Chapter 97: Execution

Other World- Kaio's Planet

Minato and Kushina had been spending most of their time at Kaio's planet, watching over the crisis which had been brought upon Element. As he watched over the elementals in a quandary, he began to wonder who the man behind the mask was.

Although, the masked man shad claimed to be Madara on the day Naruto was born, Minato was still uncertain. One thing's for sure: The man was very determined at that time. He'd almost kept up his resolution to capture the Kyuubi, but failed in the end. Albeit, he did get Minato and Kushina to die.

Minato began to guess on the possible conclusions of who the man was, while Kushina noticed the perturbed expression of her beloved husband.

She frowned. "What's wrong, honey?" she asked.

He whipped his head towards her and asked, "Do you remember before we died—the day of Naruto's birth, and the masked man who'd attacked us?

Kushina nodded. "Yeah, why?"

"I watched over Fayre, Obito's brother, through Kaio when he fought Deidara. Remember when he confronted the masked man?"

"Yeah."

"When the masked man and Fayre met each other, it was almost as if he knew everything about Fayre. So all the time I asked myself this question: Who is that man behind the mask?"

"I do," a new voice said from behind Minato which startled everyone present, as they turned around to look for the source of the mysterious voice.

Their expressions looked like as if they'd been stabbed in the back. It was a 12-year-old girl of average height—she had brown hair, which was cut in a chin-length bob that framed her face, and brown eyes. She also had a rectangular purple marking on either side of her cheeks. She wore a long-sleeved black top and a light purple apron-skirt, under which she wore black shorts. She also wore the standard Konoha hitai-ate, along with a pair of sandals, red stockings that stopped at her thighs, and a small, red bracelet on her left wrist. Of course, there was a halo above her head.

"Rin…" greeted Minato surprisingly.

Rin smiled sweetly. "Minato-sensei. Kushina-san. Kaio-sensei." She bowed when she greeted Kaio.

"What're you doing here?" asked Kushina, perplexed. They had not seen her for a long time since she'd died.

"Kaio-sensei?!" said Minato incredulously. He did not know that Rin was trained under Kaio. He thought there were only four people that made it to Kaio's place: Lord Enma, Son Goku, Uzumaki Naruto, and himself.

"Oh, you actually ran all the way along the snake on your way here, Rin? What might you be here for? Let me guess – you want to hear my over 9,000 jokes?" Suddenly, Kaio burst out laughing at his own comment. "Haha! Get it?! I just said OVER 9,000! HAHA!"

Minato, Kushina, and Rin looked rather dumbfounded at Kaio's weird sense of humor. They always wondered how his 'jokes' were funny.

Kaio looked up at them and realized they were not laughing at his joke, so he immediately turned around and scowled in disgust. "Geez, you guys have no sense of humor nowadays."

"Sorry, Kaio-sensei. You see…I've lost my laugh box, that's all," said Rin.

Once again, Kaio rolled on the floor, laughing at Rin's comment. "Haha! You just said you lost your laugh box! So funny!" Minato and others shook their head at Kaio's constant laughing habit.

"Just leave him," Kushina sighed, looking at Rin again. "It's been awhile. Do you know how much I've missed you? The war… everything… it was so gruesome. You did not deserve to die!" she commiserated, hugged Rin, and cried on her shoulder happily.

Rin smiled, but at the same time, she was saddened to remember her own fate. Her life ended when Kakashi killed her by piercing a Chidori through her heart. As a matter of fact, it was not that important for now. She had something important to tell, and that information was imperative. She knew who the man behind the mask was.

"Speaking of which," Rin sighed. "I know who the man behind the mask is…"

Konohagakure

The citizens of Konohagakure assembled together before the Hokage Mansion, waiting for Danzo's announcement. Most of the citizens heard a rumor about Tsunade releasing Naruto from prison. The dissemination of the rumor initiated from an Anbu.

The citizens were angry, for they thought their Hokage had betrayed them. They abhorred the Hokage for releasing the 'demon' (Naruto) from prison, which made everyone turn livid. They were mad at the Hokage because Tsunade had betrayed for the 'monster' that nearly levelled Konoha 15 years ago.

They heard that Naruto kidnapped Sasuke and Sakura and vanished from Konohagakure. They hated Naruto so much because of what he had done 15 years ago! They still believed that he was the monster, and that he was the Kyuubi itself!

It was time for the execution of Godaime Hokage soon. They were looking forward to witness her execution for her treason.

Kakashi, Kurenai, and Asuma were gathered together in the middle of the crowd. "What should we do?" asked Kurenai. She was rather worried.

Sarutobi Asuma put his cigarette in his mouth and lit it, as he puffed and blew some smoke – just like his Father. "I don't know. We cannot interfere in an execution no matter what. Policy says if anyone, citizen or no, interfere an execution, that person will be killed on the spot. It's best not to interfere."

"Oh, you're right," said Kurenai flatly.

Kakashi said nothing. He stared at the mansion's roof, anticipating for Hinata, Sakura and her friends to prevent the execution. Nothing happened. 'Hinata, Sakura… I hope you have a plan.'

Flashback Began

Kakashi stood behind an air conditioner and began to eavesdrop Hinata and Sakura. He just happened to pass by, and heard them talking about intervening Danzo's scheme. He had to stop and hear what they were going to say.

Hinata casually strolled to the fence of the rooftop, and gazed down. "We have to stop him from becoming Hokage, and the execution, too. Because in the next hour, we will witness an execution and a new Hokage. So we must stop him no matter what! All of us… Right, guys?'

He also saw Kiba, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, and Shino around the roof. 'It's Konoha Nine! Only missing is Neji, Lee, and Tenten.'

Hinata smirked, "This is the day we will stop him! Sakura-san… Will you join us in order to stop him? We may need you after all. After all, we need more additional members to Konoha Nine!"

Sakura seemed to hesitate for a moment, but she finally began to smile and nodded. "Yeah! I'm in!"

Hinata smirked wider, "Then it's officially Konoha Ten!" Silence filled the air for a while, as Kakashi was waiting to eavesdrop some more.

"All right… Here's plan!"

'Enough eavesdropping' Kakashi thought.

That was enough for him to eavesdrop them. He sighed, walking down a flight of stairs. He would let them to discuss their plan. He hoped it would be a good plan so they could kick Danzo's ass.

Flashback Ended

As they were waiting, Sarutobi Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon were also in the crowd. "Damn it! Can't we do anything about this? I know Naruto and he's a good guy! Why is Danzo executing Granny Tsunade for freeing Naruto?! That's stupid! Besides, why's Grandpa not stopping that bastard?!" complained Konohamaru.

"Good question. Should we save her?" asked Udon.

"I wish… We are not strong enough to save her," admitted Moegi.

'Damn it! Is there someone who can save her?' thought Konohamaru in pure frustration.

Few feet away from them, Bulma, Gohan, and Kuririn were also in the crowd. They were near Sakura's house. "What the hell are we doing?! We did not come here to witness an execution! We're here to save the world!" complained Bulma. "Kuririn, Gohan! GO SAVE HOKAGE-SAMA!" She demanded them almost as if she was a commander.

Kuririn hung his arms behind his head and deadpanned. "Are you kidding me? We've been here for only three days, and I don't want to give a bad impression. Let Sakura handle it."

"What?!" scowled Bulma.

"He's right." Gohan admitted. "Hokage-sama saved Naruto and all… but let Sakura-san handle it. I'm sure she will save her!"

Unbeknownst to the crowd, three unknown children in casual clothes watched them and giggled darkly. They looked like pure humans.

"Heh… It's going to be awesome! We've been here for almost a month, and it's finally starting to get interesting," said the boy, shuffling a deck of cards.

"I'm glad that Coola gave us the privilege to set foot in Konohagakure. I am more surprised that Konoha did not provide enough security at the gate. What a waste. Is that right, boss?" asked the girl.

"Right. I just found three potential opponents for us. I've been studying a few people. How exciting!" Boss girl pointed her finger at a ponytail man, scoping him. "Nara Shikamaru."

Shikamaru stood along with Ino and some random citizens and shinobi.

"Nara Shikamaru is arguably the most genius person with an IQ of over 200. Despite his IQ, he's very lazy. He usually lies down or takes a cat nap. Every blunder he makes or any unpleasant situation he has to face…he calls it "Troublesome"."

"Hatake Kakashi." She pointed at a spiky silver haired man wearing a dark half-mask who stood along with Asuma and Kurenai. "He is also a genius. Not so much information about him. His intelligent is what I only know of."

"Haruno Sakura." She pointed at a pink haired girl who stood along with Hinata. "She may be not a genius, but she's a book nerd. Sometimes, when I casually visit the library, I see her there, reading a variety of books. Maybe she spends most of her time grasping new information."

She let out a dark chuckle and revealed, "But, it's a pity that her parents died three days ago."

She grinned. "Good! This should be fun! Their being smart should give us a good challenge. We're going to play our games with them when the scene causes a ruckus soon! How exciting!"

"I think I will choose Kakashi. I'm going to play a card game with him," said the boy.

"A board & quiz game with Sakura? FUN!" cheered the girl happily.

"Good choice." Boss clapped her hands and squealed. "I will play a chess game with Shikamaru. How exciting!"

Finally, Danzo, along with two council members – Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu, revealed himself in front of the congregations of the citizens and ninjas on the mansion's rooftop. "Attention, citizens of Konohagakure! I will present you to witness a traitor – the Hokage's execution! Allow me to introduce her to you! The traitor is Senju Tsunade!"

Then, two men walked Tsunade on the roof, though they struggled to carry her because she resisted too much. She glared up at Danzo and hissed. "You corrupted bastard! I'm going to break free my bounded hands and punch you with my strength RIGHT NOW!"

The citizens gasped and murmured amongst themselves. They began to think that Tsunade was under the influence of the demon vessel. They agreed that she should be executed because of her recent action.

"That won't be possible." Danzo bit his own thumb, as the blood leaked from the skin of thumb. Suddenly, Tsunade widened his eyes and trembled with fear. She could not stutter a single word.

"What?" said a wide eyed Hinata.

"She has hemophobia?!" Sakura said, bewildered and dumbfounded. She wondered how she'd become eligible to be Hokage when she was afraid of blood. She did not expect a woman with monstrous strength to have that kind of fear!

"As long as you have that fear, you won't have enough strength to break the ties." Danzo told Tsunade in front the of citizens.

Tsunade hissed at Danzo. "D-Damn you...!" she cursed, her voice brittle. 'Damn it! He has to pay for it!' She had a bad flashback when she witnessed her younger brother Nawaki and her lover Dan's deaths, with lots of blood! She tried to heal them, but it was not possible to save their life! She would have turn Jiraiya's request down, but as soon as she heard about Naruto's disappearance, she agreed to become Hokage.

Shizune hugged Tonton tightly, as she watched Tsunade's anxious face. She had no idea to do. She was about to witness Tsunade's execution! She did not want her to die!

With that, Danzo turned around to face the citizens of Konohagakure. "What you're about to see is our former Hokage being executed, because she freed Uzumaki Naruto – the most dangerous ninja in the world, and thus, must be executed for her treason. Because of her action, the demon brat is roaming around the world, slaughtering thousands of elementals/humans. Not only did she free him, she also threatened me that if Naruto were to be executed, she would murder me by her own hands!"

Tsunade snarled – the look of resentment evident on her face. "Y-You b-bastard!" she growled, her voice ragged, thanks to her fear of blood, as she watched the blood dripping from Danzo's thumb.

At the bottom of the mansion, Sakura clenched her fists as blood began to boil inside her. "That bastard!" A hand placed itself on her shoulder. She was startled and looked behind her.

"Don't…" Hinata whispered where no one could hear her except Sakura. "We still have a plan, remember? That bastard will get what he deserves soon!"

Sakura calmed her down and recalled what Hinata told them the plan, of course, with the assistance from Shikamaru and herself. She nodded, "Right…"

"Before she meets her execution, do you have any words you want to say to this traitor?" said Danzo flatly to the citizens.

The angry citizens shouted, "DON'T CARE! GO DIE AND ROT IN HELL!" "YOU ALLIED WITH THE DEMON, YOU TRAITOR!" "THE DEMON WORSHIPPER MUST DIE!" "JUST DIE ALREADY!" "EXECUTE HER NOW!" "CHOP HER HEAD OFF!"

That was anticlimactic.

Tsunade was in shock, for they had had been brainwashed by Danzo. Eyes shut, tears streaking down her cheek.

Danzo smirked. It was almost as if he was proud of himself. He had convinced them that she'd allied with the demon. "It seems they want you dead, Tsunade."

Tsunade growled.

"You're wrong!" yelled a voice.

Danzo immediately glanced down and found Hinata in the middle of the crowd. He raised his eyebrows, at the same time irritated. All the members set their sight on the hero of Konoha, and they were confused why she would tell Danzo that he was wrong. They hoped that she hadn't allied with the demon.

"Silence, Hinata!" demanded Hiashi.

"Shut up, Father!" Hinata retorted, scowling at her Father. Hiashi was taken aback by her talkback. She did not care and jumped onto the roof where Danzo was.

"Hinata!" exclaimed Tsunade, gaping. "What're you doing?"

"You!" Danzo growled at her. "Do you have any idea what you're doing? Do you realize if you interfere with the execution, then you would be killed on the spot?"

Hinata smirked. "Try me."

Danzo gritted his teeth, seemingly miffed. He looked at her with animosity.

She'd done enough irritating. Why must she be such a smart-ass? When did she become a smart-ass to begin with? If he recalled correctly, she used to be a shy and stuttering girl? Now she was like this?! It pissed him off!

"KILL HER NOW!" yelled Danzo.

Then, one of Danzo's Root ANBU pitched in front of her and threw a punch. However, much to his chagrin, the Anbu was killed in one shot, thanks to Hinata's gentle fist. This halted the Anbu forces.

"What?!" was all Danzo could say. He was in disbelief. A mere Chuunin could kill Root ANBU in one-shot! Root ANBU was top elite ninjas which were in secret organization! What is she?

"Let me tell you. I'm not just an ordinary Chuunin! I'm far more advanced! You see, I'm comparatively similar to a Jounin," she responded with a smirk.

"What?!" said a wide eyed Danzo.

Sakura was so surprised! She never knew that Hinata was as strong as a Jounin.

But her question was, "How is she still a Chuunin, then?"

"That's true," said Kiba. Sakura looked at Kiba who was smiling as if he was proud of her. "She worked so hard to become stronger. She was supposed to be a Jounin the same day Neji became one."

He then frowned considerably and said gloomily, "But…"

"Why? Because she wasn't qualified to become a Jounin on that day," Shino elucidated nonchalantly. "The reason is—"

"She did not get qualified to become a Jounin," Kiba interrupted, glancing up at Hinata who was glaring daggers at Danzo.

"She was very aggressive girl. Though she may be strong kunoichi, only one she could not be qualified is what Neji has right now. If she finds what Neji has right now, she could become Jounin."

"Yes." Shino agreed with Kiba. "The other reason is—"

Once again, Kiba interrupted him, "And other being her previous mission. She received her very first failure A-Rank mission. Since she failed A-Rank mission, her dad disallowed Hinata to advance the rank, thus she remained Chuunin for the extended period."

Unnoticed, Shino shot him a glare because he interrupted him two times!

"W-What?" said Sakura, baffled. "W-What happened then?"

Kiba frowned. He was going to tell her a story what happened to Hinata and how she failed the mission, but Hinata's shouting got the crowd's attention.

"CITIZENS OF KONOHAGAKURE," Hinata shouted, "Don't believe what he's saying! What he's saying is a lie! He's brainwashing you all!"

The crowds were very confused and had no idea what she was talking about. They looked at each other and muttered among themselves.

Danzo smirked. He knew what she was going to say. He always knew everything about Hinata. Even though she told him she could make the citizens because of her 'hero' status, he already had a plan B should Hinata interfere!

"Attention, citizens of Konohagakure!" said Danzo. Once again, the citizens paid attention to Danzo. "Don't listen to her. She's been under the influence of the Kyuubi. Yes, even your Hero is currently under the influence right now. Are you also aware that she's being attracted to the demon brat?"

The crowds gasped. They muttered among them once again, and this time they looked betrayed. It was almost as if they were betrayed by Hinata.

'Damn it!' She never liked the citizens. Apparently, whoever befriended Naruto was a curse to them. That's why she loathed them so much. She never liked them in the first place. She had seen many people doing cruel things to Naruto when he was a kid.

She remembered when she was seven years old. In fact, after Naruto saved her from a bunch of bullies, she started to look up to him. She started stalking him every day. He was not aware of it during that day. One day, she was horrified by witnessing that adults were beating up Naruto, calling him "demon brat!"

She was too frightened to show herself up, and even afraid to save Naruto from adults. She did not save him because she feared that they might beat her up. She could not repay him for saving her because she was too scared. She was frightened and ran away back to her home.

Ever since that day, she'd always been ashamed of the adults. She disliked them, because they hated Naruto for no reason. There was nothing wrong with him. Why so biased against Naruto? Biased against Naruto because he was the vessel of the Kyuubi? That's absurd! It was so illogical to bias Naruto like that! Now they found out that she has a crush on Naruto, were they going to bias against the Hero of Konoha as well?

She MUST do something about it! She MUST win against Danzo. So that way she can get him arrested NO MATTER WHAT! NO matter what!

Tsunade noticed Hinata's trembling hands. 'Hinata…'

Danzo noticed it as well and displayed a smirk. 'What will you do? Now they know that you like Naruto. There's no way you're going to win! I've already won!'

Now this is a cliffhanging situation.

She tried to figure a way to convince the citizens somehow. She came to the conclusion that even if she tried to explain them about how Naruto saved her from a bunch of bullies, they would still not listen.

But, she had to win the battle. After all, it was the most important thing at the moment. If she confessed that she actually liked him, then she would automatically lose the battle. She did not want that!

Other World- Kaio's Planet

Minato and Kushina widened their eyes in astonishment. What Rin had just told them was a huge revelation. Apparently, Kaio and Rin had known it all along. Well, Kaio knew it all along because he watched over the North Galaxy, and Rin knew because she died for 16 years. They knew who the man behind the mask was the whole times.

"What? You can't be serious!" Kushina said, astounded. "We always thought he's…" Her heart was so broken and was very disappointed in the man. She always thought he was a cheerful boy, but she was wrong then. She was so pissed off that the same man she thought who he would be apparently got Minato and Kushina killed 15 years ago.

"I see." Minato nodded. Although he looked calm, from the inside he was shocked. "That's why he attacked Konoha. So he's looking for revenge then?"

Rin nodded, frowning. She was not pleased to see how that man had become. "Everything got messed up after the war… I'm depressed to see him like that."

Konohagakure

It was like hours and hours to Hinata, but in reality, it was only seconds. Her brain proceeded too fast to think, because she thought harder. She figured out how to win, and that was all that mattered to her.

She looked down at Sakura. She recalled what she'd told her.

"Maybe I should tell them that Naruto-kun did not do anything wrong, and Danzo only blamed him because he 'kidnapped' you and that's why he wanted to arrest him. Maybe it will change their mind," said Hinata.

"No, that won't work. They won't change their mind about Naruto no matter what, unless he did it himself. They hated him so much that they wanted him dead. Apparently, if someone is attracted closer to Naruto-kun, they will hate that person. Like you or me, for example. No matter what you suggest them about him, they will still hate you, nonetheless. They already hate me for dating Naruto anyways. I don't care, although.'

Sakura was right. They would hate Hinata for saying that. In order to avoid it, she had to win no matter what. Suddenly, she got an idea!

"What?" Hinata whipped her head around and smirked at Danzo, looking horrified. "Did you just say… that Naruto is the vessel of the Kyuubi? The same monster that nearly destroyed Konoha 15 years ago?"

"What?!" Danzo quickly surprised. He hissed at her and he could see that she was smirking at him a little. 'Who does she think she is? Did she really have to retort like that in front of the crowd? Useless bitch!'

"Wait… Is that the same law in which no adults are allowed to tell our generation about Naruto being the Kyuubi? Are you telling me that I'm in love with that demon? I can't believe it! How could he?! He's manipulating me to think he's a nice guy!" She scowled with disgust look.

But actually, she was acting all along. She could see the citizens whispering to each other.

"You bitch!" growled Danzo.

"I've finally confirmed my suspicions about you." Hinata pointed at Danzo accusingly. "I deduced that…you allowed Naruto to escape and you blamed all of this on Tsunade, isn't that right?" All citizens gasped in shock. "You allowed him to escape so you could use him as your weapon. After he escaped, you decided to put an accusation on Tsunade so you could dethrone and become Hokage yourself!"

Danzo widened his eyes in shock. That was his first time he had to show a flicker of emotion. That's because that was his first time to lose in a political battle. He noticed that all the citizens and ninjas glared up at him. They even shouted him to go away or die!

He shot her a glare and growled in a low tone. "You bitch…!"

Hinata chuckled mentally and proclaimed, "You've lost." It was good thing that she was good at acting. That's why she was able to lie to all of citizens. 'Idiots! Filled with blind hatred...'

Then again, she did not know who allowed Naruto to escape, but she was pretty sure that Tsunade did it. She knew Danzo never did it, but that's why she was able to lie to the citizens.

Danzo's growl turned into an evil chuckle. He let out a rejoinder, "It's not over yet."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Hinata narrowed her eyes and stared at him suspiciously.

"Look at your left," said Danzo.

Hinata did as she was instructed to, and widened her eyes in shock. Her stomach twisted harder, and she looked on fear.

Danzo's Root ANBU held an 11 year old girl with bob hair and large white eyes, as she was shaking off in attempt to get off him. She could not shout because Root ANBU muffled her mouth and pointed a kunai at her throat.

"Hanabi!" cried Hinata.

She was going to save her, but just as she was about to run, Danzo stopped her by shouting, "Not so fast!" She stopped not only because Danzo told her to, but because that Root ANBU was ready to slit her little sister's throat open if Hinata dared to run after her!

Hinata glared at Danzo and said sternly, "Leave… her… OUT OF THIS!"

"Now, now, no need to be angry, Hinata." Danzo smirked. "If you don't want your little sister to die, kill Tsunade. Otherwise, your little sister dies."

So it came to this now. Hinata was afraid something would happen. She would not let her Sister to die! IF there's between her Sister and Tsunade, she would have to kill Tsunade. Her Sister was important to her more than anyone besides her Mother.

Danzo was an intelligent man. He was able to give her a hard time. That's why she was sweating. She was very nervous. She was really nervous because everyone was witnessing the scene. They were shocked that Danzo would do something cruel to an 11 years old girl!

In the middle of crowds, Konohamaru was not pleased to see her crush being held hostage. "That bastard will pay for it!" He clenched his fists and was very angry.

Somewhere in the crowd, Boss girl watched on as Hanabi being hostage. She giggled, "Ohh… Just look at them! There's going to be a big mess soon! How exciting!" She looked at both boy and girl. "Oh, Kirito, Akame! Go to your opponent right now and engage with them as soon as Danzo and Hinata fight! It's going to be exciting!"

Kirito and Akame nodded, "Yes, boss!" With that, they approached Kakashi and Sakura respectively.

Hiashi looked distraught about her younger daughter being held hostage, thanks to Danzo. What did Danzo want? He wondered.

"Choose the right choice. You don't have much time to debate," said Danzo, sneering.

'Dammit! I guess I have no choice—' Hinata's thought derailed when realization finally dawned on her. 'That's right! The Signal! Maybe we can save Hanabi!'

"If you don't make a choice soon, your little sister will die," warned Danzo.

Then Hinata activated her Byakugan. Of course, after activating her Byakugan, veins would reveal between her eyes. She hissed at Danzo.

"Hey, that's the signal! Let's go!" shouted Kiba on the surface.

Sakura nodded, "Right!" Hinata's Byakugan was the cue.

With that, Sakura jumped off to the roof and took Tsunade away with her to somewhere, which distracted Root ANBU to her which gave Hinata a chance to charge him and killed him in the process with a palm thrust onto the heart.

Kiba and Shino also followed her, because of their Chakra Sensor abilities. However, Akame was following them on unnoticed.

Hanabi finally was free! She then went on to hug Hinata. "Nee-san!" She was not really afraid. She was just happy to know that her big sister still cared about her.

"Thank goodness! I'm glad you're safe!" Hinata embraced her very tightly, almost as if Hanabi was most precious to her in the world. She smiled at her little sister, and then scowled. "I'm going to kill that bastard! I won't let anyone touch you ever again!"

Hanabi smiled. "You're right! No one should touch the future heiress of Hyuuga clan's little sister! Go kill him for me!"

She showed her fist up, showing that she actually meant it! She never forgave Danzo for what he had done to their Mother either! That's why she wanted to kill Danzo. She found out that Danzo was the one who killed their Mother by Hinata. Her big sister told her everything about Danzo. Even worse, Hinata tried to tell Hiashi, but he did not listen to her. They were pissed off at Hiashi.

Hinata agreed with her, as she stood up, only to find that Danzo disappeared. She snarled, "YOU BASTARD! YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM ME, YOU COWARD!" With that, she jumped to chase Danzo.

However, Hanabi stared at her big sister, as she was out of her sight. She began to worry about her big sister. For some reason, she had a bad feeling about this. 'No…Something's not right! I can't let it slide. I must follow Nee-san to find out what happen!' She also followed Hinata on unnoticed.

"Let's go after Danzo!" ordered Shikamaru.

Ino nodded, "Right!"

However, just before Shikamaru and Ino were about to go after him, a small earthquake quaked and they were fazed by it. They whipped their head around and found the girl who already put her hands forward at them.

Boss girl grinned darkly, "Chesu Gemu Modo! (Chess Game Mode)"

"What's going on?" said Ino, confused. They were looking at the kid. What does the kid want from them? Shikamaru assumed the kid was not ordinary.

Boss girl connected her both thumb to each other while open her palm widely. Suddenly, her hands glowed too bright enough to blind both Shikamaru and Ino temporarily.

Shikamaru slowly opened his eyes, only to find himself standing on the large chess area. He looked up at the boss girl, and realized she was the King. He looked at Ino, and she was the Queen!

"What's going on?! Why are we in the middle of a Chess board?" asked Ino, confused.

Shikamaru stood behind the citizens who were pawns. It would mean he was the King here. He looked at Bishop on his left. That was Izumo. He also looked at the Knight on his left. It was Hiashi on the horse. His faces looked hard and scowl, almost as if looks could kill. Damn it! It's going to be harder than he thought.

"Ehh! Help me, Gohan-kun, Kuririn! Get me out of here!" demanded a woman.

He glanced over Izumo's shoulder, and it was definitely Bulma. 'What's going on?! This is Chess game!' thought Shikamaru.

"I'm getting you out!" Gohan yelled, as he tried to go to rescue Bulma. Unfortunately, he hit his head harder on the invisible barrier and knocked away to the ground.

Kuririn rushed to his side and asked, "Are you okay, Gohan?!"

Gohan pulled his head and stared in shock at the barrier. "I'm okay… They have a barrier up?!"

"Oh, crap! Now Bulma's in danger!" panicked Kuririn, staring at Bulma.

Shikamaru looked on his right. Obviously, Bishop was Kotetsu. Another Knight was Nara Yoshino. He widened his eyes in shock. "Mother!"

How dare this kid?! This kid also put his Mom between the life and death game! He could not let her to die either. It was not fair. It was always troublesome when he had to deal with the enemy. Enemy always wanted to do something so horrible!

He looked at Castle and that was Inari. Bulma, Gohan and Kuririn were in shock because they knew who that boy was.

"Inari-kun!" cried Bulma.

"Inari-san!" cried both Gohan and Kuririn. Gohan was outrageous and was not pleased that young kid would be used in Chess game as well.

Shikamaru came to the conclusion that this was the battle between life and death in the Chess. When he was a kid, he read the legend book about the animated Chess. Animated Chess is very dangerous chess where you can die in the game. For example, if Knight took over Pawn, then that Pawn will die for good! There's no way to revive them during the game. Basically, if #1 player checkmated, then #2 player will die!

"Hello, Shikamaru-san. My name is Rukia. I'm your opponent right now. This game is called Deadly Chess Game," said the boss girl.

Shikamaru frowned, "What do you want from me?"

"Oh, I want to play a game with you! Challenging smartest kid in the Konoha to the Chess game? How exciting!" She covered her mouth, chuckling. "You know the rule. I'm sure you know how to play Chess. However, I have a rule you will need to know. Trust me. It's going to be exciting! Nyah-nyah!"

Shikamaru was irritated by the kid. "W-Why, you!"

"There's no time limit in Chess game. You can ponder as long however you like to. You can converse with your soldiers in the strategy. I don't care. You can quit anytime if you want to. However, please be aware if you're going to quit, you and rests of your soldiers will die! Is that clear?"

"How troublesome…" muttered Shikamaru.

"Oh, I will take that as yes! Don't worry!" Rukia said cheerfully, pointing at her soldiers. "They can be killed and I can be killed as well! So it's fair and square! I'm not going to play a dirty game. Oh, trust me! It's going to be fun! How exciting!" She clapped her hands in excitement.

'At this rate, I can't let them to die! But how can I keep them alive? High chance of pawns being alive is lowest to zero!' thought Shikamaru worriedly.

"Hey, hey, hey! Do you know you're white right? That means you're first! Make your move! How exciting!" Rukia shouted loudly, pointing her index finger at Shikamaru and grinned.

Somehow, this girl reminded him of someone. Suddenly, he realized that she was similar to Naruto in some way. He snorted. 'She's very loud, hyper girl. If she plays Chess, then she must be smarter unlike Naruto. Also, her grin is just like Naruto! 'How exciting!' this and 'How exciting!' that… Her catchphrase is so annoying!'

He stared at the citizen's pawn who was in armor and sword with shield. 'I will try my best to protect you.'

He looked at pawns, and wondered which one he would have to move, but he was thinking too long because he was afraid he would get them killed. But of course, it's not possible to keep them alive all the way through the game.

"Damn it!" muttered Shikamaru. He looked at the very left pawn. That pawn looked fearless. It seemed that the pawn was willing to sacrifice his life for it. That's fine. Pawn was supposed to sacrifice life even though he would not let any of his pieces die. Normally, he would not move Knights at the start of the game anyways.

That pawn was woman. She averted her pupil to him and nodded at him, almost as if she's telling him to move her.

He sighed, "Pawn A2 to—"

"Wait, Shikamaru," interrupted Hiashi.

"Hiashi?" surprised Shikamaru.

"Move me," said Hiashi. Since he was the Knight, he could be placed either three square vertically and one square horizontally or two squares horizontally and one square vertically. Basically, Knight can jump over the other pieces.

"No! Wait! What will Hinata do if you're going to die?" asked Ino, worried.

"Trust me. Just move me there," demanded Hiashi.

Shikamaru nodded, willing to trust Hiashi for this. "Knight B1 moves to C3."

Hiashi's horse leapt over pawns to C3 square. Horse looked as ferocious as it was ready to battle.

Hiashi smiled over his shoulder at King Shikamaru. "Tell Hinata I love her."

Shikamaru raised his eyebrows in confusion. It was out of character for Hiashi to say like that. What was he talking about? Suddenly, realization dawned on him as he figured out why. 'No! There's one more rule that I have yet to know!' He immediately looked at Rukia who was laughing at him.

Rukia raised her sword up and grinned, "Special Magic Activated! Pawn B7 captures Knight C3!"

Shikamaru, Ino, and Bulma widened their eyes in shock. "WHAT?!" Somehow, Hiashi had a feeling that it would occur anyways.

Pawn B7 grinned, as he jumped up to the sky towards Hiashi. He turned his sword upside-down, and then landed to knock Hiashi off the Horse before stabbing Hiashi in the heart.

Pawn B7 had captured Knight C3, and now settled at C3 square, as he was staring intensely at one of Shikamaru's pawn. Shikamaru's pawn already trembled in leg with fear.

Shikamaru was baffled. Ino looked like she was going to cry a little. Bulma already cowered in fear and begged Gohan and Kuririn to get her out of the game. Shikamaru's mother was just as baffled as Shikamaru was right now. Kotetsu and Izumo finally realized that they could not use any jutsu to save their life and already trembled in fear. Inari gulped, but he managed to get so tough here since he promised Naruto he would not cry again!

Kuririn and Gohan were already speechless to witness the first death in the Chess game. Also, the crowds behind them were already gathered and watched the Chess game. They were also in shock. They knew they could not do anything thanks to stupid barrier up.

Shikamaru shut his eyes down and clenched his fists in frustration. 'Damn it! What will Hinata do when she finds out that her Dad died?'

"Surprised, aren't you?" laughed Rukia.

Shikamaru opened his eyes and hissed. "What's this? Why is this pawn being able to relocate very far instead of moving one or two squares ahead of their starter square?"

Rukia put her fists on her hips and chuckled, "So you're surprised, all right. Let me tell you one more rule, just to be fair. We each have one Special Magic point at the start of the game, meaning we can only use it once in a game. It can be used anytime. IF any one of pieces moved at least three squares total, I may command one of my pieces to capture any unprotected piece. However, you cannot use Special Magic to capture King. For example, your Knight had moved three squares and was unprotected since there's no piece in front of the Knight, and then I'm able to capture your Knight using Special Magic move. But now I've used it up, I will move like a normal move from on now. So, use it wisely, Shikamaru."

Shikamaru growled. "Damn it!" He feared for his soldiers' lives. If he made a mistake, he could be at fault for killing them. Since it was his turn to move, he had to think carefully.

"Oh, how exciting!" Rukia clapped her hands in excitement once again.

Hinata vs Danzo- Training Ground 8

Hinata finally caught up to Danzo and found her in the middle of the forest as she landed. She seethed with rage, shouting at him. "You bastard! No one can threaten to kill my little sister and gets away with it!"

Danzo snickered at her, provoking her further.

Hinata bared her teeth, as she hissed at him and charged at him. She was going to bring her palms up against him.

But… Danzo pulled his right hand out of his black robe as he waved his hand and created multiple blades of wind, which combined to form a single, large blade of air at Hinata. As she was knocked away, she screamed in the pain while opening wound in her each limbs. Not only that it cut some skins off, it also cut her long sleeves off and showed the skins up to her elbows, as well as some scratch on her legs.

She groaned, as the blood leaked from her skins. She glowered at him.

"Even if you're on Jounin level, you cannot beat me. If you do not wish to die, give up." Danzo simply stated.

Hinata activated her Byakugan once again, as she shifted into her Hyuuga traditional stance. "Sure, I can! I can beat you and I won't give up… No matter what you say, I won't give up…" Her mouth twitched into smile. "…because that is my nindo, my ninja way!"

Danzo was disgusted with a scowl. Hinata still remained in her Hyuuga traditional stance and already smirked at him.

However, unknown to them, Hanabi was hiding behind a tree whilst watching Hinata and Danzo. Hiding became her habit when she was watching Hinata's sparring training. Basically, she always stalked Hinata for most of the times during her pre-academy life. 'Nee-san…'

A/N: Oh! Hanabi's watching Hinata fighting Danzo! What will Hinata do when she finds out that Neji and Hiashi died? First his Mother, then Neji, and now his Father! :(

Damn you, Rukia! Stop saying "How exciting!" It's not exciting at all! It's so annoying! Kirito vs Kakashi for Card games will be just tooooo short! Let's say 500 words, and BAM! They're done! Trust me. You won't want to read about that. For Akame vs Sakura, it will be just as short as Sasuke vs Vegeta back on Namek, since Shikamaru vs Rukia, and Hinata vs Danzo are most important battle after all.

Sakura is still main character, and Hinata is just new important character in my story, so don't worry about it, Sakura fans. :) It's going to be shock in next chapter! Either it will be sad or, you will be like WHO CARES?! :)... Hint, hint!
