... ... ...

How can I help it if I think you're funny when you're mad
Tryin' hard not to smile though I feel bad
I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral
Can't understand what I mean?
Well, you soon will
I have a tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve
I have a history of losing my shirt

It's been one week since you looked at me
Dropped your arms to your sides
and said "I'm sorry"
Five days since I laughed at you and said
"You just did just what I thought you were gonna do"
Three days since the living room
We realized we're both to blame,
but what could we do?
Yesterday you just smiled at me
Cause it'll still be two days till we say we're sorry

... ... ...

The redhead was at her house later that night, having decided to have a night in after Stefan dropped her off there. Jill appeared to be out so she had taken over the TV, happy to finally watch something she wanted to. She was so sick of Jersey Shore. Her phone beeped and she picked it up, seeing a message from Stefan.

Get to Elena's. Ric possibly crazy, you'll get there first. Be Jill if you have to.

She frowned but stood up, putting her hair into a bun and grabbing one of Jill's jackets, taking off for Elena's at top speed. When she arrived, she slipped in silently through the front door and moved through the house, stopping in the kitchen to see what looked like the remnants of a fight, mugs smashed and blood on the floor. A noise was heard upstairs and she glanced upwards, moving at her supernatural speed up the stairs. She stopped outside the bathroom, hearing someone inside it and smelling the blood. Another noise came from one of the rooms and she looked towards it, just as the front door opened and she moved out of the way, into one of the other bedrooms that connected to the bathroom. She heard Elena and Stefan enter and who she figured out was Alaric going down the steps and speaking with Elena. With him distracted, Kenzie moved up to the bathroom door, giving the lock an extra hard yank and breaking it as she stepped inside to see Meredith slumped against the sink, bloody towels around her, a wound in her side. She dropped down beside her, opening up a vein and feeding it to the woman who slowly drank it.

When she was done, Kenzie stood up and went back to hallway, looking over the railing and seeing Ric standing in front of Elena, both of them looking at a bloody knife on the floor. Not giving him a chance to act, Kenzie threw herself over the railing, landing on Ric's back as she wrapped her arms around his neck, ready to break it.

"No, don't hurt him." Elena cried as Stefan appeared behind Kenzie.

"He doesn't have a ring, Jill." Stefan warned her and the redhead adjusted her grip, instead opting to cut off his air supply enough for him to lose consciousness but not kill him. He finally went limp and she released him to the ground, straightening up and lowering her eyes so Elena couldn't see who she really was.

"Jill?" Elena hesitantly asked.

Kenzie nodded, switching to Jill's much lower, raspier voice. "Meredith is upstairs. She was hurt, I gave her my blood."

"Oh no." Elena whispered, pushing past them and rushing up the stairs leaving her alone with Stefan who stepped forward to grasp her shoulder in thanks.

"I'm glad you were able to get here before us."

"I'm glad you were able to mention he didn't have a ring before I killed him." She wryly replied.

"Yes, well we learned he doesn't need to be wearing the ring in order for him to be going a little crazy. Bonnie is going to do a spell to fix his ring."

Kenzie sighed. "Are they going to come looking for my ring? Because that might be a problem."

"Will it?" He wondered.

"They're not exact Gilbert Rings. They're like the next generation of Gilbert Rings. The kind that are given as hush money."

He looked at her in confusion and she pursed her lips, realizing she hadn't told him what she learned.

"Jill, the real Jill was keeping something from all of us." Kenzie sighed, looking up the steps to make sure Elena wasn't returning. "Apparently there was a very naughty Gilbert. He attacked Jill, raped her by the sounds of it and she ended up preggers."

"So Cecilia…."

"Not Jack's." She confirmed. "Making me a Gilbert."

Stefan's eyes widened in disbelief, knowing of her dislike of her supposed cousin at that time. "And how do you feel about that?"

She shrugged in response. "Well it doesn't exactly make me want to go bonding with her anytime soon and have giggly girly time with mani's and rom-com's."

"You do realize I only got about half of that, right?"

She grinned. "That's because you suck at modern girl talk. I should get home though. Keep me updated on Alaric, on everything." She turned towards the door but stopped and turned back to Stefan. "Did you- did you go home?"

Stefan nodded in understanding. "You want to know if Damon did anything."

She bit her lip, not answering, not wanting to admit she cared.

"I don't want to lie to you Kenz. He had a plan to get into Rebekah's head to see what she was up to, which included him sleeping with her so Sage could get in when she was vulnerable. She wanted to learn what happened to the White Oak tree and learned it was what the Wickery Bridge was made of. Sage double crossed him and told Rebekah, who burnt the bridge."

"Told you Sage was a skank." Kenzie muttered, not wanting to think that her friend had done it again and slept with Damon.

"Are you okay?" Stefan asked.

She smiled at him. "Why wouldn't I be? We broke up." She turned and walked out, making her way back to her house. She was only a few houses away when her phone rang and she pulled it out, making a split second decision to answer it.

"Hey Beks."

"Tell me you had nothing to do with Damon's stupid little plan." The blonde cried.

Kenzie let out a low, humourless laugh. "Really? You're really that stupid to think I would send my ex boyfriend, the guy I still love, even though I try my hardest not to, out to sleep with one of the few people in this stupid town I considered a friend, for some stupid fucked up plan?"

Rebekah was silent for a few moments as she realized exactly what she had done and her only friend was now hurting and extremely upset.

"Kenzie, I didn't think-"

"I have nothing to do with his fucked up plans." Kenzie cut her off with a hiss. "Why? Because I would never have done something like that to you. Your views on friendship is more than a little fucked up. Stay away from me, Rebekah."

"Kenz, no." Rebekah cried, sounding like she was in tears. "I'm sorry, okay, I just didn't want-"

But the redhead cut her off, ending the call as she slumped heavily against the door, wiping at the stray tears that had broken through.

Why couldn't she let him go?

… … …

Kenzie walked through the forest to where Stefan had told her to meet him, wondering what this was all about. He had called just minutes ago, asking how she was doing, then asking her to meet him in the forest. He didn't give her a chance to ask why when he hung up and she left immediately to go meet him. She found him in the forest with Damon, Elena, Caroline and Matt as they talked about the White Oak Tree. She stood out of sight, wanting to listen in on their plan before she interrupted.

"You have a weapon that can kill Klaus?" Elena asked.

"No, we all do." Stefan replied, dropping a duffel bag in the middle of them, filled to the brim with stakes. "Klaus has always been one step ahead of us but now we have the advantage. We're all armed and they are all linked. Meaning we only need to kill one of them. We need to seize the best opportunity, which means we need to prepare for every opportunity."

"Your best bet would be Rebekah." Kenzie announced, making herself known as she stepped up to them.

"Oh great, who invited her?" Damon muttered.

"I did." Stefan replied, giving Kenzie a hard look. "I have a feeling she's willing to help now."

"Red is best friends with Rebekah. How do we know she's not going to double cross us like some other redhead we know and now despise?"

She scowled at Damon. "One, I'm not that Skanky Ho, it's not like there's some 900 year old love I'm trying to save and two, go fuck yourself."

He smirked as Stefan sighed.

"Kenzie's right, Rebekah is our best bet and to do that, we need to keep her away from Klaus."

"I can help with that." Kenzie replied. "She won't bring me anywhere near her brother so I can get her alone."

"I thought you were good friends with her and Elijah." Elena frowned as she looked at Kenzie. "Can you go through with this?"

"Klaus' dying is way more important." The redhead replied. "I'll do what's necessary." She leaned over to pull a stake out of the bag.

"What are you going to do, take the shot yourself?" Damon asked with a snort.

Kenzie twirled the stake in her hands. "If I must. Why, what's your plan? Sleep with her and stake her in her sleep."

"Don't tell me your jealous. Is that why you're all gung ho for getting rid of Beks?" Damon asked in disbelief. "You thought she wouldn't do it and she did, huh? You seem to forget, little Red, you broke up with me."

She glared at him, sticking the stake in her back pocket. "Probably because you couldn't keep your god damn lips to yourself."

"Listen-"

"No, you listen-" She snapped.

"You both listen." Stefan stepped in between them, pushing them both back. "We need to work together if we want this to work."

Damon stepped back, glaring at Kenzie. "My brother's right. And that also means no last minute attacks of pity for any of them." His eyes moved to Elena's, who responded with an eye roll.

"Don't worry about me, not after what happened to Bonnie's mom."

Kenzie exchanged a quick look with Stefan before they both looked away from each other.

"Barbie?" Damon asked, looking at Caroline.

"I'm ready. Anything that will free Tyler from his sire bond to Klaus."

"Bus boy?" he asked Matt.

"Do I have a choice?"

"Good point. So that leaves you, Red?" Damon turned on her and Kenzie crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'm here, I'm offering, I have a stake, so again with the go fuck yourself." She stepped back and looked at Stefan. "When you want me to distract her, call me." She turned and walked away, listening to them talk about her.

"Is she okay?" Caroline was asking. "She seems even more angry than usual, especially since she's been a little less angry than usual, if that makes any sense.

"well, Damon can't keep his hands to himself." Stefan said.

"Look, Red wants nothing to do with me so what does she even care?"

Caroline let out a soft snort. "You're so delusional Damon. Kenzie says she doesn't care but she does. It's so obvious she does, god only knows why."

"After her freak out about… the kiss…" Elena hesitantly began. "You didn't think there would be an issue if you slept with Rebekah again?"

Damon let out a sigh. "I thought we were talking about killing Original's."

Kenzie rolled her eyes and shook her head, leaving them to their plans.

… … ..

"Kenzie." Caroline yelled across the square as the redhead walked with a milkshake in her hand.

She spun around to see Caroline waving her towards her and Matt and walked over just as Elena joined them, wondering if it was weird Bonnie wasn't returning her call. Kenzie wasn't paying attention, instead staring at two people walking across the Square the opposite way. It was Finn with Sage, both oblivious to everyone around them.

"Does anyone see what I see?" Kenzie asked.

"I was just about to say something." Matt replied, looking at the couple too.

"That's Finn." Elena commented. "I thought he left town. But who's the woman with him?"

"I'll listen." Caroline told them in a hushed whisper just as Kenzie announced that it was Sage.

"Sage? Sage who?" the brunette asked her.

"That would be the 900 year old skanky ho I was referring to earlier." Kenzie replied. "Finn made her so they could be together, then he was staked and stuck in a casket so she's been roaming the world the past 900 years waiting for him. That's why she double crossed Damon when she found out about the Wickery Bridge. She knows the Original's are linked and she can't bear the thought of losing Finn after finally having him within her grasp. Ugh, being in love with someone for that long? Seriously?"

"I better call Stefan." Elena murmured, walking away as she pulled out her phone.

"How are you doing?" Caroline asked Kenzie.

"Fine." She replied.

"No, seriously, I'm worried about you Kenz."

The redhead shook her head. "Don't be. I'm fine. What about you? How are you after your Dad?" Stefan had given her the abridged version. Caroline's Father had been killed by psycho Alaric with Vampire Blood in his system and he had chosen not to carry on as a Vampire. Kenzie would have been devastated if her Father had chosen the same fate so could only imagine what the blonde was going through.

Caroline looked down, sadness filling her features. "I wish he would've just given it a chance, you know?"

"I never got a chance to tell you how sorry I am, mostly because I've been completely out of the loop but-" Kenzie stopped, words from Elena's conversation breaking though.

"What do you mean we have a problem?" Elena was saying.

"Sorry." Kenzie said with a shake of her head. "I lost my train of thought, I'm going to make sure Elena's okay." She left the two blonde's and hurried towards Elena.

"Are you sure Rebekah has Damon?" Elena was asking.

"Yes, Alaric was knocked out by Rebekah, Damon's gone, so what else could have happened?"

"Rebekah took Damon?" Kenzie interrupted them.

The brunette spun around in surprise. "Kenzie, we- we don't know, Stefan's looking-"

"Don't lie to me." Kenzie snapped. "That bitch took Damon."

"Kenzie, don't do anything stupid." Stefan yelled through the phone.

She ignored him though and ignoring Elena's protest, took off running. She didn't have a plan but she didn't care. All she cared about was getting Damon. When she was out of sight, she used her vampire speed to get to Rebekah's house and as she neared it, reached into her purse to grasp the stake when someone appeared and grabbed her, taking off at supernatural speed. She fought against them, realizing who it was but it wasn't until they were far enough away and she was put on her feet that she saw Stefan's face and she punched him as hard as possible.

"What are you doing?" She screeched. "That bitch has Damon."

"We need to stick with the plan." He reminded her.

"Yes and I was going to kill her while rescuing Damon."

"You would've given yourself away in the process and gotten yourself killed. You're a newbie, she's an original." Stefan argued.

"Then let's take her by surprise." She snapped. "we need to save Damon."

"Kenzie." Stefan yelled, grabbing her shoulders as he gave her a hard stare. "Look, when it comes to Damon, you don't think straight, you never do. But right now, I need you to think about this. We need to kill one of the Originals. They're all linked and they will all die. When they do, we will get Damon."

"But-"

He cut her off. "No but's. You know I'm right. You're only going to get yourself and Damon killed and while you don't care if you die, I know you don't want Damon to die."

She stared at him, wanting to argue but knowing he was right. Going in there would only succeed in getting both of them killed and if she didn't die, she would most definitely out herself and that could only mean trouble. Kenzie sighed, her anger deflating as she stepped back.

"You're right."

"I know. And I know you want to save my brother. You still love him."

Kenzie glared at him. "I can't make it stop. I've spent months trying and it won't stop." Her mouth turned down, her eyes going wide as unshed tears pooled in them. "Why can't I make it stop?"

He sighed. "For the same reason my brother loved Katherine for so long. For the same reason, I can't stop loving Elena even when I say I don't."

"You should quit torturing yourself and just get back together with the poor girl."

"I could say the same to you."

"Sure, just as soon as my ex and your ex stop kissing each other." She told him with a wry smile.

He let out a small chuckle. "I guess you're right." His phone beeped and he looked down at it. "we should go. Matt says Finn is in The Grill so we need to figure out what to do."

"I rip out Sage's hair and you all stake Finn." She suggested as he grabbed her hand and they ran back into the downtown section of Mystic Falls. They slowed down to a walk on the outskirts and walked towards The Grill.

"While that sounds like more fun for you, we need to really plan this out."

"Plan out what?" Elena asked, walking up to them. "Caroline is staying with Alaric."

Stefan nodded. "I stopped Kenzie, obviously and Matt says Finn is at The Grill, so we need to plan out our next move."

Elena stopped them. "Rebekah has Damon, our next move should be finding him."

"No." Stefan shook his head. "We need to stay on point. See an Original, kill an Original, that's the plan."

"Yeah, that was the plan before Damon's life was hanging in the balance." Elena turned to the little redhead. "You of all people should be all for saving Damon."

Kenzie pursed her lips, about to answer when Stefan did instead.

"Look, Elena, I understand you're concerned about my brother's life. But if he even knew for one second that we were talking about missing a chance to kill these people, he would lose his mind."

"Yeah and if the roles were reversed, he would drop everything to save you or- or to save Kenzie. How could either of you think of just leaving him there."

"I know what my brother would want."

"What he would want and what we should do are two different things." Elena argued.

Kenzie finally stepped in between them. "We will save Damon, Elena. You know that's what I care about the most. But the sooner we come up with a plan and kill an Original, the sooner we can get him back. Kill one, kill them all."

Elena stared at her in disbelief, almost like she couldn't quite believe that Kenzie wasn't currently storming the Mikaelson mansion.

"Kenzie's right." Stefan said. "So Elena, are you going to help us with this or not?"

Elena's jaw dropped as she looked between the two of them and Stefan rolled his eyes with a sigh as he pushed past her, motioning Kenzie to follow him.

"Fine, we'll figure this out on our own."

Kenzie stared up at Elena. "Nothing is more important to me than saving Damon. But right now, this is the best way I can think to do it. When you realize that, meet us at The Grill. We need everyone's help." She pushed past Elena, hurrying to catch up with Stefan.

… …

Kenzie and Stefan sat in The Grill, pretending they were there just to catch up and drink. Stefan had even made a show of compelling the bartender to let Kenzie drink and the redhead was pretending to get all drunk and giggly as they played oblivious to everyone else in the vicinity but were keeping one ear turned on Sage and Finn, the former introducing the latter to the magic of Tequila. There was a crossbow hidden for Matt to use when the time came and it was up to Kenzie to lead them out of The Grill. She was planning to use vervain and her dislike for Sage to follow the tiny, little non-threatening teen outside.

Behind them, Sage asked Matt for more tequila and he said he would tell their waitress before walking by Kenzie and Stefan's table, stopping briefly to pick up some cups. Kenzie made a show of drunkenly hugging him, slipping a bottle of vervain in his pocket as he laughed and warned Stefan to watch out for her and to limit her drinking before he walked away.

A few minutes later, the waitress was loading up the shots and Stefan gave Kenzie a meaningful look as he stood up and moved towards the bathroom. As the waitress set the shots on their table, Kenzie stood up and moved towards a side door. She heard them toasting and taking a drink before spitting it out.

"Vervain." Finn gasped.

Kenzie looked back, raising an eyebrow at Sage as the other redhead's eyes narrowed.

"That is Elijah's date, from our party. Why would she…?" Finn trailed off as he stared at her.

"We had a little run in." Sage muttered as they stood up.

The petite redhead only smirked before slipping outside, knowing they would follow her outside. She pulled her stake out of her bag just as Stefan reached her, coming around the side of the building and motioning her to be quiet. As Finn exited, Stefan rushed him, only to be blocked by Sage who slammed him into the ground. Sage yelled for Finn to grab the stake as Kenzie appeared behind her, grabbed her by the hair and threw her off of Stefan. She heard the door at the bottom of the steps open and glanced back to see Elena there, who probably changed her mind in helping, shoot a crossbow at Finn before Matt rushed forward and staked him. By this time, Sage had stood up and rushed her, sending her flying into the wall where she crumbled and slid to the ground. Sage looked around for Finn, before seeing him with a stake in his heart at the bottom of the steps. She screamed as she ran to him, crying as he slowly died. Stefan turned and rushed to Kenzie, picking her up and taking off before Sage decided to attack them.

"Are you okay.?" He asked.

"Yeah. I'll be fine in a moment. He's dead?"

Stefan grinned as he put her on the ground and they walked towards the Salvatore House. "He's dead."

She couldn't help but return the grin. "You know what that means right?"

"We're free?"

"I was going to say, it's time to go get your idiotic brother but yes, we're finally free."

"We did it." Elena squealed as she ran up to them.

"I want proof before we really celebrate." Stefan told them.

"Okay Broody Pants. Let's at least get Caroline, just in case and go get your brother and look at some Dead Originals. I'll bring the Popcorn."

Elena looked at her in disgust. "Popcorn? To look at dead bodies?"

She shrugged. "Would you like me to get marshmallows to roast over their still possibly burning bodies? We could make s'mores."

The brunette's nose wrinkled as she pushed open the door to the Salvatore house "Kenzie that's so gross."

"Hot dogs?"

"You're not making this any better."

"Hey." Caroline greeted them.

"How's Alaric?" Elena asked.

"He'll be okay. I gave him a bottle of Bonnie's herbs and he went home. Oh, did you guys kill Finn? Did it work?"

"Nothing's worked until I see Klaus' dead body myself." Stefan told her.

Kenzie rolled her eyes. "Finn was staked. Stefan is just being Broody and grrr, 'cause what else is there for Stefan to do?"

The Older vampire glared at her. As Elena's phone rang and she picked it up.

"Bonnie, where have you been?"

"Klaus has Damon." The witches voice came over the line and all three Vampires were instantly on alert although Kenzie tried to pretend she couldn't actually hear.

"Klaus should be dead. They should all be dead. We just killed Finn."

"No Elena, he forced me to do a spell that would unlink all the siblings. He's still alive."

Stefan clenched his eyes tight in frustration before opening his eyes to meet Kenzie who was trying not to panic, knowing that Damon was still being held by the very alive Original sister.

"Okay, Bonnie, where's Damon?"

"At Klaus' mansion."

"Why didn't you save him?" Kenzie yelled, forgetting that she shouldn't be able to hear the conversation. It seemed Stefan was the only one who noticed as he shot her a warning glance.

"I- I couldn't. Klaus, he- he told me that Damon was the one who turned my Mother."

Kenzie and Stefan exchanged another look and she went to open her mouth but he quickly gave his head a small shake. Kenzie pursed her lips before sighing and opening her mouth again.

"It wasn't Damon, Bonnie, I swear to you, Damon didn't kill your Mother."

She heard Bonnie let out a small sob. "He threatened Jeremy, Elena, and My mom."

"Are you okay?" elena asked.

"I don't know. I have to go. I'm sorry but I- I have to go." The witch hung up, amidst Elena's protests and the brunette slowly lowered the phone, turning to kenzie.

"How did you hear Bonnie? And how did you know Damon didn't do it."

"you must have your call volume way up." Kenzie said with a dhrug. "And I know it wasn't Damon. He said it wasn't him and it wasn't. If he did, you know Damon would openly admit it. He can't lie to me, or you, Elena. I need to go get Damon."

She turned to leave but Stefan grabbed her arm. She glared down at his hand before turning the glare up to him. "No, I stopped last time because you convinced me that we only needed to kill one. That didn't work and Damon is still there, I'm going to get him."

"I know." He replied. "I'm going with you." He looked at Elena. "Stay with Caroline. I'll call you when it's over."

They began to walk away and Elena quickly caught up with them. "No. Stop. Klaus is stronger than you. We need a new plan. One where you don't take Kenzie with you. He will kill her in a heartbeat."

"No, what we need is for Klaus to be dead." Stefan argued.

"Stefan, stop it." Elena snapped, grabbing his arm. "You're both acting on anger."

"Anger gets things done, Elena." Stefan ground out through clenched teeth.

"Or it will get you killed. It will get Kenzie killed. It will get Damon killed along with you both."

He straightened up, "Klaus does not get to survive this, not after everything he took from me" He walked out the front door, the redhead about to follow him, when Elena grabbed her arm.

"Kenzie." Elena cried.

"I will find a way to end them." The redhead snapped. "I'm going to save Damon, Elena."

Caroline joined them in the front hall, her mouth open to say something when the front door went flying open again and Stefan came stumbling through. Caroline grabbed Elena and Kenzie and pulled her back but the redhead moved away to pull a sword off the wall.

"Ding dong." Sage called, walking in after Sefan. Kenzie could only glare at her in shock, she looked sick, like she had some kind of flu and was about to keel over at anytime and she briefly wondered if that was a result of her grief.

Caroline let go of the brunette and rushed Sage who backhanded her and sent her flying.

"I'm not here for you." Sage hissed before looking down at Stefan. "I'm here for him."

Kenzie moved, standing in front of Stefan, the sword held in front of her.

"You're beginning to be a big pain in the ass." Sage snarled.

"You're looking a little rough, Skank, something happen? Oh, right… your boyfriend."

Sage growled at her and rushed her but stopped short as she let out a small gasp. She lifted a hand to her nose, coming away with blood.

"Sage?"

Kenzie looked up to see another vampire holding Elena as he watched in concern. Sage let out a small choking noise before lifting her head and seeing Kenzie there, moving towards her. She pulled back her fist to punch her and Kenzie easily ducked out of the way as the much older vampire stumbled and fell to her knees.

"Troy, help me." She called out.

The other vampire let go of Elena and rushed toward Sage. He didn't make it though, stumbling to his knees as both vampires began choking and spitting up blood. Stefan and the girls could only stand and watch in shock as Sage fell to her back, blood covering her nose and mouth.

"What's happening to me?" She gasped as both let out a couple more gasps before going still.

"She just died." Elena whispered.

Kenzie moved towards Sage, leaning over her to see she in fact looked like she had been staked but there were no wounds on her anywhere.

"What the hell was that?" She asked, straightening up.

"I don't know." Stefan muttered as he began pacing.

Elena sank down on the stairs as Caroline joined them, rubbing at her jaw. She looked at both of them before leaning against the wall.

"So both Sage and this guy die within an hour of Finn dying."

"But why?" Elena wondered. "Were they bitten by a hybrid?"

Caroline shook her head. "Hybrid bites don't look like that. Maybe Sage was just so in love with Finn, she died of sadness."

Kenzie let out a snort at that. "Is that possible? Besides why would her minion die too then?"

"It's the blood." Stefan exclaimed. "The bloodline, think about it, it has to be. Finn turned Sage, Sage turned Troy. They're all part of the same vampire bloodline that originated with Finn."

"Wait." Caroline said, trying to make sense of it all. "So when an Original dies, every vampire turned from their bloodline dies with them?"

Elena slowly stood up, looking at Stefan, who met her eyes then turned to meet Kenzie's eyes who was staring with her jaw dropped.

"Because that would mean…" Caroline trailed off unsure of how to voice what they were all thinking.

"If an Original dies, that means you guys do, too." Elena whispered, looking between Stefan and Caroline. "The entire vampire spieces would just be dead."

The youngest Salvatore looked at Kenzie again who tried to appear unaffected by this but she was a little surprised to realize that this upset her. She didn't know which Original she, Stefan, Damon, Caroline and Katherine originated from. But if they didn't know and killed the wrong sibling, they would all die too.

And Kenzie realized with a small start, she didn't want to die.

… …
