Wow I didn't expect such a reaction to my story, let alone for people to like, so here is the next chapter written to the best of my abilities and as previously stated I would appreciate ideas for an overall story and thank you for reading.
"I'm Lucifer" he said, Bell could only look at him with a shocked expression he had stories about Lucifer from his grandfather, how he had waged a war against heaven only to lose and was condemned to rule over hell for the rest of eternity. "So Bell." Lucifer talking snapped him out of his thought. "Are you prepared to sell your soul?" he said with a warm smile and a nearly intoxicating gaze, Bells breathing became ragged and fear began to enter his eye, because stood before him was the Ruler of Hell, someone considered to be the epitome of evil. Bell was about to run away as far as he could, if it wasn't for the fact that Lucifer began to laugh, not an evil, maniacal laugh but one filled mischievousness "HAHAHA, I've been waiting to pull that one ever since I left!"
Lucifer was still chuckling when Bell finally calmed down "So Bell do you still wish to join me, despite knowing who I am?" Bell was about to reject his offer when he looked at Lucifer's face, and saw that it wasn't wholly evil instead it was warm, and welcoming. Determination now rising inside of Bell, he said while bowing, "YES, IF YOU'LL HAVE MAOU-SAMA!"
"Please call me Lucifer."
"Yes Maou-, Lucifer-sama."
"Do you have a place to stay Bell?" He shook his head no. "Then come with me, I know a place."
The two started walking back to the tavern, where Lucifer payed for a room with two beds for a few nights. With them now in their room Bell exposed his back, while Lucifer began the process of giving his blessing. "Okay, Bell let me see your back." "Yes" he said while turning his back towards him. Lucifer pricked his finger with a needle causing him to bleed, as his blood fell towards his back it dissipated a moment before it hit his back and a faint glow began to occur. 'That's interesting from what I heard it's supposed to be a white glow, but this one is red' "I suppose I still am the devil." he whispered to himself. "Is something wrong Lucifer-sama?" "No, I'm almost finished." As he said that markings began appear, a pentagram with a goats skull in the middle now dawned Bells back.
Congratulations, Bell you are now apart of my familia, he said as pressed a piece of onto Bells back to give him his status, as he handed it to Bell and he looked at it, he began to cry "Bell it's okay, from what I heard everyone starts at the bottom, the more you work the higher your stats become." Bell then began hugging Lucifer, which took him aback a bit. "Bell whats wrong?" "Thank you, for accepting me." Lucifer let out a small sigh, then smiling and returning the hug "Your welcome, Bell."
"Um, Lucifer-sama?"
"Yes?"
The two where currently in bed getting ready to sleep when Bell asked him a question.
"I know you where only joking earlier, but did I actually sell you my soul? Bell asked with a concerned expression, Lucifer sat up and turned to the boy, "Don't worry Bell you did no such thing, and beside I can't do much with a soul other than collect them and that's more so Freya's thing." Bell gave him a puzzled look "Don't worry about it, look you didn't sell me your soul Bell you have nothing to worry about." Bell looking a little more relaxed and was about to lie back down when Lucifer asked him a question. "What is it that you want Bell?" Bell looked at him with a confused expression. "What is it that you desire, dream of or want in life Bell? Remember you can't lie to me." he said with a smile. 'I can't let him know that I want to pick up girls in the dungeon' Bell decided to look for another reason when he remembered the stories that his grandfather told him. "I, I want to be a hero!" Bell said with conviction, the answer surprised Lucifer, but then he began to laugh which caused Bell to blush "It's not that funny." he said, to which Lucifer responded to with, was more laughter "HAHA, a hero HA and a devil HAHA working together, that's the funniest thing I've ever heard." Bell could only blush while Lucifer laughed, when he finally calmed down Bells face was redder than anything he'd ever seen. "Alright Bell, I'll help you reach your goal." Bell looked at him with surprise "You will?" Lucifer nodded, Bell began to smile "Now get some rest, we have to get you registered at the guild tomorrow." Bell nodded, and the two laid down and promptly fell asleep.
