Chapter 13: Sick mind, Out of his head. And The Sword of Oath.
It's currently 8:38 AM, Jack and the others are currently at the Autobots base hanging out with their guardians and the newly arrived Autobots as Ratchet was doing some form of experiment with some variable frequency wavelengths.
"He really did that?" Jack questioned while laughing a bit. Elita-1.
"Oh yeah, poor bot was a stuttering mess when he asked me out." Elita-1 said with a slight chuckle.
"Guess there's more to Optimus than he shows." Pega said.
"You should've seen him when I took him dancing." Elita-1 said.
"Let me guess, he couldn't dance to save his own life." Sierra said as she's seen that kind of thing happen a lot with newly form couples.
"Can't dance with two left feet. I've never laughed that hard in my life." Elita-1 said.
"Any other embarrassing details you want to let us know?" Miko asked.
"Oh do I ever." Elita-1 said.
"Optimus, you're not going to believe this!" Ratchet called out getting everyone's attention.
"Sorry Miko, but looks like I'll have to put that on hold for now." Elita-1 said making Miko whine.
"I've just pinpointed the location of the Decepticon Warship." Ratchet called out surprising everyone present.
"How did you penetrate their cloaking technology?" Optimus questioned.
"I didn't, I was experimenting with variable frequency wavelengths when I stumbled upon it. Even so, their ship must be experiencing some kind of electromagnetic breach." Ratchet explained.
"Still a smart bot, I see." Red Alert said.
Ratchet coughed into his hand collecting himself.
"With Megatron deceased and the element of surprise." Arcee started before punching her right fist into her left hand.
"We could cause some serious damage." Bulkhead finished for her.
"With everything we got, and Miko being able to change into fusions, with careful planning we can take them all out and end this war." Jack said.
"Speaking of powers, are our Super suits done yet?" Miko asked.
"They're not- ugh, Miko it's taking longer than usual as I have to take in account yours, Raf's and Pega's biologies, powers and everything. Though it wouldn't be taking so long if you would've given me ideas for designs." Jack said before the computer have off a beeping sound before pulling up another ship on the same frequency.
"Also on the same frequency, an Autobot emergency beacon." Ratchet reported.
"The Decepticons can wait, there may be Autobots in destress. Ratchet bring your medical kit." Optimus said.
"Need some muscle to come along?" Springer asked.
"For the moment, this can be considered a recon mission. Ratchet and I will let you know if we find anything or if we'll need some heavy lifting." Optimus said.
"Roger." Springer said.
"Ratchet, bridge us out." Optimus ordered before the Spacebridge opened up and they both walked through it.
"I was itching for a chance to try out my new wheels." Springer said.
"Easy big guy, you'll get your chance." Jack said.
"Wasp want chance too." Wasp said.
"Alright you three since you all want your own suits to help me how's about actually helping me make them?" Jack said to Raf, Miko and Pega.
"I wanna be a gladiator!" Pega said.
"Nope." Jack said.
"Awww." Pega whined.
"Sorry guys, but the armors have to be able to fit while not looking so fancy that it breaks down in a middle of a battle." Jack said.
"How hard can it be?" Springer said.
"You try figuring out a way to create armor that can help a Strum Seijin's abilities as well as making some that can work with dark zone energy. And I still have to figure out a style on how to make it look." Jack said
"Wasp thinks it sounds very hard." Wasp said.
"I have to factor in their height, weight, everything. I have to make it dense enough to be impenetrable as only I'm the one who's bulletproof and strong enough to where it won't get shattered after a few hits." Jack said.
"You know as a he is fellow scientist if you need aid, Ratchet can help." Red Alert said.
"Oh trust me I will, but that's going to be when he and I go to Under Town to get you all some supplies." Jack said.
"So what do you guys wanna do?" Bumblebee asked.
"I believe you had embarrassing stories about Optimus to tell?" Miko said to Elita-1.
"Ah yes, I believe I did." Elita-1 said.
Meanwhile Optimus and Ratchet were in a desert, they noticed an old very rusty and beaten up Autobot transport ship.
"A crashlanding, buried here for centuries." Optimus said.
Ratchet used his blowtorch to cut open a hole in the ship before they entered.
"If they traveled in stasis mode there may be survivors." Ratchet said as both he and Optimus pulled out their flashlights before the ship shook a bit.
Optimus pried open a door where the two the two entered it they noticed multiple bodies of Autobot strung around with rust covering them as their face plates showed that they didn't go peacefully, Ratchet then scanned the nearest one and he didn't like the results.
"Optimus, these Autobots did not perish in the crash. They are displaying the effects… of a virus." Ratchet reported, and this made Optimus narrow his optics.
"This is a plague ship." Optimus stated as he tried to take another step Ratchet stopped him.
"Don't touch anything! The virus could still be active." Ratchet said.
Before the ship shook again and threw them off their peds, Optimus then looked up only to see another dead Autobot hanging from some lose cables as it shook a bit before Optimus is hit by a couple of droplets corrupted Energon into his optics, Optimus then covered his face as he started shaking back and forth while grunting in pain.
"No!" Ratchet exclaimed softly in horror before making a call. "Ratchet to base! Do you read me?!" Ratchet called out into the comm link.
"Yes?" Wasp said over the comm
"Emergency spacebridge, now!" Ratchet said before trying to move Optimus on his own.
"Ratchet what happened?" Arcee questioned.
"I need help, Optimus is down! I repeat, Optimus is down!" Ratchet reported.
"On our way Ratchet!" Springer said.
The Autobots rushed in and helped him through before putting him down on a berth for Ratchet and Red Alert to look him over.
"Cybonic plague." Ratchet reported after thoroughly scanning Optimus as he groaned.
"It's only contagious if contact is made with the infected Energon." Red Alert added.
"What was a plague doing in an Autobot space ship?" Miko asked.
"Its passengers were infected, the virus wiped out millions during the great war." Arcee replied.
"Cybonic Plague was engineered in the Decepticons biological warfare program… by Megatron himself." Ratchet added.
"There is a cure, right?" Sierra asked before Optimus groaned getting their attention.
"No… cure…" Optimus answered painfully, this shocked the small group that didn't know that.
"Optimus please, save your strength." Ratchet pleaded.
"Would Megatron make a virus without a cure, I mean what if he got it by accident?" June questioned.
"It's not like we can ask Megatron, June. He's pushing up lug nuts." Bulkhead said.
"But… we might be able to access the Decepticon data base, for the moment we still have a fix on their warships location." Ratchet added.
"Arcee, Bumblebee you two go." Jack said.
"Whoa, since when does the kid give orders?" Springer asked.
"Look we'll explain later, right now we need that cure." Arcee said before walking over to the controls and activated the spacebridge.
"Arcee… quickly." Ratchet said making her nod before both she and Bumblebee ran through the vortex before it closed.
"I wasn't complaining kid, it seems to suit you." Springer said.
"Please, I'm, I'm no leader." Jack said rubbing the back of his head.
"Could've fooled me." Springer said.
(With Arcee and Bee)
As soon as they exited the spacebridge they activated their weapons as it closed behind them.
"Let's start in the lab." Arcee said.
A little while later after managing to dodge all the Decepticon patrols on the ship, they made it to the lab and watched and Knockout left said lab before they stealthily made it inside and Arcee started looking through the data base.
"I'm in the network." Arcee reported.
Back at the base Optimus groans as Ratchet and Red Alert monitor him.
"Ratchet... were you?" He asked.
"Infected? No." Ratchet said.
"If it's here I don't see it." Arcee reported.
"Are you certain Arcee?" Ratchet questioned.
Back with Arcee, she's frustrated with finding nothing regarding to the Cybonic Plague.
"I've searched every file, nothing." Arcee replied.
"Well check again! Clearly you missed something!" Ratchet said.
"I scanned the entire data base!" Arcee said while Bumblebee noticed something in the room next door.
"Oh no…" Bumblebee whispered.
"Did you use redundant quantum algorithm?" Ratchet questioned further.
"Don't tell me how to research, you think you're the only one that cares for Optimus?" Arcee said.
"Arcee you really gotta see this." Bumblebee said.
"What is it?" Arcee asked before walk over to Bumblebee.
"What is it? What's going on?" Ratchet questioned as Arcee gasped after looking inside and the door opened to reveal Megatron hooked up in life support.
"It's Megatron…" Arcee started.
Back at base they waited for Arcee to finish her statement.
"He's alive." She finished shocking everyone present.
"That's not possible." Ratchet said.
Back at the warships medical room both Arcee and Bumblebee enter the room with blasters drawn.
"Well I'm starting right at him. Good news is Megatron's not exactly staring back." Arcee said.
Back at the base Optimus overheard this.
"Megatron?" Optimus said shocked to know his enemy was still alive.
"He's critical, hooked up to life support." Arcee reported.
Back inside the warship Arcee has her blaster pointed at Megatron.
"Time to finish this once and for all." Arcee said charging up her blaster.
"Wait, don't!" Ratchet and Jack said at the same time.
"One good reason you two, quickly!" Arcee said.
"Arcee, Megatron may be Optimus's only chance at survival." Jack said making her power down her weapon to listen in closely.
"What are you talking about?" Arcee questioned.
"Does he exhibit brain wave activity?" Ratchet questioned Arcee looked over to see that he does and that he's exhibiting a very heavy amount of it.
"Spiking hard, his sick mind is still at work." She said with distain in her voice
"Perfect!" Jack and Ratchet said.
"If a cure does exist, Megatron will be the only one to know it." Jack said.
"You must enter his brain and find it." Ratchet said.
"Enter Megatron's brain? Ratchet, Jack are you both out of your fragging minds?" Arcee questioned.
"The lab should have the equipment needed to make a cortical psychic patch." Jack said.
"No way! Have you even performed the procedure Ratchet?!" Arcee questioned.
"No… But I have thoroughly studied the theoretical literature… Evented by Decepticons, outlawed by Autobots." Ratchet said.
"Whoa, can't we just haul Megatron through the spacebridge, buy some time to figure this out?" Arcee said
"Time is one thing Optimus does not have! So one of you must try this! I will not allow Optimus to pass knowing that Megatron will outlive him!" Ratchet exclaimed.
"Ratchet I would lay down my life for Optimus, any time anywhere, but a mind body split-" Arcee said.
"I'll do it." Bumblebee said.
"You will?" Arcee questioned in surprise.
"You sure Bumblebee?" Raf asked.
"Bee's the best scout there is." Bulkhead said.
Meanwhile Starscream was dealing with Vehicons.
"Why has the electromagnetic shielding not been repaired?!" Starscream said
"The crews are working as good as they can Commander Starscream." A Vehicon said before he got slapped.
"We are leaking a trial, and it is lord to you!" Starscream said.
"Not since she returned, but we will try to accelerate our efforts." The Vehicon said before both he and the rest of the Vehicons walked away as Starscream growled.
"Curse that Flamewar." Starscream said.
"Should have considered she'd learn of Lord Megatron's condition." Knockout said as he walked in.
"She's never even cared about leading the Decepticons, but with her being Megatron's Sparkmate they see her as the leader more than me. Oh well, I'll figure out something. How's our patient today?" Starscream asked.
"Same old." Knockout replied.
"An inglorious fate, that he should remain in this… vegetative state." Starscream said.
"On the contrary, Megatron's body may be scrap metal but his mind I still percolating." Knockout added.
"Keep that to yourself, that blasted Soundwaves hears everything." Starscream whispered harshly.
"The eyes and ears of the Decepticons." Knockout whispered back.
"Well even with Flamewar here in Megatron's place, I'll find a way to get rid of her one way or the other. Besides that, with Megatron still in limbo so does the Decepticons cause. I believe that it's time the Decepticons deserve a strong and alert leader, not some Femme who has no interest in said cause." Starscream said.
"One that would require a loyal second in command?" Knockout hinted making Starscream smirk as he caught on to what he's getting at.
"A candidate would have to earn that post, by making a strong case to said eyes and ears with a certain Femme present." Starscream said.
"A case of showing mercy, Lord Starscream?" Knockout added.
"You scratch my back, I scratch yours." Starscream finished.
Meanwhile back in the lab Arcee was putting one end of the cortical psychic patch into the birth Megatron was laying on, before she dragged the rest of it inside of a small space out of eyesight to Bumblebee who gave a thumbs up indicating he's ready.
"Ratchet we're ready." Arcee said.
"Begin Cortical Psychic Patch." Ratchet said before Arcee plugged the other end into the back of Bumblebee's helm.
Bumblebee's optics widened before he slumped feeling his mind being pulled somewhere else. Meanwhile Ratchet was able to make a connection to Bumblebee's helm for them to see what he sees, currently they see what appears to be a Cybertronian bridge with a lake of molten lava down below.
"Communications Downlink activated, this will allow us to see and hear everything Bumblebee does while within Megatron's subconscious mind." Ratchet explained.
"Whoa, where's that?" Sierra asked.
"Looks like Kaon the Decepticon capital." Bumblebee answered sourly.
"Huh Kaon, I expected hell or more ruin." Jack said.
"Wait, so that's what the Decepticon capital looks like?" June questioned.
"Afraid so." Elita-1 answered.
"Ratch, Optimus' vitals." Bulkhead said.
"I know… Quickly Bumblebee, I know you're in unknown territory, but you must figure out where information might be filed in Megatron's mind." Ratchet said.
Bumblebee walked up some stairs and saw Optimus just standing there as if in a trans.
"Optimus?!" Bumblebee said in shock before running up to him.
"Bumblebee that is not Optimus, it's just a figment of Megatron's mind, it cannot see nor hear you." Ratchet said.
Arcee tapped her fingers on the metal beside her before ducking as the doors opened, a femme bot that was black with flames patterns painted on her body walked in.
"Oh scrap." Arcee whispered to herself as she watched the femme bot walk up to Megatron.
"To think, Starscream would try to take over even though he isn't aware of one simple fact about you." The femme bot said. "You always have a backup plan my dark lord, it's a good thing he isn't aware of Dragotron… yet that is." The femme bot said making Arcee's optics widen at what she's hearing as she transmitted what she was talking about.
"Ratchet, please tell me you heard that?" Arcee whispered as quietly as possible.
Back with the other's their digesting what they've heard from Arcee's comm link.
"Dragotron?" Ratchet said.
"Who is that?" Jack asked.
"Flamewar, the greatest female gladiator of Cybertron and Megatron's Sparkmate, and for a time we were sisters." Elita-1 said.
"Sisters?!" Pega asked.
"Our past is similar to Optimus and Megatron's." Elita-1 finished.
Back on the ship the now named Flamewar placed her left servo on Megatron's left arm.
"To think he calls himself your heir when you already have one beloved." Flamewar said. "No matter, I have already sent word of what's become of you to him, though knowing him as we do. He'll do everything in his power to live up to your legacy, and I have no doubt he'll even put Starscream in his place… permanently." Flamewar said with a vicious smirk on her face plate.
Back with the other's.
"Who is this Dragotron?" Raf asked.
"Don't know, never heard of him before." Ratchet said.
Back inside Megatron's head.
"Optimus Prime." Megatron said from speaking from a vantage point. "Your Autobot armies are defeated, bow before your new master." He finished with a frightening grin.
"Never Megatron. One shall stand, One shall fall." The fake Optimus said as he turned around to face Megatron while activating his built in blade.
"So be it." Megatron said before he jumped down and charged as did the fake Optimus, the two slashed with their weapons but as Megatron passed the fake Optimus it turned into green mist
"What?" Bumblebee said.
"That never happened." Bulkhead said.
"It's not a memory, we're seeing Kaon as Megatron has recreated it… in his darkest dreams." Ratchet said.
"So wait… he dreams of being able to finish the fight between them?" Sierra questioned.
"They have a very… long history, so it would stand to reason that this is currently what Megatron wants most… the defeat of Optimus, the last of the Prime's." Ratchet said making Elita-1 flinch knowing something they don't.
Bumblebee looked at the stone pillar as some of it stood up changing into another Optimus.
"Megatron, you're treachery ends here." The fake Optimus said before deploying his sword, only for Megatron to point his fusion cannon at the fake.
Bumblebee ran out intending in stopping the blast only for him to be slow as the blast turned that Optimus into mist, he turned to see this before he heard the familiar heavy foot step and turned to see Megatron standing before him.
"The Autobot scout." Megatron spat as he then started cracking his shoulders. "The punishment for trespassing in my domain… is your destruction!" Megatron said before he slashed at Bumblebee with his sword only for it to pass right through him like he wasn't there.
"Uh… what?" Bumblebee said very confused on what just happened here as is Megatron.
"How can this be?!" Megatron exclaimed before he started going for more slashes at the scout only for each swing to have the same result.
Meanwhile the other's watched the spectacle.
"Megatron can't touch be?" Pega asked.
"Because he isn't a creation of Megatron's mind, Bumblebee is immune to his physical attack." Ratchet explained.
"Oh no, I just realized something. What happens when there's a fake Bumblebee present?" Jack questioned making Ratchet's optic widen as he caught on as well.
"Scrap!" Ratchet said.
Back with Bumblebee, he's currently standing still as Megatron walked around inspecting him.
"You're not wearing phase displacement armor, your optics track my movements so you're not a hologram, and I do not believe in spirits. So tell me scout, what are you?!" Megatron questioned as he finally stopped beside him.
"Megatron."
Another Optimus appeared, this time with another Bulkhead and another Bumblebee.
"Uh oh, special guest stars." Miko said.
"This is not good," Ratchet said.
"Uh, I'm just going to go... over there." Bumblebee said as he went over to the doubles "Hello." He said waving at himself before Megatron yelled in anger and frustration and started firing his fusion cannon each shot destroyed all of the fakes while Bumblebee stood there still unphased.
"You are real, they were not!" Megatron said before he took a few step and stopped as he then started to chuckle to himself. "Hehe… A Cortical Psychic Patch, how unexpected." Megatron said as he figured out what was going on.
Back with the group.
"We have stirred Megatron from his oblivion, he's becoming self-aware." Ratchet said.
"This is the last thing we need right now." Jack muttered.
"If this is my subconscious… what are you doing inside my head?!" Megatron exclaimed at Bumblebee.
"Come on Bee what're you doing in there?" Arcee said keeping her voice down as to not alert Flamewar as she rubs the chest of Megatron, before Arcee heard the door opening and turned to see Starscream followed by both Knockout and Soundwave.
"Ah, Flamewar you're here, good then we'll be able to provide Knockout's expert medical opinion for both you and Soundwave… for the historical record." Starscream said getting her attention.
"Knockout's medical opinion? That's cute Starscream, but don't forget that he isn't the only one with such… opinion here." Flamewar said making Starscream look at her in surprise.
"Oh? And who taught you such things?" Starscream questioned.
"Why my old friend Shockwave of course, so you better hope Knockout is correct in his… opinion." Flamewar stated.
"Scrap, she's right. Shockwave outranked me in the medical field, so I have no doubt she can tell what's true and what's false." Knockout said.
"No matter, let's hear what you have to say." Starscream said.
"Brainwave activity continues to show that his mind is at work." Flamewar said.
"Come again?" Knockout questioned before having a closer look. "Strange, it appears there's more activity than there was before, Megatron may be becoming self-aware of what's happened to him." Knockout stated before continuing. "However, even though he's now becoming self-aware. Megatron could still be stuck in this deathless slumber forever." Knockout added.
"Soundwave, Flamewar, it's time to face the reality, Megatron is lost to us." Starscream said.
"The only honorable option would be to show him mercy." Knockout added.
"A simple throw of the switch." Starscream said.
"Quick, painless, compassionate." Knockout finished.
"Ratchet, Are you hearing this?!" Arcee whispered harshly into the comm link.
"If Megatron perishes Bumblebee's mind will remain separated from his body… forever." Ratchet said
"We'll lose Optimus and Bumblebee?!" Pega said.
"Well summarized you two, however the decision rests solely on mine alone, not either of yours. Even though you say he can't be believed to ever be awake again, I shall review this along with Soundwave. During this time Laserbeak will go activate some old friends of ours to make sure Megatron is protected from those who wish for his… death. Do I make myself clear?" Flamewar said.
"The only way you could have entered my mind is via cortical psychic patch, but the question remains. What happened to me?!" Megatron said but as he looked at Bumblebee's optics it suddenly hit him, and he had a flash back of what happened. "The Spacebridge explosion. And yet if… if you're in my head, I am NOT one with the Allspark. So tell me scout, do I still function?" Megatron demanded, Bumblebee tried to think of something.
"Bumblebee we're running out of time!" Ratchet exclaimed and it was then Bumblebee had no choice but tell him why he's here.
"I'm here to look for a cure for the Cybonic Plague." Bumblebee explained.
"Cybonic plague? Someone besides myself is… is unwell?" Megatron questioned, Bumblebee simply nodded, this caused Megatron to think who it could be for the scout to be in his head before it came to him. "Optimus… Hehe… Hehahaha! Such irony! After ages of endless battle, the mighty Optimus Prime is felled by a simple virus from a distant past!" Megatron laughed making Bumblebee narrow his optics. "And what makes you think that I would save the life of my oldest enemy?!" Megatron questioned further.
"Megatron your-" Another fake Optimus said before getting blasted mid-sentence as Megatron didn't look away from Bumblebee, though this does give Bumblebee an idea to get Megatron to agree into giving them the cure.
"Because you wouldn't get what you want most." Bumblebee said.
"Oh? And just what is it I want most scout?" Megatron questioned.
"To slay Optimus Prime by your own hand!" Bumblebee said getting a slight chuckle from Megatron.
"Did you not see? I do slay Optimus by my own hand, at will, whenever I desire!" Megatron said.
"But not the 'real' Optimus, if you allow the Cybonic Plague kill off the real one. You will never get the chance to do it yourself." Bumblebee rebuked and it seems he now has Megatron's full attention.
"Bee's playing on Megatron's want to kill Optimus against him." Raf said.
"Brilliant! Megatron won't resist that." Jack said.
"That's a bit twisted honestly." Sierra said.
"I agree, but Bee's the only one who seems to have Megatron's full attention now." June added.
"Soundwave, do you agree with Flamewar?" Starscream asked Soundwave simply nodded yes as he agrees with her. "But-" Starscream started.
"Look here you little- what?" Flamewar said as Soundwave put a hand on her shoulder.
The silent con raised his other hand and pointed at something with his finger, to the Cortical Psychic Patch cord that's seems to be connected to Megatron's birth.
"What in the Pit?" Flamewar said before going around the birth to see it connected to the birth itself. "A Cortical Psychic Patch cord?" Flamewar said as she recognized it anywhere.
"Scrap!" Arcee said as she looked at Bumblebee who's still knock out.
"After our deep history together… To not watch the Spark ebb from Optimus's optics with my very own." Megatron said.
"It would be a tragedy in itself now wouldn't it?" Bumblebee said this made Megatron smirk seeing how it is.
"Well played scout." Megatron said before he opened his left servo and a holographic cube with a bunch of Cybertronian symbols and equations appeared. "The chemical formula for the cure you seek, not that I expect you to know how to read it." Megatron said and just as Bumblebee made to grab it Megatron closed his servo causing the formula to disappear as well. "Na uh, not yet." Megatron said.
"What?" Bumblebee said.
"And how am I to accomplish terminating Optimus as you propose while I'm stuck here in a perpetual daydream? Once you release me from this prison, you will have the cure." Megatron said.
While Starscream held some of the cord as he started fallowing it to where it leads.
"Come on, come on!" Arcee whispered.
"You must guarantee my recovery… Or Optimus fades to gunmetal grey, the real Optimus." Megatron said.
Ratchet rewinded the conversation to show the information for the cure.
"Alright we got it, get him out of there!" Jack said.
"Arcee disconnect Bumblebee now!" Ratchet exclaimed.
Arcee twisted the cord preparing to pull it out of Bee's head, inside Megatron's head they both watched as everything around them broke apart and started getting sucked into a vortex with lightning all around them.
"You were watching… You tricked me!" Megatron exclaimed before watching as Bumblebee started turning into mist. "NO! Take me with you! Take me!" Megatron shouted as he fallowed Bumblebee and turned into a purple mist before Arcee finished the disconnection.
"Come on Bee." Arcee said as she shook him before noticing Starscream walking towards them and turned around activating her blaster, at that moment Bumblebee came back online just as Starscream leaned down to look.
"What in the?!" Starscream exclaimed before watching as the Spacebridge opened up before Bumblebee ran through. "Intruders!" Starscream exclaimed before pulling out is blaster.
"Allow me!" Arcee said before firing her blaster and scored a hit on a vital cord connected to Megatron spark before she jumped through the Spacebridge as it closed.
"How were Autobots able to get on board?!" Flamewar asked.
"We are leaving a trail, as the electromagnetic shielding is down." Knockout said.
Flamewar slowly turned to Starscream with her optics turning into a magma red.
"You mean to tell me… that those Autobots… found the correct frequency wavelength of the Nemesis… snuck onboard and nearly killed Megatron… and you've neglected to mention this why?" Flamewar spoke very slowly with lots restrained anger as Soundwave reconnected Megatron to the life support system.
"Said he figured that the troops would blame you for it." Knockout said only to get shot in the shoulder causing him to scream in pain as he fell to the ground.
"Is that so?..."Flamewar said before she directed her attention to Starscream who looked like he witnessed the second coming of Megatron as she started walking very slowly towards him with her blaster still out and smoking from using it against Knockout who's know groaning in agony. "Anything to add to this, Starscream?" Flamewar said scarring Starscream even more so.
"I tried to get the troops to work harder on it!" Starscream said.
"Yet they didn't in time, it's time to see why my beloved enjoys beating you so much." Flamewar said as she popped her fingers and the joints in her neck.
Outside the room two Vehicon troopers stood guard before they heard the sounds of Starscream being tormented as his screams of pain echoed from inside. The two looked at each other before shrugging as they continued standing not really caring what happens to Starscream at this point.
Meanwhile, Ratchet had finished making the cure after both Bumblebee and Arcee returned to base and quickly administered the cure to Optimus, who's currently being help onto his peds by Ratchet.
"That's it, steady." Ratchet said as he helped Optimus stand. Everyone gave applause as they saw Optimus get up.
"Please, reserve the hero's welcome for my physician, and my scout." Optimus said as he remembered what they did to locate the cure, everyone then started applauding to Bumblebee who looked very bashful at the attention.
"Not bad little buddy." Springer said patting Bumblebee on the back.
"Wasp is very proud of his brother." Wasp said.
Bee's optics suddenly shrunk.
(Inside Bee's mind)
"I'm out." A familiar set of red optics said before they stepped into the light to reveal Megatron inside Bee's head. "Or should I say, in!" Megatron said before he started laughing.
Meanwhile the day after the Autobots snuck onboard with the Electromagnetic shielding back online, Flamewar walked inside the medical room with a fully repaired Knockout tending to Megatron.
"So how's my beloved doing today?" Flamewar questioned.
"Funny you should ask, not sure what the bots did in there. But Megatron is now registering zero brainwave activity." Knockout said.
"Hmm… meaning what exactly?" Flamewar questioned.
"Physically he's stable, but now there's… no one home." Knockout explained.
Flamewar looked down in thought before having a small smirk on her face.
"Hehahaha… Oh those idiotic fools, they did a half-baked plan not knowing that it's a two way conduit." Flamewar said getting Knockout's attention.
"Are you saying that the scout has unknowingly become Megatron's ride?" Knockout questioned.
"Exactly." Flamewar said.
"So... Flamewar, about me siding with Starscream..." Knockout said
"So you could stab him in the back, I know." Flamewar said.
"You know?" Knockout said.
"That was why I didn't fire a high powered blast against you, I knew from the beginning that you were scheming to betray him later on. As a reward for trying to put the fool in his place, I want to divulge some… interesting information that you would more than likely be glad to hear." Flamewar said.
Knockout was just rolling with it at this point as he was originally just wanting to secure a place within the Decepticons but if this meant he'd not have to face their wrath he'd go with it.
"And what would that be Lady Flamewar?" Knockout questioned.
"Oh, the fact that Starscream isn't the true 'heir' to Megatron's throne anymore." Flamewar stated shocking Knockout.
"Excuse me?" Knockout said.
"You've heard right, Megatron has a true heir to the throne and he's currently on his way here as we speak." Flamewar said.
"By the Allspark… that's… magnificent news!" Knockout said as he's actually happy to hear that Starscream isn't going to be in line anymore. "When should the young lord arrive?" Knockout asked.
"Based on the reply he sent, in about a few Earth hours." Flamewar said.
"Is he strong?" Knockout asked.
"He augmented himself to become a weapon of pure destruction. All using notes left by Shockwave." Flamewar said.
"He… experimented on himself?!" Knockout said in shock.
"I advised against it at first, but he pointed out that he's Megatron's heir and as such he needs to be stronger and smart enough to one day take over should the day ever arrive. Hehe, it seems that day has come." Flamewar said.
"So not only is he a strong powerful warrior, but he also has a strong mind." Knockout said
"The perfect warrior, the Autobots will have their hands full when my Sparkling joins us." Flamewar said.
"And I will relish that moment my Lady." Knockout said.
"Good, now I need you to continue your deception with Starscream a little while longer. Knowing the fool, he'll try something in order to take the throne himself." Flamewar said.
"Of course my Lady, but what of the scout carrying Lord Megatron?" Knockout questioned.
"My beloved will find a way to return to his body, and it would be best if we kept this between ourselves, Starscream must not know of this." Flamewar said.
"Understood my Lady." Knockout said.
Meanwhile at the Autobots base, Ratchet is examining Optimus to make sure he's fully recovered from the Cybonic Plague.
"I thought I almost lost you." Elita-1 said.
"As did I." Optimus said as he did as Ratchet instructed as he fallowed the light with his optics.
"Good, good." Ratchet said before he turned off the light and put it away. "I wouldn't advise anything strenuous Optimus, but it appears that your systems have fully recovered from the Cybonic Plague." Ratchet reported.
"Thanks to your medical expertise old friend." Optimus said.
"It was your scout who braved unknown territory to locate the cure." Ratchet said.
"It was nothing really." Bumblebee said.
"Lucky for us that Megatron was still alive." Arcee said shocking both Bumblebee and Springer who both looked at each other.
"Did she just say that?" Bumblebee questioned.
"Yeah she did." Springer said.
"I didn't think those words would ever leave my mouth." Arcee said.
"What matters is that you're on the mend Optimus, while Megatron..." Ratchet said.
"Yeah, about that. We don't know if he's truly gone or not, even though Arcee said she fired a round at him." Bumblebee said.
"Bee's right, did my best to end Megatron's story, just couldn't stick around long enough to see how it ended." Arcee said as Bumblebee left the room.
"Look Optimus, there's something I've been hiding from you." Elita-1 said.
"What is it Elita-1?" Optimus asked.
"I… I didn't tell you this before but… we have a Sparkling." Elita-1 announced shocking everyone present.
"You guys can have kids?" Pega asked. "Wait then... I'm leaving that thought at that." He said.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Optimus questioned ignoring what Pega said in favor of his Sparkmate.
"I was going to but..." Elita-1 said.
"But it was at the time I sanctioned a ship for you to get off Cybertron?" Optimus guessed.
"Yes, she will be here sometime today or tomorrow." Elita-1 said.
"I have a daughter?" Optimus said she simply nodded yes in reply.
Suddenly smoke came from his head as he fell back onto the ground.
"Oh jeez!" Springer exclaimed before he ran over and lifted the big guy off the ground and slung Optimus's arm around his shoulder. "Well… I'd say he handled that… fairly well?" Springer said.
"So what's your daughter like?" Jack asked
"Well she has my download ability." Elita-1 said chuckling as Wasp fanned Optimus. "Though… I will say that she also seems to be like Optimus in some aspects, as she seems to have a similar vehicle mode to when we were on Cybertron." Elita-1 added.
"Wait back up, download ability?" Miko asked.
"Yes, I have the ability to temporarily borrow other Cybertronian weapons for a short time." Elita-1 said.
"And their own abilities." Red Alert added.
"Like if I were to do it to Bulkhead I would gain his strength and wrecking balls." Elita-1 said.
"Those things would be cooler if he could launch 'em on cables, swinging them knocking back cons." Pega said.
"He did consider it once, but thought otherwise when he realized that an enemy could simply cut said cable if he missed." Springer said as he sat Optimus on a nearby create.
"Me Wasp once wanted stingers same as Bumblebee." Wasp said.
"I always thought I could do well with magnets." Ratchet said adding in his own opinion before sighing. "Sadly though as the war raged on, the Decepticons were able to acquire all of the remaining ability chips that were left and implemented them into their highest ranking officers." Ratchet finished.
"I'll get to work on it." Jack said.
"I'm sure, after we have a look at this Under Town you spoke of." Ratchet said.
"Yeah… Though that reminds me. I need to have another look at the Cortical Psychic Patch to make sure it doesn't have any side effects from its use." Jack added.
"You do that, meanwhile it's time for some basketball!" Miko said.
"How you thought of using a Lobbing Ball as the basketball I'll never know." Sierra said.
"To the court, Basketball of Cybertron!" Miko said before blowing into a whistle as the bots wanting to play started the game.
"Wha-what happened?" Optimus said as he shot back up.
"You short circuited when I told you that we have a daughter." Elita-1 summarized.
Smoke came out of his head again as he dropped.
"Oh for Primus' sake." Springer said.
Everyone laughed thinking it was hilarious, though inside Bumblebee's head Megatron overheard this.
"So… the mighty Optimus Prime and the talented Elita-1 have a daughter?" Megatron muttered to himself before he smirked darkly.
Later we see Bumblebee having the lobbing ball as Bulkhead was between him and the knight as he passed them before he had an open shot but stopped as he suddenly started having flashbacks to when the Spacebridge exploded.
"Bee quit hogging the ball and shoot it into the hoop." Bulkhead said just then Bumblebee threw the ball at Bulkhead who ducked at the last moment as it hit the wall behind him before Miko blew the whistle.
"Flagrant foul!" She shouted.
"Dodgeball of Cybertron." Pega said chuckling the commotion made Jack stop looking what data the Autobots have on the Cortical Psychic Patch to see what happened.
"Bee, the hoop is over there." Springer said pointing behind him.
"Yeah what's the deal with throwing the ball at me?" Bulkhead asked
"How did I miss that?" Bumblebee said tiredly. "I don't know." Bumblebee said
"You okay Bee?" Raf asked
"Yeah, best two out of three." Bumblebee said
"Yeah, that's right." Raf said.
The gang went back it, but Jack leered his eyes in thought.
"That's strange… Bee's never done anything like this before. Though this may be a side effect from the Cortical Psychic Patch… but the way he threw the ball, somethings not right." Jack thought before he resumed his research.
"Does Wasp's brother seem off to you?" Wasp asked him.
"Yeah… like it wasn't him in control for that moment. Though it could just be a slight side effect from the Cortical Psychic Patch." Jack said Wasp whined for a moment. "Look I'm keeping my eye on him don't worry." Jack said.
"Wasp knows, but Wasp doesn't want to keep see brother like this." Wasp said.
"Me neither." Jack said
Sometime later Bumblebee is walking down the halls before his optics dialed and his stance changed along with his expression.
'It is only a matter of time before they realize all is not well with you scout.' Megatron said 'I must reclaim my body, which means taking complete and total control of yours! Though, if I am to reclaim my body, I must first restore its functionality. How did I escape annihilation?... Of course! Dark Energon… Starscream.' Megatron growled at the end now remembering how this whole situation came about. 'I must be wary, your twin and the human already can tell all is not right, I must reclaim my body before they find out I am within you.' Megatron said before allowing Bumblebee control again and he looked around before shrugging thinking that it was just his mind playing tricks on him.
Meanwhile on the Nemesis, Starscream is currently coming up with a plan he believes will put him back in command of the Decepticons and overthrow Flamewar.
"How's it going?" Knockout asked
"You, why did you tell her all those things?!" Starscream asked angrily
"Hey, you're not the only one looking to protect himself. Besides, you'd have done the same to save yourself." Knockout pointed out.
"Grr! Touché, Knockout." Starscream growled.
"We all do what we must do to survive, Lord Starscream." Knockout said.
"Hrmm… You have a point. Regardless, I believe to have devised a plan to put me back at the top again." Starscream said.
"Really? And what would that be?" Knockout said playing along as he was ordered to by Flamewar.
"You know that ND7 class Energon deposit we detected a few weeks back?" Starscream asked.
"How could I not? Besides, that's the most un-minable Energon deposit there is as its covered in very thick ice." Knockout said.
"I plan to melt it." Starscream said
"Are you sure this is the best plan? That'll flood coastal cities and possibly put us on the earth heroes watch list." Knockout said.
"What of them? They're insignificant in comparison to our weapons and advanced technology." Starscream said.
"Like the kryptonian? I heard he could lift a building he's like that Ultra, only less powerful." Knockout said
"Quit your whining, you do want to be my second in command don't you?" Starscream said
"… Yes I do, and as your 'second in command' I have to be sure that you really don't mind exposing us to the planet." Knockout said.
"Quit whining and await my command." Starscream said before he left the room. As he did Flamewar came from behind Knockout.
"I don't know how much more I can stomach of him, calling him Lord? Bleh, I almost felt the urge to vomit!" Knockout said to her.
"Do not worry for much longer Knockout, for Dragotron is going to be arriving momentarily." Flamewar said.
"Thank the Allspark, he couldn't arrive much sooner. If Starscream goes through with this plan, we'll be exposed and have a giant target painted on our backs." Knockout said.
"Just keep going along with it, I have a feeling he'll fail as usual." Flamewar said before Soundwave walked over and showed a transmission coming from a small Decepticon ship coming towards them at great speed. "Hmm… Or we could watch Starscream fail to get recognition from Dragotron instead." Flamewar said.
Knockout chuckled as he grinned.
"Oh this is going to be fun to watch." Knockout said.
The two walked to the command deck
"Attention all Decepticons report to the flight deck immediately." Flamewar said, not long after she have the command all of the Decepticon troops gathered at the flight deck, as did Starscream.
"Okay you got us out here now-AHHH!" Starscream said as a loud roar cut him off, and said roar came from the most fearsome ship that the Decepticons have ever seen, it was as if Trypticon's head had shrunk and changed into a small flying ship.
The ship then did a flip before transforming changing into a large terrifying Cybertronian taller than Megatron with a build that was very similar to the warlord.
"Decepticons your true commander has arrived!" The Cybertronian said speaking in a gruff almost animalistic tone.
"And who are you to take command of the Decepticon armada-AUGH!" Starscream started only to be swatted aside by the new Cybertronian like a common house fly.
"I am Dragotron, Megatron's true heir, what're you some stress relief bot?"
This got snickers from most of the crew.
"He may as well, for with how many failed attempts at overthrowing Megatron it's a wonder that he's still alive." Flamewar said.
"Carrier, it's been a long time." Dragotron said surprising the rest of the crew as they finally understand the true meaning of his words.
"Megatron has a Sparkling?!" Starscream shouted
"When I left Cybertron I found out I was blessed with a child, and I knew my beloved Megatron would want a strong heir, so I helped train him to become a great warrior, he even augmented himself to become part Predacon using research made by Shockwave." Flamewar said
"Self-experimentation?!" Starscream said before he watched Dragotron walk over to him.
"The great sky commander Starscream, my have you fallen from grace." Dragotron said.
"My dear son is a war machine, a beast mode, jet mode and tank mode." Flamewar said
"A quadruple changer?!" Starscream said
"Fetch me Energon I thirst." Dragotron ordered Starscream
"At… at once, Lord Dragotron." Starscream growled before he got up and shoved some seekers out of the way to retrieve the Energon.
"Huh, I expected more of a spectacle from this." Knockout said.
"This is my Sir's army? A bunch of drones?" Dragotron said.
"Sadly, my lord. The rest were scattered to the winds after Cybertron went dark." Knockout said.
"Which resulted in having a bunch of drones that have terrible aim." Dragotron said before he sighed. "No matter, this shall be corrected." Dragotron finished.
"Wait what?" Knockout asked
"Carrier, how many Autobots are on earth?" Dragotron asked
"In total, there are five." Flamewar answered.
"And yet we outnumber them a hundred to one, how is it that an entire army can't handle a band of Autobots?!" Dragotron shouted.
"Well… to be fair, they do have a certain Prime amongst them." Knockout replied.
"I will grind Optimus's spark into dust with my bare hands, I have been remodeled for one thing the complete annihilation of my enemies." Dragotron said as he made hand ignite with flames. "One of my many upgrades, and not the only element I can use." He said as he then made it spark with electricity before making his other hand go cold with ice
"Wow he really turned himself into a war machine huh." Knockout said
"The Autobots don't stand a chance, see there's one side effect of his upgrade, the angrier he becomes the stronger he becomes." Flamewar said
"I will help Sire win this war, or die trying." Dragotron said
"Though my Lord, perhaps you would first like to visit your sire before plotting against the Autobots?" Knockout suggested.
"Of course, I like you and that's saying something. Oh and remind me to inform Starscream of his new job." Dragotron said
"Oh, I will my lord. Now if you'll follow me, I'll take you to sickbay." Knockout said before he lead them into the ship.
Meanwhile back at the base we see Bumblebee walking before his optics turn to dots again as he picked up Ratchet's flashlight
'Yes, go on Scout, obey my will.' Megatron said before Bumblebee crushed the flashlight.
"Bumblebee!" Ratchet called out behind him causing his optics to return to normal before he turned to face Ratchet. "I needed that!" Ratchet whined.
"What?" Bumblebee said before he noticed the crushed flashlight in his servo.
"What has gotten into you?" Ratchet asked
"I… keep seeing Megatron's face." Bumblebee said.
"You're seeing Megatron's face?" Ratchet questioned.
A few minutes later we see Bumblebee in the holding chamber powering down
Wasp then came in with Raf and Pega
"Shouldn't you be in school?" Ratchet asked him
"Wasp told me something was going on with Bumblebee, so I decided to come." Raf said
"Fair enough." Ratchet said.
"Wasp wants to know what's wrong with Bumblebee?" Wasp said.
"He's complaining of intermittent dreams, waking nightmares if you will, this forced shut down should give his mind time to rest and recover." Ratchet said
"I thought you said he was fine when you checked him over." Pega said
"Physically, but we didn't account for the emotional backlash, this should help. Oh and see if you can get that brother of yours out of his lab, he's going over those Gyaos eggs again and hasn't answered his phone." Ratchet said
"Will do." Pega said before he left.
Raf just sat next to Bumblebee's foot and pulled out his laptop, a few moments later Pega came back with Jack in toe.
"Well there you are." Ratchet said
"Sorry it's just those eggs are going to hatch any day now and I don't want them tearing up my lab there's sensitive equipment down there." Jack said
"Well this morning we received two messages, one from Leito and the other from what I believe to be is the land of light." Ratchet said
"… Back up, did you say 'The' Land of Light?" Jack questioned.
"From Tregear." Ratchet said
Jack went to the computers and looked at it he saw footage of Tregear facing Taro and winning using moves he taught him then he saw him shaking hands with Ultra Father
"Is it bad?" Ratchet asked
"He finally got into the Space Garrison." Jack said
"Your joking?" Pega said.
"Nope, the footage is right here." Jack said.
The footage ended with Tregear standing with Taro giving them a peace sign.
"Way to go buddy, though I hope he still has time to come for visits, I like having lab partners. Now for Leito's message." Jack said
He then opened it to see Leito shaking hands with his boss while everyone was clapping for with smiles on their faces.
"Well, wonders haven't seized yet." Jack said.
"What?" Raf asked
"Looks like Leito got promoted." Jack said as he had a hand in helping him get better at his job and showed him a few tricks he picked up.
Suddenly Leito came on the thing with a second message. "Mayu has a little star come quick." He said quickly before the message ended.
"Oh my, gonna be one of those days. I'm gonna need a ride, and I think I'll go pick up Laiha." Jack said
"Wasp will go with Jack." Wasp said before he transformed and opened his door.
"Keep me updated on him." Jack said as he got in and Wasp raced out of the base.
"That can't be good." Pega said
"I pity any Kaiju that goes after Mayu, Zero seems to be taking to a father like attitude with her." Raf said
"I hope he decides to stay after he heals, I like having him around." Pega said
"Not likely from what I understand." Ratchet mentions as he looked over Bumblebee.
"So you think he'd leave?" Pega asked
"Oh no considering his time with Leito's family I think he'd stay besides I think he likes Leito." Ratchet said
"Though we also have to remember he's a member of the Space Garrison, so he may have to leave when all's said and done, Pega." Raf said.
"Yeah I know." Pega said.
Meanwhile at the A.I.B we see Zena in his true form looking over one of Kei's books.
"Kei hasn't even told his editor where he lives, I haven't even been able to find any sign of where it is." Moa said. "I haven't even found any trace of his existence before he became an author." Moa added.
"We'll have to review any ties between him and the previous Kaiju attacks." Zena said
Meanwhile at the playground we see Jack with Laiha and Leito as Mayu plays.
"We got here as fast as we could." Jack said as they watched Mayu play.
"Now what happened?" Laiha asked
"Well Mayu really wanted to go to the playground I was tying my shoe and when I looked up she stepped into a portal and when I rushed here she was here." Leito said
"Sounds like Teleportation, definitely Zeros power though considering how this didn't involve armor we may be looking at regular Zero not Ultimate." Jack said before Zero took over.
"Yeah, though now we need to remove the Little Star before Kei shows up again." Zero said.
"As I fight the Kaiju he may not be far behind." Jack said
"And if he is we'll get him, we still need information out of him, like what exactly these little stars are and most importantly where Belial is hiding." Zero said
"Your still going after him, huh?" Jack said.
"Not to fight him, if that's what you're thinking. I just need to confirm if what Kei says is true or not, I'm not going to trust the word of one of his followers." Zero said.
"Yeah, but remember we need him alive he's still the only member of Miko's birth family." Jack said
"I know, that's why we are just going to capture him and nothing more. If that's alright with you Laiha?" Zero said.
Laiha nodded in agreement.
"Wait what are we going to do with Mayu?" Leito asked taking back control
"I might have an idea." Laiha said with a small smile.
The two looked at each other.
Moments later we see them in the Nebula house
"Almost thought you were gonna go for the base." Jack said to her
"Baby steps." Laiha said
"Good point." Jack said before walking over to RE.M. "Hey RE.M, got a visitor." Jack said only for her not to say anything. "RE.M?" Jack questioned before a hatch opened up and out stepped a modified Jet-Jaguar.
"I'm right here, Jack." RE.M said from the robot.
"I see you finally got that working." Jack said
Suddenly Pega came in through a dark zone portal "Sorry forgot... our lunch." He said seeing Mayu who got scared and disappeared through a portal "That was bad timing wasn't it?" He said
Jack subtly nodded to him only for Mayo to reappear behind Leito and hides behind his legs.
"It's okay this is Pega my little brother." Jack said
"It is nice to meet you." Pega said as he pulled out one of his roses and she smiles before taking it.
Everyone sighed in relief at this
"Meet my mom." Pega said
"Isn't..." Leito was saying
"Mom may have taken Raf and Pega in but R.E.M. raised them, said she thought the experience would teach her to be more human." Jack said watching as Pega was showing Mayu how he makes his fake flowers
"How'd you convince her to come or even come back if Pega showed?" Leito asked
"Just a little girl talk." Laiha said
"Let's leave it at that then." Jack said.
"There's a Kaiju approaching the house." R.E.M. said as she pulled up a screen showing said Kaiju
"Despotic Kaiju, Tyrant." Jack said
"Not the typical fusion Kaiju we've seen thus far." RE.M added.
The Kaiju was just swinging its pick ax arm into the ground.
"It appears to be digging, its target must be -" RE.M started.
"Please leave it at that." Jack said interrupting R.E.M.
Leito then went over and held Mayu.
"Mayu, can you stay here with Pega and RE.M and watch the house?" Leito asked.
"Okay." Mayu said.
The trio left the house using the elevator and when the exited the Tyrant tried hitting them with its hook only to miss as they dodged the attack.
"Welp, Standing around doing nothing won't get me anywhere!" Jack exclaimed before he is then covered in a bright light.
"Ultraman! Ultraman Belial! Ultraman Geed: Primitive!" The device called out before the light faded to show Geed before it went to Moa looking through a book and found something.
It was a record of a Kaiju attack at the Mitsuse Foothills in Japan, 12 people had died but one had lived that person was...
"Toba Laiha?" Moa said in surprise before she gasped. "Then is this girl…" Moa trailed off before it transitioned back to the current battle as Geed battled Tyrant with skill and precision.
Geed was dodging the axe arm before uppercutting the Kaiju sending it staggering back as it shook its head. Suddenly as Geed fought Laiha got an Alert on her phone
"Another Kaiju has appeared, only it's not around here it's in the Mitsuse Foothills in Japan." R.E.M said as she pulled up footage "Its Skull Gomora the same type that attacked Eri." She said
"Red horns." Mayu said looking at it.
"Mitsuse… Foothills…" Laiha said.
"I'm going." Leito said as he took out the Zero eye and changed into Zero
Geed glanced back seeing Zero coming down before jumping back as Zero kicked Tyrant to the ground, Zero then scoffed as he then rotated his right arm.
"I am Zero, Ultraman Zero!" Zero called out before he got into his stance.
"What's up?" Geed asked
"Another ones showed up in Japan the Mitsuse Foothills, you go handle it I'll handle this guy." Zero said
"Mitsuse Foothills, eh?" Geed said getting Zero's attention.
"Something wrong?" Zero questioned.
"No... It's nothing." Geed said before he flew off towards Japan.
"Ha, ha, let's dance!" Zero said as he charged in.
Geed arrived and saw Skull Gomora before charging in and tackling it, sending into the ground. As Geed landed with grace.
"Kei… I know your Skull-Gomora." Geed stated rather than asked as the Kaiju stood back up. The Kaiju rubbed rubble off its shoulder.
"Of course you do, after all, I all but told you when Okim turned into her fusion form." It said in Kei's voice
"Why did you send the Tyrant?" Geed questioned.
"I had to give the child a reason to pray to you." Kei said
"I see, then why this form and in this location of all places?" Geed questioned further.
"Now this was more of a way to mess with you." Kei said with a chuckle before glowing as he shrank back down To human size before chuckling some more as he turned on the bridge he was standing on to see Laiha
"Please Ultraman stop big sis!" Mayu said getting his notice and watched as her little star floated inside and Jack held out a capsule as it turned into Zero with a blue background.
"So it was Zero." Jack said before Geed shrunk down and picked up Mayu and flew over to the bridge before he reverted back to normal.
"Didn't figure you'd show up." Kei said to Laiha
"At first I thought that this was just a way to draw us out or another way to get at Zero for your master." Laiha said
"Oh no, no, no, that's not worth the loss of a Little Star, like what happened with you and Rafael." Kei said.
Laiha breathed heavily before she unsheathed her sword and charged in.
"Laiha stop!" Jack called out only to be ignored as she attacked Kei only for him to either dodge or blocked her attacks with his cane.
"Touched a nerve did I?" Kei said before groaning as Laiha lands a hard kick to his gut making him cough as he leaned against the bridge and was met by her sword in his face "Fighting dirty, not bad." He said
"I wanted to win more than you did." Laiha said. "Because of me, people I cared about died. I couldn't protect them." Laiha continued as Leito showed up. "The pain I felt for these past six years… The frustration… Can you understand them?" Laiha finished.
"The only pain I've ever felt was not being able to save my sister and not getting a chance to see Okim grow up." Kei said
"Then why did you inflicted that pain?" Laiha questioned.
"It was a simple test of the Kaiju capsules, I wasn't even aware of you being there at the time, nor did I have any control of my actions at the time." Kei answered.
"How could you not be aware or be in control?" Jack asked
"Back in those days I didn't have the greatest of control of the Belial fusion form I took. I was still learning to control it but when a little star showed up, the ones that she and your brother had, all I could do was try to take it, when they were gone I regained control. Then I moved on and focused on controlling myself." Kei answered further.
"You never shed a tear or have remorse for what you did." Laiha said
"Kid, I've killed a lot of people how was a few nameless humans going to affect me?" Kei said.
Laiha growled before spinning her blade, Kei's eyes widened as Leito covered Mayu's while Jack ran forward. Time seemed to slow as Laiha saw a golden light, which seemed to have put her in some kind of trance as she stopped her attack and forced her to lower her sword.
Kei cleared his throat as he fixed his suit. "Now I believe I will be leaving." He said
"Wait!" Zero said as he rushed at him only to hit Kei's barrier
"Good day." He said as he vanished
Unaware to them Moa and Zena were watching them with binoculars.
"Fukuide Kei really is a part of this." Moa said.
"That man..." Zena said looking at Leito
Jack's phone went off and he answered it
"Jack you gotta come quick Bumblebee just up and left the base." Raf said
"Really is gonna be one of those days." Jack said before he hanged up and the elevator appeared allowing them to leave Japan and show up at the Nebula House.
Jack then used the elevator to get to the base where he saw Wasp helping Ratchet back up. "What happened?" he said
"Bumblebee just got up and left, we was in power down but somehow he just got up and left" Ratchet said.
"Wasp then watched Bumblebee return with a Dark Energon shard before he knocked Wasp and Ratchet out." Wasp added.
"I was afraid of this, Megatron is occupying Bee's mind." Jack said
"Agreed, we were such fools. The Cortical Psychic Patch acted as a two way conduit. When Bumblebee returned to his own mind Megatron followed. Now Bumblebee... Megatron has bridged to nearly the same coordinates as Optimus used." Ratchet said as he went to the space bridge controls.
"And what are they doing?" Jack asked
"Preventing a polar ice cap from melting." Ratchet said
"They're what?!" Jack exclaimed.
Meanwhile at the Nemesis, Starscream was somehow able to convince Dragotron to go ahead with his plan, though what he didn't know was Dragotron simply wanted to see him fail.
"Let the reign of Starscream begin." Starscream said as a Vehicon fired the weapon unleashing a beam to the ice
"Oh just keep your back turned you fool." Knockout muttered
"Humph… This is his 'brilliant' plan? Melting the ice?" Dragotron scoffed.
"I know right." Knockout said.
Meanwhile with Optimus, Springer, Bulkhead and Arcee
"Feels different this time, feels like summer" Arcee said
Before they peaked around a corner to see the heat ray melting the ice.
"Here, that's a bad thing." Bulkhead added.
"No kidding, Bulk." Springer said.
"Autobots do you remember the End Run on Polyhex?" Optimus said getting their attention.
Meanwhile Ratchet, Wasp, Raf, and Jack who's in his armor used the same coordinates Megatron used, though it turns out they are now inside the Decepticon warship. They saw the bodies of many Vehicons.
"Did Bumblebee do this?" Raf questioned.
"I fear Megatron's mind is dominant and clearly he came here with one purpose. To use the Dark Energon to resurrect his own body." Ratchet said.
"Bee won't let him just like he wouldn't let Megatron hurt me and Raf." Pega said
"Wasp hopes your right." Wasp said.
Meanwhile outside we see Arcee, Bulkhead and Springer racing towards the ship
"Another Autobot?" Dragotron said
"That's new, must be a late arrival." Knockout said.
"So their ranks have increased, no matter." Dragotron said before looking at a dark blue mech with yellow optics. "Breakdown, dispose of them." Dragotron said.
Breakdown grinned as he leapt off the ship before diving down.
"I wanted to say that." Knockout said
"Maybe next time." Dragotron said though as he watched Breakdown take on the Autobots he noticed something. "Strange… Prime should be with them right now… unless." Dragotron muttered before he figured it out and decided to watch the events unfold.
Meanwhile the group inside the ship made it to the med bay to see Bumblebee hooking up the Cortical Psychic Patch to both himself and Megatron's body.
Ratchet charged at him
"Don't hurt Bumblebee!" Raf said
"That ain't Bumblebee right now!" Jack said as Ratchet went in for a swing only to miss and be punched away from Bumblebee.
Jack charged and kicked Bumblebee in the back sending him into a wall, Bumblebee got back up and charged back in causing them to have a short battle before Bumblebee landed a good hit and sent Jack flying into the wall.
"Okay… one… word… ouch." Jack groaned as he actually felt that one.
Bumblebee groaned as two dark sphere struck him in the back
"Don't make us do this to you Bee, fight him!" Raf said as he and Pega's hands had another black sphere in them and for a moment it seemed Bumblebee was fighting him.
"R-Raf? P-Pega?" Bumblebee said
"That's right, stand up to him!" Raf said
"Unbelievable!" Megatron shouted inside Bumblebee's head before he forcefully took control again.
Bumblebee began to groan as he tried fighting off Megatron he then collapsed onto his knees both Raf and Pega ran over to check on him only for Bumblebee to flick them away with his hand.
"Bumblebee can't hear you anymore." Megatron said before he noticed Ratchet at his body and grabbed the cable connected to his spark.
"Farwell, Megatron!" Ratchet said before he yanked it off and Megatron ran over and grabbed him before he threw him away from the birth.
Bumblebee's optics widened seeing Megatron's body's vitals begin flatlining, before they narrowed, and he pulled out the Dark Energon shard and stabbed into the spark chamber causing it to glow before it merged with the body and restored the damaged area. And the body was revived, Bumblebee then stood still as he slack before Megatron's optics opened.
Bumblebee groaned as Wasp helped him up while everyone watched as Megatron got off the birth just as Vehicons entered the room.
"Decepticons! Your rightful Lord and master has returned!" Megatron announced to the ones present.
All looked as Megatron walked to the door "Finish these pests" he said as he walked past the Vehicons. "I have my own extermination to perform." Megatron added as the Vehicons activated their blasters and let lose a volley of laser fire at the Autobots.
Jack made a barrier in front of them all as Ratchet grabbed Raf and Pega and got to cover while Wasp and Bumblebee fired back
Meanwhile outside we see Arcee getting tossed by Breakdown, but Springer caught her before the Decepticon charged at Bulkhead while converting his right servo into a hammer/
"I'm gonna put you on ice!" Breakdown said before both their melee weapons collided and caused a shockwave that crack the ice around them.
"Don't the bots seem… understaffed?" Knockout questioned.
Unknown to them Optimus had used an iceberg as a ramp to jump to the Nemesis, and continued to drive towards the heat ray and they all heard his engine before turning around to see him charging at the machine.
"What use is a second in command who fails to watch the rear!" Starscream said to Knockout before he jumped onto the machine. "Get out of my way!" Starscream said before kicking the Vehicon off and took over the controls and redirected it at Optimus who groaned at the immense heat before he got close enough to transform and jump with his blade down. "NO!" Starscream shouted knowing what he intended to do.
Optimus slashed the lens right off the weapon causing a massive explosion sending him to the ground below, once the smoke cleared it revealed that the top back side of the ship is bellowing smoke while Optimus is groaning in slight pain as steam floated off of him. Starscream then flew over him as he then went very high up in the sky before he started divebombing him.
"Megatron's greatest mistake was ever allowing you to live Prime!" Starscream yelled as he armed his missiles only as he was closing in did a very familiar silver jet fly in and intercept Starscream and flew off with him towards the ship.
"Megatron!" Optimus said.
Megatron then dropped Starscream on the side of the ship before he transformed shocking Starscream at his miraculous recovery.
"Lord Megatron!... You are… Your healed! Praise the Allspark, it is a miracle!" Starscream said trying to save face.
"Oh, it will be a miracle alright Starscream. If you survive what I have planned for you!" Megatron said basically stating he knows what he did.
Starscream tried to transform to run away but was knocked down by Dragotron before he could.
"And who are you?" Megatron questioned.
"Your one true heir, sire." Dragotron said as he bowed and Megatron then caught on which made him remember who he is.
"Dragotron, my have you grown. More so than I could've ever have imagined." Megatron said while smirking as he approved by what he's see's.
"I have remodeled myself to be only one thing, a destroyer. Now I believe you have a seeker to punish?" Dragotron said as he stepped out of the way, clearing a path to Starscream who is still recovering from that sucker punch from earlier.
"Ah yes, very much so." Megatron said before he started making his way towards Starscream who noticed this.
"Wait master, Optimus, he's down there waiting for you." Starscream said as he tried backing away.
"My greatest mistake?! I've made a few, but there is one I do not intend to make again!" Megatron said as he grabbed Starscream by the helm and started dragging him towards the ship with Dragotron fallowing behind.
The Autobots watched as the Nemesis flew away.
"Ratchet we need a bridge." Optimus said.
"You're not the only ones." Ratchet said as he and the others made themselves known.
"Wow." Jack said looking down the hole Starscream's weapon made.
"Is that a?" Pega said as they walked over and looked down at one of the sides of the giant hole, to see a giant golden draconic head frozen inside.
"A King Ghidorah, frozen." Jack said.
"Of all things to be there with the Energon, it had to be a Ghidorah." Raf said.
"The Energon is still a good distance down, Monarch's gonna love this." Jack said.
"We need to return to base." Arcee said.
"I've got it Arcee." Springer said before he activated his comm link. "Hey, Elita-1?" Springer called.
"Yes, I'm back and I have someone here Optimus needs to meet." Elita-1 said.
"Great, but we really need a bridge. A lot of stuff happened that needs to be shared." Springer said.
"Got it." Elita-1 said before the Groundbridge opened up and allowed them to return to base.
The group came back to the base and found Elita-1 standing with another bot almost as big as Optimus, though instead of a red-n-blue them this one has a dark blue with grey highlights, and is a femme bot to boot judging by the amount of curves on their frame with her chest having a set of breast plates as well, she also has a set of night blue optics.
"Meet your daughter, Ultima." Elita-1 said before the femme bot walk over to Optimus.
"It's good to finally meet you, sire." Ultima said.
"Big girl." Springer said before he got elbowed by Arcee.
"She's augmented herself to be a triple changer, and is just about a walking Arsenal." Elita-1 said
"She did what?!" Ratchet exclaimed.
"She wanted to remake herself to be fit for battle." Elita-1 explained.
"This will not do! Ultima, fallow me to the med bay, I need to make sure you're in good working order." Ratchet said.
Ultima grabbed him by the arm and held him up effortlessly. "I only let Carrier check me over." She said.
"Forgive her, until we met Wasp and Springer I was the only Cybertronian she's ever had to interact with, so she only trusts me." Elita-1 said as she got Ultima to drop him.
"It's understandable, I'll have Red Alert look you over instead." Ratchet said.
"Not only have we gained a new member, so have the Decepticons." Optimus said.
"New member by aft! That was Megatron's true heir! Which makes Starscream obsolete in that department!" Springer exclaimed.
"Who knows what that poor thing has done to himself for Megatron." Red Alert said.
"Let alone what we should expect from this 'Dragotron'." Arcee added.
"Probably did what Ultima did augmented himself." Springer said.
"Which we won't know till we see it for ourselves." Optimus said.
"Today has been a long day." Jack said as he flopped onto the couch.
"No kidding." Pega agreed.
"Laiha, what stopped you from killing Kei?" Jack asked.
"… I heard a voice…" Laiha said getting their attention. "'Stop'… 'This isn't something you should do'…" Laiha explained.
"Well whoever the voice was, I wanna thank them for stopping you from doing something that would've ruined your life." Jack said.
"… Yeah." Laiha said in agreement.
"Now pardon my French but my ass is laying on this couch until tomorrow." Jack said as he laid back into said couch.
"Amen." Bumblebee added as he sat down on a nearby crate.
"Wasp is pooped." Wasp said.
"I believe we all could use the rest." Optimus said.
"Agreed." Elita-1 said.
"Hey, where's Miko been?" Raf asked.
"That's one of the things I'm glad Laiha didn't kill him. See today was one of the days she chose to go and spend time with him." Jack said.
"Dodged a bullet." Pega said.
Everyone began to sleep Jack being the first one as he was exhausted.
"Pega to the rescue." Pega said in his sleep still dreaming of becoming a team with Jack.
"You know eventually he will have to get around to those suits." Springer said.
"Whatever I need a power down, a real one this time." Bumblebee said before walking off to his room.
"No argument there Bee." Springer said before fallowing suit.
And so everyone went off to rest to prepare for whatever life would throw at them next.
