Chapter 92: Hinata's Plan!
(Sakura's House- Konohagakure)
Gohan, Kuririn, Bulma, and Ino stood in front of the doorway with Hinata holding Sakura's shirt and pinning her against the wall. They continued to watch with trepidation.
Hinata's eyes seethed with rage. Enhancing her grip on Sakura's shirt, the Hyuuga admonished Sakura some more to make her eat the sandwich.
"Sakura-san… Hinata-sama…" Ino said, her grip on the bouquet tightened.
Gohan couldn't stand Hinata cussing at Sakura. Anger boiled inside him. He clenched his fists and bared his teeth.
"Well?! If you have anything to say it… SAY IT!" An aroused Hinata exclaimed. The pinkette didn't respond and sagged. The frustrated Hyuuga dropped the pinkette down to the ground and connected her fist to her cheek.
"Oh man! She'll punch her again at a drop of a hat if she doesn't answer!" Kuririn said timorously.
"Sakura-san!" An aghast Gohan cried. With daggers in his eyes, he threatened, "Now you've done it! Get off her or–"
"You…" Sakura murmured.
Gohan snapped out of his rage. "Sakura-san…"
'I see. Sakura lowered her Ki to let Hinata hurt her. That's why Hinata was able to hit her,' thought Kuririn.
Hinata narrowed her Byakugan eyes at Sakura. "What?"
"You... are…" Sakura hissed softly. She reeled her fist back and punched her hard in the nose and mouth.
"YOU ARE WRONG!" Sakura exclaimed as Hinata fell down. Blood seeped from the Hyuuga's mouth.
Hinata was provoked to hit her back as she rubbed her stinging nose. She lifted her head up, for to see Sakura.
"What did you say?!" Hinata said contemptuously.
"You're right about something… But…" Sakura took a moment to try to compose herself before saying, "But you're wrong about one thing! Killing your emotions, huh?"
"What?!" Hinata hissed.
Sakura panted heavily before saying, "We may be Shinobi, but that doesn't mean we have to kill what makes us human. You claim that you know Naruto better than anyone that you know all there is about him! BUT you're wrong, Hinata! Naruto wouldn't kill his emotions. Did we ever tell you what happened in the Land of Waves? NO! Years ago, we were on a mission to escort a man to his hometown; the land of Waves. We faced two missing ninja from the Mist and the one Naruto fought was a man called Zabuza, also known as the Demon of the Hidden Mist. He had killed his classmates, because of a certain rule from the Mist. With that said, we were told what being a shinobi is… However, at that moment, Naruto decided that he would make his own ninja way. You may be insensitive, inhuman, and heartless. But that's not how Naruto practically thinks… He lets people know his feelings, knowing him.
"By the way… I heard about you and what happened to Element in the past two years after Team 7 disappeared. You fought Gaara, and saved Konoha, didn't you?"
Hinata raised her eyes comically and said incredulously, "What?! That loudmouth bitch told you everything?!"
Ino knew what Sakura was talking about. After all, she was the one who narrated to Sakura about the incident which took place in her absence. She displayed an expression of consternation.
Sighing, she shook her head. She knew she was going to be yelled by Hinata. She wasn't good at keeping secrets to herself. After all, she was excited to tell Sakura everything.
"You defended the village against Gaara, because he tried to destroy Konoha. You struggled with him because he turned into Biju, and you almost could not do anything. But after you defeated Gaara, you were going to kill him! Is this something Naruto-kun would do?" Sakura asked.
Hinata gulped.
"You tried to kill him, but failed. When he was immobilized, you were going to deliver your final blow, but Jiraiya-sama stopped you. And you thought Naruto would do the same thing. But YOU'RE WRONG! Naruto would've helped Gaara, because he is not as emotionless as you! And one last thing, at least I have a heart and not bottling my emotions up, even Naruto after what he told me about meeting his mom and dad."
Hinata now remembered who Naruto was. She almost forgot who Naruto was. She was desperate because Naruto disappeared, and the other incident she had experienced. The incident she never wanted to remember. She almost thought Naruto would kill his emotions. Now she remembered that Naruto is a happy-go-lucky idiot.
Hinata sat herself up and wiped the blood from her mouth. "I didn't come here to talk about Naruto-kun or killing your emotions, you baka!" Hinata denied.
"What?" A perplexed Sakura said.
Hinata kicked back into position and gazed into Sakura's eyes. "I COME HERE TO MAKE YOU EAT THIS SANDWICH, BITCH!"
Sakura flinched at Hinata's outpouring.
At least, the hero of the Konoha composed herself after a while and elaborated, "You haven't eaten in three days, and you're going to give up your life in vain? Do you think your parents will be happy, knowing you gave up your life? Would I want you to die? Would Ino-san want you to die? Would Kiba-kun want you to die? Would your friends from Earth want you to die? Would Goku-san you speak of want you to die? Would Sasuke-kun want you to die? Would Naruto-kun want you to die?"
Sakura twitched at Naruto's name.
"WOULD WE WANT YOU TO DIE?!" Hinata yelled. "THE ANSWER IS NO! This is why I am here to make you eat it! I don't care if you don't want to! You eat it, and that is simple and straightforward. You damned bitch!"
Sakura's expression darkened. She didn't like that last bleak comment. She was very sensitive to that offensive word. It was taboo to her though.
Ino was utterly demoralized as the display continued to unfold before her eyes. 'Oh, no… Hinata has gone too far! No… they both have gone too far. They've insulted each other. No matter how hard they try to knock some sense to each other, they refuse to give in! This is going to last forever!'
"Don't call me a damned bitch!" Sakura retaliated. "My parents just died. I have the right to mourn over their death." Sakura then looked at Hinata in a contemplating manner, before saying, "So you're saying you wouldn't grieve if your Dad and Mom died?" She shot a look at the Hyuuga with repugnance. "I hope that your mom dies just like mine."
Hinata gasped, but quickly turned livid, a vein throbbing on her head. She exclaimed, "Don't ever speak of my Mother again!" She punched Sakura hard on the jaw. "How dare you insult my Mother?!"
Sakura staggered back into position and cleaned the blood off her mouth and shrugged, "What's your problem? You started it anyways!"
"Sheesh! You're a dumb bitch! Sometimes, I wonder how you managed to convince Naruto to be your boyfriend. Oh, that's right… He's an idiot." Hinata said sarcastically, as she turned around. "Fine! If you're not going to take my advice… then go ahead and starve to death like a dumb bitch! You pissed me off enough! DON'T SPEAK BADLY OF MOTHER EVER AGAIN!"
Fuming, Hinata bid farewell to everyone excluding Sakura and stormed out of the house.
Ino cried, "Hinata-sama!"
Sakura folded her arms and scoffed. "What's her problem anyways? After all those bleak comments about my parents, she deserved it!"
"SHUT UP!" hissed Ino. "You are the one who caused the problem in the first place! Can't you see she wanted to help you?! You wished her Mom would die, so she could understand you? She may be heartless, but you're far worse than her! There isn't something you should wish for when her Mother died!"
Sakura widened her eyes, and stammered, "W-W-What…? Her M-Mom died…?"
Tears trickled from Ino's eyes. Her eyes were getting puffy, as she said, "It's true."
"H-H-How?"
"Her Mom was killed by Danzo," replied Ino immediately.
The Earthlings were dumbfounded by this statement. Sakura shrank back into fear and slumped on the wall of her bedroom. Fear was evident in her eyes.
Ino wiped her tears and elaborated, "Not only had Hinata changed after Naruto's disappearance, but she also changed when her mother died."
(With Hinata)
Hinata drifted aimlessly through the crowd of people. The crowd greeted her warm-heartedly as began cheering for their hero. "Hey, it's the heiress of the Hyuuga clan!"
"She's our hero!"
"Hinata-sama!"
"HERO!"
The crowd stood in rows on each side of Hinata and bowed to Hinata. But that didn't make her jovial.
Frustration started to build inside Hinata as she clenched her fists firmly and bared her teeth in anger. 'Damn her! Why can't she understand me?! I'm trying to help her! She even wished for my mother to die, when she's already dead! If Danzo never killed her parents, it would not be of any problem!'
That's why she understood Sakura more than everyone! She had been in the same shoes as Sakura. Her Mom was killed by Danzo in a horrific way. She did not see that, but she was in shocked when her Mom collapsed on the floor. She was traumatized almost every day since her Mother's death.
(Flashback Began- Last Year- Hokage's Room)
Hinata stood in the middle between Kiba and Shino. Kurenai stood behind them. Tsunade sat on her chair, and Shizune stood next to her, holding Ton-Ton as usual.
"Now I'm giving you a B-Mission Rank. Your mission is to escort a princess," said Tsunade.
"Really?! Now we're going to escort a princess? Is she hot?!" exclaimed Kiba.
Shino remained calm and quiet as usual. Kurenai sighed and shook her head in disgust. Tsunade and Shizune sweat-dropped and began to wonder if Kiba would speak more about a hot girl when there is Hinata in front of him.
Hinata clocked him in the head, and hissed a little, "What're you talking about?! I'm right here!" She shook her fist, as she displayed her sadistic grin towards her boyfriend. "Say it again, and I will show you how fearsome I'm really!"
Kiba waved her off, and chuckled nervously, "Not at all! You're hot! I'm glad I have you!" Akamaru yipped in agreement with him. "See? I love you, Hinata-chan!"
Hinata lowered her fist and nodded. "I love you, too. But if you say it again, I will beat you to a pulp."
Tsunade shook her head and smiled at Kiba and Hinata. She could assume they would be a great couple. But she hoped their emotions wouldn't get in the way.
"Please come in, Princess Shimizu!" Tsunade called.
As the door opened behind them, an orange haired woman with the length of her hair till her butt emerged into the scene.
She was very beautiful girl, as expected. Of course, Princess would be this beautiful girl after all. She had blue eyes. Orange hair and blue eyes girl was probably the most unique girl they ever have seen! She had a tight shirt around her C Size Chest.
Kiba drooled over her, and revealed his heart shaped in his eyes. "Soooo h-h—" He gulped nervously, as he felt someone fuming behind him. Hinata balled her fist up, indicating that she would do anything to him if he stated it.
Shimizu glanced at Team 8, and immediately despised Kiba. "Hokage-sama! I expected a stealth team. Not the teams with a loudmouth brat like this kid!" He pointed at Kiba. "Also, this puppy will get us killed!"
The moment Shimizu came in, she immediately ranted stuff about loudmouth brats and puppies. Kiba regretted expecting her to be very nice and a sweet girl. He disliked her because she was so rude to them.
Kiba growled, "Hey, you bitch! It's not a puppy! It's Akamaru!" Akamaru barked in agreement with him. He pointed his index finger at her. "You're underestimating my ability! I come from the Inuzuka clan, and I expect you to treat me with respect because I'm the leader of this group!"
Shimizu snorted, "Should I expect a pathetic team to defend me with your life? How can a short-tempered guy like you become ninja? I thought ninjas are all emotionless."
Hinata stepped forward, and restrained Kiba from losing his temper. "So you're one of idiots who thought we should kill our emotions?"
"That's right. I mean, this is really pathetic. All I get was a pathetic team, and even worse, we have trash puppy on this team! I'm more disgusted when I found out that a certain shinobi could not even kill his emotion! He's still growling at me! Shut him up! I'm a princess, therefore, all Princesses should deserve better than this!" ranted Shimizu. Akamaru constantly barked at her and growled at her, which she found it annoying! "Geez! We're not going to last a day with this annoying team! How will my life be secured if this puppy keeps doing that? I don't want to die, so get me well-protected team!"
Kiba attempted to break free from Hinata's grasp, but he could not so he yelled at her. "His name is not puppy! His name is Akamaru! You don't dare to make fun of him!"
Hinata clocked him on the head again. "Be quiet! I don't like her either, but we have to deal with it." She then smirked at Shimizu. "You sure complain a lot. Is your life more precious to you more than anything? Because it looks to me that you're afraid of death, right?"
Shimizu was going to talk back to Hinata, but a roach beneath her feet got her attention. She was about to stomp the roach.
"Stop…" a voice said.
Shimizu did do as she was told, and glanced at Shino. "What?"
"If you kill the roach, I will not forgive you. Insects are my comrades. Why you ask? Because they are also creature, same as us," explained Shino.
Shimizu sweat-dropped at him and muttered to herself quietly. "Creepy." She could not deal with them any longer! "That's it! Hokage-sama, change the team immediately! I want the team that can protect my life better!"
Tsunade still remained in her seat and shrugged, "That's fine. However, I should remind you if you wish to change the team; you will have to pay more. Also, we have only one team that is available besides Team 8 is Team 7."
Hinata remembered the original Team 7 disappeared off the face of this planet for some reason. Now she just found out that the team three new rookies team were created last month. It must mean they were inexperienced as well. She learned that new three teams were Team 4, Team 7, and Team 9. Team 9 used to be Team Gai, but it was no longer existed since Neji, Lee, and Tenten became Chuunin six months ago.
"However, Team 7 is an inexperienced team. Ever since they became team, they've passed 71 D-Rank, 10 C-Rank, and failed 33 D-Rank, 17 C-Rank. They never have done B-Rank before. They're the worst team in the history. In other words, there's high chance of your death is possible. Are you sure you want them to escort you?" asked Tsunade.
Shizimu gulped, "Fine… I will take this team instead! You better pray that they escort me safely, because if I die, I will kill them!"
Hinata sighed, 'She's an idiot. How can she kill us if she dies anyways? I'm tempted to fail this mission, so she can die already!'
Kurenai smiled, "Don't worry, Shizimu-sama. Their stealth and dexterity is beyond encouraging; it's spectacular. So please don't judge their appearance."
Shizimu rolled her eyes over. "Ugh… Fine! You better protect my life on this trip!"
"All right… You will escort her and protect her from shinobis at any cost Is that clear?"
"Yes, Hokage-sama!" Team 8 responded immediately.
With that, Tsunade dismissed them, and told them to pack their stuff in, and be ready in few hours. Shimizu ranted as usual. Team 8 left on way to their home to pack in.
As usual, by the Hyuuga rule, every Hyuuga members must inform their parents, as well as Clan Head of their upcoming mission. So Hinata would have to see his Father and Mother. His Father is Clan Head of Hyuuga, so she would not need to worry about informing others.
She kneeled before her parents, and bowed. "Father… Mother… I have to leave Konoha in few hours due to my upcoming mission. It's B-Rank Mission. It is uncertain when I will be coming back."
Hiashi nodded, "Good. I have high expectations of you. You will complete the mission without any issue. I will not tolerate any failure especially when you completed all missions since the invasion. Do you understand?"
Hinata nodded, "Yes, I understand…"
Haruna smiled, "Just be careful. When you come back with completed mission, we will celebrate your 100th completed missions. Oh, don't forget Chuunin Exam is coming next month! Please don't die!"
"I will not die, Mother!" Hinata said proudly. "Now I must pack in and prepare to leave for my upcoming mission." With that, Hinata left them to pack her stuff in.
About few hours later, Hinata hefted her backpack and left Hyuuga Compound, and walked on way to meet her teammates, but only to meet an old man.
"Hinata-san…" Danzo greeted.
"Who are you?" asked Hinata.
"Shimura Danzo, the founder and leader of Root," introduced the old man.
She sighed, "Okay… What do you want? If you have no business with the future heiress of Hyuuga, I must be on my way to meet my teammates."
"Then… I have an offer for you. Would you like to hear it?"
"What is your offer?"
Danzo smirked, "I've heard so much about you. You're such a talented kunoichi. And I heard you never failed even a single mission, because of you. Not only that, I also heard that you saved Konoha from the demon last year. I would like to offer you to join my Root."
"Thank you, but I must decline your offer." Hinata replied quickly without thinking about it at first.
"What?!" Danzo growled.
"I don't know about your Root. If I don't know about it, it must mean your so-called "Root" is a secret organization. In other words, I do not trust any secret organizations, and therefore, I refuse to join any secret organizations at all! Sorry, but thank you." She trotted past Danzo as she was on way to the front gate of Konoha.
"Wait…" Danzo called her.
She stopped and sighed, "No matter what you say, it's not going to change my mind."
Danzo did not even look back at Hinata, and continued to make an attempt to convince Hinata. After all, he had something on his mind. "That's fine. But would you sacrifice your Mother's life for your stubbornness?"
Hinata glared around at Danzo and bared her teeth angrily.'How dare he threaten me?'She quickly diminished her anger, and managed to calm down. She knew there was no way for him to convince her after all. She snorted, "That's your best attempt to threaten me? Sorry, but you will not be able to kill her, because she's a Hyuuga. Not only her, but she will have other Hyuuga members to protect her as well. There's no way you can kill her after all. Go ahead, and order your subordinates to kill her, which is not possible. After all, the Hyuuga clan is elite, and considered to be the strongest clan in this village. With that, I am confident to say that I still refused your offer. Suck it, loser!"
With that said, she rushed to meet her teammates. She was late, only to hear Shimizu's ranting again! She was sick of it already. She disliked Shimizu since the first glance. They would leave Konoha to escort Shimizu to her town. She would rant, moan, bitch, rant, and bitch almost every thirty seconds! It annoyed Hinata.
Even worst, Shimizu would complain, and insisted to take a break! Because the fact she did not take, she would have died from exhaustion! Oh, Kami! Look at her! She whined for everything! What was the thing she would not complain? All of her complaint was about her life.
One time, she accused Team 8 of not be able to protect her, because some weakling bandits went to attack her. Indeed, one of them almost reached her, but they were able to stop bandits, yet she accused them for not being been able to protect her. They did their best to protect her for anything. A thank you would be more appreciated!
Even worse of all worst, she complained that she was not being protected when she slept in her tent, because the fact that no one was there to protect her. C'mon! She was fine. No one harmed her during that night. At least, one of them stayed up to protect Shimizu overnight. Unbelievable!
They finally made it to her town. There she goes again! She cried to her Father that they could not protect her. For Kami's sake, they protected her whole times, and no one harmed her at all!
No incident happened few days later until elite Jounin nuke-nin attacked the town. They found out that Rank-B was actually Rank-A! Apparently, the Princess was actually a complainer and a liar. She lied to Tsunade that Chuunin was after her life, despite her being rich. They could only guess that she loved to play around with Hokage-sama.
Well, at least, they handled him, but it was hard. Hinata was almost killed in action, but she survived somehow. The mission was completed. Suddenly, Shimizu thanked them for be able to protect her. What the hell? The whole time she was complaining about them not be able to protect her! Now she thanked them!
Geez! It's official! Shimizu is the dumbest girl she had ever met!
Well, she was glad that she finally completed the mission and be able to return to Konoha soon. It's been a week since she left Konoha for mission.
Team 8 returned to Konoha, and informed Tsunade that they had completed the mission. This was their 100th mission completed. Tsunade congratulated them, and asked them to leave, except Hinata. Kiba, Shino, and Kurenai did do as she told them to, and left.
Tsunade's expression darkened. "I have a bad news for you."
"What is it?" asked a confused Hinata.
Tsunade frowned. "Your Mother has been murdered last night…"
Hinata widened her eyes, and exclaimed in shock, "WHAT?! It can't be true!" She wondered who would do such a thing to her Mother? Suddenly, she recalled that Danzo said something about her Mother.'That bastard!'She remembered Danzo told her if she refused to accept his offer, he would slay her Mother! "No, that can't be true!"
Tears streaked from her eyes as she quickly rushed out of Hokage mansion to the Hyuuga Compound to visit her family.'Please tell me this is not true! It can't be true!'
She finally arrived there, only to see Father, her sister Hanabi, and her cousin Neji standing with a frown on their faces. "Father, Hanabi, Neji-niisan?! Please tell me it's not true!"
Father sighed, "Yes, your Mother is dead. Since you're here, I will arrange her funeral for tomorrow." He walked away with monotony.
She was shocked that he did not mourn her at all. But she did not have strength to yell at her Father. She went to her knees, and began to cry for her Mother. Tears came streaming down from her eyes. She loved her Mother more than anything. Her Mother was like only one person in the world to her. She did not know what to do without her Mother. Now Mother died, and she would not live happily.
"Stop crying… You're not supposed to show your emotions. Did you not learn anything from the academy?" Said Neji coldly.
Hinata looked up at Neji with disbelief. There was a second member in her family did not care about her Mother's death at all? She hoped her precious daughter actually cared about her Mother's death. She diverted her eyes towards Hanabi, and she sighed with relief. Hanabi was pretty sad, and cried a little.
Hinata hung her hair down to shadow her eyes and hissed, "So… both of you… Father and you… you guys are heartless, aren't you? You never mourned for anyone, do you? That's so cold, you know! Why would I kill my emotions knowing that Mother died?" She looked up at Neji with disappointed look.
"It doesn't matter. This is her fate. She was fated to die. It doesn't matter who dies. We must kill our emotions no matter what. That's why you cannot show your tear or your weakness."
Suddenly, Hinata slapped Neji on the cheek. "Shut up! Didn't you cry for uncle Hizashi when he died?!" Neji was so shocked. "I remembered that you cried all night after you found out his death. I also cried for uncle Hizashi all night, too! What about you when Mother died? You did not shred a single tear, and you tell me to kill my emotion! You're heartless bastard!" She turned around, and started to walk away.
"Hinata-sama!" Neji placed his hand on her shoulder, trying to stop her, but she swatted his hand out.
"Leave me alone!" Hinata growled, as she ran away from Hyuga Compound to mourn more for her dead Mother.
(Later Night)
She sat on the swinging chair, and was left to ponder about the tragic event. She was still saddened to find out that her Mother died last night. She knew who killed her. It was Danzo's doing! Now, she hated him. She assumed he was a type who could not stand refusal. It seemed that he was power-hunger.
"I warned you before, Hinata-san," the voice said.
Hinata widened her eyes, and looked up, only to find Danzo in front of her. She snarled, "YOU BASTARD!" She leaned forward, but Danzo hit her stomach with his cane. She grasped her stomach as she fell to her knees.
"It was your arrogance that sacrificed your Mother's life. Only if you would have obeyed me, none of this would have happened," Danzo scolded.
She glared up at the old man. "Why? What is your scheme? What do you want from me?"
Danzo stared at her for a brief moment and sighed, "All I ask you is to join Root. You have potential talent that has yet to be unlocked. If you join me, I will get you in good shape in no time."
Hinata growled, "Why would I join someone who murdered my Mother without remorse?!"
Danzo turned his back on her. "Very well. I graciously offered you for that, but I suppose you left me with no choice. Perhaps, another sacrifice would do?"
Hinata narrowed her eyes at him, and started to boil up with rage, but she managed to calm down after a while. She snickered. "Another sacrifice, huh? So you're power-hungry huh?"
Danzo glanced over his shoulder at her and perplexed. "What?"
She began to chuckle and got up. "You're the type of guy who wanted everything for his power. I pity you. I don't know what's going on with you, but I don't care. Have you forgotten I have 'Hero' status?" Danzo remained silence and listened intently. "Hero status is given by the citizen here… no, not only citizen… It's also given by Feudal lord, the council, shinobi, and even Hokage. A hero is granted the power to make people to listen to them no matter what. In other words, I can tell them what your schemes are! They will immediately listen to me without any further investigation. Your scheme will be useless. You will be rotted to hell soon or later!"
"Then, I'll kill you to protect my identity," Danzo said coldly.
She spread her arms widely and laughed, "Go ahead! Do it! Kill me! Even if you kill me, they will know it's you!"
He widened his eyes, and shocked, "What?!"
"I developed a new technique. If I die, my Byakugan will activate right away, and will record how it happened, and what happened. No… even if you take my eyes away, they will still know. After all, after it's activated, it will flow into my corpse body. My mind will be on hold until one of Yamanaka find out inside my mind. You're doomed! Is 'Hero' status great? Is it great that I have a more power than you do?"
"You bitch!" hissed Danzo.
Hinata raised her fist and clenched, as she bellowed. "NO MATTER WHAT! Once I find all of your schemes, I will reveal everything to the village someday! And one more thing! I WILL PROTECT MY FRIENDS AND CLAN… AND THIS VILLAGE NO MATTER WHAT!"
Danzo knew he could not do anything against her. He would have to be careful, because the fact that she still had a 'hero' status. He sighed, "Very well. You will regret that you refused to join me." He walked away, and disappeared into darkness.
Hinata smirked,'Idiot! My new technique was just a bluff. You're dumber than I thought!'
(Flashback Ended- With Sakura)
"Since that day, she vowed to herself she would not let everyone down. With her hero status, she will do everything in her power to prevent slaughter," finished Ino.
Sakura was baffled to hear Hinata's story. How Hinata's life changed, and how her Mother died. She did not change completely because of Naruto's disappearance, but it was because of her Mother's death. Now she finally understood what was up with Hinata. She regretted mentioning Hinata's mother in front of her.
Hinata was right in some way…

She finally woke up, thanks to Hinata. Come to think of it, she hadn't been eaten anything in three days. It was time for her to do something, and start eating something. She was not going to starve to death just because of her parents' death. She finally grabbed the sandwich, and began to eat it.
Ino smiled cheerfully, "Sakura!" Kuririn and Gohan smiled proudly. Tears trickled from Bulma's eyes and rubbed it off happily. They were glad that Sakura made a right decision.
After eating the sandwich, she stood up, and casually walked to them. "I'm going to find Hinata, and apologize to her." With that said, she left the house, on her way to see Hinata.
Kuririn smiled, "At least, she finally ate the sandwich."
Bulma folded her arms and chuckled, "I'm glad she ate it today."
Gohan said softly, "Sakura-san…"
Ino put the bouquet on the desk next to Sakura's bed, and smiled, "I was actually worried about her. I'm glad she's okay. This is why I brought Hinata here."
"Wait! You brought her here?!" Bulma asked in shock.
Ino shrugged, "Well, technically, she decided to come on her own. Actually, I told Konoha Nine that Sakura refused to eat anything because of her Mother's death. Hinata was there, and she insisted to go there to see Sakura."
Bulma and Kuririn screamed, "WHAT?!"
Ino put her fingers on her ears each, and groaned, "Ouch! You don't have to yell so loud. I'm right here, you know!"
"I heard from Sakura that you're the biggest gossip monger on this planet!" hissed Bulma.
Kuririn shook her back and forth, and sniffed, "Oh, why?! You told her about Sakura. WHY?! I dunno what I'd do with that scaaaary woman! I crinnnnnnge every time she's sooooo annnnnngry! It makes me sooooo saaaaad!"
Bulma still screamed in Ino's ears. "Why did you bring her?! She's such a bitch! Oh, god! It's all your fault! Because of you, she scared me enough! I THOUGHT YOU'RE SAKURA'S BEST FRIEND!"
Kuririn still shook her body ferociously. "Ohhhhhh! What should I dooooo with heeeeer? I want to crrrrrry!"
"WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER SHIT, BECAUSE OF YOU!" yelled Bulma.
Ino's face fumed red when Kuririn still rocked her body back and forth, while Bulma still screamed in her face.
"Whhhhhhy?!"
"YOUR FAULT!"
"Whhhhhhy?"
"YOUR FAULT!"
"Whhhhhhy?"
"YOUR FAULT!"
"WHHHHHHHHHHHY?!"
It turned out Ino could not handle them, and finally threw temper on them. She did a karate move, and flipped Kuririn over her shoulder to the ground. Bulma stopped screaming and gulped nervously, while Kuririn groaned. "IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM! NOT AT ALL!" She stormed out of Sakura's house angrily.
Gohan witnessed this whole scene and frowned, "Bulma-san… Kuririn-san…"
Bulma gulped, "Not only Hinata, but she's also so scary! Geez! What's up with Elementians girls?"
Kuririn raised his finger up, and waggled it. "Hey, look… She's a blonde!" joked Kuririn.
(With Sakura)
She walked through between the citizens, and glanced around. 'Where is Hinata? Geez, she's so hard to find! Well, despite her change this much, she's still quiet!' After glancing around for a while, she finally gave up and sighed, 'I guess I will find her by sensing her little amount of Ki. Everyone has Ki after all.'
Then, she closed her eyes, and attempted to sense her Ki carefully. It was difficult, but it was worth the try anyways. That should help her to enhance her Ki sense better ever than before! Finally, she found Hinata's Ki, and immediately rushed on way to her destination.
She jumped on some of roof until she reached the roof where Hinata was on. She spotted Hinata who sat against the wall. She could tell that Hinata was thinking right now.
"Hinata…"
Hinata looked up at Sakura before looking down at the floor again. "How many times do I have to tell you to call me 'Hinata-sama', Sakura-san? After all, I'm the future heiress of Hyuu—"
"I don't give a shit about that!" scowled Sakura.
Hinata quickly looked up at her and growled, "What?!"
"I don't give a shit about your ass! I'm not going to say an honorific to your name. I refuse to be so formal with someone who gave me so much shit. Besides, you're not the heiress of the Hyuuga clan yet. There's no point for me to call you Himata-sama. I will call you Hinata until then," Sakura said boldly.
Hinata's mouth slowly turned into a smile. "I see… I will have to make sure you will call me 'Hinata-sama' from on now." Her gaze drooped. "But that's not why you come here to talk to me about how much you won't give a shit about my ass. I'm sure you're here for another reason."
Sakura bowed. "I'm sorry… I just said something so horrible that I shouldn't say that. I didn't realize your Mother was killed by the same person!"
She stared at Sakura in shock. "Hehe… Despite not calling me 'Hinata-sama', you actually bowed before 'the' Princess!" Hinata said sarcastically. Sakura twitched her eyes, and raised her fist. "But oh well. I suppose it can't be help since you apologized to me. I forgive you now. Just don't mention her in front of me again. It will trigger the memory of that tragic event again."
Sakura stopped bowing and sighed, "One more thing I want to tell you… No matter what you tell me, I refuse to follow the Shinobi rules. I don't want to be an emotionless person. It will make me even worse."
Hinata remained stoic and listened carefully.
"Naruto-kun taught me that well. That's why he makes his own ninja way, because he refused to believe in these rules. He showed his emotions in every battle. He fought Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta, Ginyu Force, Freeza, New Sound Four, and Orochimaru, and he managed all with that even with his emotions. But not just him; Goku, Vegeta, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, Yamucha, Gohan, and even Sasuke showed their emotions during the battle, and despite all that, they have the will of fire! Do you know what their will are? It's showing that they never give up! They have a will to never give up. That's why people out in the universe believe that our people, Elementians, are the second weakest next to Earthlings. No, it's not because of our Chakra, but because Elementians killed their emotions. Even aliens have emotions, be there ally or enemy. Every enemy we have fought also showed their emotions, and they refused to give up.
"If you show your emotions, it will make you even stronger, and give you a will to never give up. Without these emotions, you give up easily. Maybe you haven't realized it, but I will tell you anyways. How did you beat several strong enemy people?"
Hinata widened her eyes. "What?"
"How do you think you beat them? Why do you think that?" Sakura droned on. "That's because you still have your emotions! You won't admit that you have it. You claimed you wanted to protect the village. It must mean you have a feeling for them, and therefore, you have feelings! There's also a reason why you refused to give up!"
Suddenly, Hinata's tear finally came out of her eyes.
"Huh? You're crying…?"
Hinata wiped tears off her eyes, and scoffed, "What're you talking about? I'm not crying. I'm happy. Really speaking, I actually hated myself for not being the old me. It's like I can't control myself. I hate to be so rude constantly. Even though I want to stop, I cannot seem to stop showing off my arrogance, no matter how much I want to stop. I was actually proud of myself for being superior to every Chuunin ranks in the Konoha." She smiled sadly, "I just want to go back to the old me, but without the stuttering habit. I always thought I can change back to it, but I can't. Every time I wanted to change back to it, I always thought of Mother, and that bastard!
"The day my Mother… the day Danzo killed her… the day I vowed to find his scheme… I never thought of myself. I always think about them. I always try to find a way to find his scheme. Nothing matters. I never realized it. I haven't realized anything until new person came in my life…"
"Who?" Sakura was not sure if she heard Hinata's sobbing, but when she checked up on her, she heard it right.
Hinata tried to hold back her tears as she wiped it off. "His name is Kenji. He was a rookie, and a member of new Team 7 last year. He was like Naruto in some way, but he's smart. His dream was always to be the Hokage someday. That's when I met him during the Chuunin Exam. In fact, I fought him. He was strong and smart, and I used to patronize him. I always thought him of an idiot and worthless ninja because he reminds me of Naruto. I hated him at first. I hated him to be like Naruto. I don't want someone to be like Naruto, because Naruto is supposed to be Naruto.
"But I underestimated him… He defeated me with hard work. He showed me that there's always light no matter what. That day he made me realized it… I realized I changed so much. I never noticed it myself. He can do what no one could. He makes me smile" She smiled. "He makes me laugh. He makes me so special. Even though he makes me to see the light, it was not romantic, mind you. Despite having Kiba-kun as my boyfriend, Kenji-kun was only person that could make me laugh. He was quite humorous. But until that day…!"
Hinata hissed, "The day when Kenji-kun and I got a mission. Tsunade sent us to find out what happened near the Tanzaku Quarter. It caused a ruckus, and we had to be there. As we were on way there… maybe a day or two days on our journey, a group of ninjas stumbled across us, and tried to kill us. They separated us, so they could deal with us each. I killed them too easy, but…"
She clenched her fists tighter, and gritted her teeth. "But… the group Kenji-kun dealt with was too strong for him. They killed him too easy! I thought he made a reckless, but I found out that the group we encountered was a member of Root members!" She snarled about that last sentence.
"What?!" Sakura was shocked.
Hinata thumped her fist on the wall. "That bastard will pay for it! He's the type of a guy who wanted to get what he wants for anything. If people denied him, they would get their loved ones killed. I can't stand that filthy bastard!"
She chuckled menacingly. "Now I know what his schemes are! His schemes are to control the power of the Kyuubi that resides inside Naruto-kun, and to be Hokage, so he can rule the Konoha! Well, he took them away from me, so I will take his goal by preventing him from becoming a true Hokage."
"Hinata…"
Hinata got up on her feet. She placed her hand on pink-haired girl's shoulder and smiled. That smile looked amicable to Sakura for some reason. "Sakura-san… I'm sure you will do the same thing. Do you want to steal his precious things?"
"Uhh… I-I-I don't kn-kn—" stammered Sakura.
"You don't know? Fine… I will do it for you. Perhaps, taking his life away?"
Sakura widened her eyes, and was afraid that Hinata might look for revenge.
"Gotcha! You thought I'm serious? I'm joking. Ohh… 'Hinata-san is going to kill him for revenge. I must stop her!'" Hinata said sarcastically. "Anyways, it's up to Hokage's decision if he should deserve an execution or not."
Sakura sighed with relief and frowned, 'Damn her and her attitude! I thought she would fall into darkness. But… at least, she can control herself.'
Hinata causally strolled to the fence, and gazed down. "We have to stop him from becoming Hokage, and execution too, because in next hour, we will witness an execution and new Hokage. So we must stop him no matter what! All of us… Right, guys?"
Sakura raised her eyebrows and puzzled, "Huh?" She had no idea what Hinata was talking about.
"Yeah! We're going to kick his ass! Right, Akamaru?!" A voice shouted, as the dog barked in agreement.
Sakura looked up at the voice who sat on the top of other roof. "Kiba!"
"Sheesh! I'm almost late for the meeting. It's all thanks to stupid Earthlings, and that troublesome lazy man!" a voice sighed, but sounded cheerful.
Sakura noticed the blonde girl standing behind the wall, as she folded her arms against the wall. "Ino!"
"Geez… How troublesome…" a familiar voice sighed heavily. He cursed Ino for dragging him all the way here.
Sakura looked up at the large tank, and found Shikamaru lying on the top of it. "Shikamaru!"
The sound of snacking of chips got her attention. Yup, that was Choji, and he smiled eating a bag of chips. There he walked to them and greeted them heartily. "Hello!"
"I also want to take his goal away. Why? Because he manipulated Torune to join the Root," a voice said. Sakura looked for him, but there was no sign of him until she realized he stood to very edge of the roof.
Hinata smirked, "This is the day we will stop him! Sakura-san… Will you join us in order to stop him? We may need you after all. After all, we need more additional members to Konoha Nine!"
Sakura was shocked that they would work together to stop Danzo. She was baffled enough to know that Hinata was the hero of the Konoha, but she did not know that being a hero granted her power to make people to listen to her without any struggle.
'She's the hero of the Konoha after all. This is true Hinata. She's the real Hinata. Well, if she was that girl from the academy, she would be stronger, and easily make everyone to recognize her. But… oh, well. She's Hyuuga Hinata, after all!' She began to smile, and nodded. "Yeah! I'm in!"
Hinata smirked wider, "Then it's officially Konoha Ten!" The group gawked at the Hokage Monuments.

Me: Oh, that's right! (looks around at the random direction) Hey, reviewers! Ya know we're still stuck on this planet and all... Let you know that I will update next chapter, and it will be all about Fye vs Gai, Sunagakure Invasion, and some interaction between Karin and Sasuke and vs Lime as well :D
Only reason why this chapter is all about Hinata and Sakura because I want to end their crap drama. Only remains is for them to stop Danzo after long epic fight! :D
