Richard saw a girl with a hood on with purple hair sticking out he knew it was Rachel. A smile grew on his face as he walked fast to up to her.

"Rachel!" He said excitedly trying to give her hug, but she backed away fast. She looked at Richard then closed her locker and walked away. Richard shocked by her ran after her. He grabbed her arm and turned her around. "What the hell Rachel. I haven't seen or heard from you in days and when you finally see me you just walk away. What's going on? Where have you been?" Rachel tugged her arm away from Richard be he had a firm hold and wasn't going to let go with out an explanation. "I'm not leaving till I get answers."

"Its over Richard." Was all Rachel said and in shock Richard's jaw dropped and his grip loosened. Rachel ignored Richard in all the classes they had and she avoided him during all their passing periods, and at lunch she went to the library away from her everyone.

"What's going on with Rachael?" Victor asked Richard knowing something was very wrong.

"I have no idea...She wont speak to me... She broke up with me today. That's all have heard from her all day." Richard said slamming his fists on the table and leaving the cafeteria. Richard sped walked to the library. When he got to the library he spotted Rachel alone reading a book. He stomped right up to her and snatched the book.

"Hey!" She said and Richard would of smiled and laughed at her expression but was to furious to focus on that.

"You owe me an explanation. You can break up with me and ignore and do what ever the hell you want, but you owe me an explanation that is the lest you could do." Richard demanded.

"Richard I... I..." Rachel stuttered caught off guard.

"Go on..." Richard said annoyed.

"I cant see you anymore more, I cant be with you anymore." Rachel said ashamed and looked away from him not wanting to me his eye blue eyes full of hurt.

"Did your father say something to you?" Richard asked and Rachel nodded. he noticed she still had the ring on he gave her for Christmas. Richard sighed and took a seat next to her. "You cant do that to me Rachael. You cant just disappear like that and not talk to me. You scared me, Diana, Jinx, Victor, everyone." Richard reached for her hand. "Please don't do that again." Rachel nodded agreeing with what Richard was saying. "I'm not giving up on you and we can be friends." Richard winked and Rachel let out a small laugh and blushed. "And we can sneak around your father." Richard suggested.

"I don't know." Rachel said unsure of Richard's idea.

"Okay. Okay that's fine, I don't want to do anything that could put you in danger, but let me tell you this." Richard leaned in next to Rachel's ear, "No one will ever keep me away from you." He whispered in Rachel's ear huskily making her shiver and he trailed small kisses from her ear to her lips. When Richard captured her lips Rachel gasped. Richard smiled in their kiss he missed her. After their kiss Richard smiled down at Rachel and she smiled back. "This weekend come with me to the beach. Me and you, and a cabin by the sea."

"Ill see if I can." The bell rang and Rachel gathered her stuff and left for her class, but turned to Richard before she left. "I'm sorry I made you and Diana worry, it's just that my father..." Richard put up a hand to stop her.

"I know Rachel, I know."

"I'm sorry, but I did miss you, not seeing or talking to you." Rachael walked back up to him and stood on her tippee toes to kissed him softly on the lips. "Ill see you later Richard." As Richard saw her leave he could still tell she was still scared and unsure.

When Rachel got home from school there was a note from her father that said he would be gone till next week for business reasons. Rachel rolled her eyes. She knew he was really out doing some kind of illegal activity. With the house to herself she called Richard and told her that she would go to the beach with him. Richard was excited to say the least to spend the weekend with just him and Rachael. Diana was glad to hear the Rachel was okay and so was everyone else.

With Rachel's dad gone for the week she was finally starting to let loose and enjoy herself. She had sleepovers at Jinx's, she would go to Richard's to talk to Diana, about plans for their next shopping trip. Richard would smile whenever he saw Rachel walk through the door to his house seeing her in a safe happy place.

"So how is it now that your dad isn't home." Richard asked as Rachel leaned her head on his shoulder while they watched the movie.

"It not as scary to go home again. Sometimes I never want to go home when he's there."

"You know it doesnt have to be like that, all you have to do is tell the police or even our principle. They all want to help."

"I don't need their help." Rachel grumbled and Richard rolled his eyes, "Anyway I found away to get through the pain."

"What?" Richard asked.

"Oh its nothing." Rachel said not wanting to explain to Richard and then having to hear a lecture from him later.

When Friday finally came around after school Richard was looking for Rachel so they could leave to the beach house. When he finally he spotted her he saw Jinx scolding Rachel.

"What are those two arguing about?" Victor asked coming up to Richard.

"I have no idea." Richard said watching Rachel shake her head and crossing her arms, frustrated with Jinx. Richard left a confused Victor and walked up to the two girls. "What's going on ladies?" Richard asked putting a hand being Rachel's back pulling her close in protective manner, but looked at Jinx for answers.

"Oh I just telling Rachel how she needs to tell you that she is..." Jinx said but was cut off.

"That she is super excited for our trip." Rachel said fast interrupting Jinx. Richard looked down at Rachel questionably and then turned to Jinx who was shaking her head in disappointment. "We should be going... Right Richard?" Rachel suggested nudging Richard trying to leave before Jinx said what she did not want Richard to find out.

"Alright, lets go. Ill talk to you later Jinx." Richard said and Jinx nodded. Richard guided Rachel to the car. Richard held Rachel's hand the whole car ride excited for their trip, but he knew she was hiding something, but what? It left Richard unsettled and he was going to find out what the problem was.
