Far away, the cavernous depths of the jungle.
Eladon burrows through the muddy ground, his multiple eyes taking note of everything he passes by, his front facing mouth tasting the plants and animals that are unfortunate enough to get caught. The slick mud sticks to his sides it greasy and warm feeling makes him very uncomfortable.
Disgusting. He thinks to himself, the many different voices in his mind are drowned out by a singular thought.
This place needs to be less alive, too much unneeded thoughts.
Compared to his home, where everything is peaceful, and unified, this place is too chaotic. But if he tries to spread his mind here, Celestia would without a doubt obliterate him. He doesn't want that, especially if he wants her help. He crashes through what looks like a massive bee hive, everything orange and sticky. He continues past, getting more gross stuff on him. He much rather prefers the corruption he spreads, much more dry, and lifeless.
The ceiling breaks open, light from lava fills Eladon's eyes. He lets out a low hiss, slamming onto the moss covered floor. The rest of his wormlike body spills into the expansive cavern, he lands with a crash, coiling up. His front facing mouth, filled with thousands of revolving teeth, spilt open, Eladon speak out, the voice coming as a shivered scream.
"Ce-L-EsTi-A!"
He taken back by the botched up word, green saliva spits out onto the floor, killing any moss that touches it. He shakes his elongated head, before morphing down into his human form. His arms and legs take form, pale purple and grey skin is replaced with blue silk clothes. He reaches up his hands, messing with his top hat, the feather on the side wavers in the heat mirages of lava spilling down the nearby walls. He clears his throat, speaking out.
"Celestia, are you here!?"
Noises that Eladon has kept drowned out, buzzing of insects, shrieks of bats, and calls of strange birds, all go silent. It throws him off, but he doesn't display it. Only the noise of flowing lava, and a new one, the twisting of vines. A bat flies by overhead, making a mad dash fro the nearest hole. something sharp and fast zips through the air, impaling the flying rodent. It falters, before plummeting through the spore filled air. A plant like mouth, anchored by a mess of vines, sails out of the shadows, snatching the dying creature, and yanking it back into the darkness.
Eladon has a sense of dejá vu, he grips his shoulder. More plant like mouths launch out, some missing him by mere inches. They grip onto the terrain around Eladon, A large pink flower makes her way into the lava light. It changes shape, folding into itself, a woman is left standing, her fiber intensive clothing is a s revealing as ever. She slows her walking pace to a halt, looking over Eladon with disgust.
"World Eater, to what do I owe the intrusive pleasure?"
Her voice is always so venomous with intent, Eldaon is partly happy her true form is silent, even if it is creepy.
"Such formalities Celestia, you only need to call me Eladon."
Celestia scoffs.
"Don't act like we're friends, I still haven't forgave you for killing off my biome's inhabitants."
Eladon tries to brush off the accusation, shrugging.
"That was like, what, a thousand years ago?"
"Eight hundred and forty six."
Celesia has her arms crossed, her emotionless face is starting to twitch. Eladon cups his hands together.
"Ok, lets not reopen that argument, I'm here for a different reason."
Celestia sighs, her eyes haven't blinked yet.
"Well sorry but I'm not in the mood for chitchat, our lord just decided that we need to get chummy with a human."
Eladon wants to breathe a sigh of relief, but he waves his hand around instead.
"Thats actually why I'm here!" Eladon takes in a breath of composure, before starting his proposal.
"For a long time now, its always been four gods, no more, no less."
Celestia nods, saying nothing. Eladon continues.
"We already got rid of octopus face for the reason that he threw off the balance, there should never be five of something."
He puts one hand to his chest, tying to show off sincerity.
"I don't know if our lord had a fleeting emotion or not, but adding a new god to help us defeat Cthulhu-."
Celestia cuts Eladon off, interjecting her own comment.
"Which we don't need, we handled him fine on our own before."
Eladon stays silent for a moment, wating to see is Celestia adds anything else.
"Y-Yes, and in my opinion, its just replacing an old problem with a new one."
Eladon moves from his concern to his solution, trying hard to keep Celestia interested.
"Just think, if the new guy were to remember what we did to his world, he could easily turn into a threat instead of an ally."
Celestia gives a small nod.
"In my opinion, he's just too dangerous to be left alive, and with that terrible sword we gave him, he could easily turn that blade againt us, mabye even join Cthulhu."
Celestia join in.
"Then what do you want to do about it?"
Eladon shakes his finger, leaning in.
"I say we kill him, maybe make it look like an accident, or confront Andrew about it."
Celestia blinks for the first time.
"What about Skeletron?"
Eladon touches his chin thoughtfully, before coming with an answer.
"You know how Herald is, he wouldn't betray Andrew's wishes if it were to save his life, this is only between you and me."
Celestia looks around, the dim orange light reflecting off her fake skin.
"Im in."
Eladon is surprised, usually Celestia is much more stubborn when it comes to agreeing with him.
"Wait really?"
Celestia doesn't listen to him, she turns around, muttering to herself.
"It was a bad idea from the start, What is our lord thinking."
Eladon tries to get closer, listening in. Celestia whips around, making Eladon jump. She has on a big grin, the edges of her stretched lips are cracking open, revealing plant fibers and thorns.
"I know how we'll do it, make it look like its Cthulhu's fault."
Eladon is always being surprised, being the weakest of the gods usually leaves him out of the intelligence loop.
"You do?"
"Come with me." She says ecstatically, her arms unwinding into multiple hooked vines.
"We have a cult to visit."
She whisks away, moving way too quickly for how silent her movements are. Eladon begins to second guess himself, but she already gave the maniac an idea, no taking that back now. His legs stretch out, eyes and teeth poke out of pores. Tow long fangs stick out of his mouth. He morphs back into the Eater of Worlds, he snakes along, burrowing into the muddy wall. Then leave the heated cavern, beginning a plan, one that will split the gods, and make a rift in this unstable world.
