Chapter 79: Hinata's Jealous! The Council Meeting!
(Konoha- With Sakura)
Next morning, Sakura woke up, and yawned tiredly. It was 6:30 A.M. right now. She stretched out before getting up. She looked around her. It was her room. She remembered that she came back to Element yesterday. She should be used to it sooner. It's now her second day of being here on Element. Yesterday was really a busy day. Naruto, Sasuke, and she had to fight Kakashi in order to test their Chakra strength.
She frowned. Last night was not a great night date. The ANBU took Naruto away from her for no reason. She thought it would be great date, but she was so wrong. She wondered what Naruto's doing right now.
First thing to do she should go to see Hokage, and demand her why Naruto was taken by the ANBU. Of course, as usual, she had to eat a breakfast before leaving the house. After she had eaten her breakfast, she walked on way to the Hokage Mansion.
Before entering the Hokage Mansion, she heard the voice yelled, "Sakura, what're you doing?"
Sakura snapped her head around, and sighed sadly, "Sasuke… I'm going to see Hokage-sama…"
Sasuke could tell that she was upset, but he was not sure why. He thought maybe Naruto did do something bad to her. "For what? I assume you're not here to see her for the training."
"Naruto's taken by the ANBU, and is now locked in the jail," replied Sakura sadly.
Sasuke widened his eyes, and shocked, "What?! Why?"
Sakura shrugged, "That's why I am going to talk to Hokage-sama. Maybe she will answer us why Naruto's being locked in the cell."
Sasuke nodded, "Let's go. We're going to see Hokage right now."
"Eh? You're going too? I thought you're going to train with Kakashi-sensei?" confused Sakura.
"It doesn't matter. He will be late anyways," replied Sasuke.
Sakura nodded, "Right…" With that, they went into Hokage Mansion and climbed up to the upstairs to see her. Sakura knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
Sakura leisurely opened the door, and spotted Tsunade on the chair next to her desk. Tsunade did not expect, of all people, Sakura and Sasuke to come in her room in the early morning. She only assumed that they were going to see her for some reason.
"Sakura… Sasuke… What're you doing here? Your training hasn't start until around 9 o'clock in the morning," wondered Tsunade.
"Last night, your ANBU took Naruto, and threw him in the cell! Why would you do to him?!" asked Sakura angrily.
Tsunade widened her eyes, and was in quite shocked. "What?! He was taken by an ANBU, you say?!"
"What're you talking about? You ordered them, didn't you?" asked Sasuke skeptically.
Tsunade could not believe that Naruto was taken away at the time like that! She could only assume who would have done such to him! She snarled, "That rotten bastard!" Sakura and Sasuke were confused at her comment. She stood up, and clenched her fists with all of her anger.
"Hokage-sama?" worried Sakura.
"Dammit! It must been Danzou's doing!" Tsunade muttered to herself. She looked at them, and could tell that Sakura was very worried about Naruto. She could also tell that Sasuke was very confused. She assumed that he caught what she just said something about Danzou. She sighed, "Don't worry. We already have a plan, so don't worry. I'm going to the meeting. It's about Naruto." She patted on Sakura's head, and smiled at her.
Sakura nodded, "R-Right…" She smiled a little, but still worried about Naruto. She still did not know why Naruto was arrested by the ANBU. She still wanted to find out what's going on. Once she began her training, she would ask Tsunade about Naruto's situation anyways.
"Good… I will see you after the meeting, Sakura. I will call you when the meeting is done," said Tsunade. With that, she left the room for the meeting.
Both Sasuke and Sakura were wondering what's going on with Naruto during the meeting. They just wanted to know, but they will find out eventually. They hoped that they would not do anything terrible to Naruto. They already knew how Naruto must be feeling right now. They remembered the day when he told everything to them about himself. He explained to them why anyone gave Naruto a hateful glare. It was all because of Kyuubi inside him.
Sasuke could tell that Sakura was very upset with that. He sighed, "Sakura… Naruto will be fine. I'm sure of it. Remember what he said to us before we arrive here?"
Sakura nodded. She certainly remembered what Naruto said that to them in the spaceship.
(Flashback Began)
Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura were training in the same gravity room. They only just left Earth two hours ago. They decided it would be best time for them to warm up with 10x gravity before they could advance to 20x gravity. They trained for hours and hours. There was no talking at all. There was a silence between them for hours and hours. They simply warmed up for hours and hours.
Finally, Sakura was the one who broke the silence between them. She looked at Naruto with the sad face, and frowned, "Naruto-kun…"
Naruto and Sasuke stopped warming up, and looked at her sad face. They were not sure why she was sad. They were waiting for her to say something. She did not say a word for a while. They assumed she could not say what she wanted to.
Naruto could not wait for her to say something; otherwise, it would be too long for her to say a single word to him. "What is it, Sakura-chan? Is there something you want to say something to me?"
Sakura finally spoke the words! "Well… umm… When we come back to our planet… What if…" She frowned, "…What if they already declared you as a missing-nin, and decided to execute you because you're the vessel of the Kyuubi?"
Naruto and Sasuke were surprised that Sakura actually asked him about 'what if'. Sakura rarely said 'what if…' It was not really her thing after all. Only few times she would say 'what if…' when she was actually anxious about something.
Sakura had her points. Naruto would hate to go back to Element only to be jeered by the disgusted villagers. True to his feelings, he already hated them. He hated Konoha villagers, but he refused to give up on them. Once he became Hokage, they would require acknowledging him no matter what! They would not hate him forever! But he just realized that she just stated the possibility of him being Missing-Nin. He had to think about it. What if they would declare him as Missing-Nin, and had to execute him just because he's the Kyuubi's container?
Naruto looked at Sasuke's face. It seemed that Sasuke was really curious about his answers. Same goes for Sakura. He smiled kindly, "Don't worry. If I'm already Missing-Nin, they would have to kill me on spot right? There's no way they can kill me on spot, because we're too strong for them. So once we know that I'm already Missing-Nin… We have three options…
"Option A: I would have to leave Konohagakure, and travel all over on Element. You could be either Missing-Nin already, or not. If you are not Missing-Nin, it's up to you going with me. We could always prove to them that we would be great Ninja! We could prove to them that I am not the Kyuubi! We could prove that I would be great Hokage! When we do, we can come back to Konoha! They will realize that they could not kill us on the spot because we're too strong for them sooner or later!
"Option B: Stay in Konohagakure, and they would make an attempt to assassinate me, probably you if you guys are still on my side… They would always fail their attempt, because we are also too strong for them. If I'm already Missing-Nin, I would not have to leave the Konoha. Refusal is always my thing after all. I want to become the Hokage no matter what! While we're at it, we could prove to them that we're great team! Even as missing-nin, we could prove to Hokage by doing the mission that they would assign us! Once we proved to Konohagakure, they would no longer consider us as missing-nin. They would have to clear our name which would be great assets to us.
"Option C: We go back to Earth, depends on my decision. If it would not go the way I always wanted, I would probably make a decision and go back to Earth. However, it would be most unlikely for us to go back to Earth anyways. I'm not that type of man who would give up. I can't give up, not especially after I announced that I'm going to be Hokage someday! So the high chances of these option would be Option A and B."
Sakura frowned. Her only hope was that they would not declare him as Missing-Nin just because he's the container of the Kyuubi. Every time she heard Naruto's story, she was really disgusted with the villagers. She could never understand why Naruto could not hate them, and possibly destroy them for being ignorant! It's something that Sasuke would do if he was the vessel of the Kyuubi after all.
Sasuke, however, was not satisfied with Naruto's options. His options were very stupid after all. He growled, "No… I'd say we should destroy the village!" Sakura stared in shock at him, and Naruto glared at him. "What? If I was you… If I was the vessel of the Kyuubi instead of you… If they would do the same thing to me what they did to you… I would destroy the village when I gain enough powers!"
Naruto folded his arms, and nodded, "True… I was almost like that once…" Sasuke and Sakura widened their eyes in shocked! They did not know that Naruto was almost like that once before! What in the past they did not know about him? "I've been a victim of child abuse. I've been a victim of kidnapping. I've been a victim of attempted murdered. I've been victim of being tortured. Even I was a victim of attempted homicide. They even destroyed my apartment! A lot of stuff I've been through in my hard life. I suffered a lot of pain inside me. I also experienced near-death. Most of adult villagers looked at me with their hateful glare. They were ungrateful with me because they thought I was the Kyuubi itself.
"Sasuke, you probably know what I've been through. You were one of being victims during Uchiha Clan Massacre…If you know what I've been through; you must have understood me how I felt." Sasuke nodded, and knew that Naruto was right. They were almost similar in some ways. They had been through a lot of these situations. "Anyways, after experienced through all of these situations, I actually considered to kill corrupted villages. I actually considered to leave Konohogakure. My hatred started to get worse and worse. I guess I hated them so bad because no one was there for me. Even I thought Hokage and Iruka-sensei were not there for me. I thought they hated me too. I thought they wanted me to die.
"But I choose to ignore them. I decided that I should pull more pranks on Konohogakure in order to relieve my hatred. Otherwise, I would have gone insane. That means you would probably hate me, and even scared of me." Sasuke scoffed at that last part.
"I pranked them most of times, so I could be happy-go-luck kid. Well, that is until graduation exam. You remembered when I failed to pass Graduation Exam?" Sasuke and Sakura nodded remembering that he was horrible back then. "I was very upset that I could not pass. I was really horrible. I thought I would never be able to become ninja. I started to lose my hope. I was going to quit on my dream. I thought my dream was just a worthless. But someone just got my hope up. You remembered Mizuki?" Sasuke and Sakura nodded again.
Naruto continued, "Mizuki secretly instructed me if I steal forbidden scroll, and learn few jutsu, then I would be able to pass and become Ninja. Indeed, I was too foolish to believe in him! I thought I would be able to pass if I can perform that jutsu from the forbidden scroll. Then Iruka jumped in front of me and yell at me how foolish I was because I believed in Mizuki. Suddenly, Mizuki attacked us and told me to give him a scroll. I was not sure who I should believe in. Mizuki or Iruka? Iruka told me not to give him a scroll. Suddenly, Mizuki told me everything about me as the vessel of the Kyuubi. He told me that Iruka hated me whom I considered a closest friend I ever had! I was upset with him, so I ran away… Then, it hit me big times, and it changed me a lot! Iruka actually considered me as one of best student he ever had!' He smiled softly, "He recognized me as myself, but not the Kyuubi itself. He changed me, and I even cried that times!"
Sakura smiled, and was glad that her boyfriend even had a people that would be there for him. She was also glad that Sasuke and she were there for him, too. She believed that Team 7 was the best team ever of all Konoha teams! No one could ever sewer their bonds!
Naruto grinned, "Even though I hated them, I will always work harder to make them acknowledge me, and recognize me as Uzumaki Naruto, but not the Kyuubi itself! That's why…" He pointed his thumb at himself, and widened his grin even more. "That's why I'm going to be Hokage someday!"
Sasuke began to smile at Naruto, and never cease to be so amazed by Naruto's declaration! Once Naruto said that, he would not go back on his word! That's why Sasuke started to consider Naruto as his rival!
(Flashback Ended)
Sakura nodded. She remembered what Naruto told them about the option as well as his own story. Now since she found out that Naruto was arrested, she could only assume that Naruto was already declared as Missing-Nin. Option C was no longer an option because they found out that Coola and others here. Neither was Option A. They could not leave Konohagakure, or Coola would destroy them without having Naruto, Sasuke, and her here. So only Option B remained here.
"At least, Hokage doesn't sound like she hated Naruto. It sounds like she doesn't want Naruto to be executed or something. She said something about plan recently," said Sasuke.
"You're right. But I hope Naruto will be all right," said Sakura hopefully. She looked around and smiled at him.
Sasuke shrugged, "He will be fine. Anyways, I was going to talk to you for something else. I won't be here for a while. I'm going to be away from Konoha to train with Kakashi. At least until I will complete the training or Coola gets here… That means you and Naruto will not be able to see me."
Sakura was disappointed that she would not be able to see Sasuke, too. Naruto and she would miss him for a while. They probably would not be able to see him for a long time. She smiled sadly, "I guess we will miss you. So until then, please don't overdo yourself during your training."
Sasuke scoffed, "I will be fine. I'm a member of Uchiha clan after all. Until then, see you later." With that, he left her alone in the room for his first day of training with Kakashi outside of Konoha.
Sakura did not know what to do without Naruto, so she decided to walk aimlessly around the Konoha until Tsunade called her again.
(Konoha Council Meeting Room)
Every seat reversed for every clan such as Aburame, Akimichi, Hyuuga, Inuzuka, Nara, Sarutobi, Shimura and Yamanaka. The seats also reversed for non-clan such as Council and the Hokage. Each head of clan sat on their reversed seats. Aburame Shibi, Akimichi Choza, Hyuga Hiashi, Inuzuka Tsume, Nara Shikaku, Sarutobi Hiruzen, and Yamanaka Inoichi were the head of their own clan. However, one clan was missing, and it was Shimura Danzou. Tsunade, the current Hokage, also sat between two most important council, Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu. They were waiting for Danzou to arrive here.
It was only for a few minutes until Danzou finally arrived. Well, at least he was on time. However, he was not alone that entered the Council Meeting Room. He also had his two men who dragged Naruto in shackled chain. They thought he was very dangerous, therefore, he must be shackled in chain. They were wrong because Naruto was very calm. There was a mixed reaction to Naruto being chained. Some people glared at Danzou, especially Tsunade. Some people were glad that Naruto was being captured. They thought he would not be deserved to live anymore.
Tsunade snarled, "You bastard! I knew it! It was your doing?!"
Hiruzen also glared at Danzou, and asked, "I thought you disbanded your Root Ninja?" Danzou said nothing, but sat on his reversed seat next between Sarutobi and Yamanaka's head clan.
Tsunade really wanted to beat Danzou so badly, but he could not do that in front of everyone here. She muttered 'bastard' or something about Danzou.
Homura then stood up, and announced, "We will began with the voting whether or not to execute him. Please vote yes if you want him to be put in execution. Please vote no if you don't want him to be put in execution. We now call for the vote to take place. The vote will be in random order, as determined by draw. However, before I can pick up the sheet, I would like to be the first to vote. I vote yes. Yes- 1, No- 0…" He reached into a box next to him, and scrambled a piece of paper. Naruto groaned…
(With Sakura)
Sakura randomly walked everywhere in Konoha. She was so lost in her thought about her beloved Uzumaki Naruto. 'What will they do with Naruto? Will they execute him because he's the Kyuubi? Nah, he won't be killed very easily! He's too strong for them! But I am more concern if someone would find out the weakness of Ki. Would they create stuff like that resists Chakra, so he could not use Ki? Oh, I hope not!'
Suddenly, the voice yelled, "Sakura!" Sakura looked around, and the voice was Ino. Ino smiled, "Finally, I've been looking for you, and here you are!"
"Ino," greeted Sakura. She had no idea Ino, of all people, would see her at the place like that. She wondered where she was at right now.
"Huh? Where's Sasuke and Naruto?" asked Ino.
Sakura frowned at the mention of Naruto, and sighed, "He was taken by the ANBU, and they were planning to execute him or something. And Sasuke's training with Kakashi-sensei right now."
Ino widened her eyes, and shocked, "What?! Naruto's taken by the ANBU?! Why?!"
Sakura frowned, "I can't tell you why… It was the reason…"
Ino nodded, "You don't have to. We already knew the reason…"
"What?!" surprised Sakura.
Ino shrugged, "We already knew that Yondaime Hokage was sealed the Kyuubi into Naruto. It didn't take Shikamaru long time to figure out. He figured it out, and told Chouji and me after we were reformed together as team. Only Shikamaru, Chouji and I knew about that in all of Konoha Nine."
"Konoha Nine?" confused Sakura
Ino smiled proudly, "Well, it's long story anyways. Konoha Nine is consisted of Team 8, Team 10, and Team Gai. We created the team after your team's disappearance…"
"Speaking of Team Gai, I haven't seen Lee and others for a while. Where are they?"
"Oh, about that… They have their long mission. It is one-year mission, so they were sent to Sunagakure for specific mission. It's long story too… They should come back three weeks from now…"
"Oh, I see. Anyways, what do you want?"
Ino grinned, "Well, Shikamaru wanted to invite you to our breakfast. Do you want to come? Oh, and we will tell you the long story you want to know so much!" Sakura immediately accepted Ino's offer, and walked with her to the breakfast restaurant. Sakura just saw Shikamaru, Chouji, Hinata, Kiba, and Shino next to the dining table. They also took a seat. Ino sat next to Shikamaru, while Sakura sat next to Hinata. Sakura felt uncomfortable when she just realized that Hinata glared at her for some reason, but she ignored it.
Nevertheless, Sakrua was glad that she finally got to meet her friends again. She was glad that she got to see them again! She was so glad to see Hinata as well, but she had no idea why Hinata glared at her. She assumed it had to do with Naruto-kun.
Kiba checked her out, and whistled like a wolf, which led his dog, Akamaru, to bark happily. "Geez, we haven't seen you in two years, and you're so hot already! Naruto's so lucky to have you!" Sakura blushed in embarrassment. Hinata growled even more. What was Hinata's problem anyways? Kiba complimented her appearance, and Hinata was already jealous of her.
Ino slapped Kiba behind his head. Kiba clasped his back head in the pain and groaned at her. "You can't compliment her! She had her 'Naruto'!" Suddenly, she clapped her hand with her excitement. "That means Sasuke's mine!" Sakura shook her head and chuckled at her best friend and former rivalry. She knew that Ino still wanted to date Sasuke anyways.
At her annoyance, she had no idea why Hinata continued to growl every time Naruto was mentioned. One more growl from Hinata, and Sakura would have to ask her to stop doing that.
Shino was too quiet as usual. Kiba always complimented every girl she saw! He was ladies-man after all! Ino always obsessed with Sasuke all the times. Hinata kept growling at Sakura just because she's dating Naruto right now.
Shikamaru sighed, "Troublesome..." He did not want to say anything right now. He only invited Sakura for the reunion. Naruto and Sasuke were supposed to be here, but they were not here. Oh, well. It's no big deal because at least Sakura was here anyways.
Ino smiled cheerfully at Sakura. "C'mon! Tell me all about Naruto! Tell me how's going on with him? Are you dating him well? Is he good at kissing? Did he do 'stuff' to you?"
Sakura's face had gotten redder and redder even more. She even blushed in front of everyone in the same dining table! Ino asked too much about Naruto. She knew that Ino never loved Naruto. Ino only loved Sasuke, and yet she asked too many question about Naruto! She blushed more when Ino asked her if Naruto was doing some 'stuff' to her. She knew what Ino meant anyways.
Once again, Hinata growled!
Much to her annoyance, Sakura had an enough with Hinata's growling, and glared at her. "Would you quit growling at me so much?! It's annoying! What's wrong with you?!"
Hinata glared at Sakura, and scowled, "You're dating Naruto, and that's what! Someone like you doesn't deserve to date my Naruto-kun!"
Sakura growled, "What?!" How dare someone like Hinata said like that to her face?! Then again, since when Hinata was jealous and bitchy girl? She remembered who Hinata was. She remembered when Hinata was very shy, and friendly girl. Now Hinata changed from shy and friendly girl to jealous and bitchy girl. "What do you mean I don't deserve him?!"
"That's right! You don't deserve to be with him! You've constantly been hitting him for no particular reason! Even although he's your boyfriend, you still hit him in the hospital! For someone like you who always abuse his boyfriend doesn't deserve to date Naruto-kun! I don't understand how he could accept you as his girlfriend if you continue to hit him like that! What have I done? That's right! I've done nothing wrong to him! I always cared about him! I always cheered him up! I always looked after him! I never once even hit him at all! That's why I'm deserved to be his!"
"What're you talking about?! I've always been there for him! You don't know anything about me! You did not know what happened to us during those two-years! I hit him because I cared about him! I don't want him to be an idiot so he might end up pissing someone and died! He even died twice because he did do his foolish action! I cried those times, because he died twice! He pissed two people so enough for them to kill him! He was lucky to be brought back to life twice! That's why I don't want him to die! That's why I don't want him to be stupid! I still love him regardless of his current personality!"
Kiba, Shino, Ino and Shikamaru were at disbelief at Sakura's story. They immediately believed her story since she was really serious about that. Even though they wondered how Naruto managed to be brought back to life twice, they still believed in her. It was not acting. Unfortunately, Hinata did not believe in her story.
Hinata scoffed, "Why should I believe in your story? There's no such as resurrection in reality. Naruto never died! He would not be here if he died! I could not believe you would say such as that! There's proof that you wanted him to die, so you could be with 'Emo King'!" She did not want to be in the same place as Sakura anymore, so she decided to walk away on them. However, before she could leave the restaurant, she could heard that Sakura clenched her fist. She stopped walking, and chuckled, "Thought about fighting me right here? Have you forgotten that I'm heiress of Hyuuga Clan? That means I'm stronger than all of members in Konoha Nine, included you!" Out of her anger, she left the restaurant, which led Kiba to talk to her for a while. It seemed that Hinata rejected Kiba for some reason. Kiba was upset about that, and returned to restaurant.
Glaring at Kiba, Sakura folded her arms, and growled, "What's her problem?! She is not Hinata I used to know!" Suddenly, Kiba, Shikamaru, Chouji, and Ino frowned. Even Akamaru whimpered sadly. Shino remained emotionless. Well, you cannot see his face because his coats and sunglasses hid his face very well.
Finally, the waitress delivered beautiful breakfast, included BBQ roasts. Obviously, that was for Chouji whom was very excited about that. "Here's your food you ordered!" She placed every foods on each of them. She also placed the food dish next to the missing seat where Hinata formerly sat on, not knowing that Hinata left the restaurant.
Chouji cheered, "Foods!" He immediately chowed his meats impolitely. Sakura noted that Yajirobe and Chouji were almost like brothers. She wondered if they would meet each other sooner.
Back to the topic, Sakura still noticed that Kiba, Akamaru, Shikamaru and Ino were still upset about that. Chouji was not upset anymore because he immediately dismissed that feeling as soon as he saw his favorite foods. She ate some of her foods, and decided to ask. "What's going on? There's something wrong about Hinata?"
Kiba sighed, "Well… Umm…" Shikamaru did not want to explain anything because it's too troublesome to explain a bothersome to Sakura. Kiba could not pick up where he could explain. While they were going to explain to him, they would ate their foods and explained the story at the same time.
Ino sighed, "Actually, she's not only one who changed. We changed… After we've been advanced to the tournament, we did not see you and your team there. When we realized you were not there, we started to feel paranoia. We thought you would be killed on spot. I unconditionally accused Naruto of that. I thought he was responsible for Sasuke and your death. But that's not the point. We fought harder in the Chuunin Exam. Some of us passed the preliminaries, so we could be advanced to the tournament. We spoke to Hokage of your team's whereabouts after the preliminaries. He told all of us about his three possible theories…" She could not pick up the next line where she should say.
Shikamaru decided to pick up the next line where Ino left off, and sighed, "He had some theory about Team 7's deaths. Pretty much most of us rookies were in shocked. Truth be told, Hinata was in shocked the most, and claimed that Naruto did not die at all. I guess you could say she changed the most out all of us. Hinata was pretty much upset about Naruto's death. Ino was pretty upset because Sasuke and you 'died'. Chouji really missed Naruto, because we were friends. Kiba was also upset that his 'rival' was gone. I was upset, too. However, I did not think that third theory would be true. I secretly told Chouji and Ino that I believed you guys did not die. I believed you guys did not die. I went for first and second theories. I did not think there's possible of you guys being death after all. It's so troublesome to ever think about Team 7's possible death."
Kiba finally found what to say about Hinata, and sighed, "After finding out about your Team… Each day has passed and passed, Hinata started to change a lot. She was going to fight Neji in the Chuunin Exam where spectators would be watching. She was given a one-month to prepare for it. She demanded Shino and me to train her, so we did. We trained together every day. However, she almost killed us on occasion because she was very upset about Naruto's possible death. We're lucky to be alive because Kurenai-sensei intervened to stop her from killing us." Sakura widened her eyes, and was in shocked to hear such news!
Shino nodded and simply said, "She almost killed us. Why? Because she was on verge of rage at that moment."
Ino continued, "She asked her father to train her like she meant it, so he did. He trained her harder so she could be stronger and defeated Neji in the tournament. Well, she did really beat Neji in the tournament. She fought Neji harder! Neji and she even nearly killed each other! Well, then some monster has gone berserk during that tournament anyways. We desperately fought him together, and thus Konoha 9 was born! We saved the Konoha against some monster freaky, all because Hinata told us to work together as team, so we could win. At least, there's some positive about her."
Sakura frowned, "I see… That's why she was like this. Apparently, she was happy to see Naruto again, but she was jealous of me dating him like that. I can see the reason although. But she has to accept harder that Naruto's my boyfriend." Everyone suddenly went into silence mode for a while, and slowly eating the foods except for Kiba and Chouji. Something appeared on her mind, and looked at Ino. "Speaking of Chuunin Exam, can you tell me what's going on since we disappeared?" Before Ino could explain the entire story to her, Sakura's name was called.
Sakura looked around, and spotted Shizune that carried the pig as usual. "Hokage-dono is here to see you, and it's urgent…" Shizune said with the sad face.
Sakura was confused why Shizune was sad, but she assumed it had to do something with Naruto. She looked back at her friends, and sighed, "I better go. Hokage-sama called for me, so I have to go. Thank you for inviting me, Shikamaru and Ino."
Ino nodded, "Oh, no problem! We will tell you what happened during the Chuunin Exam later. See you later." Sakura nodded and waved good-bye to them cheerfully. Then she left along with Shizune to see Hokage.
(Later)
Shizune opened the door for Sakura to enter. Tsunade already sat on the chair next to her desk, of course. Sakura assumed the meeting was over. She noticed the frown all over on Tsunade's face. "Hokage-sama! What's going on with Naruto-kun?! Is Naruto-kun okay?!"
Tsunade frowned, "I'm afraid that Naruto will be executed by tomorrow."
Sakura widened her eyes, and cried, "Why?! Why is he going to be executed?!"
Tsunade sighed, "Because we were outnumbered by the voting…"
(Flashback Began)
Koharu finally picked up the sheet from the box, and unfolded it. He took a look at the clan name, and announced, "Mitokado Homura"
"I vote yes," declared Homura. Naruto groaned again. Tsunade scowled. She knew that Homura and Koharu would vote yes on that.
Koharu acknowledged her voting, and nodded, "Yes- 2, No- 0… Shikaku Nara?"
Shikaku stood up and sighed, "It might be troublesome to say this, but I'm going to be blunt with you. You guys are an idiot! Naruto is not the Kyuubi itself, but we recognize him as Uzumaki Naruto! He's also one of our ninja, and his missing in action was not to be blame for that! So I vote no!" Naruto was shocked that Shikaku voted for no! He was so glad that some of people was actually there for him! He smiled happily.
Koharu growled, "Yes- 2, No- 1… Aburame Shibi?"
"I vote yes," Shibi simply said, and went back to his seat. Naruto groaned. In fact, he did not care if he was going to win or lose. He knew he would not be executed anyways.
Koharu was relieved that some clan like Aburame would vote yes. Aburame was very loyal to council after all. "Yes- 3, No- 1… Inuzuka Tsume?"
"He's the monster! He's demon! He should not deserve to live! I vote yes!" declared Tsume. Well, apparently, whole 'demon' or 'monster' Naruto was actually offended by that. He glared at her, and actually snarled at her.
"Yes- 4, No-1… Hokage-sama?"
Tsunade stood up, and declared, "What do you think? Of course, I'm going to vote no on that! Because he's going to be Hokage soon, even if I met him yesterday! If anyone is going to be Hokage, it's him!" She smiled and was so proud of what she just said.
"Yes- 4, No- 2… Akimichi Choza?"
Choza stood up, and smiled, "In fact, I know him for long times since he became friend with my son, Chouji. He's really nice guy, and I vote no on that!"
Koharu growled, "Yes- 4, No- 3… It's tied right now…" He picked up the sheet, and immediately smiled happily. "Yamanaka Inoichi!" He always had been known Inoichi for long times. He knew Inoichi hated the Kyuubi so much. That would mean Inoichi also hated Naruto!
Inoichi stood up, and surprised everyone when he declared the voting. "After mind-walking Naruto, I began to understand him. I began to realize that he was not the Kyuubi. I recognized him as the Kyuubi no longer! I recognize him as Uzumaki Naruto right now! I vote no!"Shikaku and Choja were so proud of him because their teammates also were on the same side right now. Danzou, Koharu, and Homuar were in shocked that Inoichi vote no! Naruto and Tsunade grinned at the voting.
"Yes- 4, No- 4… Shimura Danzou?"
Of course, everyone knew what Danzou's voting would be. Tsunade and Naruto glared at him almost as if they hated him already.
"Obviously, I vote yes!" said Danzou.
Koharu smirked, "Yes- 5, No- 4… Sarutobi Hiruzen?"
Of course, everyone knew what Hiruzen's voting would be. Koharu, Homura, and Danzou glared at Hiruzen almost as if they hated him already.
Hirzuen puffed the smoke out of his mouth, and chuckled lightly, "Naruto is truly honorable ninja in this village. He also inherited the will of fire! In honor of late Yondaime Hokage, I will vote no!" Naruto, Tsunade, and council members who voted no on that cheered on Hirzuen!
"Yes- 5, No- 5…" Finally, Koharu reached for the last piece of sheet, and picked it up. Obviously the last person would go to… "Hyuuga Hiashi!"
Hiashi stood up, and smirked, "He had done so many dishonorable to Konohagakure! He pranked on Hyuuga compounds. He pranked on Hokage and everyone in this village. He even stole the scroll of forbidden three years ago! Not to mention he forced his two teammates, Uchiha Sasuke, and Haruno Sakura, to leave with him for two years." Tsunade, Hirzuen and Naruto frowned. They had no idea where he got that idea coming from! "I vote yes!"
Tsunade, Hirzuen, Naruto, and even all of members who vote no on that were upset that the execution voting won!
Tsunade snarled, "This is madness!"
Koharu nodded, "Since majority of vote is to execute Naruto. We have scheduled to execute Naruto by tomorrow! Do you have any question?" Tsunade glared at them, and did not say anything. "Then the meeting is dismissed!"
(Flashback Ended)
Tsunade frowned, "I'm sorry. I tried my best to protect him, but I could not do anything." Sakura frowned. She assumed that Sakura was really upset. Well, Sakura was upset. Yes. But she did not know that Sakura was relieved that Naruto was too strong for them to execute him anyways. "However, we do provide for a certain person to visit him. Would you like to be the first one to visit him? He's in jail right now." Sakura simply nodded. "All right… Follow me."
She led Sakura all the way to Naruto where he was captured in the underground jail. They were stopped by the guards. "We're here to visit Naruto." The door guard acknowledged their request, and asked them to follow the guard. However, other guards immediately came to him in panicked.
"N-Naruto's gone!" cried the random guard!
The door guard shocked, "What?! What do you mean he's gone?!"
"He's not in the jail anymore!" repeated the random guard!
Tsunade and Sakura were in shocked, and rushed to Naruto's cell, only to see him to be missing from it! Sakura could not believe it! "Naruto-kun?! He's gone! Where did he go?!"
For some reason, Tsunade began to smirk, and gloated, "Good! Our plan is successful!"
Sakura looked up at Tsunade and confused, "Successful? What do you mean your plan is successful?"

A/N: Just let you know that chapter 81 will be all about Freez and others from on now... Yes, Sakura will get some scene time from Chapter 81 and chapters after that. However, you won't get to see Naruto and Sasuke for a while until then... After all, this Arc is very long Arc anyways.
Don't forget that Chapter 80 will be special chapter about Goku... It's going to be 10k words or more. I'm sure you will be happy to see Goku again. Yes? Good! No? Aww, I guess you hate Goku then. :)...
Anyways, what happened in this story? Where did Naruto go? Now, Sasuke's training with Kakashi has begun! Sakura's training with Tsunade is about to begin! Where the hell did Naruto go?! Well, it will be declared in later chapters... You will have to wait and see where Naruto went?! :D
