—The same day Katsuki went to the wrong apartment, Izumi's Perspective—

Her first day of school...not bad. She actually came back alive, and didn't get beaten up by katsuki (or is that something she had to be worried about later?).

It wasn't entirely that perfect, she had to admit that part: getting her finger injured, being placed to sit behind Katsuki because she was last to decide her seat, hiding in the bathroom stall during all her breaks from the fear the Katsuki was hunting her, and praying (yet again, desperately) to any god or divine beings that Katsuki wouldn't suddenly turn behind and blow up in front of her during class.

There was another surprise she got this morning, and that was her friend/roommate/partner in crime who wanted to be made Captain one day...out of nowhere became a U.A student!

What!?

Grey was supposed to be transferred at some Elite school again to raise his chances to become captain. Yet, instead, he got into the Hero course which...what? What was the guy thinking? More importantly, how did that guy get in? Aizawa Sensei said he got through recommendations, which is why he didn't have to take the entrance exam like she did...But if…

Her thoughts were cut off when she heard a faint sound of a guitar playing and singing as she got closer to her home.

[song name—Love you like the movies, by Anthem Lights]

"'Cause suddenly, it hits me. As I watch you make believe. I want to make this your reality."

Her eyes went wide as she shook her head incredulously.

No. No way. Not this scenario again. She quickly made her way inside and rushed upstairs. There, at the living room, Grey was lying there comfortably on the sofa, playing his guitar and singing. He noticed her presence and gave her a sweet smile that would definitely get girls screaming with their hearts popping out of their chests. He stood, and made his way to her as he kept strumming. She smiled awkwardly back at him as she folded her arms, shaking her head. He went on singing.

Grey's way of apologizing to her was this: singing a romantic/ cheesy song to her, making her favorite meals, and later making an arrangement for her to meet a famous hero. It was sweet and romantic, but...love songs out of all things to sing may be a bit too much for her to handle. She didn't love him that way, and wasn't his girlfriend to begin with.

He usually felt uneasy whenever Izumi was mad at him because of his actions, and he'd do anything to make it up to her. He called this "Plan #14:Beg for forgiveness from the Angel". Or something like that. His way of naming things, or people weren't all that great.

"Grey, I'm not mad at you," Izumi said, sighing. "You can stop now. It's pretty awkward since neither of us are even dating each other."

He stopped everything abruptly as he blinked. "Really? Whew!" He snapped his finger and tossed his guitar like a trash bag into the golden void that appeared to his right side. "And here I thought I was going to get murdered."

"Why would I murder you?"

A pause. "Wait. So you're not mad that I got into U.A without much effort? And didn't tell you about it?"

"Mad? It's more like a surprise! And I'm shocked, I thought you wanted to be made captain of the precinct! What happened to that?"

He rubbed his back, averting his eyes. "Well, I thought I could give it a shot. I mean, true being a hero not really my thing from before, but who knows? I may become the first Hero who's also a police captain."

Izumi raised her brow. Okay, it was clear that Grey didn't think this through and just wanted to attempt the Hero course for kicks.

"Who recommended you?" She asked.

"Uh, the principal, Nezu? He called me the same night you received your results. And wanted me to be in his school for some reason."

"And you accepted?"

He shrugged casually. "Apparently he threatened the school I was going to go to and got them to transfer me to U.A. So...Technically, I didn't have a choice." She gaped at him. "Look, just leave it be. It's not like it's the end of the world."

At that moment, both their phones rang at the same time.

"Seems like work is calling for us," Grey noted. "You sure you don't want to skip?"

She quickly went towards her room to change into her work clothes. "Grey, you know a dead body isn't going to solve its own murder case. That's our job."

—next day—

Izumi felt an intense chill in her spine from Katsuki's glare all morning. She wanted to run. She wanted to hide somewhere safe. He hadn't said a word to her all morning, and that didn't mean that was a good thing.

He was always angry at her. He hated her. That was nothing new. However, this...rage in his eyes, it surprised her. Normally he'd blow up whenever he's angry, but this time he's controlling his anger at her…

For what?

While Izumi thought about hiding again in the bathroom stalls during breaks, she hadn't realized that Katsuki wasn't the only boy who had his eyes on the green haired girl...

—later—

Katsuki was fired up as he grinned. "COMBAT—"

Izumi's eyes widened in horror. "—t-training?

You gotta be kidding me.

"And to go with that are these!" All Might pointed at the grey cases displayed, that had their seat number painted in green on the surface. "Costumes made based on your Quirk registration and requests you sent in before school started."

Everyone gasped in excitement.

"Costume…" she mumbled to herself, worried . "Oh boy." Was it time for that already?

"After you change, gather in Ground Beta."

"YES SIR!"

Her phone buzzed the moment everyone began to get up to pick their respective cases. She looked at her screen and huffed at the texts sent from a guy who was supposed to be studying next door.

From: Protective Stalker Grey

Costumes, huh? Nice.

Which one did you pick?

Don't tell me you chose that formal white long sleeve blouse, and black pants

I'll admit, they look hot on you.

She rolled her eyes reading that one.

From: Protective Stalker Grey

But aren't those primarily meant for work?

Also,I'm gonna have more rivals If your classmates saw you dressed all sexy.

Really? Now that smartass playboy was going to flirt through texting? She replied back as she retrieved her case from its display.

To: Protective stalker Grey

Don't worry, stalker-who's-supposed-to-be-focused-on-studying.

I'll be fine, and my costume isn't my work clothes.

Also, Promise me you won't intervene in my training this time. No matter what.

I can't learn anything if I'm going to go on being some damsel in distress.

Got it? Stop using your quirk to watch me this time.

NO MATTER WHAT!

"Excuse me," she squealed in surprise, and nearly dropped her phone to the floor after sending Grey that text. A boy with mismatched eyes and an unusual two colored hair, which was equally split in half, stood in front of her. "Are you coming? The rest of the class left."

He was right. It was only the two of them in the classroom. "Uwa! Sorry, I'll be coming." She pointed at her phone. "My worrywart friend was just...worried about me…"

...

Okay, that sounded stupid. She was making herself look like a fool, wasn't she?

The boy tilted his head. "Is your friend the same guy who used his quirk on Bakugou yesterday?" Her shoulders tensed. "I take it, I'm right judging from your reaction."

They began walking side by side as they left the classroom. "Yes," she admitted. "B-but he only used his quirk because Kacchan was the one attacking me, otherwise when it's other people he doesn't do much." Because Grey knew she would be able to handle them without a hitch.

"I see." The mysterious boy replied. He was silent for a few heartbeats, as though he was contemplating something. Then— "Your friend...Is he a U.A student?"

"Uh? Yes...He's in the next class, Class 1-B."

"So he's also in the Hero Course…" the boy muttered to himself, but Izumi heard it.

She played dumb. "Did you say something?" She asked innocently, smiling and her eyes blinking, like she was confused. Why was he interested in Grey? Was Grey the reason this guy approached her out of nowhere?

"No, it's nothing," he brushed it off. "One last thing. My...father—" he said "father" with some spite, "—told me a student with a teleport quirk got into U. A in the last minute through recommendations. He wasn't quite pleased as he claimed the boy caused some issues in the past. So," he looked at her, his expression seemed stoic and his eyes were cold.

She still wore that innocent/ confused mask, hiding the sceptical look she wanted to show. What are you getting at? What are you after? Are you accusing Grey as a Villain? What are you planning to do with the answer I give you?

Those were the kind of questions she wanted to say, however that would damage her image. She wasn't a cop right now, and this wasn't a precinct. She couldn't wear a poker face here and interrogate as there were no enemies around her. Yet… She wanted to be true to herself, and make more friends like Uraraka-San and Illda-kun. If she acted tough right now, making friends and socializing would become harder, since she missed out in all of that most of her life due to being quirkless.

True, Grey's reputation with some heroes wasn't that great because of the mistake he committed years ago, but Grey had changed back then. Izumi didn't know what this boy's deal was with Grey, but she couldn't just start making assumptions that he was going to be an enemy of her, or Grey. Yet…

"So, did the person who recommended Nakamura overlook Nakamura's actions... because he's strong?"

For now, she had to play safe…"Ah...gee...I'm not quite sure." She scratched her head. "Grey told me it was the principal who recommended him into U.A." the boy looked startled, and confused. "I doubt the two ever met in person, plus, Grey wasn't really brought to this school willingly. So…"

"Izumi-Chan!" She looked to the side and found Uraraka-San waving at her outside the entrance of the girl's changing room. "Come on!"

"Ah! Uraraka-San! Were you waiting for me?" She quickly turned her head to the boy and gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry, I gotta go. It was nice talking to you…um…"

"Todoroki Shouto," He said, finally introducing himself.

"Ah! My name's Midoriya Izumi. Let's talk again soon!" She quickly waved at him, and ran towards the brown haired girl's side.

—after changing—

Todoroki Shouto. Todoroki…Todoroki...that last name sounded familiar…

It was her mother who ordered her a jumpsuit when Izumi told her she'd gotten a quirk (out of nowhere). She was smiling brightly, and was greatly blessed when she finally could pursue her dream despite Izumi being motherless in the house for years. Midoriya Inko supported her daughter openly, and more than she ever did in the past.

Izumi pulled her hood over her head, tucking her short green curls and examined herself in front of the mirror. Hmm...the support department...what in the hell did they do?

Her green jumpsuit was loose and the pants were a bit baggy when she first tried them on. She did have the design changed slightly, and styled it to make it look less dull, (like adding the antenna atop the hood to resemble All Might's hair). Now it was like…

Despite her body being covered, her body figure was completely seen as it was skintight. A V-neck? What the heck? She never designed her costume that way? Luckily, she wore her bandages around her chest that kept the unnecessary revealing skin covered.

Izumi recalled the days where she temporarily modeled for a famous clothing brand back in middle school (she had her reasons) and the designer said her body was perfect to be a model (even though her breasts were flat...ish). It took quite a while to turn those offers down as they were persistent.

Izumi's ears turned red, she looked like one of those models wearing tight jumpsuits. Thank god she didn't wear black, and that her jumpsuit wasn't made out of leather, otherwise she was sure Grey would have a reason to be worried about her clothes.

It was hella embarrassing.

"Ah? Izumi-Chan, your costume looks so cute!" Ashido Mina praised. "Perhaps a little bold, too."

"Eh?" She blushed. "Thank you. Although, my jumpsuit ended up being a little skintight. And not really styled in a way I wanted it to be."

"Oh, I know!" Uraraka-San agreed. "The support department even made mine skintight, too! It's really embarrassing. I really like those bunny ears on your hood, Izumi-Chan!"

"Me too!" Ashido chirped.

"I think both your costumes look amazing and cute, Ashido-San, Uraraka-San!" She smiled brightly.

Hagakure Toru came into the conversation. "Your costume makes me want to take a picture. The bunny ears and tail look so cute."

"Hagakure-San, those aren't really ears and tai—" she stopped herself midway, and frowned. "Tail?" She looked behind her, and her jaws dropped.

A tail. A bunny tail. A green fluffy looking tail in the size of her fist was there, planted at the butt of her costume.

What the hell!?

"Hmm? Izumi, could it be that you weren't opting for a sexy rabbit look from the start?" Jirou Kyouka said when she noticed the flabbergasted expression Izumi had on her face.

Sexy rabbit look!? "It...it was never my intention...Wha? Why would they put that there? God this is embarrassing!"

There was a buzz from her phone.

From: Protective Stalker Grey

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. The class 1-B homeroom teacher is keeping a sharp eye on me for some reason.

I think he doesn't like , I promise not to watch or interfere in your training this luck! ;)

—Ground Beta, Todoroki's perspective—

"A rabbit," he blurted when he saw Midoriya with the other girls. She was hiding herself behind the other girl's out of embarrassment, her ears and face were scarlet.

She looked cute, like a shy rabbit.

—Katsuki's perspective—

He felt his face burning staring at the damn nerd.

Yesterday's turn of events was already too much for him to handle :finding out Deku was actually a girl, he-she had a quirk and wasn't quirkless, being told that the shitty nerd didn't live in their old apartment for years (why didn't anyone tell him?), and the villain attacked her home…

He didn't ask the old hag, or say anything to her about the Deku. He needed time to think.

He wasn't sure whether he should be pissed at Deku for tricking him, or question why he didn't know of the incident she faced when they were 7.

And now...this...

He—her costume was tight enough to see every curve and edge of her body...he gritted his teeth. The same slim body he overlooked over the years. It was clear that it had belonged to a female, yet, how did he miss—?

He looked at her chest. Did she somehow get away crossdressing because her breast's looked flat!?

When she turned her back to him as she talked to round face happily, she put the hood over her head. then noticed...the ears and tail,

"A...rabbit…" he said to himself. That nerd…wasn't planning on seducing villains was he-she?

"Oh~" his head whipped at the direction of a boy with purple ball stuff atop his head. He was ogling the sight of the girls in their costumes. "Uraraka's costumes skin tight! Nice!" He looked in Deku's direction. "A bunny," He drooled.

A vein popped. He placed his hand on the bastard's shoulder as he growled in a murderous voice, "Oi, shorty pervert. Keep your hands to yourself. Touch my pet, and I'll kill you now."

"Wha! Sorry!" he ran off.

Tch. The bastard had the nerve to stare at what was his. If there was another pervert who planned to do the same with his Izum—

A sudden pain pierced his head. He grunted as he touched his forehead, and nearly stumbled.

What the hell? What was that?

His eyes widened when he recalled his thoughts moments ago…

He...He just called Deku his "pet". He even displayed some sort of possessive behavior, and his blood boiled at the idea of someone else having eyes at what was his…

Wha...what was going on with his mind? Deku wasn't his! Disgusting! The nerd could date or be with whoever she fawking wanted to be with. It didn't matter to him…

Suddenly he recalled something the tanned skin bastard said not too long ago...

Your "Deku" is my pet~

Why...

Why did he clench his teeth instinctively, feeling pissed. Why the hell did his chest ache at the thought of the possibility that the tanned bastard could have taken something that had belonged to Katsuki?
