in the field." Jack said.
"Aww!" Miko said whining, causing everyone to laugh a bit at this. Pega then turned on the TV and its currently covering what occurred a few days ago.
"This is Huskly Prescot, covering an event that Griffin Rock could not have been prepared to see coming. A few days ago four Kaiju appeared and fought the latest Ultraman, Geed, with the help of four other Kaiju and most surprisingly the King himself." Huskly said.
"Surprised they're letting him on network TV." Jack said just then Chief Burns walked in with his youngest son Cody in toe.
"That's more than likely because he secretly had the battle filmed with a camera drone while no one was looking, luckily the mayor was able to have him edit out the parts of the Autobots or face Government punishment." Chief Burns said.
"We were also able to edit out the Rescue Bots, they're still gonna have to act like robots, but I think Heatwave will enjoy that." Cody said.
"That's good." Jack said before Cody noticed Jack's suit that they just finished building.
"Is that your suit? Noble!" Cody said.
"Yeah, we just finished building it. Now all that's left to do is give it a test run." Jack said.
"Are you sure that its safe to use?" Chief Burns questioned.
"He wouldn't be putting it on if it wasn't." June said, Chief Burns nodded in understanding as the boy looks pretty smart enough to know when it's safe to use and when it's not.
"Well… there's a section of the island where nobody goes, he can test it there." Chief Burns said.
"Cool." Jack said.
"That can work." Raf said.
"We'll test it out later, right now I believe that I'm supposed to attend to something more important?" Jack said before looking to Sierra who smiled.
"Why yes, I believe you do, Mr. Darby." Sierra said before Jack made a mock bow.
"Shall we?" Jack said before Sierra took hold of his arm.
"We shall." Sierra said before they both left.
"Still weird seeing him with a girl." Pega said.
"Hey!" Miko pouted.
"Present company excluded." Pega said.
Raf chuckled a bit at this, meanwhile Jack and Sierra had gathered some items and had Bumblebee take them to the beach sense it's a very sunny day, so Sierra wanted to spend some time at the beach and she secretly wanted to see Jack without his shirt and see how he'd react to the bathing suit she got, by suggestion of June of course.
Jack finished setting up their area as he put the umbrellas up and their chairs, Jack clapped his hands together as he looked at his work and knew that he did a good job. Currently Jack is wearing a dark blue swim trunks, a pair of dark blue sandals, and is bear chest showing off his chiseled body that seems to have gained some more muscle than before.
"Finished." Jack said happily as he sat down in his chair, what he didn't noticed was someone walking up behind him before covering his eyes.
"Guess who?" Sierra said from behind him.
"Very funny Sierra." Jack said before Sierra removed her hands and Jack turned around to see quite a sight that took his breath away.
For Sierra stood there wearing a two piece light blue bikini that shows off her unblemished light tan skin, and Jack has to say that she has a body that other girls back at the high school would kill for, with her long, beautiful legs, to all the curves in the right places, medium bountiful breasts, and a very beautiful face with her hair loose as it flowed down her back. Jack's face turns red as his mouth hanged open, while Sierra had a small blush on her face as well though she will admit that it seems June was right about this bikini, Jack shook his head to get himself under control and not let his hormones get the better of him.
"S-So, what do you think?" Sierra asked while she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"I think I'm lucky my nose didn't start bleeding." Jack said this made Sierra smile a bit at this before she went over and sat down in the other chair that's set up. "Now this is more like it, no Decepticons, no Kaiju, no power hungry Seijins, just some relaxation and soaking up some rays." Jack said as he sat back and relaxed.
"Yeah… I'm so glad that I agreed to some along with you." Sierra sigh out as she relaxed as well.
"Any guy would be lucky to spend time with a babe like you... I just said that out loud didn't I?" Jack said though this made Sierra smirk before she adjusted herself and settled into a sexy pose on the chair.
"Yes, yes you did. And to be honest, I take it as a complement. Though this whole thing is just for you~." Sierra said, Jack grunted as blood came out of his nose and quickly covered his nose, he calmed himself and took out a tissue and wiped away the blood that flowed.
"Damn, you sure know how to turn a guy on, don't ya?" Jack said this made Sierra shrug.
"To be honest, you're the first guy that didn't go out with me than just for my body or face, but rather you saw me for who I am." Sierra said.
"Well I didn't fall for the beauty I fell for the kind girl that you are, to me it doesn't matter what's on the outside, it matters more about the inside, and when I look at you I see kindness that reaches the heavens." Jack said this made Sierra giggle at this.
"I swear, you can be a Shakespeare and not know it." Sierra said.
The two shared a laugh as they leaned back in their chairs and enjoyed their time at the beach as they soak up some rays, meanwhile Optimus is currently behind the firehouse with all of the Rescue Bots standing at attention, after deactivating their weapon systems, they are now waiting for Optimus opinion on how they've grown sense they arrived on Earth a few months ago.
"Rescue Force Sigma 17, you all have improved much sense my last routine inspection, I'm impressed by what I see." Optimus said.
"Whenever disaster strikes there are Rescue Bots." Chase said.
"Indeed, however make no mistake that Earth is still unpredictable, as we've seen with the Kaiju thus far." Optimus said.
"Wherever there is trouble we'll be there." Heatwave said.
"And I am glad to hear that." Optimus said. "Now I will be leaving in a few days, I'll watch any rescues that come up to see how you all handle them before my departure." Optimus finished.
"It'd be a honor sir." Heatwave said.
"Come, let's return inside." Optimus said.
The rescue bots walked back inside the firehouse, where the Burns family was talking with the Darby's as they look at the suit armor that both Jack and Raf recently built.
"He's really that good?" Kade asked.
"Yep." June said.
"Man, its just crazy to think that Ultramen can have children with humans." Kade said.
"Trust me, we were surprised when we found out I was carrying Jack many years back, his father more so than I." June said.
"That reminds me, you said his father is an Ultra. But you didn't say which Ultra exactly." Chief Burns said.
"Yeah." June said not liking were this was going, neither did the rest of her family or Miko.
"So that begs the question, who's his father?" Gram asked.
June gave Optimus a look and he gave her a nod making her sigh
"His father is Belial." June said shocking everyone that didn't know that.
"Please tell me I heard that wrong?" Dani asked.
"Nope." Miko said.
"So… that means that Jack is the literal son of Ultraman Belial." Kade said slowly.
"Yes." June said.
"Oh man, that must have been quite a shocker." Kade said.
"Yeah, but I still love him." June said with a smile, one that Chief Burns can understand all too well.
"I understand that feeling." Chief Burns said.
"Imagine me with this baby I'd make one awesome hero." Kade said looking at Jack's suit but when he touched it, it zapped his hand. "OW! The hell was that?!" Kade exclaimed as he held his hand.
"The suit is designed to be used only by Human-Ultra hybrids, so it expected that it would do that to full blooded humans." Raf said.
"How tough will this make him anyway?" Cody asked.
"It'll possibly make him on par if not more than Superman himself." RE.M said, shocking everyone but Raf as he knew of this already.
"Whoa, over prepared much?" Dani said.
"The suits just boosting what Jack has but the trick is allowing him to be able to use the abilities of all his other forms in one." Raf said
"Basically it's just allowing him to do what he can already do we were wondering if we could allow the armor to change into forms matching his other forms or just allow them all in one armor." Pega said
"That a very advance suit of armor, maybe I can help out?" Graham said.
"We'd appreciate it because knowing Jack, he's not gonna be wearing that until he can handle everything this world can throw at him." RE.M said.
"Or that he'd have no choice but to use it." June added.
"So do we want to be something he can wear or like a robot?" Pega asked.
"We could add a A.I to aid him, or let Mom connect to it." Raf said.
"I believe it would be better if I just integrate myself into the suit when he's using it." RE.M said.
"And how do we let him be able to wear it, do we bring it to him, or do we make it into a backpack or a watch?" Raf asked.
"It can be summoned via the bracelet that you two made." RE.M said making Raf remembered that tidbit.
"I was wondering why we built that first, so where is it?" Raf said.
"He has it with him, just incase he needs it." RE.M said.
"Now we just need to think of what to do next, make suits for his other forms or keep it as it is so he can already use the powers of Solid Burning, Acro Smasher and the others with it." Raf said.
"Geez, everything all in one form, no wonder you say he could be stronger than Superman." Kade said, before RE.M analyzed the suit and found something interesting.
"Well, it seem Jack made sure to add a transformation function into it, however it would require the two capsules of certain forms to initiate the sequence." RE.M reported.
"Geeze, he really is prepared for anything." Dani said.
"It'd be awesome if he could change an arm to that of a Kaiju's." Miko said.
"Like Ultraman Victory could?" Raf said.
"Yeah! That guy's ability to change his arm into a Kaiju's was the coolest thing I ever saw!" Miko said.
"That would be interesting but how?" Raf said.
"I'm afraid that ability is far out of our reach as that's an ability exclusive to Victory himself." RE.M said as she ran the numbers and saw the results.
"Awe man!" Miko whined before she brightened up as something came to her. "Another awesome ability to have would be to become a Kaiju or find a way to make a armor out of them." Miko said.
"Me and Raf thought that to, we're still trying to find a way." Pega said, just then Chief burns cell phone went off.
"This is the Chief go ahead." Chief Burns said as he listened to what the emergency is, this got everyone's attention. "Got it we'll take care of it." Chief Burns said as he hung up. "Out of control lawn mowers got sprayed by the sprinklers in the park." he said.
"Again?" The rest of the Burns family said in unison.
"Yep, I told the Mayor that they needed to be waterproof, but he obviously didn't have it done." Chief Burns said.
"How many are there this time?" Cody asked.
"At least 14, so that means all of them." Chief Burns said.
"What's so dangerous about lawnmowers?" Miko asked.
"They are when they're robots, the bots had to take on a bunch of them when the central computer got a virus in it thanks to Dr. Morocco." Cody said.
"And they're not like your normal lawnmower they're all razor." Kade said.
"So basically, there's 14 robotic lawnmowers that are out of control and are armed with razor sharp blades that can cut through anything?" June questioned.
"That's the gest of it." Dani said before Raf remembered something.
"Wait, wouldn't that mean everyone is in danger of them?" Raf asked.
"Uh yeah!" Kade said.
"Then that means that both Jack and Sierra are in danger as well!" Raf said.
"Where did the caller say they were?" June asked.
"Near the beach!" Chief Burns said just then the Rescue Bots walked in.
"What's going on?" Heatwave asked.
"All 14 lawnmowers are out of control again and they're heading to the beach!" Kade said.
"Rescue Bots roll to the rescue!" Heatwave said before transforming along with the other Rescue Bots.
"Optimus I'd invite you and the others, but it'd be hard to explain 3 new bots on Griffon Rock." Chief Burns said.
"I understand we will be here if you need us." Optimus said, Chief Burns nodded before he jumped into Chase and all the Rescue Bots rolled or flew out of the fire house.
Meanwhile both Jack and Sierra had decided it was time to head back and packed up everything changed back into their clothes.
"That was so nice." Sierra said as they walked to Bumblebee.
"Yeah, we should definitely do this again." Jack said before they noticed a lot of people screaming and running away from something. "Great what now?" Jack said.
They soon saw red robotic lawnmowers going all over the place, as they shredded whatever is in their path.
"You've got to be kidding." Jack said before he started to hear something from them that sounded strange.
"Jack?" Sierra said noticing Jack's expression.
"Are they laughing?" Jack said as the lawnmowers seemed to be making laughing sounds.
"I would question that, but shouldn't we be running by now?" Sierra asked.
"Not going to argue with that, common." Jack said before taking her hand and ran off and they both hid in an alley.
"Why didn't we make a run for Bee?" Sierra questioned.
"Too far, and he's too close to them for us to reach." Jack said before pulling out a black bracelet with a small blue gem at the top. "I had hoped to have tested it out in a controlled environment, but I guess there's no choice." Jack said before putting it on his right wrist.
Jack pressed the gem, and it began to glow, back at the firehouse the suits color timer turned on and Miko noticed this.
"Uh, Raf is that supposed to happen?" Miko questioned getting everyone's attention as they see the suit's color timer glowing, the suit then glowed before it shot off like a rocket surprising everyone before the U-ton deactivated and Juna acted quickly and caught it.
Jack pointed his wrist up as the light struck him, as the light shined around his multiple pieces of armor started building up from his feet and kept going till it finally stopped on his chest as a replica of his Color Timer snapped into place and his helmets glowing blue eyes. When the light died down, it revealed that in Jack's place is an robotic suit version of Geed's Primitive form, complete with the same color pattern.
"Whoa." Sierra said awe.
"RE.M, you on?" Jack asked with his voice heavily modified so no one would recognize him.
"On and ready." RE.M said.
"Scan these things, see what's making them go crazy and what's making that laughing, though I may already have a suspicion." Jack said as he walked out and looked at the rampaging machines, the helmet then showed diagnostics of the machines in question.
"Scanning… Scanning complete, it appears that there was some form of a hidden virus that was installed some time back, it activated when all of them were hit with water, causing the machines to carry out what the virus was programed to do." RE.M said.
"Great, that means that they won't stop until their mission is complete." Jack said.
"Correct." RE.M said.
"Is there a way to remove the virus driving them?" Jack questioned.
"There are control disks underneath them that are keeping the virus in effect, remove the Joker pods and they'll shut down." RE.M said confirming Jack's suspicion.
"So, either Joker is here, or someone is using his tech, well standing around here doing nothing won't get us anywhere. Let's go!" Jack said as he charged, the machines noticed him and redirected all their attention on the newcomer.
Jack went in and dodged on a swipe from one before he slid underneath one and grabbed a purple disc and yanked it off and he went. When he came to a stop the machine seized to move before shutting down, Jack looked at the purple disc and noticed a strange symbol on it, whatever it was it was using Joker's tech that's for sure. Jack then made sure to store it away before resuming his task of removing the discs, during this time the Rescue Bots arrived and transformed only to see the suit from the firehouse moving around one of the machines and removing a lot of purple discs as it moved.
"Acro Smasher!" A synthesized male voice called out before the armor shifted and took the appearance of Geed's Acro Smasher form and zipped around at speed some would think only the Flash or even the man of steel could go, Jack then stood holding all of the disks as the mowers were deactivated. The Rescue bots transformed again to let their partners out, and they all gathered around him with Sierra in toe.
"Jack, is that you?" Dani asked.
"Sup guys, hey listen to what it does to my voice." Jack said as it distorted his voice making sound different. "Ohhh yeaaaah." He said before laughing a little.
"I thought the armor needed testing?" Graham said.
"Oh it did but considering these were the source of the problem I had little choice." Jack said as he showed them the purple discs.
"Are those smiley faces?" Kade said though Chief Burns has a stern expression.
"That's Joker's tech." Chief Burns said.
"Either the clown prince of crime is in town or someone's using his tech." Jack said.
"If that lunatic was in town wouldn't he have appeared monologuing on the TV or something by now?" Sierra said.
"That would fit his M.O." Chief Burns said before Graham noticed something.
"I have a feeling that these were bought from him." Graham said before taking one and flipping it to show a familiar symbol to the Burns family and the Rescue Bots.
"Is that..." Kade said.
"The symbol for the most wanted man in Griffin Rock." Graham said.
"Dr. Morocco." Chief Burns finished.
"Dr. Morocco and the Joker?" Dani said.
"Like I said if Joker was involved he'd show it by now, you know as a way to call Batman here." Sierra said.
"Agreed, this means that you were right Graham. Dr. Morocco must have purchased these discs from Joker some time back and had them installed as a failsafe plan incase whatever he's looking for wasn't here." Chief Burns said.
"So he came and got nothing that's good." Kade said.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get this suit off, it gets on pretty well, but the reverse switch isn't working, and I'm gonna see if I can store it in this bracelet." Jack said before he walked over to an alley and started messing with the bracelet to try and get it off.
"Well, at least we know that his suit works." Graham said.
"Yeah, at the expense of the suit not coming off." Kade added.
"Oh come off already!" Jack said as he hit the bracelet, which gave off the same light as before and he's then surrounded by the same beam and the suit simply retracted off of him and vanished. "Augh, finally!" Jack said before he went back over to everyone.
"Managed to get the suit off?" Sierra said.
"Yeah, the suit still needs some tweaking before it can be used again." Jack said.
"Hopefully, nobody saw you." Sierra said.
(1 hour later at the firehouse)
"Oh come on!" Jack said as someone got footage of him stopping the robots.
"So much for that." Sierra said.
"If the League hasn't heard of you before, they will now." June said making Jack sigh.
"Which would be the last thing I need." Jack said before he went off to the suit and went to help Raf with fixing the unlocking function. "Have you found out what went wrong?" Jack asked as he got to work.
"Well, from what I can see, we would need to simply make it so that all you would have to do is just lightly tap the bracelet so it can teleport itself back to where it was launched." Raf said after having a good look.
"A simple fix then, that'll take at least 30 minutes to an hour to have that resolved." Jack said before they went to work on the problem while both June and Sierra watch.
"I swear once they find a problem with their project, they always set out to fix it." June said.
"Yeah, real problem solvers they are." Sierra agreed, before Graham walked over.
"Hey guys, you need any help?" Graham asked.
"Sure, come here and we'll fill you in on the details." Jack said, and Graham did just that.
"Great more tinkering." Miko said.
"Hey, better they get it ironed out now than later." Sierra said.
"True." Miko said.
"I'm just glad the suit will be functional soon." June said.
"Why?" Miko said.
"Mostly for his reasons are sound, for he can't just rely on his gun, there will be times where he'll need his Ultra Abilities not for himself, but for those he cares for." June explained.
"Yeah just leave him to be able to develop more new moves." Miko said chuckling.
Meanwhile in Earth's atmosphere.
Inside the watchtower, recently rebuilt after the League had to destroy the last one during the Thanagarian invasion, we see the dark knight watching the video with Jack wearing his suit and watched as he skillfully removed all fourteen Joker Pods without issue. The Dark Knight placed his hand on his chin in thought before bringing up and Image of Ultraman Geed and compared the two side by side and noticed the similarities between them.
"What you watching bats?" The fastest man alive, aka the Flash asked as he zipped into the room.
"I've been receiving reports about giant monsters appearing in a small little town called Jasper Nevada, and it seems that something we all thought was gone has reappeared again." Batman said.
"What's that?" Flash questioned.
"An Ultraman." Batman said simply surprising Flash.
"An Ultra in America, I thought they only stuck to Japan." Flash said.
"Not necessarily Great and Powered were in America, Ribut was in Malaysia." Batman said.
"Okay, I get it they're not just in Japan. But I don't see why this new guy has your attention." Flash said.
"Because just now someone on the internet just posted a video of a robotic version of this Ultra saving people from some of Joker's control pods on Griffon Rock." Batman said before showing the two images.
"Okay… That's just weird, why would this knew Ultra build an robotic suit of himself in human size?" Flash questioned.
"According to my research Ultras can be on Earth in human size for about 5 minutes when giant 3 minutes, and when they reach the size Max did against his battle against that Baltan years ago, 1 minute." Batman said.
"So what, this new guy built this suit to conserve energy?" Flash said.
"Or made it to fight as a human." Batman said.
"So it might be a mixture of both?" Flash said.
"Exactly, I'm thinking about going to Jasper and seeing if I can't find anything about this 'Geed' and see if he's a possible candidate for being a member of the Justice League." Batman said.
"We'll need a bigger watch tower then." Flash said laughing before he sped off, while Batman stayed behind and started thinking on who could be the best choice to take with him to Jasper to gather info on Geed, Batman then activated the comm link.
"Batman to Superman, and J'onn. Please meet me at my lab." Batman said before he shut it off.
Batman went over to the elevator and entered it, it took about a few minutes, but he reached his lab and entered inside and took a seat before waiting for Superman and J'onn.
"What's going on? Joker on the loose again?" Superman asked as both he and J'onn walked in.
"No, he's still in Arkham. I called you both in as it seems we have a new Ultraman on Earth." Batman said.
"A new one? Where?" J'onn J'onzz aka the Martian Manhunter asked.
"In Jasper Nevada." Batman said.
"Jasper? The Entertainment Capital of The World?" Superman said.
"The very same." Batman said.
"What about the Ultra?" J'onn asked.
"I'm thinking of recruiting him into the league or the very least the Titans." Batman said.
"Okay, but what's the reason besides his appearance in Jasper to warrant our attention?" Superman questioned.
"He managed to stop a group of machines powers by Joker's pods in a second at Griffin Rock." Batman said surprising them.
"That is impressive." J'onn said.
"However, instead of using his real form, he used a robot suit version of himself." Batman said.
"Why use a suit?" Superman asked.
"I don't know, I'd like to figure that out." Batman said.
"Okay, so I'm guessing we're heading for Jasper Nevada to investigate this Ultraman and see if he would be willing to join our ranks?" Superman said.
"Yes or at least look into him and the activity there." Batman said.
"When do we leave?" Superman asked.
"By the very least this afternoon, or now if you haven't nothing else to do." Batman said.
"Well I just finished what I'm going to say during the speech, so I'm free." Superman said.
"I have already organized the list of heroes for the League." J'onn said.
"Then let's go." Batman said.
"Lead the way Bruce." Superman said they then left the lab and headed for the hanger, once they got on Javelin they then flew out of the new Watchtower and flew down to Earth.
Meanwhile back with Jack and the others, Jack with the help of both Raf and Graham had finally finished fixing the locking mechanism for the suit.
"Okay, that should fix the problem." Graham said.
"Good, then we'll test it at the location that Chief talked about." Jack said.
"Alright." Pega said.
"I'm glad to see that the suit is fully ready for field testing." June said as she walked in.
"Yeah, I'll have to ask Chief Burns when would it be a good idea to take the suit out for testing." Jack said.
"Sounds good, in the meantime you three should get something to eat." June said and just as she mentioned that moment all three stomachs growled.
"Stomach synchronizing." Pega said with a chuckle.
"Very funny Pega, anyways let's go get lunch." Jack said.
"Can't argue with that." Graham said.
"Last one to the kitchen is Kaiju meat!" Pega said running towards the kitchen.
"Hey wait up!" Raf called out before running after Pega making everyone else laugh good heartedly. June chuckled as she rolled her eyes before they fallowed after the two.
About thirty minutes later they can all be seen eating some foot long sandwich's with some drinks and chips, all the while having a good time.
"Shame you have to go tomorrow, Griffin Rock could use you." Cody said.
"This place already has its own family of heroes Cody. That includes you." Jack said.
"We appreciate that." Chief Burns said as Jack finished up his sandwich.
"Yeah well I have food in my belly, and I think we should start running those tests." Jack said.
"Good idea, better make sure everything is in working order." Raf said as he finished his lunch.
(15 minutes later)
"Okay Superman how's about knocking off all the moves before you make your lunch comeback up." Raf said as Jack was performing tricks in the sky.
"Relax Raf, I couldn't get air sick even if I wanted to, besides, I'm making sure that the suit is able to handle the stress of being in the air." Jack said as he flew around and started doing complex maneuvers.
"Well you're making Pega dizzy." Raf said chuckling as Pega's eyes were rolling all over the place.
"Hehe Alright, I'm coming in for a landing!" Jack said before he changed course and landed with a soft thud.
"I'd say everything is working." Raf said.
"Ugh..." Pega said before he fell on his butt, the helmet's face plate than retracted to show Jack's face.
"I agree with you there Raf, all the systems are working better than I thought it would." Jack said.
"Now what's this wrecking slicer you kept talking about?" Raf asked.
"Oh I channel my energy into the things on my arms making energy blades." Jack said.
"Is that why you had us make those things blades on the suit or have you been watching Guyver too much again?" Raf said.
"Okay, no this isn't from Guyver. These are meant to be Specium powered blades because I can't really use Spacium yet, so this was the next best thing." Jack said.
"Oh." Raf said.
"Well time to start packing our stuff." Jack said.
"Man time flew." Raf said as it felt like the weeks they spent here went by so fast.
"Time flies when you're having fun." Jack said.
"Yeah, it was great while it lasted." Raf said before Pega got back up.
"No argument here, I really did enjoy that field of flowers." Pega said.
"Yep and maybe we can catch Kei's upcoming conference about his next book when we get back." Jack said.
"Oh yeah, that's coming up soon isn't it?" Raf said as he loved that book as did everyone else in the family.
"Yeah I even got tickets for all of us." Jack said.
"Cool!" Both Pega and Raf exclaimed.
"Come on you three, we're packing up." June called out, with that Jack deactivated the armor and stored it inside the bracelet.
They got back to their hotel room and it took them at least an hour to pack everything up and make sure that they had everything, before they went to the docks where both the Burns family, the Greens, and the Rescue Bots meet up with them to say they're goodbyes.
"Till my next inspection Rescue Force Sigma 17." Optimus said before he saluted, with the Rescue Bots saluting him in return.
"Be sure to stop by some time. Don't be strangers." Cody said.
"Well this place has lots of tech, we just might every now and again." Jack said.
"Cool." Cody said.
"Take care of yourselves." June said.
"We will, and you also take care of yourselves." Chief Burns said.
"See you later Bumblebee." Blades said as the two hugged.
"Catch you later Blades." Bumblebee said.
"It's been an honor working with you." Heatwave said.
"Thanks, and some advice. Take good care of your team, you'll never know how long it'll last." Arcee said.
"I'll defend my team with my life." Heatwave said.
"That's what I wanted to hear, you all be safe and good luck on your mission." Arcee said.
"Thanks, and we will." Heatwave said.
"Goodbye, till we meet again." Jack said.
Before all three Autobots transformed allowing Jack to enter Bumblebee with Raf, Pega, and Miko, while Sierra got on Arcee and June got in Optimus, afterwards the members of Team Prime drove onto the ferry before the bridge closed up and the ferry let out a loud sound from the horn before it started leaving port, Jack then smiled as he saw a flash of blue come from the water.
"Thanks and see ya." Jack said to himself as the ferry headed for the mainland.
It took a good few hours till they reached the next port, after words they drove off of the ferry and went to a good spot to call for a Groundbridge back to Jasper Nevada. After they called it in and traveled back to base before leaving and heading to drop off Miko before heading to Sierra's and helped unload her stuff. As soon as they did a grizzly man with tan skin, with the bud of a body builder, and has dark brown short hair while wearing a mechanics suit walked out of the garage.
"Sierra, I see your back from your trip with the Darby's." The man said in a deep and rough voice.
"Yes, daddy." Sierra said before she ran over and hugged the big man who hugged back.
"I was worried when I heard Griffin Rock was invade by eight different Kaiju, I'm glad to see your alright." The man said before they separated.
"I did fallow the evacuation orders, so I was safe as was everyone else." Sierra said before she started tapping her index fingers. "Um… I wanted to tell you something." Sierra said getting the big man's attention.
"You finally asked that Darby kid out?" Her father asked shocking her.
"But how?" Sierra started.
"Sweety, I've been around the block long enough to know. Besides, your mother did the same when she introduced me to your grandfather." The man stated, this made Sierra chuckled sheepishly. "Plus I looked at your diary." Her father added making her blush.
"Dad!" Sierra yelled in embarrassment, causing said man to laugh whole heartedly before noticing Jack.
"Well if it isn't Jack!" The man said before walking over.
"It has been a while Mr. Duncan." Jack said before they clasped their hand and shook.
"Yes it has, I haven't seen you at least a few month back where you helped out with a customer's car and found what was wrong with it. Seriously, fixing a digital car was not may area." The know known Mr. Duncan said surprising Sierra as she didn't know about this.
"Y-you know my dad?" Sierra asked.
"Yeah, you see I was looking for something to do and was wondering through town till I saw this guy having trouble with a computer driven car, so I offered a hand." Jack said.
"I'm glad you did, I'm more of Dinosaur when it comes to cars, with digital one's forget it, it's like trying to convince a caveman to eat a salad." Mr. Duncan said after that the two shared a laugh at those words.
"The guy I had a crush on was already friends with my dad?" Sierra said to herself in shock.
"I didn't want to tell ya, for the sake of surprising you, hehe." Jack said.
"Haha! You still have that sense of humor kid!" Mr. Duncan said with a booming laugh.
"We'll be seeing you Jack." Sierra said as she knew that there was going to be a long talk with her boyfriend later about this.
"Later." Jack said before he hugged her and walked into Bumblebee and drove off with Optimus in toe to the Darby residents.
"Ratchet I require a bridge back to base." Optimus said before the Groundbridge appeared and he drove right into it before it closed.
"I better get to the Galaxy Market, who knows how Haruo's getting on without me." Jack said before both he and Bumblebee drove of to the Galaxy Market.
(15 minutes later)
"NOOOOOO!" Haruo shouted
"What's wrong with him?" Jack asked Laiha.
"He was trying to win the drawing for free tickets to Kei's upcoming conference." Laiha answered.
"Ah, seeing him like this means he didn't win the drawing and it's like the end of the world for him." Jack said.
"Yep." Laiha said.
"Well that's the third time he's done that." Jack said.
"I know, manager, work. It's busy today." Laiha said.
"Yeah, let's see if we can't shake him out of it." Jack said.
"No! I'm gonna sulk all day!" Haruo said loudly at them as he tried going into his truck but Laiha tried stopping him.
"Just calm down, you're a man aren't you?" Laiha said getting his attention.
"Yeah?" Haruo said
"I said are, you, a, man?" Laiha asked slowly.
"Yes, I'm a man!" Haruo exclaimed.
"Then don't sulk, see it as a way to get a better chance in the next drawing!" Laiha said.
"Jack." Leito said as he showed up with his wife and daughter.
"What're you doing here?" Jack asked
"We were in the neighborhood, this is my wife Lumina and my daughter Mayu, these are who I was telling you about, this is Jack and that's Laiha." Leito said
"Nice to meet you." Lumina said.
"Feel free to look around, I'll even throw in a discount." Jack said.
"Oh we couldn't..." Leito said.
"It won't hurt to look around." Lumina said, and with that said they looked around while Zero took over Leito's body.
"So, I heard that the 'King' see's you as an ally?" Zero said.
"Yep so does a Demaaga, Neronga, Eleking and a Hyper Zetton." Jack said.
"I swear you almost sound like Cosmos." Zero said.
"He's one of my favorite Ultras." Jack said.
"I bet I know who your favorite is." Zero said rubbing his nose.
"Not you Ultra ego." Jack said.
"Ouch, no mercy." Zero said.
"Hello." a man said as he approached.
"Hello." Haruo said not paying attention as he and Lumina whined about not winning the lotto to go to Kei's Lecture.
"It's Kei Fukuide!" Jack said getting everyone's attention, while Zero switched back with Leito who puts his glasses back on.
"Please tell me I'm dreaming?" Haruo said before he tried to pinched Jack who smacked his hand away.
"He's really here." Jack said.
"I see that two of you tried winning the lottery for my up coming speech about my next book." Kei said.
"Yes! But unfortunately Haruo Kume wasn't selected!" Haruo said.
"Well in that case... would you all like to come as my guests?" Kei asked.
"Is that okay? We don't even know you." Leito said.
"Each new meeting is a part of the universe's grand agenda." Kei said.
"Or as some would say fate." Jack said.
"Ah fellow philosopher?" Kei said.
"Hai, my family and I have read all of you books and found them very good." Jack said.
"Till we meet again." Kei said.
"Till the tides of destiny saw us to one another once more." Jack said.
"Indeed." Kai said.
Before he walked off and both Haruo and Lumina started going crazy over the fact that they have been invited by Kei to his conference. He stopped and glanced back at them making Jack and Laiha think before he walked off.
"Excuse me, how much for this book?"
Jack turned around and gasped as millionaire Bruce Wayne was holding one of Kei's books.
"U-Uh, well I believe it's, like what around $11-12, right Laiha?" Jack said.
"W-Well, it's $12 even." Laiha said as even she is having a hard time believing what's happening right now.
"Thank you, I'll take two." Bruce said before Jack noticed another famous face.
"Hey, you're Clark Kent, reporter from the Daily Planet." Jack said seeing who was with Bruce Wayne.
"Yeah, that's my name. How did you know?" Clark asked.
"Who doesn't remember the news article that cleared a man's name from a corrupted Cop who was then put on death row." Jack said.
"Oh, right. I keep forgetting that." Clark said sheepishly.
"Well thank you for the books..." Bruce said as he drawled on.
"Jack, Jack Darby this is my friend Laiha Toba." Jack said as the two shook hands.
"Yes, well thank you for your business, Jack." Bruce said before both he and Clark left.
"Man, crazy day." Jack said with a chuckle.
"Tell me about it, first the famous author Kei Fukuide shows up and offers seats to his convention, then the billion heir Bruce Wayne and the news author Clark Kent shows up buys two of Kei's books." Laiha said.
"Uh I think the manager is broken." Leito said as he poked Haruo and the man just fell over like a domino while still keeping the face of amazement on his face.
"Alright let's get him in a seat." Jack said before both him and Leito lifted Haruo up and moved him into a nearby chair.
"Oi, manager? Should we call an ambulance?" Leito asked as nothing he was doing was getting a reaction from Haruo.
"I got this." Jack said before pulling out a pack of smelling salts and cracked it before wafting in under Haruo's nose makes him snap out of it. Haruo suddenly blinked before jumping up, holding his nose.
"Ah, what's wrong with you?!" Haruo shouted.
"Well he's up now." Jack said chuckling.
"Wait, what happened?" Haruo said as he stopped holding his nose.
"You stopped responding to us when Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent stopped by to get one of Kei's books as he left before they showed up." Laiha said.
"Wait, what?!" Haruo exclaimed in shock, before this time fainting.
"Oi." Jack said rubbing his head.
"Let's just leave him the way he is for now." Laiha said as she didn't want to keep repeating this over and over.
"Good idea." Jack said.
Later in the nebula house.
"I wish I could write a book, I'd probably get more than what I get from these fake flowers and other stuff I make." Pega said.
"Oi, don't sell yourself short Pega." Jack called out as he was working on a new blueprint.
"Maybe touching Kei could make some of his story magic go to you." Raf said.
"I'm wanna write one! I'm gonna write a novel!" Pega said.
Jack noticed Laiha staring at Kei's picture and when he did he felt something flash in his mind before he shook it away and kept working while Pega was doing the laundry with Raf. Before June came in and noticed how Laiha was staring at a picture of Kei on the back of his book.
"Is something wrong dear?" June asked getting Laiha's attention.
"Nothing, just thinking." Laiha said
The next day we see June, Jack, Miko, Raf and Sierra with Haruo, Leito, Lumina and Mayu at the lecture
"Excuse me." Bruce said as he walked in with Clark and some blonde man.
"Small world." Jack said.
"Hello again." Bruce said.
"I'm going to get pictures of the lecture, know where I could get a good place to get photos?" Clark asked.
"I'd say the top level." Jack said.
"Thank you." Clark said as he, Bruce and his friend walked away.
"Hey Mr. Wayne, rumor has it you have bat problems, if you ever need an exterminator, I know a guy." Jack said with a wink, putting emphasis on the word Bat as Bruce followed Clark.
While both Bruce and Clark went to the upper balcony they both remembered what Jack said.
"Bruce do you think he?" Clark trailed off.
"The way he emphasized the word 'bat', I'd say so." Bruce said as he started thinking, meanwhile Jack looked over hearing Haruo say the catchphrase of Zora the antagonist of Kei's book series.
"Try again in 20,000 years!" Haruo said, those words seem to struck struck a chord before Jacks eyes widened.
"Hey, Leito." Jack called and Leito came over.
"Yes?" Leito said.
"I need to speak with Zero for a moment." Jack said and just like that Zero took over.
"What's up kid?" Zero said.
"Do you happen to have a catchphrase, try again in 20,000 years?" Jack questioned.
"Yeah, that's what I was just thinking about." Zero said.
"And your team Ultimate Force Zero has a fiery pirate and a hero of mirrors?" Jack asked.
"Glenfire and Mirror Knight." Zero said.
Just then Kei arrived with others.
"Something about him stirs something from my past." Jack said whispering to Zero, who nods in agreement at this fact.
After saying his greetings to the, Kei looked at Miko and seemed to freeze. Miko felt like she was being stared at and turned to look at who it was, only to see Kei who seems to be giving comforting look and at the same time she felt like she knew him from somewhere before, but she just couldn't put her finger on it. Eventually, Kei brook eye contact and went into the auditorium, though both Jack and Zero noticed this.
"Did you see that?" Zero said.
"Yeah, it was as if he knows her. But that's impossible, right?" Jack said.
Then they noticed Pega try to touch him but when he looked up he saw Kei looking down at him and smirked, the way he smirked at him made Pega feel very scared for his life and disappeared before reappearing behind a pillar, both Jack and Zero ran over to see if he's alright while Kei kept on walking.
"Pega, are you alright?" Jack asked.
"Something about him scares me, I'm going home!" Pega said as he went into the dark zone and left.
"That writer's not human." Zero said.
"Yeah, Pega rarely gets scared. For him to be to the point that he went home isn't good, then there's the fact that he some how seems to know Miko of all people." Jack said.
"We better keep an eye on him while we're here." Zero said, Jack nodded before a sound went off.
"It's starting." Jack said before they both went inside and took their seats.
During the whole lecture about his book, Kei was speaking about certain events that's seems very familiar to him, and it hits Zero that these stories about the battles between both him and Belial. Though, the strangest thing is, is that everything that Kei said is basically how all those events took place, no modification what's so ever about both him and Belial.
"This guy, he's retelling all my encounters with Belial perfectly." Zero said inside Leito's mind.
"He is?" Leito asked.
"Yes, but I figured he'd try making Belial seem like the hero." Zero said.
"Really?" Leito asked before getting shushed by his wife and daughter.
"Now, among the three books, who would be considered the breakout character?" Kei said.
"The Shinning Knight, Zora!" Haruo exclaimed in excitement, causing many to laugh at his enthusiasm, while those that knew him could only shake their heads at this.
"Now I am happy to speak about my upcoming newest book, Cosmo Chronicle Heir to the light. I will be introducing a few new characters one of which is Equinox heir to the dark king Agam." Kei said.
"Dark king Agam, that must be Dad." Jack muttered.
"Who will be mentored by the Shinning Knight, Zora himself." Kei added getting many different reactions.
"Zora? He must mean me." Zero said.
"With his own team of knights, the shadow brothers Gepa and Rad and the General of darkness Kimo and swordswoman Shiva." Kei said getting many looks.
"Shadow brothers?" Raf said.
"Swordswoman Shiva?" Laiha said.
"General of Darkness Kimo?" Miko said.
"Now I want to ask one of you to come up to the stage, I would like to model a character after you." Kei said.
Haruo shot up very excited.
"You sir." Kei said looking at Leito.
"M-me?" Leito said pointing at himself.
"If you would, please." Kei said.
"Leito, I'm barrowing your body." Zero said and quickly took over before removing his glasses as he got up walked to the stage.
"You can do it honey!" Lumina said as everyone started clapping, though up in the balcony bot Bruce and Clark noticed a lot of things strange about Kei's books.
"Something is not right." The blonde man said beside them.
"You can say that again J'onn." Clark said.
"Do you sense anything from them J'onn?" Bruce questioned.
"The one known as Kei, seems to be some kind of alien. While this other man walking up to the stage seems to have two minds instead of one." J'onn answered.
"I've got a feeling something bad is about to happen." Clark said.
"Agreed, better be prepared for the worse." J'onn said as Leito had arrived up at the stage.
"Thank you for coming. What is your name?" Kei asked.
"It's Leito." Zero answered while wiping his right thumb on his chin.
"Well then, Leito, let's start with a handshake." Kei said as he put his hand out, Zero looked at the outreached hand and decided to do just that and do a handshake.
"This is how I always create. With the person in front of me… how their hands feels, their smell, how they breath. What character can be inspired by these things? Excuse me." Kei said before he leaned into Zero's ear. "We finally meet, Ultraman Zero. Don't react. As you were." Kei said.
"What are you?!" Zero questioned.
"Certain things are going to happen now. You mustn't make a move. Do as I say, understand?" Kei said as he pulled away. "I see. You have a wife, and a daughter? Your usually a very kind father. So let's say this new character is normal father. What could inspire him to become a shinning knight? Do you have any ideas, sir?" Kei said as if talking about the weather which Bruce noticed.
"He's up to something." Bruce said.
"I guess being asked out of the blue would be awkward, right? Let's do this. I will play the role of your enemy. And I threaten you like this: Don't move. Move and all the humans in this building will be blown away. Including your wife and child. They'll be burnt until not even cinders are left." Kei said as his voice turned dark and very serious, before he held his head as if in pain.
"Kei, you are playing a dangerous game right now. I thought I made it clear to 'not' engage a battle with Zero. It seems you must be forgetting something very importing that's sitting in that very room, to the both of us." Kei heard Belial say through their psychic link while causing him a major headache.
"What's happening to him?" Jack said.
"I don't know, but something isn't right." Laiha said while with the three hidden heroes.
"J'onn?" Bruce questioned.
"There's a powerful presents causing great pain to Kei. It seems whatever he planned to do didn't agree with whoever is causing him great pain." J'onn said as he used his psychic abilities to see what was happening.
Kei shuddered as he breathed, Belial's attack finally ending before he regained his composure.
"Sorry, when I'm acting I tend to get carried away." Kei said normally as if what he did didn't happen at all.
"What would happen to you?" Zero asked.
"Listen to that level of acting!" Kei said with a chuckle. "Naturally, I'd be fine." Kei said.
"What are you after?!" Zero questioned trying to get as much info as he could.
"I... I am after the soul of Zora that dwells within this body." Kei said pointing at Leito's chest. "That soul… would have been destroyed within this body. However, my master has made it clear for him deal with you, not me." Kei finished, Zero got an idea of who he was talking about now but knew that now isn't the time to mention who it is.
"So the great Agam wants another round?" Zero asked.
"In a sense, he did say he would wish to settle things between them. So I have no choice but to fallow his order or face his rath." Kei said, Jack picked up on this.
"Oh no." Jack said.
"What is it?" Laiha asked.
"He's my dad's servant." Jack whispered shocking Laiha.
"Well that should be all." Kei said and patted Zero on the shoulder before said Ultra nodded back and walked back to Leito's seat and gave said man back control.
"Phew, I was worried for a moment." Clark said.
"I'm glad to have all of you here, and I hope you keep an eye for my next novel." Kei said.
just like that everyone started leaving the room. Kei gave Miko one last look before walking away, while Leito led his family out as the Darby's, Laiha, Miko stayed behind, while Bruce, Clark, and J'onn left as well.
"Was he talking about us?" Laiha asked.
"Yes, the shadow brothers sounds like Raf and Pega, you're the swordswoman, but why call Miko the general of darkness?" Jack said.
"Well, he was eyeballing me very weirdly. Maybe he knows something I don't?" Miko said.
"It was like he knew you, more than he did us." Jack said.
"I'm more surprised that he serves Belial, and he knows about Zero being bonded with Leito." June said.
"He probably knows about all of us. Zero was right, he's not human." Jack said.
"Then what is he?" Raf said.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling we'll find out real soon." Jack said.
"I don't know about you all but I'm gonna head home before something happens." Miko said.
"No argument there, we'll head home as well. I for one want to finish that project I promised I'd make." Jack said getting Miko's attention.
"You're working on it?" Miko said.
"Yep." Jack said.
"Awesome." Miko said as she left not noticing the ice water she was having had already melted.
Meanwhile Kei was bowing before Belial who seems to be very upset about what his servant was about to do.
"You nearly disobeyed me, Kei." Belial said with a lot of restraint.
"I know master, I was just trying-" Kei was saying
"Trying to end Zero's life, which is not so easy because if it was, I'd have done so the first time. However we have a more trying concern now, it seems that Miko girl has come down with a little star." Belial said, this made Kei's eyes widen before looking up to Belial.
"But how? She shouldn't be able to." Kei said.
"But she has, and if aliens find out what she can do, it will be a disaster." Belial said, this made Kei frown.
"Then its a good thing I finished the two capsules for her then." Kei said.
"Good because I have a feeling that this Maga Orochi isn't the one doing these attacks." Belial said.
"I hope it isn't that Seijin Syndicate that has been rumored to be planning on invading the Earth." Kei said.
"Whoever it is, I've received word that they're in league with one of this world's villains." Belial said.
"Then if Miko and her little star are found and discover what she can do-" Kei trailed off.
"Someone will turn her into a weapon." Belial finished.
"I know… But I must ask, who is villain they've aligned themselves with?" Kei asked.
"And what is his intent." Belial said scratching his chin.
Meanwhile at an unknown location several figures can be seen looking at an holographic image of Miko.
"Is this the target?" A red eyed silhouette asked.
"Yes it is, it seems she doesn't know about her heritage yet." A two blue eyed silhouette said.
We see a clawed hand dragging a finger on a chair .
"The buyer wanted a little star but with this we'll really be getting more money, then we can finally get our alliance off the ground." The silhouette said.
"I concur, this is a rare opportunity that we simply can't pass up." Another silhouette said.
We see a face come out that looked something like a sad face you see on a mask but black and white.
"Are we in agreement?" The alien asked everyone present.
"Yes." Everyone said.
"Then let's get to work."
